Is this coming back anytime soon? otherwise maybe archive it so another can possibly put a cache here? It's a great spot for a cache!!
Had a quick look around but then read the logs and decided it was not in my best interest to find this cache today. I agree with the other guys, perhaps best to rehide it nearby so the re-offending muggle cant spot it
In view of the latest comments will place this one out of action for the time being.
Will replace the cache with a new one close by and hope that the muggles do not spoil the game for the rest of us!

The container definetly needs to be thrown away as this is not the type of log you would expect.

This was my first Caching road trip with the goal of completing 20 caches on my return from Mudgee to Wollongong.
"Boycie" was my 17th for the day.
Unfortunaely the muggles had returned and whilst I found the cache I didn't expect to find that type of "log" inside. It would appear that the Phantom Crapper has returned. Suggest moving it to a new location nearby (say in one of the stumps south of the structure". Still great views.
Suggest - That following cachers don't open the cache unless you have breathing apparatus and gloves
Thanks for your cache, a nice hide and my 17th of 28 for the day.

After two bad logs re the condition of the cache we had to drop through to check!
After "Fannyfanackapan's" temporary maintenance - which we thank you for.
We replaced the log book secured the cache and hope that the muggles don't return.
Happy hunting!

Ok, McPhan and I were still in the area this morning so we've been back and replaced the container and put in a couple of pieces of paper, it'll probably still need some attention soon though.

3273. [green]How the little stinker (and I use the word advisedly) managed to get that in there is too much to contemplate - I hope they got dirty hands or whatever - pigs.
As we pulled up there was a guy filling water bottles and then he walked to the main road where his car had the bonnet up - ooops. FFP made the find but I made the discovery. Binned the original and replaced with a like container.
TFTC and the stop.[/green]

Seriously in need of maintenance or deactivation, it's been vandalised in a most unpleasant way unfortunately!

On my way back to Batemans Bay after a lovely stay in the blue mtns in blackheath, what a magical part of the world.
Thought we might stop in and find this one as we had driven past it nearly everyday while we were up there.
NIce little hiding spot we searched for 10 minutes and as we were strapped for time decided to give it a miss and head on home, just as we turned to walk away BINGO! found the film canister
TFTF was a great way to end my Blue Mtns trip with my GeoGirlfriend.
Oh and rogerw3 I took your little Geocoin its now headed for the south coast of NSW in one of my local caches

Found it without trouble, neat little hide. Nobody there until I was writing the log when a car pulled up, Muggle and friendly dog! They went for their walk so no problems.
Managed to find plenty of room for an Aussie Geocoin TB.
Thanks for the cache, great spot.

I checked out all four..... no luck, so around again.
It was in the first one I looked at, just took me a little longer.

A further search this weekend revealed yet another hiding spot -- perhaps not as good as the one I discovered during my DNF expedition last week, but certainly good enough for the elusive little film canister!
The cache log sheets were dry and in good order. No 'foreign objects' were found in the canister or nearby.
Had a nice view towards the sunset as the temperatures dipped to 8 degrees at the highest point of the Great Western Highway.
Saw only one other car arrive during my visit, an elderly couple heading for the lookout. Very quiet indeed and a good resting or picnic spot if you're traveling the GWH in either direction.
Thanks to ONPATROL for their initial placement of this cache and for their encouragement. Much appreciated.

It's always the last one you try. I figured this was the case when I reached 'number four' and found the obvious 'loose' thingo that revealed a very nice hiding hole. But it was completely empty! More searching around on the 'other three' and then back to 'four' to make sure I hadn't overlooked something, before I decided to give up. Recent logs reported an unsavory 'object' left in the little cache and I humbly but strongly suggest a 'muggling' has occurred here. Will now wait to hear of a successful find or feedback from ONPATROL before I try again.
Nice quick find on a lovely day out geocaching - helps when you have two adults to split the search. Removed an unappealing item from the cache and binned it whilst trying to avoid questions from Master 4 about the balloon that wasn't. Had never found a reason to stop here in the past so thanks for the cache.
This spot now a bit derelict and bypassed, found a makeshift bong during the search and the cache itself contains an interesting appliance that probably should not be in it. Not sure whether or not is had been utilised.
Found this one on the second attempt. Unfortunately did not havea pen to sign.
Was looking at the wrong one of four the first time around.
TFTC. Great Hide.

