Out and about today exploring Bundaberg. What a beautiful place down by the river. Thanks for placing this cache here for me to find. All good here. TFTC.
Met up with fellow geocachers to do a few caches after work. This one has been on our radar for a while and its nice to tick it off. Tftc.
Taking a walk through BBerg this afternoon. We're here for a few days staying at the marina. Lovely weather
We had lunch in the R.S. L. After lunch, we walked down and signed this log. Another great spot to view the river. Tftc
In Bundaberg for a weekend of Dog Shows there was time between the Swimsuit and Talent components for a cache or three So, I may not exactly give it my full attention and there may not be a swimsuit section, but theres definitely something called confirmation But without Pom Poms my cheering really is lacklustreToday is all about the T.A.F. Series and anything else that I step overThanks youngoldfella
Today, my geocaching journey began at the given coordinates, leading us to the initial stage. After decoding clues and solving puzzles, I unveiled the coordinates for the next stage. I embraced the challenge of finding the second stage. The landscape tested our geocaching skills, making the discovery even more rewarding. At the final stage, I uncovered the hidden gem. The cache container was cleverly concealed, blending seamlessly with the surroundings. It was a moment of triumph as we signed the logbook, leaving our mark on this multi-cache adventure.I extend my gratitude to the cache creator for crafting an engaging and thought-provoking multi-cache. The journey was filled with excitement, and I look forward to more geocaching adventures ahead.Happy Caching!
With the puzzle solved and final coords loaded I walked across the bridge and along to GZ where the cache was spotted not quite as per the hint but easy to locate. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks youngoldfella for the puzzle and cache.
A nice, simple multi and an almost as simple find! As noted in previous logs, the hint isn't 100% accurate any more but it's still pretty easy to find. Thanks for find #5099TNLN
After finishing work, I headed home to load my caching stuff. For a weekend at Bundaberg. This one was the first cache on my list. I found the cache rather easily especially looking at the right angle. Log signed and replace back. Now time to head back to the free camp. Youngoldfella thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.
Visiting Bundaberg from Sydney and out for an early morning walk. Mrs Gaztek was of two minds last night as she approached this puzzle but with close atTENtion the coordinates soon surfaced. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
Our mission today was to find a multi. As we needed to visit Bundaberg, this multi was the one we chose.
Prepared with the solved coordinates we soon made a quick find. Cache and contents were in good order.
Many thanks youngoldfella, for your cache placement, which allowed us to complete our task today

Australia
A country that has fascinated me for a long time. But the distance to get there was just as great as the desire to drive there. So it was dreamed but not implemented.
But then our friend nalfion moved again. And this time to Down Under. That gave the go-ahead to plan a little more firmly for the first ideas and fantasies. The bosses were asked about a longer vacation and then we went to the travel agency with our rough ideas.
For such a complex thing we wanted to have support. And after a few appointments there, the basic structure was in place.
During our summer holidays we went to Sydney via Singapore, where we spent 2 days. 2 days in Sydney city and then we went with a small camper van with the whole family via Katoomba to Cairns. Our friend lives in Adelaide so ended up staying there for a few more days at the hotel before heading back to Germany without any lengthy stops via Melbourne and Singapore.
A wonderful holiday that at least brought us a little closer to this huge country and gave us many great memories.
Our friend stayed with us for a few days in the middle of our trip. But tomorrow morning he had to get back home by train/plane starting in Bundaberg.
So we had a nice and relaxing day at the beach in Bargara (and did some caching) and went to the Bundaberg Barrels afterwards for a a "drink", and than a little stroll through Bundabarg.
Thanks for the cache.

On a holiday trip to Bundaberg we stopped at various places to stretch our legs, meet new people, grab solved puzzles, complete Adventure Labs, Wherigos, multis, answering questions for Earthcaches & Virtuals. This is one of them.
Solved this one at home before my trip but on the hunt for the cache it wasn't where I first looked. But found it in the next place I looked
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache youngoldfella

After sorting out the coords I headed over to GZ. Spun around in circles for a while and read the last log.
Spotted the cache. Must have been moved as it’s now a bit higher and not ABOT Close enuf to coords tho.

After some much needed rest we decided to stay put in and around Bundaberg to grab some caches and do a little exploring.
We managed to work out the numbers for this one at a previous cache then made our way over. We parked the car at 0 and there was nothing that matched the hint, so we wandered over to the next possible spot, nothing! Checked elsewhere and spotted the hide not where the hint suggests.
Thanks for bringing us here.

