Found what we thought was GZ but nothing there, however now we are home and I have read through previous logs I suspect what we found was a decoy !!!
Also were entertained by a fisherman who told the most amazing poems he had written.
The highlight of our day.
What a lovely area this is. We had a good look around before heading home.
Must go back again.

A weekend away to catch up with Grandma and Grandpa (who are also geocachers, Hunters and Collectors)and check out their new Winnebago in action. After a morning of rain we werefinally able to get out and find a cache or three. A quick find - once we had checked out the clue. Thanks hanjac.
Found while camping with family (TheHunterGatherers) at the dam. What a great spot for a relaxing weekend.

In the area for lunch with friends - Introduced them to caching picking up this one and the nearby GCXJ8E.
The day was hot but the dam with plenty of water looked inviting.
Thanks for the Cache

Found a chance to come down this way so good to see more caches down this end of the world. This is always a nice place to come to cool off on a hot day. TFTC.

This had been on our to-do list for quite a while now, as it had been a while since the Smelly's had visited the area.
One Smelly's Dad grew up in these parts - just up the road near the school - and it always brings back memories to visit the places they enjoyed so much as a kid.
We arrived at GZ and went straight to the spot and found nothing. We widened our search and still found nothing. We decided to have a break and take the geohounds for a swim while we pondered where it may be. This was easier said than done, as it seemed everyone wanted to either camp or fish at the nice dog swimming spots. But eventually we found a spot and the geohounds loved it. On the way out we had another look, and lucky we are that we did, as we then noticed the cache had fallen and was sitting under GZ. After retrieving and signing we placed it back where it should be. Thanks for giving us a reason to come back here.
