Sounds like its muggled, we have move to South Canty, so will continue to maintain caches still up there, but will let go the ones muggles for someone else to use the places
Sorry - had a quick look but the tree seems to have been chainsawed. No sign of the cache that I could see. So dog poos though. Unless that was it?
TFTC. A great location to have a treasure hunt. Peaceful at the beach, but very busy down the road at the coffee house.
Out at leithfield checking an orienteering course. Popped in to find this one. left a TB. TFTC
Heading back to Sunny Nelson, had a ten minute wander on the beach and a quick spin on the merry-go-round thing in the playground.
Took some finding despite obvious spot. Baby-Organist signed the log and then raced off to the playground! Caching is slow with children.
Quick find in the afternoons sunshine.Tree has had a couple limbs removed but cache is still ok. Thanks for stopping us...wee dude loved the playground...
Easy find with newbies ADHDave and SleepyT on a lovely day for getting out of town. Enjoyed the beach view and walk. TNLN, only I signed log as they hadn't decided on their 'name' yet, TFTC!
Found this one on our 4 weeks holiday in the South Island.

Didn't know about disabling. But the cache is on the place. Found it without problems. Only the content was a bit wet, so we tried to dry it a little bit. Put in some TB and small door hanger and took out little frog and car toy. Also, had a very good lunch near the playground. Nice place. Thanks and greetings from Latvia!
Checked it out, looks like it may have been Muggled, will be on my list of one to fix up soon
forgot to log this so had to guess the date, dont know why, maybe the trees, but took us 3 go's to find this one!!! tftc
Searched for a bit, but couldn't find it. Found some things that could have been in the cache though, scattered about.
Walked along the lovely beach to this one, had a wee hunt around before finding it, but eventually got it. TFTC
Forgot to log this. Found on a wet Sunday and was almost fooled by the hint. Really couldn't spot the "crook etc" It was there though. Not far to walk either. Thanks.
Wazza and the Wenches have invaded NZ on a (caching) holiday. Surprisingly the Wench is happy for BBTD and Wazza to chase caches wherever we go.
Back to Christchurch today. The Wench will fuel the broomstick on Thursday so we've only got another couple of days to find some more terrific NZ caches.
We had to wait a short time for a family to depart before we could make an easy find.
Log signed at 1600hrs.
Thanks again Woolfienz

another nice spot, we were still trying to decifer the clue while walking back to the car after log signed !
Found our first site. Didn't really know what to look for but very fun. So many more to find now.
Took a while but was very well hidden. Well done.
Another place we have been past many times but never veered off the road for a look. Thats what we enjoy most about caching.
Nice beach.

Must have roared past this place heaps of times but never turned off the main road, so thanks for taking us here. TNLN.
I always love the sea - its different everyday. Some people use this as a resting place for dead Christmas trees. TFTC #984
"Just one more cache" thought we would finish here today before we ended up in Hanmer! TFTC.
Out on a maintenance run and stopped here on the way home. Blowing a gale. Quick find then log and was about to leave when I spied a pencil on the ground. Now where did that come from? In the cache it went just in time before muggles came up from the beach. TFTC

2nd cache find on today's little Boxing Day jaunt up the coast. Just as warm here as at Amberly Beach - 28 degrees. Thanks for the cache.
Several campervans parked in the layby however luckily no muggles about. Cache well hidden and dry, TFTC
No dogs tied up today, infact very quite.GPS all over the place but after a bit of a hunt we found it.Left a Purple Frog.TN TFTC.
Another road that we have never ventured down before. Looks like a cool kids’ playground, which was brought to our attention by a poor black lab tied to a post beside it. We bet that the kids had told the parents that they would take the dog for a walk, but really went out to the playground, and the poor doggie was abandoned while they slid and swang. He wagged his tail quite hopefully when he thought Annie was walking towards him anyhow. As for the cache, PB made a quick find and the cache was nice and dry and all in good order. TNLN TFTC
A nice place to stop on our way to Hanmer Springs, easy find. Took earings Left key ring.TFTC
Took a friend with us who started the day as a muggle but is now a confirmed cacher. Quick find and then went for a walk along the beach on a warm sunny spring day. TFTC
Good fun at the playground, then down to the beach to build a castle and collect shells and driftwood. Pity the wind was strong today.
A nice day at the beach with a slight sea breeze searching for a cache. What could be better?
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Good day to visit the beach. Lots of sunshine and huge waves. Very clever hide-took a bit of searching. Spring must be on the way....I saw a Monarch Butterfly! TFTC
Last for the day on a trip to Christchurch from Nelson. We had intended to do this on our last trip to Chch so it was good to do this today. no time to walk but would be nice in summer. TNLN TFTC
Hardly anyone about, just a few hardy souls and I braving the wintry conditions. Obviously would be a great spot in summer.
No trouble with the find, TFTC