We got the final co ordinates while having lunch and then picked this up while we were doing an Ad Lab. Tftc YOF
A multi we could do the original work for from home. We have never been so prepared! Spotted it nice and quickly on arrival at GZ.
After spending very enjoyable and relaxing week at Woodgate Beach with some of our family it was time to move on to Bundaberg today. We hung around for the park egg & bacon sandwich breakfast and then set out on the 50 odd km trip to get here. Picked up a couple of caches on the way.
We forgot to have lunch after setting up before heading into town to attempt a number of Adventure Labs and traditional caches we encountered on the way. This included a few puzzles we had solved in advance and a multi or two.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

What a difference a day makes. The good weather is back and a lovely outlook from GZ. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

I think this cache more fits the Mystery type rather than Multi though.

A trip north with the girls to visit some friends. After a great night catching up we then headed to the flourish festival in the park , the girls loved playing on all the rides and so forth.
For me it was time to get around and do some puzzle solving. This one took a little time to get together but I soon had a solution. We all headed over and the find was very easy. so happy to get another old cache ticked off the list.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache, with the log signed and the cache returned as found we were then off to another oldie in the area.

Seeing this multi on our maps, Konie and i decided to attempt it. Calculations were made and we were soon heading off to GZ. There, my caching buddy made another find (not where indicated by the hint). ( I am pleased he is with me today, making such short work of our finds.) With our names added to the log and everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
In Bundaberg and Bagara today with Selva Girls to pick up a few new lab caches and a few other caches along the way and this was one of them.
Once at GZ we looked at what needed to be done. We then did the sums and headed off to our new GZ and the cache was soon in hand. Log signed and all returned as found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy.

A weekend in Bundy with & Mamma bear & her 3 Cubs. Picking a couple of caches Friday night on the way up.
Saturday was jam packed with fun Bundy locations (not including the distillery this trip ).
Our journey included a quick stop at this one.
Surprised that more logbooks weren’t Very soggy, some more than others & a couple bone dry.
Thanks to all the CO’s in Bundy, especially Youngoldfella who allowed us a peak into his man cave .

The Mega has been and gone and we had so much fun meeting with friends. Now we've turned south towards home but we're still finding caches and great camps along the way. Staying at Bundaberg today, the road north west of the Lowmead Pub is closed due to flooding.

Found as I meander my way from Adelaide to Cairns.
With no real travel plan and three weeks to get there before I meet up with friends, there has been plenty of opportunity for sightseeing and finding a few selected caches along the way.
The final coordinates for this cache were quickly worked out then, after a bit of searching around, the cache was discovered - but not where the hint suggested (ie - it was ON the street side; NOT at ground level; and NOT A.B.O.T.). But then again, I guess its not really a multicache either.
Thanks youngoldfella for the cache.

Our caching partners for today were the Snake Pitters.
In the afternoon hubby had to visit a bike shop, so he road his bike here & found the cache.
Noticed this now had a puzzle attached, solved one evening at happy hour.

Saturday morning, up early and off caching. At Bargara for the week-end with MIL & her friends. Headed off the Bundy to look for a for non-trad caches. Stopped to look for this one on the way back from the North side of bundy. Had to re-read desription to remember waht was going on and turns out I wasn't so far away, so walked.

Finally after two weeks being unexpectedly detained in Mackay we are on the road heading south, at least the weather has now cleared . Stopped last night in Mt Larcom
Naturally a stop or two, or more along the way but sadly my travel list is being shortened as we are two weeks behind our schedule plus I’m currently the only driver so a lot harder to get in/out as fast
After solving this prior to our visit it was a nice quick find at GZ since I parked only six metres away

I'd dropped mum (Lennondayz29) off at the rum factory, AKA parental day care, and before I know it the tour's over and I'm being requested to come pick her up! Definitely not good enough!
Anyway, while waiting for her, over a chocolate milkshake, I had a quick look at this and thought 'well that's straightforward '... except the checker was being most rude and suggesting I was wrong!
After trying some other ideas I was back at the start and thinking I was going to have to ask for some help from a previous finder. Luckily my * facepalm * moment came before I could ask for any help, so I've dodged the inevitable mockery that would have ensued! TFTC

On a caching road trip - from Brisbane, we are my daughter Dez (JezNDez) et moi, fresh from the fields of France and nothing like as experienced at caching as Dez.
So, having completed the Bundy Rum Tour whilst Dez was finding another cache or two, she joined me at the distillery to ‘help’ me with my freebies of rum.
We sat there with this puzzle which simply wouldn’t come out, until Dez had a ‘Eureka’ moment - and there was the solution. Easy when you know how.

Using the updated description we had plotted a GZ before we arrived in town. We were staying in the hotel right next door so I couldn’t stay awake at night letting this cache haunt me.
My wife and I made a fitness rule which didn’t last long but it did last for our night in Bundy. Basically every 10,000 steps we did earned you a glass of wine. We got about 15,000 steps so we had a glass of wine at dinner but this cache was at the start of our walk so wine wasn’t on our minds yet and we hadn’t qualified. Snap! I’m already looking for a loophole. tftc

TFTC. We were having issues locating WP1. There did to appear to be anything matching the hint. Wilth the help of the CO we were able to find the final GZ. Good views across the river . Thanks YOF.
I found the clues at the first waypoint on a previous visit - it must have been just after hayleydylan, as I remember that they'd stuck a piece of paper into the first waypoint container and called it a "find". Ah, noobs can be so amusing .
I solved the nice little puzzle soon after, but have only just now returned to Bundy to finish the cache. Found myself back in a familiar location, and soon spotted the container. Now the madness can finally stop.
TNLN - Thanks youngoldfella!

