Easy enough find but the container was full of slugs so I hope a photo suffices. Found with CatCasper.
Thinking about the hint I was trying to imagine why I need to walk sideways, but it all made sense in the end.
Staying in Portland for a much needed break. Heading to Nelson for the day. Thanks for the cache placement
A long weekend away geocaching with +Wife and EveTheStaffy in the Southwest.Well, no doubt this one has seen better days.A quick find here today as we stop to let EveTheStaffy out for a run around.
What a gloomy Saturday morning it was as we set off for our little interstate holiday for the weekend. We were lucky enough between breaks in the rain to quickly get out of the car and go have a search of some close by caches along our travels. Thanks for placing for us to find today
Adelaide to Brisbane the long way.Day Two: Millicent to MelbourneWeather: blue skies but still cold with showers. First cache in Victoria, and over 15 years old too.I imagine that there has been a lot of variation in the graffiti over the years. Fortunately the cache has survived all the passing artists and is still in workable condition even if one of the outer layers has been squashed somewhat. Cant say that the hint really helped me, but turned out that I didnt need it.Thanks for this hide BlindShambles.
Catching up on caches found whilst returning from AdelaideMany thanx to the owners of the trads, multis, virtuals and earthcaches found on the wayCache found in good conditionNot a fan of modern art!!

This came up as a potential on WikiCamps but decided there were better spots to stop, but nice to grab a cache here
Thanks BlindShambles for placing this cache and contributing to this great game. Happy trails, Deanside
Despite the fact that there had been a lot of clearing of shrubs the cache was still in it’s hidey hole. TFTC.
Found on our road trip from Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road to Goolwa SA
On a camping road trip to the Grampians, Mt Gambier and surrounding areas. We are now camping at Fort O,Hare Camping Ground in Dartmoor and today we were exploring the local area, including a trip down to the nearby town of Nelson stopping to locate this cache on the way. Once in the vicinity of GZ it didn't take Mr Pooky long to make the find. TFTC, the information and bringing us to thus spot. TNLN

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.

A quick little find on our way to Mt Gambier. Coordinates were a bit off and the container was smaller than we expected. Tftc
Found with Trouble&Co while heading to Mount Gambier for a swim with the little Troubles
I have been Geocaching for the last year as part of team Dromaniax. We have enjoyed the Geocaching caching around a lot of Victoria in that time. From our first trip up to the Murray River, the next trip to Lake Eildon and the area around Buxton, an epic trip to the Little Desert to attack the This is SA series, then a great trip with our father to the High Country in Victoria, a trip to the Mornington Peninsula and a trip to the Albury-Hume Reservoir area.
I finally decided to set up my own account and am claiming all the caches I have found as part of Dromaniax.
Thank you for this Traditional cache BlindShambles

We nearly missed this one as we were watching a number of emus disappearing into the plantation. Once we concentrated on what we were here for, it was found with no problems. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
We were lucky when we approached this cache as we managed to be able to watch a few emus taking a stroll. Not in any hurry at all. Thanks for this cache.
Understood the hint when found.

I found this cache on a caching adventure out west by myself. Testing out the new van to see how it goes as a camper.
Today I would start at Baileys Rocks campground, where I camped last night and drive down through Casterton and Dartmoor to Nelson before quickly ducking over the border to SA, then heading back East to find camp at Sawpit Free campground near Portland.
Not sure what the hint means but I found it in the obvious spot with good coordinates.

Plans had been made for a weekend away to find the This is SA series of caches in Little Desert. We had planned that AusFox;, Sims_family and my muggle brother. Unfortunately for AusFox;, caught the dreaded Vids and wasn't up to the weekend. So my muggle brother and I headed off for a long weekend of camping and caching. Given we camped at Eight Mile last night it seemed appropriate to visit Nine Mile. We made a nice quick find here. The cache is in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache BlindShambles.
On way to Nelson from Nhill. Quickly stopped. I had a great time finding your cache BlindShambles, thank you so much for placing it.
Some great looking art , even had a cache guardian ( The Skeleton ) watching over us
SL at 11:50am. Nice overcast morning for cache hunting with DarthVader69. An easy find for a change. Pity there is so much rubbish around here. Definitely some interesting non-family friendly 'modern art' here. Tanks for the cache!
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks BlindShambles (F=373 H=16) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

We came to Portland for the weekend, accompanied by The Tritonz and Micaparamedic (in separate cars of course), with the main goal being the GSWW and the Wind Turbine Geoart. However today was for a driving tour around this area between Portland and Nelson. Despite the rain, we really enjoyed the beautiful scenery around here and it was the best use of a rainy day. TFTC BlindShambles
On the way from Portland to Port MacDonnell for a geocaching event I chose a cache at a loft suitable for a mid journey break. This fitted the bill perfectly. The stop stood out amongst the felled trees as rather bare with some trees behind the tanks. The cache’s outer container is crushed and looking very much the worse for wear. It inside one is in fair condition and still serviceable.
After paddling down the Glenelg River we stopped to pick up some caches on the way back home
Found this one fairly quickly

On our way back from a quick visit to Nelson cache is in good condition, a cute wallaby was protecting it.

