Have archived this one after changes to the entry gate area resulted in the cache disappearing, along with the hide. Will need to find a new spot in the Newham area now! Thanks to all who found and left great comments.
The barrel is gone and a brand new shiny sign now out the front. Looked around for a bit, though was a race against failing light and cold,, rainy weather. Sorry to say, I think it is gone.
To the owner: I love this winery and come out often. Would you consider a new cache somewhere close again?

Another quick find today with 6Hinemoa2 on a caching tour of the area.
Thanks AussiePuschaks for bringing us here, no time to sample the delights inside though. TNLNSL

25 May 2011 | 10:24 AM found on a cold wet day just as the wine tour bus went past.
Now the geogirlfriend says to me, “Would you like to go to Hanging Rock?” Of course I say (and under my breathe – I wonder what caches are out that way!)
So here we are, hanging out at Hanging Rock. We had a nice lunch before starting out. The walk was very pleasant and we had fun exploring the area. We probably spent a lazy 3 hours wandering about and taking photographs. Interestingly we paid nothing to enter the area. When I went to pay for the car parking I placed $20 note in the ticket machine and received a receipt for $10 to get me out the gate, and 10 two dollar coins! Bonus !
Now let’s to do some nearby caches… well here’s one – Hanging out with Jim. A short time later here we are signing the log. Thanks AussiePuschaks.

Found on our way to a weekend in Melbourne. Couple of odd looks from some walkers even though we weren't really doing anything. Exchanges made and took GC. TFTC
After what seems like an eternity since our last cache adventure we were pleased to locate this one. Took a hairclip and frog, left 2 pencils, dinosaur and book. Had a great day out at the rock, thanks for the adventure!
#1232 @ 2.05pm. Found on our way through to Melbourne. A nice place to visit however we didn't have time to check out the wares today as we were pressed for time. TFTC AussiePuschaks

First and only find for the day @ 4:30pm, nice and easy find, took a look at Cache contents with geokids. Signed Logbook, TNLN, TFTC.

Reperio at 1625. Took in the extended route from the ACT to Castlemaine to meet up with family for Christmas to stop by and grab this one. With the day warm and sunny, the drive through this part of Victoria was beautiful. Pulled up at GZ and it wasn't long before the cache was located. I wonder if there are any monkeys in there.
Gratias.

A lovely drive up a real country road. Thanks to aussiepuschaks & Unicornnikita for this cache and also the property owners for allowing this.
We didn't drop in for a tasting as time was already getting away from us as we were heading to Hanging Rock for the Leonard Cohen concert.

1645. After a fruitless search for GA2622 on nearby Hanging Rock then an aborted find of GCXCEK because it was in the no stopping zone at the access gate to the setup for next Saturday's Leonard Cohen gig also at Hanging Rock, it was pleasant relief to locate this so quickly. If I didn't have a train to meet, a visit to the winery would have been welcome. And my first genuine Geocaching.com container - I suspect the 4 latches improves on the 2 latch Sistema in terms of waterproofing. TNLN. Thanks folks and also for a road to Kyneton previously untravelled.

Quick drive by. I didn't visit any of the nearby wineries....maybe next time....when I have somebody else to drive me ...he he he. TFTC
A really quick drive-by which was much appreciated after a long day's caching. TNLN. TFTC
Found by Johnny Mud, Mrs Mud and GeoSam @ 1520 after a visit to Hanging Rock. Our first visit to the area. The container base is cracked and there was a bit of moisture inside. We dried it out as best as we could and lined the interior with a plastic bag to try and keep the contents a little drier. Other than that all is good in this part of the world! TNLNSL. TFTC.
Found while meandering my way to Heathcote for an astronomy night. Watery sun was setting, and I managed to retrieve this guy without further reference to the Garmin. I love getting out of town into this area. Thanks for the cache.

Found on the way back from a 2 day Bendigo cache blitz with my mate Blacklegend17 (Marshy). Actually ended up here by accident as I had taken a wrong turn. TFTC.
A nice easy find while driving through the area for work. Didn't have the GPS with me, so used some local knowledge (and the hint) to grab the cache. Would have gone in and purchased some goods if the place was open!

Nice easy find by MMelb to start off our day before visiting Hanging Rock itself. Some of the camoflauge had fallen away so cache was exposed so we covered it up again but I think if its really windy it might happen again.
Took squashy water ball and left a small rubber cricket ball and 3 Bob the Builder Crayons. GMelb and MMelb played with the ball while I was logging the find lol
TFTC our first of 3 before visiting HR

A lovely area to visit on such a beautiful day. I don't think I've ever traveled around here before, although I have been to Hanging Rock, and I had a great time exploring some of these neat country roads and cute little towns. The cache was a nice, quick find too.

Heard rumours about a cache along the path of my regular walk with the geo-puppies, and found it without benefit of GPS or clues.
Having taken a punt on the reason for the cache name as we turned into the road, we were not surprised that GZ was where it was. Gotta love it when they're nice and straightforward (which is not to say that complicated and tricky isn't fun too from time to time!). Thanks for the cache, aussiepuschaks and Unicornnikita.
I was out for a day caching with Sam Carter, and we couldn't understand why this cache is named as it is, but not being near the rock. But as we neared GZ and saw certain signs, it all became clear. As soon as we parked and approached GZ the cache became quite obvious, even though it wasn't actually visible. No visiting the winery for us! Thanks for the cache.
We found this cache today. A nice easy find but we didn't visit the winery as we don't drink the stuff. Thanks for the cache.
As with others the meaning of the name became clear at gz, where a quick find was made as the postman drove into the winery! Thanks for the Cache
10.15am
Found by Roma and Max.
We let our Garmin auto routing program direct us to the proximity of GZ, and on departing we realised we could have done a better job ourselves!
What was surprising though were the number of walkers we passed as we came in from a northerly direction!
We signed the log and made no exchange.
Thank you aussiepuschaks & Unicornnikita for placing this cache.

With the place to myself early this morning it was a flying visit in and out. This is one of the few caches Amy wouldn't mind doing with me as she loves visiting wineries? Do they have a cat here? That would make it twice as good in her books!

A nice easy driveby find for this cache with the pervasive scent of fermenting grapes in the air.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks aussiepuschaks and Unicornnikita for this simple cache to almost round out our day. A nice sized cache to find as well. A much appreciated difference to a lot of caches nowadays.

I found this cache with caughtatwork and mummy today. I found this one while caughtatwork was looking somewhere else. Thank you.
Found by Mary & David at 1220. Beautiful trees and a great view. No time today to venture in, so a return visit might be in order. Cache was clearly visible when we arrived, so we repositioned the camo on departure. Collected TB 'Bob Hasselhof'. Our thanks to aussiepuschaks & Unicornnikita.
Found during my RDO.

Featherdwon and I were only the second finders of this cache and as I grew up not 10km from here I know the area well.
I forgot what a great view to Mt Macedon and Hanging Rock is gained from here and we decided then and there to head up the Camels Hump on the way home.
The cache is an easy find which was great.
Thanks

We approached this cache from the west and it wasn't until we reached the gates of the winery that the road improved dramatically.

Great location with fantastic views of Mt Macedon and Hanging Rock , not to mention the temptation of visiting the nearby business for some refreshments. I saw this cache pop up but have been too busy with home renovations and ongoing firefighting with the CFA to do any caching recently. I decided to take some time out and visit this location and was pleasantly surprised to still be FTF. Left "Knot Me" TB and took nothing. TFTC
