Logs
Second in the 'Sea to Lake' series we found today. Log very wet and difficult to sign. Found what I presume to be the lid cover on the ground nearby so put it inside the cache. Left 'Aloha' geocoin and took nothing. TFTC
The main problem with getting to this one was the water lying around. It went out for about 400m. I picked my way along and managed to keep my dainties dry for the majority of the walk. Took the right path and made my way to GZ. The cache was immediately obvious. I think an animal had pulled this from its home - it was upside down on the ground. It's clever "bling" had departed the top of the container but was still there. It was also very very wet I had bought a spare notebook - but was saving for that for the next cache. My wonder pen managed to sign the log - but it will need attention. Picked up the GC. TFTC d.d.dudes and curtdog - this has been a great series so far

Forgot to add that I found a pair of dark glasses in the vicinity of the cache. If a previous cache visitor would like to claim them then I'll see what I can do (the glasses are in Brisbane now).
I continued on from #4 enjoying the trail through the scrub. There was the smell of a bushfire in the air but I presumed it was from the fire earlier in the week further north. After not too long I reached GZ. Had to search a bit longer for this one as the GPSr led me slightly astray and there were many likely hiding spots. But the find was made, the log book signed and a Geocoin deposited in the container. TFTC.
In der Nähe geparkt und sofort entdeckt....
aber schönes Versteck....

1425hrs. We made it. The log over the creek was interesting. Not a muggle any where. Cache was nice and dry. TFTCSL
Found by Mr & Mrs 1SR at 0930 on our Noosa Holiday. I think we parked in the wron spot, but still an ejoyable walk. Plenty of wildlife to keep us company.
An easy find

We continued our walk to the lake enjoying the bush, a quick grab on the way through. Took TB.
Thanks d.d and curt.
Thanks d.d and curt.
I continued along the track enjoying the bush and then a short stop for a quick find at 1035hrs. Had to jump a raging stream. My senses were alive as I continued along the track towards the lake.
A FTF to boot, thanks dudes!
