Hasn't been found for a year, no response from owner.......
It's a good puzzle, but it's not been maintained.

99% its goneski. Returned today and found where it was mounted - but no sign of container.
Solved the riddle, worked out the numbers, but couldn't find the cache. Might ask the owner for a hint
First time doing one of these particular number puzzles. Didn't find it in the calculated place though previous logs would suggest I was in the right area.... It's not the nicest place to search so I didn't spend much time on it... Thanks for the puzzle.
It took me ages to get the riddle but i was determined not to cheat, after that it was simple for me. Tftc.
We were in the area to check out the market so we wandered over to find this one.
I saw a beautiful park I was sure the cache would be in there, but it was not. The log sheet was soaked. Thanks for the cache
Puzzle was solved earlier in the week eventhough I had printed the puzzle out many weeks beforehand. First combinations I had did not work but perseverance kept me on. Upon reaching GZ, corner shop was open with muggles standing and talking. I ignored them, headed to the cache and hid at the side to log it. As mentioned by previous logs, cache is very wet even the new log that was placed. TFTC
Being a regular solver of this type of puzzle I had no trouble getting the coordinates but it took me a while to get over here but this morning the opportunity presented itself. Had no trouble finding the little thing. Log slimy and wet and also, teasingly, all we could read on it was "cache is located at S". Maybe there is another stage but I suspect it is just somebody's caching notes being used as a log.
As advised the cache is in a sorry state. I put an interim log sheet in but it needs attention.
I have looked at this one on and off many times, but last night I finally sat down, figured out the first 2/3 of the puzzle and edited the last puzzle to make it easier for my dad to solve It wasn't obvious what the last puzzle was but I found out the answer very easily when I saved it and edited it I printed out the instructions for the puzzle and handed it to dad. There were two reasons I wanted to get this cache. Firstly, it is within my 10km radius of home which I am trying to clear out. The second reason is because it is very close to where my Dad actually works, and he goes to the bogus coords ever single day. So last night he came up with a solution and reading the logs and looking at some satellite views, it looked good. So today I loaded the coords into the GPS and sent it to work with dad. I expected him to find it at lunchtime, but I got a call at 8:00am to say that he had found it Unfortunately, the log was very wet and he was actually unable to sign it, but he does have a photo to prove his find Thanks for a nice cache Team RooBok
My usual caching night was disrupted by a family event this evening so I only had a chance at grabbing two caches. I was able to get home and change after picking up the first cache on the way home and I then headed out to this cache. It just so happened that this cache was in the general vicinity of my evening destination so I parked in the nearby car park and grab my torch. I looked up from the car park and saw endless possibilities for the cache, but once I entered the GZ location I saw that there were only limited locations for a hide. I found the cache in the second place I looked. I was only just able to sign the wet log, and as I was doing so I heard a homeless elderly woman muttering to herself at the other end of the road. I was soon in the car and off to dinner. I’m glad to get this one out of the way as there were a number of possible solutions to this puzzle. Thanks Team RooBok
After lunch at Prahran.
when arrived there and was missing the cache so I keep searching and notice the cap and where is film canister, finally found it but where is the log paper luck no damage so put it back and put hide. I suggest that owner better check to see everything ok.

Found it. Had obviously been muffled and a very unsavory message was left there.
Obviously I took that out and replaced with a strip of paper to serve as a log.

Solved this puzzle a month or so ago before we travelled down to Melbourne for a week of holidays. The cache is still very wet inside and really needs to be looked at. Very difficult to sign the log properly.
Thanks for the cache

Found while out on a night caching run through Melbourne with Blacklegend (Marshy). Nice warm night a caching in T-shirts for the first time in a while. Had solved the puzzle recently after working on it on and off over a period of months. Was glad to finally walk up to GZ and locate the cache. Thanks for the puzzle and hide.
Found with my good mate Marty (quasar3671) on another night caching run. Warm night and were caching in t-shirts. Puzzle solved in advance by Marty, and a nice quick find at GZ. TFTC.
Puzzle was solved quickly but unfortunately the log is saturated and needs replacing. Lots of rubbish here, including shopping trolleys wedged into an entrance stairway. Despite all this, there was a very nice smell of food around. I'll try to come back and have a meal here sometime. TFTC
Neat puzzle, glad nobody was around as I'm not sure how I would have explained what I was doing there. Thanks for the cool cache.
My coords led me to a lane behind a restaurant... looked promising. Unfortunately, either I was in the wrong place, or I just couldn't see it.
Started out with no idea how to do this puzzle. Solved it with uncertainty, but found the cache! TFTC
I decided to have a go at solving this one while I was waiting for a Windows virtual machine to build that I needed to finish another local puzzle cache.
After working out what it was and how to do it, I decided to take the easy route and solve it with some software. While that did turn out to be a lot of fun, I'm sure that solving it manually would have taken about a third of the time.
Anyway - went out to GZ today and found the cache safely in its spot and signed the log. Nice to see a cache with plenty of room log-wise. I didn't really mind GZ that much, but maybe I'd change my mind at night time.

