As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

I haven't found this cache. I haven't even looked for it. I am logging it as a find, so that I can remove it from the map feature and know exactly how many caches I have left that haven't been disabled. I will remove this log if/when the cache is enabled.

Due to the flooding this cache as been washed away. When I have a chance to get up to Toowoomba again I will replace it with a new one.
Cheers, fire_boy72.

Attempt 2
I have had this one sitting in the database since the evening of our first attempt and have only just gotten back to it.
We were in the middle of a wide open space and the clue didn't fit anything nearby... Think I need to go back to the drawing board and try again. Although I reckon we had to be close just to be in a wide open space not someones front yard again...
Thanks for the hunt all the same
Roaring Ford.

Attempt 1
After finding all the clues we quickly worked this one out on the side of the road and got an answer not too far from our locations, so off we went only to be guided to the front yard of a private residence, although it had a few rocks in it we decided that we were in the wrong place and moved on to the next cache on the list.
Will sit down with a few iced teas and try to work out where we went wrong and then have another go later.

Ok, found this one just fine. I must say, that of all the caches that I have found via geocaching.com, and of all the other private gps hunting, searching and games etc etc that I have done in my past this cache for some reason has been the most taxing of them all. I think it is because of my chronic injury that I have taken on in the past two years making my ankle the weak link in my efforts. But having to make over 9 car to GZ movements for one cache and at an average walking dist of around 100 meters one way I ended up walking 3.7 kilometers according to a pedometer, and 6.3 kilometers on the reciever as a total walk and drive. Funny as it is, had I just walked the course, and left the car at the first stop I would have only walked 3.1 kilometers. How do I know this, my wife Strawberri, walked the route as I drove it, I was done in 1 hour 33 minutes, Strawberri was done in 2 hours 11 minutes

Found this cache with the help of endorfun, although I might have been able to do this myself, it would seem that we both had something that the other did not have with solving this find. One of us had a mobility issue and the other had never done a cache like this before.
I had a great deal of fun doing this one.

01-Jan-10
With one walker, one rip sticker, one reading and one driving we meandered our way up the creek.

We enjoyed the path, the plants, the wildlife, the creek and the beautiful day.

Once we had all the numbers, we headed off to GZ where we met 2 young muggles collecting guppies - magic.

A quick search and we found it.

Great way to start the new year. After collecting all the data at the waypoints, managed a quick and easy find at 0745 hours 1/1/10 (GC.Com hasn't ticked over to 2010 to let me log the date correct yet).
Great cache exploring the west creek waterways. I thought I knew that area fairly well but discovered little spots I hadn't noticed before. TFTC. TNLNSL.

I have finally had the time to find it after sitting on the co-ords for months.TFTC Ran out of time when finding co-ords and could not locate the cache container even though we did look in the position that it resides now. All is good now.

14-Feb-09
Found with Mrs L&L and Bedmaker. Nice wander around the place. Saw things I'd probably never have seen but for geocaching. How many times do you hear that? Easy find once we had the final co-ordinates and a pleasant spot to sit and sign the log also. TFTC.

Final co-ords took us to a lovely spot Smile complete with ducks, flowering shrubs and a beautiful butterfly Cool I also had a chat to some Sudanese children who had only just arrived in Toowoomba. They were thrilled to think that I had recognised them as Sudanese Cool Thanks for the tour Smile

Had tried this one a while ago but the cache was MIA at the time. Returned today with the Lat&Long Junkies and revisited it with them. Didn't mind going around a second time as you do vist some nice spots. I especially like the miniture train area. This time had sucess and found the cache. TFTC

I don't know why I do these things to myself. Decided to do this one this morning. By the time I was at the cache it must have been 30 deg in the shade. I needed the walk but a little cooler would have been nice.
I must also learn to count trees better, or at least, get a little closer. The first count put me in a caravan park, so a minor alteration and the cache was in hand.

Thanks for the walk and cache

A great cache and a good way to get a bit of exercise!

Did the cache a while back but when I got to the final GZ there were too many muggles around. Went back early this morning for a quick find.

Thanks for the time to put this one together.

We had a lovely walk around the area solving all the clues. The hint pretty much pointed to where the cache should be however we could not find it. It does however look as though the council may have done some gardening, and may have moved it. This cache may need attention from the owner to confirm its still there.

Started at WP1 and walked to GZ without any annoying magpie. Was plain to see from other walkers that use this path daily that he is active but no sign of him today. Nice walk quick calculations and a nice easy find at the end. GPSr spot on the Co Ords of GZ and the Additional hint is a nice confirmation. TNLN TFTC.

27-Oct-08
Started to check this one out but gave up the hunt at WP1 due to an extremely aggressive magpie that rattled the geokids a bit. Just thought I'd post a heads up for cachers in the next month or so while the maggies are at their worst to take appropriate precautions.

Up for the weekend doing some caching and having a very successful time. Requested by geoson Fire_boy72 to check out the cache. Found that it had been muggled but has now been replaced with new log book and swapys. TFTC TNLN SL

Quack! Found while Diesel48 replaced the cache. A much better way to find a multi Wink although I have previously had the opportunity to explore these beautiful parklands. TFTC =]

We thoroughly enjoyed this cache! A great way to explore some amazing parks!

We had no problems grabbing the information we needed, and the final walk to the cache was stunning! Contents dry and in good condition, thanks for the cache!

The Gang had just been for lunch at Sizzlers for an early father's day celebration when we decided to walk it off with a multi. Luckily, there is quite a bit of walking with this one and we all felt bloated before starting the cache. Shaggy and Scooby as usual had made pigs of themselves.

After finding all the clues Velma did a few calculations and came up with the co-ords for the cache. After picking the wrong side we found a place to cross not far from the cache.

Thanks for the hunt.

20-Aug-08
First part of clues yesterday but ran out of time. Finished of the clues today and found the cache. Its amazing how far you can walk in continuous parkland in toowoomba. Fantastic!
TNLN SL Thanks for the exercise.

Found in the company of lochb. A nice walk but the wind was strong and cold. So strong, in fact, that it blew my cache notes out of my hand and into one of the many ponds along the way. Fortunately, lochb was able to fish them out before they floated out reach! A cache to remember. TFTC!

02-Aug-08
My first FTF! Woohoo!!! So cold i could barely sign the log by the time i finished, but great walk through the park. Found the cache fairly quickly once in the right location. TNLN TFTC

We must have been just beaten to the FTF - well done, qldwarrior! Yes, it was freezing cold. The wind was icy.

Found the cache after a nice stroll, with only a small accident on the way...
