Logs
Checking out gumma reserve for a future camping trip Got the cache while we were here TFTC
TFTC Picked up Trackable GSTGPX AUSSIE MARIO. Hopefully he can go overseas as he wants to. I cannot believe it has sat in this cache for so long Fav from me for the trackable.
TFTC - decided to check if there were any Caches around as we camped at Gumma Reserve. This was just 100m away. Bring long pants and sleeves. The bushes will cut you!
Found whilst camping in Poppys Legacy at Gumma Reserve Mozzies & barbs galoreTftcFound with Saltyandslim and MoSSau
Nice cache to find when camping at the reserve. Plenty of mossies when finding but thats part of the fun.
woohoo we found it was a great hiding spot got a little scratched up from foliage but was good
TFTC
I wasn't sure what to expect with this one....a couple of DNF's had me thinking I was headed on a wild goose chase, however the cache was in its hidey hole.
The cache container is in great condition as were the swap items, but the two logs were so saturated, they had turned to mush.
I removed the old logs, replacing them with a new piece of paper which it put in a Berrocca tube to hopefully keep it more waterproof.
The cache was then placed back in its hiding place.

Did not find this. Found the tree we think, looks like its been flooded. Had to bush bash our way in. Heaps of razor grass.
Unfortunately found just as we where leaving Gumma Camping Reserve after spending a few night here.Could have and should have tidied up the cache up a little! Very wet, both GZ/ /cache and the day Thanks for the cache The Box..
Found it although could not sign as it is extremely water damaged inside from recent flooding in the area. Great spot
Found this one during a kayaking journey u the creek.

Tftc we did this one at night so it was a little difficult! We will definitely be coming back during the day though!
This was the biggest cache i found today. I'll be back when the reserve isnt so busy to set off in my kayak to explore warrel creek. Tftc
We stayed at Gumma reserve last night. Nice little rest area and quite popular, but still quiet. This morning we were up bright and early and made a detour on the way out to grab this cache. No problems! Tftc
Drove on in to the reserve and there was caravans everywhere, I guess it is nearly Easter, found the treasure.TFTC
Huge fig tree. Small plastic box with blue handles In the base of the tree.
Tftc! Set up for the night on our way to Adelaide and had great fun rummaging through the undergrowth to find the cache! Chache is pretty damp and in need of some tlc, left newest log in new ziplock. Thanks again - Sheanstar and Lyllie
Whilst parked looking for this cache several cars went past, geez it's busy here I say, then to my amazement an Ice-cream truck drives past. no prizes for guessing what happens next. A beautiful day on the midnorth coast, perfect for caching. 3173 3:22:00 PM The Bax without cachers like you we would have no game. Thank you. TNLN SL
Today we took a trip up North to Macksville find a few caches
#10 for the day, as expected the tree cover sent our GPS all over the place however after a short search we had cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache

TFTC Camping at Gumma for a couple of days. Introduced a couple of noobs to the game. Don't rely on the co-ords under the tree cover, rely on your instincts.
When I saw 'fig' in the name, my heart sank as I have struggled with one of these in the past but it turned out that after one lap, the cache was in hand. TFTC The Bax
Found it - saw it but didn't get it and open it as we had forgotten our pen to write in the log book and plus we were to chicken to fish it out in case of creepy crawlies
Camping the night in the reserve and walked to the cache in the last daylight. As soon as we left the road that last bit of light was gone but we'd brought a torch and along with the phone, navigated the vines to the easily recognised GZ. As so often happens we did a complete circle before finding the cache next to where we first started looking. A beautiful spot to camp, shame they felt the need to charge. TFTC The Bax.
Thought we'd take a drive on this wet Mother's Day. Lucky I was wearing protective clothing, would have hurt myself otherwise. Lovely spot, thanks for the hide
Beautiful out of the way camp grounds near Macksville in NSW which use to be free. Unfortunately the council have made an executive decision to charge $20.00 per night to stay at these grounds with NO power and NO showers.
What a shame!
What a shame!
Down here camping for the weekend had to get this one before we left. Log book damp but managed to sign. Tftc
After attending the Melbourne Mega Event, it was time for us to pack up our things and make the long trip home. We had not yet travelled through this part of the country before but unfortunately, we didn't have sufficient time to stop to explore ... maybe next time we are down this way.
Having packed up after staying the night, we finally checked the GPS to find that this cache was not far away at all. With the cache found easily and our name in the log book, it was time for us to return to the car to continue our journey home.
Thank you The Bax for taking the time to place and maintain this cache for everyone to enjoy.

Nice place for a cashe, shame the book to sign is very wet, and we didn't have any to replace it, signed loose peice of paper in container. tftc
Found on a revisit to the area with earthly65...quick sign as i was being eaten alive here by mozzies...earthly waited in the car...ha....she had been here before....tftc
The book inside the box was very wet and we were unable to sign and date in it. We signed and dated our find on a peice of paper someone else had put in the box before us.
Found it! Our first official cache Also found the mozzies :/ Log wet as previously mentioned.
Headed down to the Nambucca area with batdos and earthly65 to pick up some of Nudges new caches. After loading up on the bushmans spray for the mozzies we entered the tree cover and soon spotted the amazing fig. Quickly signed log and made a break from the mozzies to end up in a puddle ankle deep. Thanks for the cache.
Grabbed this one on our way out of the camp site. A really good spot to stay overnight. No fish were caught tho.
Found while working in the area. A nice drive to a great location beside the river.
Made a quick find. The log is slightly damp but ok.
Thanks

What a top spot. Thanks for taking me here ! I'm always on the lookout for places to go and camp like this, and this one's a real beauty.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Amazing spot. Another great example of a spot I would have never found without geocaching. Great cache. TFTC!!! #254
Made this one a bit harder than we needed to! If you park in the small space behind a large tree on the creek side, it is approx. a 50m walk north along the road and then go into the bush. Found it quite easily, log is still very damp but managed to log my visit. Have a look at the photo posted by previous finder and you will get the idea. Great hide, TNLN, TFTC
Found i see log book is wet now we cant wirte onthis paper too many wet ..
pls our cache will got new log book paper put on your our cache [Time to Find: 10 min]

Found after storm the previous night. Still in it's hideout but the container lets water in I'm afraid.
I used to camp here a lot but the price these days is a bit too dear for what you get. I did practice a bit of CITO here as there seems to be many people here known as "Tossers". We bagged a full garbage bag of rubbish between where we parked the geomobile and GZ, mainly bottles that have been thrown out windows, old plastic bait bags, fishing line etc. Very disappointing that there are so many tossers around in lovely camps like this one. I don't know why people can't take their rubbish home with them.
Feedback: log book is quite wet and needs replacing.
SL Thanks The Bax, for the cache.

I travelled about 150 meters too far and had to backtrack, then managed to home in on GZ where nI walked around that object about 4 times before spotting the hide.
It was placed well inside the space that I would assume to be well away from rain. But when I opened the Cache everything inside was soaking wet, all the pages of the log book were stuck together and the ink was running. It was placed with the lid to the top, I do not know how that amount of moisture could have got inside, mas it had a good fitting lid. Could "The Bax" owner please attend to this one ASAP.
A new log book will be required until the present one is carefully dried out.
