Logs
this has been completely emptied! I happened to have a stash of tradables so I re-stocked & added a makeshift log.
TFTC!Raided in the past seven weeks? At any rate, not even a log left, just ants. Wait. raided by ANTS?!?!At any rate, added some prizes and a provisional log women, IYKYK.
TFTC. Quick visit after work, minimal Muggle activity. Have picked up Sombrero to continue its journey.
A great cache close enough to the airport that we grabbed it while waiting for checked in luggage to be unloaded. Thanks for the cache
OCW PelDroedGwin As PDG is an engineer this one piqued our interest. A fun find! Left the TBs in place.Tftc
TFC! I was waiting for my flight and figured I would check this one out. I also took a trackable along with me to my destination
We found your cache today 29 August 2024 11:52am , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC Cyclonic
Woohoo- what a treasure trove! Swapped a trackable we brought from NZ for another. Great to know this cache is here- thank you!
Found while waiting for a flight at Broome airport. Picked up a couple of trackables that have not yet visited Victoria, for more caching adventures.TFTC
On my trip trough Australia l looked next to my destination and found this one. HEUREKA. Simple to find. Many thanks to the owner.
On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine, Edith Falls, Kunnurra, Bungles Bungle, Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now again on the sealed road from Derby to Broome.Big container and easy to grab .TFTC# 17'149
Nice big cache so I have dropped some TBs here. This cache is another stop along our long road trip from Broome to Perth. It is another fabulous spot that we might have missed if there would not have been a cache.cyclonic, cheers for placing this Small sized 1.0/1.0 Traditional Geocache Engineer's Delight.
DNF we found the spot, but couldnt find the cache. Looked like the top of the cache was next to a tree nearby, maybe a decoy? It was a busy day with juggles everywhere which stopped us staying around for too long. We fly out tomorrow, so might try again if not so many people around.
Woo hoo - just found my very first cache in WA. Thanks for setting up and maintaining this one. No official log sheet in cache - have added a piece of paper. CheersPS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] were with me on my great WA caching adventures today
Visiting on a cruise ship for a day. Found the cache but didn't see a log. Too many muggles to dig around for too long. Thanks for the cache
I started off on the wrong side of the fence but once I went to the other side it was a quick easy find.Hopefully I was early enough that there werent too many muggles in the nearby offices.SL TNLN TFTC
Found it empty too, like previous finders had reported. Put in a new log and trinket. Good luck log & trinket!
Random geocaching on an overnight work trip from Perth nothing inside see previous posts TFTC
2416 - A 1.0 / 1.0 cache with a pretty obvious hint, this should be an easy park and grab cache. And it was, except that when I opened the container just after dark at about 6:10pm, there was nothing in it whatsoever. The stone a previous finder mentions was in the garden next to the container. On reading the previous finder's notes, there appears to be a common theme that people are placing their own piece of paper in the container, which the next finder says has gone and the cache is empty again. To me this sounds like the cache location is compromised and is being interfered with by a muggle, one who probably works in one of the near by offices. I did the same, so if in deed my piece of paper goes missing like the ones before me, I'd suggest it might need to be relocated. Thanks for the cache Cyclonic, one from 2008 is a rare one to find these days!
Found with cullum68 on a few days here before heading home to Port Macquarie. Thanks for the cache
Found with nissan65 . Nothing Found in cache container. Replaced log. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching
We were in Broome Australia for the day on our ship - Holland America's Volendam. We took the mandatory ship's Shuttle to town and went to do 4 Lab Stops of a Lab and find two caches. After that we went back to the ship before it got too hot.#####################This Cache: Quick Find at GZ, but there was no container. Just a log at the bottom. So we put the log in a new preform tube to keep it safe.
Found on a very hot and humid day visiting via the MS Volendam. Thank you for placing this here. Great container!
Very easy find, might be my easiest yet, thanks to the clues I discovered it quickly.
Nice easy find there is only a small piece of receipt paper, may need updating soon
Found the camo but as previously mentioned, it is empty. As I am on holiday I have nothing to fill it with. Not even a scrap of paper. Needs CO maintenance. TFTC
Found while waiting for a flight. No TBs so will stop by next time to drop a couple off.
#5804Last cache find in Broome. The container was actually empty when I opened it.Thanks for the geofun.
Out for a road trip up north to try out our new camper and grabing a couple of caches on the way.
I tried fir this one last time we were in town but it was during office hours so I felt a little exposed. This morning was much quieter and I soon discovered the hidey hole. A favourite from me.

