I have removed the final container as I will be reusing it elsewhere. I'm holding this location as I have another cache half-complete to replace this one.
Did this one in the morning before the gardens were busy with muggle visitors. Was made a bit easier with a hint from my brother (Team_Gaters) but still enjoyed the find. Lovely gardens. T4TC.
Great spot for a multi. Mr Gaters played a lot in this park as a wee fella...nice to come back with the
family and have a wander. Bogans having a gathering in the 'new' pagoda made life difficult but we still
managed to gather the info required. Nice one. We felt we just 'had' to complete this before it was
archived!

Loved the challenge of this cache! Great fun. Geo-nana doing her first cache enjoyed it very much too. Was ably assisted by geo-poppa and geo-baby. Took Highway Patrol travel bug and will take back to Queensland with us to place in a cache there. Thanks for the great cache!
Thinking of archiving this one at the end of March 2011 to make way for a less involved multi
finally finished this cache after getting the final WP wrong! great to finish today's caching event with an extra cache under our belt! took travel bug. TFTC

Enjoy our visits to these gardens with different caches over last few years - this was no exception ( even last weeks visit in the pouring rain lol even got to look at the orchids this time - pleased to have found enough plaques to do some lateral figuring and Stretch0 came up trumps with the extraction of the evidence so with the case presented the court declared the cache guilty !!! lol thanks for the cache signed the log Stretch0 dropped in TB
Wandered around the park in the rain a week ago getting info for this cache. At home we (niteowlnz) sat and worked through the information and worked out all our info, although we did manage to miss a sign or two we felt we had enough to go on. Back into town today (with new GPS) and after a careful look about the cache was sighted but extraction was a bit more dificult as a muggle was watching. Finally managed to extract when she was distracted. Enjoyed this even with weather frustrations and was happy to complete it before the event in the same area. TFTC
1620hrs Didn't manage to get all the clues however thinking like a blagger in someones home 'now where would they hide the stuff'. Are there it is grab it before the peelers get us and give us free room and board as guests of Her Majesty.. The Italian Job was here......! Our blog www.motorhominginxs.blogspot.com
Out for a romantic walk with Mrs Teapot - what better place than these beautiful gardens? "Oh, by the way Dear, there's a cache here somewhere, and I just happen to have the details in my pocket..."
A fun little puzzle. Thanks. Left T/B.

Took us 3 turns to find this cache.... This is one of the closest to home so we thought it would be a good start. Didn't have gps or notes... Noticed there was a geocoin here from previous comments.. Picked up tonight after working throught the clues. Picked up our first geo coin. "Breakfast Buddies Geocoins"
4369 We stepped up to the Bench, and successfully defended ourselves by producing the cache as our evidence. Enjoyed our walk around the gardens collecting the required information. Many thanks.
Nice Good friday cache...and my birthday too!!!!
had to be carful to avoid the muggles having pick-nicks, so used had to choose my moment and use my Sister and her six months old as a "Decoy".
Great fun....
p.s how interesting...the next to find will like us be a FTF geo-coin experience. thats two in a row for this coin ...Golden bay...ahhhh wish we were there....

Found this one easily, dropped of the increasing well traveled Bug...Picked up an alien hitch hiker...but his number seems to be wrong:-(
Dropped off McLondon policeman for a short tour of duty - it seemed the most appropriate cache for him round here
Great fun for 3 lads - even in the rain - very logical spot - but took these youngsters on a merry chase!
Finally completed! Many visits, but I never managed to find more than about 2/3 of the plaques. Got the cache though! TNLN
Very enjoyable quiz and walk around the gardens. Left an alien in the cache. Thanks.
Guilty on all counts! Finally got round to this one last weekend. I really wouldn't recommend Saturdays for this one - round every corner, sprawled on seats & tables or the grass were pairs of tennagers entwined in each other. It got a bit embarassing but got enough clues in the end to solve it but still couldn't retrieve it with all the activity. So went back yesterday - same thing. But all was good today. Thanks for another interesting cache (550)
Solved about 90% of this a few days ago but combinations of bad weather and muggles prevented logging this until today. Found and logged on the way back home from GC1HBAN. (Two beltfamily caches this morning to make up for the one which is currently frustrating me.) TFTC, Biggles.
2396. We were at this park yesterday to look for an archived cache - yes I know - files not up-to-date do this to you when you are travelling! Anyway we left this one when we saw that we needed a grid and the palm unfortunately doesn't download things like that. So last night we copied out the grid by hand and this morning came to find the cache! We had a fun walk around the gardens enjoying the search. That was an interesting idea for a cache hunt and it worked well.
Again today we were impressed with the number of mothers out enjoying the park with their children - this is great to see.
Thanks
Iris & Rodney

