Hmm - I have lost count of the number of times I have trecked up and down this hill. Finally had a GPS with the co-ordinates in, so thought I would do a few. TFTC!
Well hidden. Great hide along an awesome drive. Would not recommend
2wd vehicles at the moment. Goodies swapped, SL, TFTC.

By now, on our A Break trek, we had found out what it was all about! Took the humps very carefully in our low clearance veh, and went down one stretch that I reckon was the steeepest downhill run I've ever driven. Somewhere about here, geoson Huge Red Machine let out a shriek of delight as he spotted an echidna by the side of the road. Stopped and had a chat. Picked up TB Bug Uno, which appears to just be a tag (...?) Didn't see any geocoin. TFTC Steve & Family.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 11:34am. This is the first time we have done any serious 4x4 work in the new Prado (well not new but new to us) and it traveled those huge hills with ease. It was the driver and passenger who didn't know whether it could make it, not the car. Out: TB. TFTC
another one bites the dust, speaking of which there was heaps of it.....................nice

Decided to try out the "Dirty Weekends" book and do a few caches in Mt Mee today. Dont have a 4wd, so we took the trusty 2wd and had a crack at "A Break".... unfortunately, the gate into the state forest at Laceys Ck rd is locked, so we had to turn around and enter via Peggs Rd and head south to Dianas Bath Rd and then onto A Break. I was told A Break was a tough track, but my 2wd managed with ease....

Thanks Steve and Family for putting caches out along this route for us all to enjoy. It is always nice to do a journey and to get a few caches under your belt. The views from this area were awesome, however the sun was so bright, it didn't allow the tag along Pommies to take any photos. They wer e impressed with the "Steep Drop". Quick find for us .. TFTC .. eatmorchikin, Stigglepot, Tommy the Tit (UK) and The Bear (UK).
We found this while visiting the area with family visiting from the south. Kids swapped toys.
We grabbed Hgsd's World Travel Geocoin.
We didn't see Civil War Geocoin #1 Fort Sumter in the cache.

We'd not been down this track before.

Out on a nice bright and sunny day with the Wingman. Nice to be rewarded with a cache or four on this drive.. TFTC
Well this puts a whole new meaning to up hill and down dale in the pursuit of caches.
A most enjoyable day. It my first visit to this part of the world or should that be my first 4x4 experience in this part of the world. Either way it was a great day out
Many thanks to Rastas for the invite and Nasty Steve & family for placement of caches along this great track.
This is the best way to spend a day off. So far there hasn't been another vehicle on the track. Maybe they all went to the Ekka. SheGecko is loving the fact that we have racked up 3 *FTF* in a row. TFTH
If 'A' is for Effort, we got a 'D'. We had hoped to be the first to log but it was not to be so! When we were past this way one weekend a few weeks back, there were no cars to be seen but today, it was like Queen Street, but don't let that make you think the track is easy unless you have some experience, especially in the wet.