We’re in Broome for a couple of nights between having arrived in WA from Melbourne on the Indian Pacific a couple of days ago and heading off on a road tour of the Kimberleys tomorrow. I took the opportunity to catch the bus from Cable Beach into Broome today to do a bit of shopping and to pick up a cache or two. Trying to do the ADLAB in town was a huge pain in the behind, with phone and internet connection not giving the app a fair go. At least the Geocaching App was working the way it should.
On my final approach to GZ I, as usual, went up the wrong way, thinking as I got close that the ground didn’t look quite right and I shouldn’t be so close to parked cars. My thoughts were validated when I found myself looking at the cache through a chain link fence.
A quick walk around the building, after a short, pleasant chat with a young bloke who wanted to know what I was up to, but didn’t seem overly concerned that I might be up to no good.
The cache container is in good condition, but otherwise is in a sad way, with the contents being found scattered around the container. A log sheet and the pen’s outer were lying to one side of the container and I found the pen filling on the asphalt a bit further away. I put everything back in the container and closed it up. Sadly, the TB listed as being in the cache, which I was hoping to pick up and take on its way, was nowhere to be found.

Ms Atalanta and I are spending a week at Cable Beach, near Broome and passing some time on the hunt for geocaches.
This one was on our hit list. We were surprised to find it close to Pat Dodson’s electoral office.

Nice quick find here after having a discussion with a local lady about my opinion on the voice. Tftc
I was going to get the trackable inside but there was nothing unfortunately? But good cache before we fly back to Perth!
Very complex instructions, descriptions and terrain. Best to bring glasses to locate stash. Exciting times for Caspian and Colin. Off for a well earned beer now.
Our final day in Broome A nice quick find near the airport. Almost caught by a muggle who came out the back door of their business at gz! TFTC
Thanks for this cache, i swapped up. There was no log but i put a peice of entry in there.
Heading north with ricklink to Darwin and beyond. This was one of the caches we found on our travels. A nice cache here, thanks, Cyclonic
Quick find while in between flights. Just happy to get a cache today for the current souvenir series.

First cache of WA, having just arrived we stopped on out way out from the airport. Nice set up easily located.
When GreyHams discovered a great deal to relocate a motor home from Broome to Darwin, things quickly slotted into place to head out for another adventure together. Three planes and a full day of travelling later we arrived in Broome, with the most amazing orange sunset out the windows of the plane.
Plenty of time to discover a few of Broomes caches and places before collecting our wheels the following morning. It slept 6 and had all the luxuries, it was huge, climbing up into it there was no going back and off we set!
The drive was full of changing scenery. Loved the Boab trees in all their different shapes and mass numbers, termite mounds and the red earth. Wildlife lined the roads, always cattle but birds, wild horses, snakes, dingo's, pigs and even buffalo! Stunning rock formations, waterways and even many little fires it was a great drive stopping for the caches as we passed... but no crocs (sad face!)
Leaving Broome we had overnight stays in Fitzroy Crossing, Kununarra and Timber Creek, great places but the highlight being the Lazy Lizard in Timber Creek. Passing through Halls Creek, Katherine and even Kakadu among many other little towns and stops along the way added to a great trip. The van was comfortable and a novel way to travel, the caches spread out over big distances a chance to stretch the legs.
Arriving into Darwin and the van returned it was into town for a few must find caches, and to explore the town, a tad warmer than we were used to at 33C!
Many thanks to all the COs of the caches we stopped at along the way and that added to the enjoyment of the trip.

Aquilus1 & I decided at short notice to add another 'crazy' trip to our growing list of adventures. Flying from Canberra to Broome and driving a 'war rig' huge campervan from Broome to Darwin. It could sleep 6! The hire itself cost almost nothing as it was on a 'relocation' deal.
We arrived too late to pick up the bus on our first day....not surprising really as it took 3 flights to get there. The hotel we stayed at in Broome at had a "competition" on the night we arrived and several barmaids in odd clothing.... "Welcome to WA" it would seem.
After picking up the battleship, we proceeded easterly on our adventure. In three days we would see Fitzroy's Crossing, Hall's Creek, Kununurra, Timber Creek, Katherine, Pine Creek, Kakadu & Darwin, as well as a lot of road.
No crocs spotted, but we did see dingo's, water buffalo, horses, lots of birds & cows.
Favourite stop by a mile was in Pine Creek, at the Lazy Lizard. Very cool and also the cheapest!
Thanks to all the CO's for placing.

This cache was guarded by two dogs tied up lazying about, waiting for their daily walk!! Engineers came out and checked on them, and all good and the cache was signed and returned. TFTC
Engineer’s Delight has been refurbished, complete with a few gifts for next finders!
Hont and GPS were both spot on and found it really quickly. Unfortunately, when unscrewed lid, there was nothing there apart from some water at the bottom, as per picture. But TFTC anyway
With axell33 and think we found where the cache should be, however it was full of water and nothing else. This one needs to be checked and maintained please.
Found it. But unfortunately the lid was off and it was full of water. The log was missing.
Our last cache in Broome, only a short walk from the hostel where we are staying, yet we'd kept it for a lazy day.
The offices were already closed, no one around. Couldn't have been easier, indeed.

Thank you so much. I needed a cache for the day.
I have a TB that I have carried all the way from Unst, in Shetland that needs a new companion. Hopefully a traveller will pick it up and take it further Hidden Creatures.
Also I needed a walk after the markets in town this morning.. easy find on a Saturday when all the offices are closed. TFTC
