Despite a thorough search on the windiest day in living history we couldn't find it. Maybe it's up higher than we can reach. The building is interesting, though, and we loved the name of this cache.
XC on business in Raymond Terrace from NZ for the day.. Had a chance to get out and about just after dawn and before work... Had coffee and breakfast nearby and walked to GZ after.. Nice old building.
Easy find.

This one was a tricky find, mostly because it was stuck to a fence a few meters away from suspected GZ! Luckily, we found it just as we were ready to give up and returned it to what we THINK was supposed to be its home!
After spending a long time searching for this cache, we discovered it sitting on a fence nearby. We've put it back to where we think it goes, but if someone who has already found it could double check, that would be great!
Very easy find Tftc wife found it but had to get me because was out of her reach
Thanks for the detailed hint, it certainly helped We enjoyed standing on the levee bank as the day ended and we watched a log glide silently by on the river.
This one was a struggle, i sure did have to stretch but didnt take to long to find.
Good hide

Definitely had to reach reach reach with my short stumpy arms. Good hiding
Nice easy find, just had to be carefull of the muggle kids playing in the area. TFTC
An afternoon exploring RT lead me to the levybank and funky mural artwork. Spotted the camo cache after dodging a few muggles. Fun grab! Cheers

Beatiful spot. I live this part of town. Some of the old buildings are in the process of being pulled down. So sad.
That was an easy find today while on my way to Newcastle.
Thank you very much for this cache!

This was a nice little spot. We parked at the herb garden and walked across to the cache, which we found, signed and returned before the nearby fishermen saw us. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found on a sunny afternoon of cache hunting whilst visiting the area. thanks
nice easy find and a nice spot by the river.
The only thing wrong with the mural is that I though that they were little gray men not green!

We had a few hours to kill before a party had to be attended and Mr Simia hadnt been back to Raymond Terrace for many years. This was a great opportunity to show the GeoKids were he would spend school holidays with his Nana and Uncles and Aunts. So after picking up some supplies we got to the hunting and after some clambering around Mrs Simia spoted this @1046.
Camo is coming off this one but with that said it is hidden well enough and I imagine very little muggle traffic around here.
Thanks for the Cache and Thanks for the trip down memory lane.......

Interesting place. Easy find with the hint spot on. TFTC. Couldn't convince any of the kids to go talk to the plovers under the tree though, for some strange reason
what a fun one to find!! I love a little challenge!! was a little hesitant getting out the car for this one. the street nearby was lined with bikes and a nearby house had someone bashing some drums with a lot of drunk yelling.... but it was definitely worth it!! nice to see some community herb gardens are still going.. thanks for bringing us to this colourful place!!
A nice old building and a much wider river than I realised, couple of school girls giggling away further down the bank but they weren't interested in what I was doing. A nice sneaky hide, took a few scans to see it. TFTC!
to the theme tune from X-files. we wandered and poked and prodded, then someone who had tried this one before
came up with the goodies!
again the mozzie ate thier fill of all of us!

It was not quite what I was expecting for something with "AREA 51" as it's name. But the old Aquatic centre is defintely a piece of history and I would love to know the history behind the "Marriage Trees". This was a great cache hide. TFTC
Remarkably easy but great cache hide all in the same sentence....top stuff Madstars and you didn't let us down either....another MM's container TFTC TNLN

Not a fan of this one madstars, dodgy old terrace with broken bottles and of all things a bong at the cache site....questions from the 11yr old as to what that was proved quite interesting, lol....
That said, took us to a spot we hadnt been to before...
Cheers for the cache.

Found this one after a little searching. Placing it back was ten times harder though as a muggle from the nearby club decided to pop out for a smoke. Wandered off waiting for him to finish, then after realising he'd lit a second waited to time it perfectly while he was enjoying a view in the opposite direction
Another great Madstar's cache. Quick find, didn't need the hint. We actually set out for this one some time back but the Powerboat racing on the day put the wind up GeoKid1 and we had to miss it. TFTC. TeamAJKW.
PS. We are awaiting your return to our cache you missed a couple of days back. Dontforgettheareoguard!