Joleen loves these puzzles so as we were going to be in town to day she solved this one before we left. Once we found a suitable car park we headed off toward GZ but once there we could not find any sign of the cache or even a good location to hide one. The GPSr kept insisting the cache was further on but we had hit a wall. After a while the penny dropped and we found a way to the other side of the wall and we had the cache in hand after a short search. Diane's birthday is also 08-08 but a few years before 2008.
Thanks Team RooBok for the puzzle and the cache.
Thanks Team RooBok for the puzzle and the cache.
Solved this puzzle a couple of weeks back; first time I had seen a puzzle like this and it was really fun to do. Found a cache for the last 15 days and didn't want to let the run end today so pulled this one out of the bag. Quick trip down and it was a nice easy find once there. Thanks very much Team RooBok.

Hmmm ... the riddle itself is good however the final cache-location is ... not the best. Anyway nice work.

Figured out the puzzle a couple of weeks ago, and I just needed to go and pick it up. Nice easy find with the help of Meals. TFTC and the entertaining puzzle.

Well this I thought was going to be a challenge with my minimal maths skills and it certainly looked greek to me!!!
But I persisted and was amazed when I managed to solve this puzzle after 2 attempts.
I strung together some co-ordinates and soon landed at gz.
Stood to the side and signed the log.

As we were heading down to Melb for a function, I managed to convince 'the boss' that as it was a Friday, we better leave in plenty of time.
Surprise. surprise, we had a half hour to kill, soooo while we're here, honey, you don't mind if I pick up a couple of caches, do you?
I worked out this very clever puzzle this arvo, looked it up on google, and walked straight up to the cache.
My thanks to Team Roobok for this cleverly themed cache, and congrats on the marriage.
Spot-on co-ords were certainly a help too, SL

Solved the puzzle a month ago and was in the area so found the spot and found the cache pretty quickly, thanks for the challenge!
I tried, truly I tried, but finally had to accept a hint to get the puzzle to make sense. The resulting coordinates led me to this surprisingly quiet spot in a very bustling area. Maybe I was just lucky on the day. Haven't been here for ages, and enjoyed checking out the changes.
Thanks, Team RooBok.
Thanks, Team RooBok.
Had worked this one out while I was visiting my daughter (glad to see her uni fees weren't for nothing). Love the thought of puzzles but need guidance which way to point the brain.Taking advantage of the good weather and daylight savings to polish off some in this area. Had me worried for a little while as this was leading me into a very busy area. It turned out to a nice easy find. Quick retrieve and off to the next one.
Thanks for the cache. Really enjoyed it

Wheeeee! I'm on a roll today. Finishing up lunch with friends on St. Kilda Rd, I headed out to this one, found a car park in the white (no charge) and had the cache in no time at all.
I had been bored at work during the week, so I've been trying to solve some puzzle and this one came together in about 30 minutes. I must have been lucky there too as I was able to find a reasonable answer with only two early mistakes.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks TeamRooBok for this cache experience and puzzle today.

Both EuDes & I had independently worked out the puzzles a month or two previously and had come up with a likely destination. The opportunity for a joint evening expedition came up and we headed to the suburb with Jeffrey the dog for the hunt. With a cup of coffee riding on whose respective hunches for a likely GZ would win, mine was searched first (unsuccessfully), after which we decreased the altitude and followed EuDes's more experienced nose and he came up trumps at 21:00.
Although the GZ surrounds were not really to our liking (especially at night) and could have been better selected, the puzzles that got us there were enjoyably challenging. A good first puzzle cache - many thanks to Team RooBok.

