Another disappointing revisit.....this area has some perfect spots for hiding caches, so hope someone can find these soon.
DNF, looked for ages to see if it had been washed somewhere accesible or was just more tricky than stated.
Could not find but found where we suspect it was.
Nice area anyway TYFTJ.

Had a pretty good look around today and consulted previous finder. Wonder if it might have been affected by recent floods.
Looked everywhere, but couldn't find it.
Had to give up when the knee gave in.

I do sure hope the river doesn't flood, easy find but was in the open quite a bit. TFTC.
The clouds opened as I was down at GZ so the log book got a bit of spatter. I was surprised that this hasn't been washed away.
2:39 PM 6/11/11
After a DNF at the nearby McRobertson Lookout (Just could not see the cache from the Bridge with my dinky Binoculars) I decided to head out for a loop walk in the area.
Upon arriving at GZ, I did not expect the cache to be where it was, I could see it from about 10 Metres away. Nice easy find, just a little tricky getting to it.
Thanks to SCOTCHBOYS for the cache. TNLN, Signed the log.

i stood near G.Z for a while. thinking, i have the wrong shoes on today. while my geo 5 and sick geo 8 do cartwheels on the grass. i ventured to G.Z. thanks scotchboys[:x]
24/9/11 - found with Oscar Winston. Terrain level should be alot higher considering steepness and proximity to yarra! Realized after that potential muggles in house behind us could have been watching the entire time, as well as the water patrol boat that came through mid search, sus much?
24/09/11 11:25 AM Find #470 and a quick find in a quiet spot. Grabbed duck TB. Nice houses here TFTC.
After navigating the slope managed to find this one quite quickly without getting wet which was a bonus. TFTC
Arrived at GZ and realised it was a previous find that I had failed to log. TFTC TNLN
What a pretty location. Many Melbournians would know this area exists.
Dropped off Cuac! Cauc! I thought it would be appropriate to drop off this little duck at Riverview!

Another nice area to visit - cannot believe how much time I spent on this one - didn't look carefully enough to begin with. SL TFTC
Grass was much longer last time we were here and we were worried about stepping on something other than the cache! Especially when EB Contax thought he saw movement in the grass. Better luck today. TFTC
Saw a muggle dog walker at a distance , so had to walk behind a tree and when I was out of sight,to walk down the slope. Slope is quite steep, so be careful. Cache was noticed immediately and contents were dry. TNLNSL and TFTC
16/07/2011 15:58 Found: #564 I was using the Nokia maps to guide me to GZ but as it insists on snap-to-road, I went too far and ended up searching at the wrong location. Getting up the bank I found myself close to the end of the little road next to a parked car. There are houses close by with large windows, but the occupants must have assumed that their tinted windows would suffice as I saw a man/lad sitting up (thankfully facing away from me) topless. I can only assume he wasn't alone . I was glad that when I had swapped to the ViewRanger S/W that it sent me many meters away and back down the bank and out of sight. Arriving at GZ I quickly saw the cache and so sat down again to sort myself and sign the log. TFTC SCOTCHBOYS TNLN SL
I was staying with my son who lives nearby.

Found easily. Emptied out water from container and dried out the contents. Replaced the log book for a clean dry one. Will dry out old log book and return to owner. All clean and dry for now. TFTC.
Thanks for repairing the cache - much appreciated. Don't worry about posting the logs. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

This is from scotchboys who own this cache. We are in Queensland and cannot maintain the cAche for a while. Would be really grateful if some kind person could repair it otherwise we will have to archive it.
Out with CamBendy and the boys. Very wet and in need of TLC. Took TB. SL. TFTC.
Found today as part of my clear the Richmond/Burnley area out of caches attempt. I had planned on picking this cache up before walking on up to Blue Beard's Treasure, but on arrival in the park there was a guy sleeping in the shade near the cache and a family picnicking. On return to the area from Blue Beard's Treasure the family had moved on and although the guy hadn't moved, I figured if he was still asleep he was likely to remain so, so I risked it. I found the cache eventually, the co-ords seemed a bit off, but no biggie. The log was fairly wet, so I set it to dry for a while. It is also on it's last page, so the cache has done well, especially given Geodog and rascals prediction way back in the 4/10/08 (wrote: Picking up before the cache goes!) Took Swaggie, left TB. Thanks for the cache scotchboys
Such a peaceful little place. Will definitely be back here. Love it! Took the blue ball and left a butterfly. TFTC
#3 find of 4 this afternoon with RollaB. Great place for a picnic. This one took awhile cause the iphone kept dropping out. TFTC.
Great little spot. Took a little while to find it but it wasn't a bad place to be hanging round in. TFTC
#13 Really nice spot for a veiw of the yarra. TFTC