Like others, I struggled with this one. Perhaps it should be renamed "The sign of four" I certainly felt I would have benefited by having Sherlock Holmes at my side.
Still I blundered through without him. Excellent hide. TFTH

It was the first of the four we searched. Found a few spiders as well as the cache. Nice views from the lookout.
No muggles around today so I could take my time searching. Found it eventually! Nice hide! SL, thanks.
FTF 12:40 with geo-wife, geo-pup and Cattledog-81. Must admit that this one has given me a little grief in the past as I was disrupted searching one morning and twice muggles have been cooking breakfast at GZ. Today no-one around and while I was preparing coffees and nibbles I sent geo-wife off to find the cleverly hidden cache, so now this one crossed off the list! TNLN thanks.
This well hidden micro delayed us enough to meet two young UK cyclists who had just ‘done’ New Zealand, landed in Sydney and were now cycling to Perth.... can you imagine that!!
We were sure that we had found the Bark Tree just next to the cache location until we saw the real one behind its protective railings whilst driving out of the lay by. Thanks for showing us this place.

Loved this one. Pretty lucky today - people just leaving as we arrived and arriving as we were leaving! TFTC.
After years of caching it becomes very easy to spot the rock that doesn't belong. A great hiding spot which would be difficult to retrieve when their were muggles about.

TFTC fortunately the cache had some shelter from the mountain mist. On a good day there would be an excellent view.
Found with a short search. Geoson1 had a quick look and moved on to another spot.Geowife found without to hard a look.TFTC. SL
Lucky I had my micro-expert with me!! TheMiniHunterAged8 had found this one before I had even started looking. Checked out the tree and moved on. Thanks OnPatrol for the cache.

Found by torchlight, which may have actually helped! Didn't help with appreciation of the view though, but not to worry, we'll check it out another time. Staying in Mt Victoria for the weekend while attending a 4x4 driver training course, and we were on our way home after a few caches and dinner in Blackheath; unfortunately this was the last cache of the evening and we were on 999 GC caches. Thanks for the cache ONPATROL.

What a shame they had to cut the scar tree down to preserve it It was pretty cold and windy looking for this cache but our cold little fingers managed to extract it ok
Found with Tramper Ted - the signal was bouncy but we did manage to find it without the hint.
Excellent hide. Interesting bit of history. On our way to Lithgow for the World Masters Orienteering Champs
Found it with Maree on the way to Bathurst 1000. Took a while to find, but Son worked it out. Have not seen a hide like this before very ingenious. Left Cairns key ring TFTC 2nd "On Patrol" cache today.
Busted 2 muggle youths doing what youths do. Sorry.

4.20pm
Credit to Anderka for this find. After a while of searching in the only clear location(s) I cracked it - cold, wet & numb fingers, etc.. so in a (slight) huff, but determined not to be defeated, went back to the car to re-read clues and previous logs to see if I had missed anything.
No sooner was the tingling returning to my fingers (30secs) Anderka opened the car door - "Do you reckon this is it?" and there was the GZ. (Just quietly.. I wonder if she did that on purpose? lol! )
We then took some time to check out the scar tree display. Geez, I love this country!!
TFTC!

I had to contend with another car when I arrived but was able lo locate the general area of the cache before they left. It didn't take long to locate the cache once they had left.
Again falls into the category of been passed a hundred times but never stopped. It was absolutely freezing here this morning, but certinaly did enjoy the hunt. A very nicely hidden cache.