After two longer walks we went for the 'drive by option'. Easy find on a nice winter day with fog in the North and clear skies in the South. TFTC
Nice veiw of the beach which would have been a little better in summer but a nice easy find for a winter cache run.
Final one for the day. Terrific to be able to hear & see the sea while logging. (#488,13/13)
Found at 1330. I had to trust my GPSr and look above my knees at the spot it was showing as GZ. Took about 5 minutes at GZ to find. Very clever and tricky especially with the extra covering that nature has provided. TNLNSL TFTC.
TFTC . Date of my finding is not correct, my gps didn't write it to it's log during my long holiday.
Nice spot for lunch and a break for the kids in the park. Thanks. Took electric guitar, left....crikey, I can't remember. The kids definitely put something in! TFTC.
Muggles near GZ....had a poke...but moved on as I didnt want to give the hide away.
We will be back
We will be back
Familiar area, after doing the BaldEd cycle cache that was once here.

Waht a nice wee village, haven't been in here before. Trust caching to show people around the country side to all the nice wee spots TFTC
My first visit to Leithfield beach - what a very pleasant spot to visit on a warm norwest day. Took a while for the GPS to settle, and after a bit of fossicking in the wrong areas, finally found it. TFTC.
#395 (1/5 of a North Canterbury sweep). Despite living in Chch most of my life, I'd never turned off SH1 to visit Leithfield Beach. Nice to have an excuse to do so. Took us a little longer than it probably should have, but we got there in the end. TFTC.
Quick and easy find, had a bit of fun with the swing in the trees. Great view but cold wind. TFTC TNLN
Nice stopping at beaches we usually zip past on our visits to Christchurch took nothing left flower hairclip thanks for the cache
Nice cache and nicely placed in 2nd place i looked but had to start in the easiest first Thanks for the cache.

A nice quick find in the dark on the way back to Christchurch. Literally walked right up to the cache. Cheers Gav [2256]
One of the locals approached me when I pulled up in the car in order to check that I wasn't a robber - it seems that they've had a few prowlers in the area at night.
I explained about geocaching and she showed me a shortcut to get through to the beach.

A pleasant spot although the GPS had us a spot about 10m away that looked good. Found easily enough in the end.
Found this cache on the way back from Kaikoura today, Bronnie and I came across another friendly geocaching family out enjoying them selves great to see, Cheers Bo
Andre and I were heading back to Nelson so we really had to stop and find this recently placed cache. Mordor located and Andre found, then Andre insisted we go exploring the Dunes. After that it was slides and see-saws, then I had to insist we had a bit of traveling to do. Cheers we had fun.
2212. This had come up while Rodney was away at a conference so we met at the nearby cafe and then proceeded to find this cache before heading home. A quick find - accurate coordinates.
Took the TB.
Thanks

Well, you knew it wouldn't take long - Grandalf's back in town after a 190-caches in a fortnight trip!! Of course, I'm not addicted!! But after sitting inside with my geriatric slippers, knee-blanket and hot cocoa(+XXXX) for several rainy days, what else would I do on a great sunny day? Go get an FTF, of course. The beach was lovely today, but my GPS was wandering around all over the place under the trees. Some will find it easily (lucky?), and others might think the Difficulty rating should be higher. So of course, I hid it again as best I could. Left the Hero TB. Many thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1347)