must admit that this cache is the easiest Belt family cache we have done in a long time, it only took us two minutes!! After reading the cache info Mrs Q Moto went straight to ground zero and found the cache. We must have been thinking like the Belt family today! No wandering around the park for the co-ords, just a stroll after the cache find.
Three walks around the park to get three quarters of the answers. Thank goodness it is such a delightful park! Several unsuccessful visits to where we thought the final location was. Totally frustrated that everyone one else has found it soooo easily. Finally had to resort to divine guidance. And yes it is an easy find if you know where!

Found enough clues in 20 minutes to lead us to the spot, but went back later when the picnickers had left. We had our wedding photos taken at the house/garden when it was still owned by the Currie family, who were good family friends. I remember the cream from the hand-milked cow (with a few bugs for extra crunch), playing tennis there, and great times in the extensive gardens/paddocks. It always impressed me that Mrs Currie made such good toffee - her husband was our dentist! TFTC - TNLN.
A rather pleasant afternoon after this morning's rain so thought why not? A very enjoyable walk around (and around) in a beautifully kept area, these gardens have always appealed since I did my first cache here. Didn't quite get all the info but had enough to make an intelligent guess at the rest and the cache was found.
Good multi, many thanks.

A very pleasant stroll around after a long day in front of a computer... A nice change. Took a little while to realise the clues didn't work quite how I thought they would, but then quickly had enough info to zero in on the final location. Very enjoyable! TFTC, TNLN
Found it after our second visit to complete the puzzle. Its such a neat park and a relaxing place to have lunch.
Mrs Sobad had found some of the plaques. Nice afternoon so she and Sobad's sister searched for the rest. Found the cache although still missing a couple of clues. TNLN A lovely day for a walk in the park.
loved the challenge beautiful area. thank you Few muggles around sitting in their cars eating lunch.
Had to go back a second time due to a lot of muggles but the kids had a fun time with the clues. LOL

A complicated wee multi/puzzle that was fun to piece together. Took a little while to collect the necessary info (have to admit we didn't get the last two line but enough to find the cache). Those Buzztasman's sure do get up early, met them there on a very frosty morning. Thanks for the effort that went into constructing this one. TFTC. (Oh and I am hoping the judge will let me off with just a warning)
Up at 6am on a very frosty morning. On the job at 7am. No teenage muggles had survived the chilly night so we were all alone except for the ducks and the Sicon man doing his rounds.
Very clever cache, we enjoyed this one.
Gazumped by KiwiExplorer who arrived when we were 70% done with all the answers done. Grrrr. We continued our search and had the puzzle completed by 8am. Nice big cache full of lots of goodies.
Thanks for a great adventure.

In my defense the Little Explorer's and I collected the clues at 5.30pm last night before we grabbed a pizza for tea. There was never going to be enough time to work out the final location before it got dark so returned this morning to grab the cache. ("Soroptimist" - just to prove I have collected the clues although I'm not sure that this one was necessary unless it was in the last two lines)
Nice One!!!!!!Always great to return to the location of our very first cache hide. (Not the same GZ as this one) Always a good feeling to get a FTF; however, when the lawn was covered in white and there was a very real threat of hypothermia, frostbite and pneumonia, surrender to others held far greater appeal. Great little puzzle and hiding spot. Clever!!!! Thanks
Your Honor, I Mr Kiwi Explorer do solemnly swear that I shall not visit the said gardens during the hours of darkness. I promise to be both reticent and prudent in my retrieval and replacement of the said cache. I also pledge never to go drinking nor pashing anywhere near this park. Now what shall I do while I wait for daybreak.
Sunrise 7:24 am. Of course, we should expect there will be no pashing nor drinking at 4 or 5 am?