I had figured this one out quite a while ago and we had been promising to complete it with ssmc4 for quite some time. With a shocker of an evening preventing a joint foray here a month or so ago, the glorious conditions tonight were way too tempting, even though my predicted GZ was not my favourite "evening" type excursion . Nevertheless, Jeffrey the Wonderdog, s and I ventured here and we soon had the stash in hand at 21:00 after a short search in the wrong, but far more preferred , area.
TNLNSL, although a few of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Team RooBok (and Happy Anniversary for last month ).

Found 08:15, we found at least five valid solutions to this puzzle all of which yielded valid and more or less likely co-ordinates. After several visits to what we considered the most promising solution. We were forced to revisit the puzzle and finally did not settle on a solution until we had it confirmed by the cache owner. All in all an interesting if ambiguous challenge..
TNLN, CSI=2, thanks Team RooBok.

Found after a bit of a search in the wrong place at the right co-ordinates. I must admit, I am still working on the solution, and was given the answer by an un-named friend. At last I can get this off my nearest cache list. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with the same answer (in time). Thanks for the brain bender and for the cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1515. David really enjoyed the puzzle, and had a solution after about 20 min. To be on the safe side, we then compared coordinates with a previous finder and found our solutions differed by about 15m. Back to the drawing board, changed four numbers, and had a new solution that matched the previously successful one. Looked better on Google Maps too. Lots of memories here for Mary as she did her training down the road at The Alfred. The Market was just a nice walk away for some calories. Congratulations on your wedding, and on a most auspicious date too. Our thanks to Team RooBok. Hope you both enjoy caching as much as we do.
I was going to an afternoon concert across this side of town so decided to look for caches in the vicinity. Fortunately I had just enough time before I left home to work out the puzzle (nice little mental workout); and the car park coords turned out to be ideal for the concert too! Did the concert first ("The Idea of North" - excellent a capella group), then came out and did the cache. GZ was a little unprepossessing, but it was quiet and the cache was a nice straightforward find. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide, TeamRooBok; and all the best .
Have been working on this for a while and with a Robmc nightshift included we had a result. Took a bit of a trip around the suburbs to clean up a few and this was the first of those and with a nice quick find at GZ, after we'd come around the block the wrong way, it was all done.
Thanks indeed

We had looked at this puzzle when it first came out, but never completed it - not sure why. When Chewin' came over with lots of bits of paper, we looked at it again. We worked out an answer, tonight was the first chance we had to see it we were right.
Lots of people areound here, fortunately GZ was a bit more private.
Luckily we didn't look the next night as the scaffolding had all come down! (Not at GZ thought!)
Thanks, Robmc.

e-facit and I set off for some twilight caching and stopped at this one on the way to the bay. I solved the puzzle during the week after deciding that I needed to clear out some of the puzzle caches around Melbourne so it was good to find the container exactly where I had predicted. Nice easy find in the end

We found our 1st Team Roobok cache at 9:05am as the 1st of 15 on route to Bendigo. I had this one solved back on day 1 but I watched the DNFs chalk up and although tempted to swing down for a look myself, the combined efforts of the DNFers being unable to make a find convinced me to stay at home. So we waited and waited and waited amd wondered if it were ever to reappear. Thankfully, it did and we were able to swing past today and make a fairly easy pick up, though at first we did wander down a dead end street. I did enjoy completing the puzzle though. Thanks for the cache from D,H & A B-A.
Managed to get the first part of the puzzle ok but for the second part I found a rather large number of possible solutions so maybe there is a rule missing or maybe I just missed something. The possible solutions is narrowed by the coordinates solution but I was still only in the general area. The phone a friend option was needed and fortunately I then had enough to get there. Found a Toothbrush at gz so the pile of rubbish is still there. Thanks Team Roobok.
Find # 2561 and 3rd of the day at 9:08am Accompanied by Feathertop on our first warm spring caching day. I had worked on this puzzle a while back but when it went offline put it on the backburners, so when I realised we were coming part this way a few long hours were spent working on it last night. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx DelBoy1203....
I started on this one but put it aside for a while when it went offline. Knowing I would be in the area today a bit of effort was required and after that a promising set of figures emerged on ozi explorer last night. I could hardly wait to get out here today. I am pleased to report that not only was the cache found but I can report that listerine and toothpaste are now part of the immediate landscape which is great news for those hoping to get up close and personal with the locals here.
Thanks.
Thanks.
After waiting suitable time for Geodes and Pprass to log this before me I made my way to GZ after my presentation this evening hoping to reduce the muggle difficulty for this cache. With no one about I was able to get a great park and was so confident I knew where it would be I left the GPSr in the car! Thanks for getting the cache up and running again and for forcing me to learn how to do this type of puzzle.
Cheers,

