Logs
Cache has gone missing frequently and it is to far off my traveled path to maintain so Ill let someone else place one here.
logs didnt look positive, and nor did a wee search, although we didn't give it much effort what with having to wait for muggles to clear off, and the tummy rumbling the mind into a state incompatiable with caching... friendly muggle along for the ride also unsuccessful.. (has an uncanny ability for putting fingers on them...)
apart from 2 carloads of dopesmoking foreigners (wonder how many cars are being driven on our roads under the influence?), the cache does indeed seem well and truly muggled. Pity, as this is possibly one of the best "stop for a view and a cache" caches that could possibly be.
searched and searched.....and searched. 2 carloads of dopesmoking foreigners stopped puffed and left not sure if they even looked at the view, but alas no cache. Sidenote, I wonder how many cars are being driven under the influence of marijuana?
DNF. Good place for a CITO. Evidence that the cache may have been taped and muggled??
Had been here months ago and was unable to find due to it being muggled. Was a little worried it was missing again, when I spotted the hide. Thanks again for the hide.
Home ward bound after a busy caching weekend with Rustynz, cache number 38 so far. Took my friendly moo cow for a country outting Tftc.
Arrived at GZ and what do we find but three traffic patrol bikes parked up. We stop anyway and it turns out that one of them lives a couple of Km's away from where we live near Wellington. We wait them out and they soon leave. Quick find and off again. TFTC.
We found this cache on a 2 week trip around Northland, visiting such locations as Opononi, Kaitaia, Cape Reinga, Russell, among many other places. TFTC
Been up here several times but didnt know there was a cache. Great opportunity to go back and enjoy the view. TFTC
Found caching in the area with funkymunkyzone after walking the Mount Auckland Atuanui Walkway. The cache wasn't quite where I expected but FMZ pointed me in the right direction. Completed the newly invented "11% squeeze challenge" twice here too (just)!
Thanks!
Thanks!
Pulled up to get a photo of the gorgeous view. Decided this would be a good place for a cache, checked gps (nothing), do thought we'd put one here. Checked the phone just incase and low and behold there was one here already....of course there was! Tftc
Bei unserm Neuseeland Urlaub auch hier vorbei gekommen... Gesucht und gefunden! Tolle Gegend hier...!!!

Up in Paihia for a long weekend celebrating my lovely wife, Stella's, birthday. Grabbing a few caches along the way...
I think the hint needs updating as the indicated marker is definitely not there any more.
Find #424. Thanks for the cache. 28/04/2014 16:00

Seen as the 11% sign has now gone I have updated the hint to something that should work now.
As our clue 11% lay vertical on other side of fence we had to use our caching intuition and guess what?? We found it!! Great spot, great views, thanks.
Looked almost ererywhere but couldn't find it. That took long time because in between we had to stop several times when tourists arrived. .-(
Good clue quick find and lovely views. TFTC

Staying with family down the road, this was a quick drive after dinner. Understanding the hint after a quick U-turn really helped. The cache was found no problem. No muggles around and a little time was spend enjoying the view. TFTC. This spot was so windy the last time I was here, we were barely able to stand.
Busy place today but not as difficult as for Spiderhouse . Did not work out the hint until I was pulling away.
Got em only by knowing the distance to the parking car. Great view-point! [^]

We found the container on the ground and replaced it where we think it belongs. Great view. Found together with LBTW. TFTC from Sweden.
On our way home to Rotorua after a weekend function and four days of Geocaching.
Got to the lay-by and OH NO…a camper, a caravan and a 4WD all parked there. The 4WD left but the others were settling in for lunch. What to do. [?] [?].
Darn it, we are a long way from home and we are not going to miss this. Large amounts of stealth required.
We walked towards GZ and Mrs S spotted it, said to Mr S if you sit there and I stand here and take photos we should be able to retrieve, sign and replace without the lunching muggles suspecting a thing.
When the muggles saw us sitting they said come and sit here with us, there is plenty of room. We politely declined. They continued with their lunch and Mr S successfully retrieved, signed and replaced just as a motorcyclist stopped to make a phone call. Busy place for a Monday.
There was even a frog in the pond just below us which bought back childhood memories when you could be guaranteed to hear frogs all the time.
Thanks Grobyc.

Lots of stealth required today as it is Sunday. All the old bikers and other tourists like ourselves are out enjoying the view on a lovely sunny day. Met a lady from Oregon at the end of her month long trip to Nz. We are half way along on ours and loving NZ!!
This had been our first trip to New Zealand. We spent three weeks here in this amazing country, which is unfortunately quite a short time. We saw a lot of gorgeous places, met very friendly people, could see the different landscapes like deserts, rain forests, glaciers and oceans. And of course animals like Kiwis (never thought that they are so big), dolphins, seals, glow worms, penguins (I love the blue ones). It was hard to say good bye and go back to the winter in Europe.
We hope to come back one time...Greetings from Germany / Switzerland.
On our way back to Auckland we made a stop at this nice lookout. Even there were some muggel sitting at the lookout we were able to find the box without beeing too conspicuous.
Thank you for maintaining the cache.

With a Muggle parking next to the cache, the camera-stealth-mode was required. Fast found @ great outlook. TFTC
Nearly on the way back home we found this little cache at a very nice lookout.