I visited this cache with FeatherWaite on day 3 of a caching trip from Adelaide to south-western Victoria/south-eastern South Australia.
After a warm, but reasonable morning, the weather turned nasty with very hot and windy conditions until a cooler change very late in the afternoon. With fire and travel warnings also being received via automated SMS’, we had to alter our plans and were not able to visit a number of the caches that we had initially targeted. Nevertheless, we did manage to find a selection of traditional, multi, virtual, unknown and earthcaches.
This was a quick find as we headed west after camping near Portland the previous night.
Thanks BlindShambles for the cache.

Found during a caching trip with e.gregory1 to south-western Victoria and south-eastern South Australia for a few days. Day 1 saw us travel from Adelaide to Keith, the back-roads past Bordertown to Frances, Edenhope, Harrow, Coleraine, Wannan, Hamilton, Byaduk, Koroit and down to Warrnambool. That night we camped out behind the coastal dunes west of Warrnambool after collecting a sprinkling of local caches. On day 2 we returned to find a few caches around Tower Hill before heading through Port Fairy to Portland, spending the rest of an unpleasantly hot and windy day around Portland and camping out nearby. On day 3 we drove from Portland to Nelson with a detour to Dartmoor, then back to Ewen Ponds, Port MacDonnell, and a circuitous route up to Mt Gambier with a solid days' caching culminating in some rewarding finds around the Blue and Green Lakes. We were very lucky to locate a very pleasant campsite a few kilometres out of town in Xanthorrhoea (grass tree) mixed eucalypt woodland for the night. The final day saw us travel to Millicent to complete the SFE Challenge series, then to Kingston, Salt Creek, Meningie, Tailem Bend, Murray Bridge and return back home. All in all a very eventful and fruitful trip with some great cache finds, some easy drive-bys, challenging tree climbs, a number of strenuous walks and visits to many scenic locations. We found an assortment of traditionals, puzzles, multis, earthcaches, letterboxes and virtuals, including a rewarding first-to-find, a wide range of difficulty-terrain combinations and detours to locate some unloved caches.
Thanks for the cache BlindShambles!

#1695 Day 4 of the Great Vic Bike Ride ( Mt Gambier to Portland - 109km). This was the big day of riding. Geo-son beat me to this spot and was lucky with his timing. Whilst retrieving the cache a black 4wd Ute went flying past almost sideways on the dirt track before going around the corner and off into the distance. (Suspect he was taking the dirt track so he didn’t have to 60km/h on the road the cyclists were on...) Cache was located. TNLNSL. TFTC BlindShambles.
On our long drive to Make a break we took this cache. Greatings from Switzerland
A quick stop here, love how the new container is in the middle of the old swashed one
A great day out today, I headed from Ballarat to Mt gambier by some funky route, well any normal geocaching route really. With 4 events lined up with one being a CITO, they made cursor for when I needed to be at certain locations otherwise it was free roam. Overall a good day out with nearly 500km driven and almost 50 caches found

School holidays means a geocaching road trip for Team Clarmensma (me, becca85 and our 4 geokids - AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 and boo09). This time we headed west to Mount Gambier for a few days of exploring. Over the 3 days we did lots of kilometres travelling from Ballarat/Maryborough across to the Mount and then back via the Otways. We really appreciate all the teams who put caches out for us to find as without you there would be no geocaching! So many many thanks!

Day 4 of our honeymoon trip in the caravan as newlyweds. What else do you do on a honeymoon but go geocaching as husband & wife of course, and camping too.
After leaving Portland's 50km/hr wind behind as it was shaking the caravan and our sleep, we left for Nelson @ 5:40am. In the dark misty rain , log trucks blinding, dodged the roos , found the d/t on about 5 secs flat in the dark with a torch @ 6:37am (night cache #6). Cool easy cache. Container smashed but log fully dry in other container. Pen don't work.
