Logs
We're here one more day waiting for parts So off on another caching run. Missed this one yesterday as we biked into the park
In the company of chamed, hatzofff, Imbunda and GEM_54, we are targeting the caches in and around the Barolin Nature Reserve, signing all logs as BUGARAS (aka Bargaras). All caches were found, some after a second (or even a third) attempt, and the occasional log sheet replaced where necessary.Thank you, youngoldfella, for placing this cache and showing us the wonders of this reserve. It is truly well laid out, and the pathways well-maintained.
A planned weekend away to Bundaberg and a visit to Gladstone to check on the property to see how far it has advanced. It all started with the usual friday afternoon traffic crawl. I had left my run a little tooo late and it was not until Gympie before it seemed to flow a little better, so many people going away.Today I got to join a few other cachers to walk around the Barolin Nature and Pastoral Reserve. There were some very good caches and a few that had us searching for longer than we liked. We even walked to a few of the outer lying caches and drove to a few others. This was a great walking area and just a simple set of trails to follow. I enjoyed our walk around today, thank you.As we walked around we had to backtrack a couple of times to continue with our loops around and finally got to an end where a car came around, we then got a few along the road as we worked our way back to the starting point. We signed the logs as "Bugaras" to save time and space, sorry for the generic log.
Day 4 in the Coral Coast area. It is a nice sunny day. Doing the reserve and othersCaching with RoddyC chamad GEM54 and imbunda. Signing as BUGARASTFTCache youngoldfella
We are catching up with fellow geoes close by to spend the day smile hunting. Had time to stop and put our name on this one..
A final chance to cache before the final curtain falls on the Pooch Prancing CompetitionA few targets means Im driving past more caches than Im stopping forNo issue finding the cache, but water has gained entry and the log is mushThanks youngoldfella
Went and checked and had a replacement container with me but the other container was in place. The hinge is broken so I have replaced the container using the same log book. All good to go.
A lovely day around this area finding some caches and this was one we found. Thanks youngoldfella for the hide. We signed the log and replaced as found.
Brislions, GreenGecko1 & myself are in Bundy to make a strategic hit on a number of great caches placed & maintained by Youngoldfella and a couple of others. The weather has been great & its starting to feel summerish. Most caches we found have been great, a couple with wet logs of various degrees and one burnt container that protected the log for us to sign. COs have been approached where necessary.Loving the TAF series, so many to get So little time.
Today was a big day caching. I was chasing a few different caches for two challenges. I was joined by GreenGecko1 and Muggles65. I found about 50 caches today. I was the chauffeur for today. The Nagagator was GreenGecko1 the back seat driver was Muggle65 or the gopher. Caches were either hidden in a log, base of a tree or hanging in the tree. Too many to remember. Thanks for bringing me to the outback roads around Bundaberg. Youngoldfella thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.
It's our second full day in Bundaberg during our short caravan trip.
We solved jigsaws and mysteries well ahead if possible and collecting the Infos for the other ones.
It's a wonderful variety of caches here, and the weather beautiful.
Thanks to all COs for placing the caches for our fun.

T4T$ A short walk from the car soon had this cache in hand, log signed, replaced, and back to the car to continue the hunt closer to the coast.
A nice quick find by Mrs SKI.
Our first full day in Bundaberg. We decided to head out to Bargara and see how many caches we could find along the coast and surrounds. This included 2 Adventure Labs, puzzles and traditionals. These were mixed in with great scenery and some interesting nature reserves.
Combined with the lunch we had it was another great day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

Coongoola & Geodog are on an adventure after attending the Townsville Mega event in Qld. We found your cache today 24 May 2022 11:11 am , while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC youngoldfella
Parked up at the entrance to the park and walked to my GZ for a reasonably quick find. TFTC youngoldfella
After seeing the DNF I was curious as this one should not get Muggled. It is still in place and my GPSr had it at under 2 meters accuracy. I have adjusted the description and the additional hint.
After a lovely weekend on Fraser Island, thought I would continue up the coast and visit a few small towns that I've never been to before heading back home to the Gold Coast.
Another neat hide and cache was easy to locate on my walk around this lovely area.

Day 4 of my week away exploring Bundaberg and Maryborough.
Today was another long day and I will be doing generic logs to all the caches.
My apologies to all the CO's.
A big thank you to all the CO's for their hard work in placing and maintaining all the hides for everyone to find.

I have replaced the container and put in a new log book in a clip seal bag. There is still a pencil in this one but do not forget to bring your own writing stick just in case.
Staying in Bundy for a few days and visited Bargara to find some caches around the area.

On holidays in Bargara and I was awake early and no one else was stirring so I snuck out to find a few caches before brunch was organised. This was the first find and happily made a straightforward find to stat my morning off. TFTC YOF
Last day in Bundy and back over caching on the coast mainly. Have been down many of the back roads but today was mostly urban caching. Weather has been wonderful and it has been great to find such a variety of caches. Thanks.
Day 4: Morning - Out and about around Bagara and district. Another great day weather wise to do caching, while visiting the area. Found the cache and signed the log. TFTC youngoldfella
Just left Barbara to go to Mon Repos and Monty06 was on to the cache in a flash. She is getting better at finding them now log signed and replaced as found but the cache needs a bit of attention. TFTC
My muggle husband husband are on holidays from Brisbane and today was our last day . We decided to check out bagara and find some caches on the way. This was a nice muggle free park and easy find. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
The plan was to hit the beach which means I wasn’t wearing the correct footwear for caching but was enjoying the scenic drive and didn’t get into the water today. Maybe make the beach a priority tomoz
Located the cache quickly after a short stroll to GZ. Poor little tin is quite weathered.

We'd driven past this cache 3 or 4 times before we realised there was a cache here! Today Mr. Herbz quickly swung the car into the park and stopped right beside GZ. Mrs. Herbz made the find.

A great little stop on the way to the supermarket. It’s nice and cool under the tree.
Out with my Geo-Buddy Gazacasa in the Bundaberg and Bargara area today. Appreciate the efforts for all of the caches. TFTC.
We found a great place to park that was safe and away from the main flow of traffic. A small walk later the cache was found and is in good condition. SL TFTC
4th quick grab for the morning. Coordinates out a bit. Eclipse very rusty once found by redxr6, log signed and away we go. The banana man was a little worried, but once I explained we were playing a game, he had heard of before...tftc