Found as part of my Post Mega northen road trip. Really enjoyed a part of the country I hadn't seen before. Thanks to all those who have placed cacahes to encourage us southerners to come your way!

Out with Vamber for the day to complete the Byte and a Half trail.
Had to stop on the side of the road to confirm directions and to give one of the passengers some fresh air as they were feeling slighlty ill! ironically, not the member of the team who had been out the night before!!!!
Much to our surprise, there was a cache 6 metres away - so we secured it before continuing on our way.

When we came here we knew that NZs roads are steep and curvy, but we didn't expect so much nice views and looking points. But when there's such a point, we try it. And there was this little cache. Thanks for the nice view and the cache!

On our way north to Cape Reinga and were delighted to stop and take in the view. Once we went down around the corner, we spotted baby sheep. A nice spot. TFTC.

We headed North for the weekend and decided to take our time and tour some of the back roads on our way up. A nice easy find here after taking in the great views, TFTC!

Have driven past this spot so many times and not stopped but as we were in no rush decided this cache had to be found. Once our assistant discovered the clue, it was a quick find. Beautiful views with the sun setting over the Kaipara.
Trying again now that new cache is in place. Took a little bit to find. GPSr had me a bit off possibly due to it being almost dark and needing new batteries. Was beginning to wonder if it had gone missing again - so I checked hint.
I was heading South so didn't twig to the hint for awhile. Even then I was still looking for where the description was indicating (under rock). TFTC

Beautiful place that we visited during our roadtrip in far north!
Quick find at GZ under the rain!
Thanks for the cache!

Whoops I though I had disabled it, Sorry.
I do have a trip south I have to do and soon, will check/replace then.

No luck as per a number of previous logs, I suggest it is disabled meantime until CO checks it?
Too many visitors in close proximity to have a thorough search at this one and they wouldn't go away
I think this one is gone. There have been road works near by recently and the grass around retaining wall has been sprayed, and the dying grass shape looks like a rock could have been there, but is no longer.
If it's where we think the clue meant then that post has been hit and pushed sideways.
No luck today. Lots of muggles about and couldn't see anything around the hint and no rocks in sight!
On a drive north/east from finishing the 101 Dalmations series today there was still daylight and energy to find a few more caches. This was one of them. Thanks for placing the cache Grobyc as we'd stopped to admire the view and saw on the iPhone that there was a cache waiting to be found here.
Great view - good picnic spot (although we actually stopped at Mangakura for the picnic - not realising there was a table here). TFTC
[ At 10:30 NZDT with muggles enjoying the view. Using clues only and no GPS,park alongside, quick grab, sign log in car, quick replace and hide and off. More like a 'smash and grab' raid. Even surprised ourselves !!!!!!!! Stone replaced with bark previously !!......Been passed many times but never an opportunity like this.....Thanks... TFTC ]
Muggle truck parked only metres from GZ meant some creative body positioning and deft handwork was required to retrieve the cache. Log was a bit damp so we let it dry as we admired the great views over the Kaipara. One of the Junior Pastamakers managed to replace the cache just in time as two more muggle cars pulled up!

On a day trip up SH16. Had to call back, as too many people about earlier in the afternoon. Awesome views. Quick find. SL. TFTC.
Great view but no luck today. Was trying to find it quickly before the parked muggle finished his phone call.
Good quick find while out on a road trip in the geonut with Rednumb6. Beauti views when the low cloud lifted thanks.
Was on my way north and thought to myself that I would take a little detour before carrying on my way, after doing the cache Dead End, I thought that I would take a small detour and do this cache before carrying on my way north, arriving at GZ there were a few cars parked at the lookout, but by the time that I turned around and parked at the car-park there was only 1 vehicle left as the others had decided to move on their way. After stopping and taking in the view, and realising that the muggle wasn't interested in what I was doing, I managed to find and sign the cache and return it back into it hiding spot without any issues, decided to take a few more minutes to enjoy the view before moving on, what a nice spot for a cache, thanks for bringing me to this lovely spot and placing a cache here, TFTC TNLNSL (3628)
Nice Hide and a good excuse to take the motorbike for a run up hw16
thanks for that!!

It was a lot harder replacing the cache than it was finding it as there were three carloads turned up while I was signing the log. I was thankful for a windy hazy day so they didn't stop for long.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Log was a sodden mess of pulp. Replaced with new sheet of paper in sealed plastic bag so will be OK for many more signatures. Absolutely beautiful views on a clear spring morning. Magnificent!! TFTC and making us stop!
Visiting from California and heading up north while grabbing a few caches along the way. Very nice view from here. We looked in the wrong place at first, but then found the cache. The log is wet, but we managed to get a signature. Thanks for the fun!
14:50 Quick find after having a break from driving. Damp and impossible to sign log. Few people here but didn't have any problems getting the cache. Beautiful spot on a nice spring-like day. TFTC.

Great view! Log very wet. Did'nt have a replacement so used a spare till reciept. T4TC
Came by this way because of an accident on h/w 1 and we were directed to make a large detour. Found with no log, we added replacement. TFTC
On a mission today, caching in the rain, to find some lonely caches (>5km from any other), to meet the requirements of the NZ lonely cache challenge. On finding this cache is 7.3km from any other cache. Talk about a driveby, I could of stayed in the car, rather than getting out in the rain. Nice'n'easy find. Cheers for the cache! 4/10