Creepy building. Never been down this street before even though I go to Raymond Terrace often. Thanks
A nice quick find - clever hiding spot. Lovely spot - except the local kiddies were running amuck making a racket! TFTC.
Team Casho’s Boy weekend of caching up north.
With the girls at home the boys decided to go a caching.
Armed with a list of lower end caches. No disrespect to the caches or their owners there were many wonderful caches, locations and things to see in our travels. We just set up a search for those with a terrain level of around 2 – 2 ½ for this trip to build up our numbers heading towards our 1000th find in our first year. As this was the case many of our logs would just read easy find so to expand on that we are including a run down on bits of our trip in all logs.
Trip
Wollongong – Raymond Terrace – Nelsons Bay and home via the Central Coast area.
Visiting relo’s while in the area (I know a major waist of caching time).
Found not only our 900th find but also out 950th, on our way to the big 1000.
Things we seen
Views, fireworks, kids jumping their bikes off the end of a wharf, a kangaroo, a koala, crabs by the hundreds, lizards, a crock, a turtle, kookaburra, aliens, ducks, dogs, boats, tankers, a weather station, the Coast Guard, police, ambulance and the fire brigade and that was just for starters.
Removed a box of matches from a cache in a bush area. Not such a good idea I thought.
Got bitten by mozzies, invaded by school kids while trying to return a cache, did some 4 wheel driving, got busted by muggles, introduced my muggle family to caching, collected some travellers, found some new and interesting hide styles and carried out maintenance on several caches while on the go. On the way home had to take the long way due to a fatal car accident on Picton Rd. Stopped to help a driver who got a puncher as a result of the accident. Seen his car fall off the jack while we were passing by, legs under the car (all ok there thankfully). Kids got paid for our assistance as I would not accept the money. This detour proved longer then it should have due to the 3 new caches in Appin last week.
Our thanks to the girls for allowing us to cache without then (not that they had any other choice) and the many cache owners who placed the caches we attended.
We look forward to catching up with fellow cacher’s at the Geocaching Association of NSW Nurragingy Christmas Party GC1ZCCX December 12 2009, were all going well this will be our 1000th find.
Looks like the Oz Wagga Wagga Mega Event (April 2-5, 2010) GC1Y5R has just hit the MEGA requirements and we can’t wait to be part of it.
Merry Christmas
Happy and safe caching.

Found at 11.00am GAFF4. Third time lucky. This time we just walked up to GZ, which must have had the co-ords altered, because last time we were directed to the tree. If the cache was in this loction all along, then there is no way it was there the last 2 times we checked. - and we gave that hole a good checking out!
Thanks MADSTARS - finally got it.
Thanks MADSTARS - finally got it.
A wet and windy find for this one so did not hang around long. A nice spot. TFTC
King street was all blocked off for the movie "Tomorrow: When the War Began" and there wer destroyed cars and wreckage strewn around the place which was pretty cool. The location of the cache gave an different perspective on the movie set as it is outside (just) of the area they have closed off if you head along the river. Took us a few minutes to find the cache but the street closure also reduced muggle activity in the area. Great spot. TFTC. [Cache 120]

A quick find in the rain. Interesting to see the recent facelift made to King Street for the filming of a new movie.

The first cache in the drunk and disorderly series for the night. Very entertaining getting the shortest person of the group to get it, which she did with some degree of elegance!
Found with McPhan, RexTrex and BigON after leaving the dinner in the nearby Junction Inn - and a very pleasant dinner it was too. More a cache for McPhan for me Thanks MADSTARS.
Maybe someone could remind me what happened here ???
It's just a little hazy
but I recall a very zig zag walk to a cliff ... or maybe not a cliff but a big drop off.... or maybe a big wall ??? ... and maybe it wasnt a zig zag walk but it sure felt like it !
I remember lots of flashing lights,... either torches or I dread the thought but maybe cameras??
I remember lots of voices .... possibly helping but most likely laughing???
I remember stretching, leaning, and being grateful I had long fingernails but then I'm lost from there on...
I'm sure I would have logged it but I must have eaten something at the dinner that made me go a little strange and it seemed to also affect my memory on a few that night
Thanks MADSTARS ...I think

Loved the old building and would have liked to explore the area further, but McPhan needed assistance to look in the right place - duty calls! Another neat site MADSTARS, thanks. Also thanks for your support to the invasion of your area - you and the other locals have done your home patch proud. Well done.
2164. After sharing good stories and good food at the event I was forced to make a bridge to this cache so that my companions would be able to log the find. It wasn't a stretch to say it was in hand quickly and then it was time to go back past the event and wave regally at the remaining troupe.

Maybe it is the aliens here that are playing games with the nearby caches... This is another cache I visited twice, once to make the find & again for others in our party to make the find after our invasion dinner. At least this cache stayed in its original position. TFTC.
Cool old building, with a couple of muggles having a smoko break in the vicinity, but not close enough to stop us logging the cache. Cheers Gav [4057]
First find for the day, 1 of 19! Great hiding spot and an interesting location Thanks Madstars!
Mr R had a quick find on this one as Mrs R did not have a hope of reaching ! thanx for the cache.
Find number 1900.....
Enjoyed the area and also enjoyed the hide. A little more effort required than just moving a rock or two. A pleasant winters day with great views of the river.
Thanks MADSTARS, a bit of fun. (1st of many of your hides I would gather over the next few days.........)

I immediately knew I was in the right place, and just needed to to locate the cache. The GPS put me inside a building, but was enough to point me at something little out of place. It didn't talke to long to retreive the cache. I had to wait to replace it as there was a family appear, but got there in the end and replaced it unseen.
Finally decided to grab this one as I was unable to locate the first time and many muggles on other occasions. With the Geo Teens in for a few caches today we SL and moved on TFTC.
JABs remembered what to do to getthis one and had it in no time at all.
I too drove in the little road but didn't have a trailer on like Bundy so getting out was easy.

Good thing JAB's knew what to do. Maybe it was the clue. The murals are definitely a bit odd for the location.
The hardest part about this one was finding somewhere to turn the bike and trailer, as I have a tendency to ride in, and worry about getting back out later.