Easy find after reading description.. I enjoyed the River view soo much that I returned to the car to collect my camera..
We were completely befuddled by this to begin with and were looking in completely the wrong place. Eventually a hot and bothered Snake joined me on the bank and we trawled through the logs where we found the encrypted log by Danozz. Snake sat down and decoded it and voila - the cache was soon in hand - THANK you Danozz - we were way off track.
Got a car park only 25m from GZ today, and after a short scramble down the slope I had the Sistema in my hands. A much better container than the lunchbox around the river bend! Cheers!
Met up with Blacklegend17 to do another one of our night cache runs. Nice walk down to GZ and the cache was soon found. TFTC.
Another night caching run with Marty (Quasar3671) around Melbourne and suburbs. Quick find down the slope. TFTC.
Picked up the "Crossing the blue to see Steve geocoin" as I was headed down to Chadstone to find a geocache
Took 45 mins to finally find at 7.30pm by the light of my mobile phone. Fortunately an earlier log helped me to discover it. Left geocoin on its way to Chadstone.

Out for a few caches today with my sons.
This one took 2 attempts and a look at the clue as the cloud cover was making it hard for the GPSr to settle down.

Find 12/18 for the day, my second attempt at this cache, last time was in the dark so this was my first proper go. The coordinates are off and the cache page doesn't tell you squat, so my hint is [sebz pbooyr qenva tb yrsg gbjneqf evire 5z haqre guva gerrf.] Decrypt it if you don't want to waste a quarter hour stumbling around on an overgrown river bank.
Nearly a DNF for me... Climbed down, then from left to right and back... And no cache. Back to the car, I checked old logs. Climbed down again, looked around, saw a reflection, and there was the cache in a place I hadn't searched before. TFTC
A great little find while cycling by the Yarra. I'm really loving the scenery down here! (I'm visiting from Sydney). TNLNSL. TFTC!
Was quite a way away from the Co-ords but due to the last Logs and the Size of the container it wasnt hard to find

No luck with this one. The river was higher than normal - I wonder if that was a factor. The park is very pretty.
Tried to find this cache at night, didn't work out. The description sucks and the coords sound like they're out as well, I'll get more clues from others and come back later.
Find # 1177 @ 13:20 Another nice view of the river. Garmin had me on the flat so I broadened the search area and soon found the cache. TNLNSL Thanks 7A for another of your caches.
Took a minute to locate the cache (but its easily spotted)

A great park in the burbs , co-ords didn't match up as they were out on me - tftc
Found with girlfriend e-facit at 4:15pm. Easy find, even though the GPS co-ords were very off the actual location... we had more trouble logging with a dog walking muggle who was very suspicious of our activity...

Sunny Sunday morning, not a great time for caching. Had to wait for three rowing muggles to clear out before looking for this one. Easy find once they were well out of sight. TNLN TFTC.

New to the official world of caching but have been involved since 17th of April 2009 (my first cache find). But have only just gotten a log name. Time to log all the wonderful caches that I have been finding since I have been caching with The Empire. My name in the log book is H.

We found this after some serious scrabbling only to discover the container about to fall in the river with NO LID!!! We decided to take the poor thing home, dry it out and replaced the container with a sistema container which shouldn't leak. Returned it the next day.
Really enjoyed the walk around this area and piched up a couple of good caches just added to the morning. Grabbed the TB and left a Pen. TFTC
Great riverside view! Enjoyed the mighty yarra flowing past. A quick find as it wasn't well stashed. Hopefully fixed that. T4TC Left 2x travel bugs to keep each other company!
Decided to take a walk after work along the mighty Yarra.. Such a lovely night to do it. How lucky (and wealthy) some people can be to have such a lovely outlook. My Gps was sending me up into the houses which I knew could not be right. Once it settled down it took me to an obvious place which of course it wasn't right. I could see others had made the same mistake as I followed the cachers trail. Located cache without a problem as this area is now so popular. I would not recommend to do this one in business shoes llike I did.
Thanks for bringing me here. TNLN

This is a beautiful part of the world, so it's fitting that there's a cache there. Once I read the clue I saw where it was pretty quickly. The houses around there must be worth more than I'll see in a lifetime.
I walked around from a nearby cache and found myself in an empty park. I was soon on the hunt and it didn't take too long to find. The only risk was from river based observers which I must say was a very pleasant change.
Wasn't where I had initially expected it to be, but in the process of moving over to my second likely hide spot I stumbled upon it. Nobody around or on the other bank so it was an easy one to log and replace. TFTC
This cache took a bit of finding but we eventually struck gold. We nearly had a great river view ourselves!! TFTC
Took Chad Cornes AFL Footy card and left finger puppet. Thanks fo the Cache - took some to find it!

King Jnr and Snr - no luck today an extensive search up and down after which we did sit on the nearby seat and enjoy lunch.