Found at 10.30am GAFF4. After waiting a suitable short time for Geodes to find the cache first, I headed out of my office and travelled exactly 960 metres in an easterly direction to the scene of the infamous DNF of last month. The now familiar syringe was there and as Geodes mentioned, other odd items have also joined it - it will be interesting to see what other cachers report that they have found at GZ
I was being observed by a local trader for a few moments, so I made it look like I was going to get my car - while I was there I was surprised that I couldn't see the cache and then I realised why. It had changed it's size!
Thanks for the cache Team Roobok - got me out of the office for a few minutes!

I've had this one on my watchlist since the first few attempts came up empty due to the cache having been muggled before its 1st find . Yesterday afternoon, I saw it get re-enabled and was tempted to head off there on my way home - but my bike was in for a service and I had a loaner and I had to be at the bike shop before 1730 so I decided to leave it 'til this morning. I figured this location is probably better in the morning too (considering the number of "night" businesses that probably use the GZ area ) - but it sure was packed with vehicles and I had to squeeze between them to get to GZ - after which the cache was an easy find in the 1st spot I checked . I'm not surprised the original didn't last long if it was a regular sized container in the same spot and I'm not sure that the replacement will have a long life either - GZ seems to be heavily used and, this morning, as well as the syringes, there was a cap, a can of deodorant and a hair brush within 2m of GZ - so the junkies do seem to take pride in their appearance!
Apart from the location (and I really didn't mind that too much, but I don't think a cache will last long there), I thought the puzzle was really well thought out and I had a lot of fun solving it .
Thanks Dellboy - once again, I'm extremely impressed with the accuracy of your co-ordinates - you must have a pretty good GPSr, or a good technique 'coz that's not an easy spot to get a decent reading.

Cache replaced at the same coordinates. I may consider moving this at a later date to the nearby park but I don't have the time at the moment.
Good luck!

Is there a rule to the puzzle that I don't know? I get any number of possible solutions, most of which fortunately don't effect the letters, but some which do.

I have been off sick (damn winter flu bug!) and haven't had a chance to get to this part of town. I will try to get around to this one soon to check, but it sounds like it is gone!

DNF by numbers.
Time spent searching: 40 minutes
Syringes found: 2
Condoms found: 1
Number of homeless people living in the stairwell: 1
Flights of stairs climbed: 6
Caches found: 0
I searched behind every sign, gate, over hanging tree, and industrial airconditioning unit, but no cache. I too have a close connection to this location, I know the people who own and work out of the building on the corner here. My dear Amy was working here when we first met. I am concerned about the location given the items listed above. It is also evident that someone lives here on a semi permanant basis. If you feel the need to move it (or replace it), the park nearby is empty!
I've added this to the watchlist, I hope someone has more luck than me.

Yesterday afternoon was so cold, wet and miserable that sitting in front of the fire with a puzzle seemed as good a way as any to pass some time. I initially made a silly arithmetic mistake which caused me to get stuck on the final puzzle but, after correcting it, everything fell out nicely and I was able to confirm my coords with the coord-checker. GZ isn't all that far from work so, even though it was a bitterly cold and wet morning, I headed down there on my motorbike before work with high expectations of an easy find. It wasn't to be, however - after spending 30 mins in a rather unsavoury location and checking at various altitudes for a regular sized container, I was past my time allocation and had to belatedly head off for work. I'll keep an eye on this one.
Thanks anyway Team Roobok - and congratulations on the Happy Event .

DNF at 5.35pm. Triple 8 - a very lucky set of numbers for some - hope the marriage is successful and brings you both luck!. Thought the restaurant you went to was Jaques Reymond, but he is down Williams Rd - great place as well.
Worked out most of the puzzle, but lost patience with the end bit. After a huge downpour, got out of the vehicle and had a poke around. Couldn't find anything that looked like a regular cache container. Did find a used syringe though!
Let us know if it is still there. Thanks Team RooBok.