Found by Mary & David at 1150. What a location! Views, old trees, the first colour of wattle, a 'scar tree', several interesting information boards, and a couple of monuments to the Boyce family. All that and a cache too! Our thanks to ONPATROL.

What a wasted area. The views are not exactly brilliant but still worthwhile! It looks like it has been quite a while since this area has been actively used.
Thanks ONPATROL for bringing us here.

After finding another geocache at Mount Victoria and watching the sunset there, we searched for this cache in the dark and using a small led torch we keep in the car. We weren't going to be beaten on this one as it was the last one on the list to be found for the day. After a short hunt around the 4 of them and alot of touching we came up trumps!
The log book was full so I added a small log book to the cache. TFTC

Now which one? Had been here before I thought as I arrived, obviously hadn't found it then. Be careful if you are poking hands on tops of pillars as some have broken glass thereon. But there may be no need to do that anyway.....
Cache #700!
Spent a few minutes looking for possible hiding spots, but soon found it in a spot where we had already looked.

Found by edmil & maddie. Drove right by the turn off for this one but managed to find an alternative track back to GZ. It took quite while for the GPS to settle down and even then it was a bit erratic. We figured on the likely hiding point just had to get it right, well it was maddie who scored this one, damn 2 to none. Log was signed and cache was returned to its hide. Thanks for the challenge.
Following on from Tangles initial search for the Panther, I ventured forth to see if it fallen for his trap.
No signs of its presence, but a local told me that there was plenty of specimens at back near the Nepean River close to the town's sporting facilities.
Signed the log and left a saucer of milk in case it ventured this way again.

No muggles for us to contend with today. We bought one of the Smelly's sisters along for this one and she was happy to take the find. So found by Smelly Boot and Kel.
found it right on sunset. had to wait for muggles to leave before replacing the cache.

This goes down as one of the most bizarre work weeks ever. Last Sunday night I get an urgent phone call from the boss informing me I had been nominated to go find the Lithgow Panther. With the state in a mess and no money for anything important the premier wants to waste money on finding a stupid cat.
Now your all asking what’s this got to do with Tangles, well it wasn’t because of my good looks but more to do with I was the only one in the section who owned a tent.
After spending twenty minutes researching hunting big cats, how to find your lost cat and even how to find pussy. The only things I learned was that Panther sightings where more common around pub closing time and on a full moon. That lost cats will often come home for food and that third book wasn’t about cats.
So armed with twelve cans of Whiskers and a can opener it was off to find the Lithgow Panther. This being the first stop I just left a small portion of Whiskers in the cache to entice the beast.
So if anyone spots a large cat near the cache let me know.

A neat hide made just a little bit harder by a muggle who parked about 20 metres away. However he was more interested in other things and I managed to search relatively unimpeded and the find was made before too long. Thanks again ON PATROL.
This is my 1st cache find for today in the Mt Victoria area. A tricky hide and found it around 9:35am. I had the place to myself so was easily able to extract it and sign the log without any interruptions.
As I sat on hands last weekend while Steeba & Dinbat found the cache, today I was able to get out and do the logging myself.
Logsheet is full on one side. Thanks

I think we had been in this parts before ?? Anyway once we spotted Gz I thought of the clue and took the find in under 30 seconds without the gps as Mrs R had it and she was just eastish looking high to low ! fine work it fits well ! Thanx
12.27pm. Found by Blondybear geokid#1. He was very pleased with himself. This is a very clever hide. Plenty of muggles about, but having geokids about makes a geocacher look less suspicious.
It was a warmish winter evening and we have a little time to pass while in the close proximity of a newish cache that we have not yet found? Why you pop out and get it of course.
This cache took a little longer to find than we expected even though we knew what we might be looking for (now lets think, where have we seen something like this before nearby).
Anyhow we eventually came up with the goods and did the cache thing before we were even noticed missing in action.
Thanks for the cache.
