Logs
The cache was swimming in a pool of water, so I moved it a tiny bit to the right so it didn't sail away. TFTC.
A nice quick find today. We spent a bit of time looking the last time qwe were through here. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are off on a cruise around the south of the South. Great to be away. The day was fine, though quite overcast, as we travelled toward Dunedin.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Day 4 on our holiday in New Zealand. On the way from Te Anau to Queenstown over Dunedin, we also visited this traditional cache, found it, and signed the logbook.

Quick easy find, cache was a little bit wet inside - dried as best as I could

Kiwicampnut and I finally managed to coordinate ourselves having been over to the island we have finished my PWGT5 caches and making good progress on hers.
We almost gave up here, then decided to totally ignore the hint.
Found below GL, held in place by a weighty natural object. Rather wet inside. Dried out as best as we could (thank goodness for waterproof paper!) and replaced a few feet along, out of the dip and the water.
Thanks to all volunteers, but particularly those who appear at this location.

Ruru-NZ and I are on Stewart Island doing the Geotour caches as a priority but any others found are a bonus for me.
Took longer than needed. Bit wet but able to write on log

Today was the day I headed Nor-east out towards the other President locating and signing off a few caches.
I replaced the sodden logbooks with some waterproof paper.
Cheers for the cache.

Sorry for the late log, forgot I had done this one. The logbook was unfortunately wet and we had no replacement.
Cache 751 Thought I’d grab this one on my way to Balclutha, I’m not a big fan of ones hidden inside propertys but thought why not as there wasn’t any vehicles here today PHEW Cache was a quick find but unfortunately all the logs inside are absolutely soaking wet, luckily I had my stamp on me cause my pen would have torn the log. Good we spot though T4TC
Heading to Stewart Island with Natalie247 and grabbing a few caches along the way down. Thought we had found what we were looking for but it wasn't to be. TFTC Pukekos from Pukerau
I stopped for this a few years ago but didn't get out of the car because there were too many people about. Today, been the Saturday in the middle of Easter it was a nice quiet day. Coords were out a little. However because I had read and re read previous logs it didn't take very long to find. Thanks or placing.
*Found on a nice day going from cache to cache with woolwood9.*
We soon had the container located. SL: **tm/ww NZ**
Thanks for putting this out for us to visit!

A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 11 Gore to Dunedin 23 caches found. These guys do such a great job. Once I trusted my GPS I found the place to go to. It felt strange going around the back. Thank you for the placement

Caching with Bladesedge today. Cache wasn't above ground & couldn't be seen from 2mtrs. Think like a geocacher as hint wasn't really helpful. TFTC
Found alongside Hevic on the way back from our Fiordland trip. We were a bit apprehensive about this one, but I've always been of the mind that if challenged honesty is the best policy and I had the description to back me up. It was remarkably quiet and we had the cache in hand fairly quickly. Cheers!
I'm on a south island tour on my recumbent bike and stayed at the Gore Motor Camp. Going to Balclutha or Milton today. TFTC.
Read through the logs after this cache had only been discovered recently and had suffered a severe cache creep. Since then it has been moved back to it's original spot the logs have resumed with no more problems befalling the cache. We found it nice and dry and signed the dry logbook. The cache has good protection. TFTC
*Placed back in the spot with a flat rock on top at GL after finding it a wee bit wet in the swimming pool wheep!! Replaced the logbook and changed the bags. The cache owner has been inactive for quite awhile and cache has fallen to others to maintain. Old logbook is dried out and will be return one day.*___Found 20 Aug 16 Had searched unsuccessfully for this one before Xmas eve '15 with all the DNF's racking up and was about to throw the book in. Snow1983 was a logger from 2010. It was found a lot more further away on one last go and found the little 110ml lock'n'lock tucked away at Ground Level wery well hidden and the ground let go with a POP lol. Cache contents were good and the last finder to sign the log was back in January 2015 ! That's a longgg time ago without any real visits for a main-trunk-road cache. The relatively new engineering outfit next door looks wery productive and the GZ could be mugglishous during business hours, let alone any activity erupting unexpectedly from the immediate premises near the GZ seeing as that you need to enter the property at the gateway. At least it's placed with permission. Dday TFTC
Found last night on road trip north. Didn't know what gate to open, therefore didn't know what fence we weren't allowed to climb. About to give up, but found it in the last place we looked lol. Tipped out water, but log dry. Thanks. Hope the volunteers have a quiet season.
Found on our way down South to Bluff for the weekend. This one had us going around all over the place and after searching the most obvious places and coming up empty handed decided to check previous logs. Thanks to Lion.v. Lambs cache was soon in hand with much relief. Certainly a lot of activity in nearby buildings and felt quite exposed. Picked up TB. TFTC
Found this caches on our way from beautiful Milford sounds via Nugget point to Dunedin! We had so much fun travelling on this New zealand part, weather was nice so we had a lot of stops beacause taking pictures and finding caches Thanks a lot to all owners for making those caches and taking such a good care of them Greetings from czech republic
This one isn't really a DNF (did not find) - more if a DNL (did not look) as a young man had his head under the hood of his car across the road from GZ and he looked like he was going to be there a while so we didn't get out out of the car. Will leave for next time.
This one was too clever for us today. Looked for ages, up, down, around, behind, inside, outside etc. did find a nest with four blue eggs in though. In the end we had to carry on with our journey north. Thanks anyway. Rodney and Iris.
After attempting from wrong side last time in the area, come to the right side this time and cache quickly in hand, TFTC
NZ road trip with Schlitz13. On our tour we had the time to look for some caches. We found them, and some special places of interest or great views.
TFTC!

For the first time during our visit to New Zealand the weather was getting really worse. We headed north-east for our next destination: Dunedin. But first we visited the very small Te Anau Wildlife Center. The whole day was very cold and we only looked for geocaches and tried to get further on to Dundin. Finally we arrived at the Royal Albatross Center just in time for taking a private tour, that was even in german as the tour guide Sabine and all visitors are german.
Just arrived at the GZ coordinate I reminded me the tilte and I know where to go, but beyond the fence ? Ok, the owner wrote about permission is granted, so I found the box finally.

additional information: I will change my geocaching alias name from 'Schlitz13' to 'Megalodon'

How much do I hate going through gates or over fences? It always makes me feel like I'm doing something dodgy. Especially when I go the wrong way.