Grrr seems we picked the busiest road to camp on....
And so with a slow start to the morning we headed out to find a few caches.
Thanks for helping us with our tour of Bundaberg. We were actually here yesterday but not thorough enough with our
search.

A geocaching roadtrip is an amazing thing. It takes lots of preparing, planning and pre puzzling to ensure time on the road is maximised. I have to say I exhibited none of these attributes as we readied ourselved for this roadtrip. I was fortunately joined by the energizer bunny (seffnjarah) and the Square Jawed Mountain Man (Crookedpete) who both like to prove how capable they are as the alpha males of the Bromance. While there is often much chest beating and tantrums, we manage to remain positive and end up with a good plan of attack.
We set off on Friday lunch time (so CP had time to make himself pretty) and returned late Sunday nigh, traveling some 2000klms, approx 70 caches of varying D/T Ratings, in just on 54 hours. Sadly there were a few DNF's (which some of the team took harder than others), but we saw many different cache styes, and some amazing places. Thanks to all the CO's who placed these caches for us to find.
With only a light rain about it was a hurried search at the waypoint after parking in totally the wrong spot. With the info to hand we knew it would take a bit of work, so stopped for dinner and worked it out. Three heads are better than one, and we soon had our answer that passed the checker. We went back on our retutn from Bagarra and picked up the cache with excellent coords. Thanks for the fun.

I love a good roadtrip.
It has been far too long since Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus and I did stupid things a long way from home. So, a Bromance caching road trip from Brisbane to Rocky & Yeppoon and a few ports (and mountains) in between was planned. The well planned though overly optimistic caching itinerary included miscellaneous mind bending puzzles, half a dozen or so of Queensland's Oldest caches, a few wee hill climbs, a healthy selection of unloved caches and other interesting caches along the way including this one.
On the way through town heading towards Bagara, we stopped to take a look for waypoint 1. The climb up the embankment from the lower carpark increased the terrain a bit. A few minutes searching by torchlight and we had secured the necessary information. A muggle at the nearby establishment called out asking what we were looking for, but we pretended not to hear and headed off.
Over dinner, at Bagara we solved the final location and driving back through town, the cache was a quick find. Many thanks youngoldfella

It's been 2 years since the Bromance undertook a geocaching road trip, the last being down to Gloucester NSW back in March 2015. With the blessings of our respective spouses received (mine seemed rather keen to get rid of me for the weekend) we headed off Friday lunchtime for a whirlwind trip to Yeppoon and back with a lengthy target list of caches including this one. With rain having fallen for most of our journey so far, we seemed to have some incredible luck with the rain stopping just before arriving at GZ. We didn't park in the easiest spot to access GZ but made it there safely. A short hunt in the dark and we located the set of clues for the final. A muggle having a smoke on the balcony of the RSL called out to ask us if we needed help but we just pretended to be searching the trees for possums and walked away back to the car. We drove to Bagara to find a couple of other caches and over dinner there we nutted out the information required to find the final. On the return trip we called in to our calculated final GZ and it didn't take long at all for the cache to be located safe and sound. TFTC
After the headache of trying to work out a set of coordinates, ending up with three sets, I checked the first point which gave me a clue I may be looking in the right spot. After about 5 minutes of looking around I finally had cache in hand.
I also noticed I am the first to sign since the 16th of May last year, which makes me even prouder to find this as I now believe more recent finds posted are for WP1, not the actual cache.
Thank you for this one, it was a very worthwhile hunt and knowing I can do a puzzle like this makes me more confident to take on the many challenges that geocaching still has in store for me.

Special thanks to youngoldfella for offering help. Didn't need it but glad to know it was available.

Found WP1 quite easily, and since then I have spent 5 hours trying to work out where GZ is. Google is not helping.....
Any clues apart from those above?
Either way I am not giving up, but I have been ordered to stop trying for now before I break things LOLz!

New geofriends. thanks for the cache
Found the first one easily last week, and tried to find the co-ordinates for the second cache from the clues. Thought I had it, then asked youngoldfella where I went wrong, with a bit of help second cache was soon in geosons hands
Found the first cache so very easily, now to work on the clues for the co-ordinates for the next part of the micro madness
We did it after long and exhausting 20 minutes in the sun! Don't forget your sunscreen

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area today. We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our caravan park and then took a route mainly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]
