No response from owner. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Add me to the list calling for it to be archived. Doesn't appear to be there and owner isn't maintaining it. Archive it please. Cheers Gav
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
This one was removed by a finder on Aug 14 2010 as it was is disrepair. There was a DNF on this one on Oct 8 2010. The owner last visited the gc site on Aug 27 2010. I was not going to waste my time in looking for this one as the owner should have posted a note for this one after Aug 14 2010. We drove up to GZ and re reread the finds logs and we decided that this one was not worth a DNF as the owner is not maintining this cache. Please replace or archive it so the spot is available for someone else to use. Good history in this area.
Is it there again or not?
well, we didn`t find it...
so if it is not there then it might be better to close that cache until it is there again!!!!

Driving through Brandon today for some reason I thought I would just check it out as Geoson had a bad hair day and could not find it in April. The cache was lying on the ground, open with only two calling cards and a golf tee scattered around beneath the tree. i have taken it home and will contact the owners.
Tackled this one while working in Ayr. Found GZ but the cache didn't come to hand until I put my hand in the right place. TFTC Scorpion&Butterfly
The second cache in three where I spent way too long looking for something I should have seen much quicker. Nice spot though, thanks Scorpion&Butterfly.
Hahaha I got attacked by the Warriors! But made it out alive and signed the log Cheers from Sydney!

trip to ayr to have dinner with parents thought i would take in some caches along the way.....found after few mins....TFTC
After a VERY slow start to the day we headed down the coast for a drive! Our first for the day....not a person around which was good because we had a bit of searching to do! Geodad loved this one, he has been itching to get a "leg up" for ages!! After a quick sign and easy dismount we were back in the car onto the next cache!

We must be getting better at caching because where this one had us beaten last year, we actually found it easily this time. Thankyou for the hunt.
A classic hiding place. Made for a welcome stop while travelling back home again. TNLN TFTC
Found with geokids BurgerGirl & FireboltCal and family newbie Jack. Loved this tree (another one) and we took care with the local residents. Jack made his first real find at this cache. Quickly signed log and then off to the drive-in in Ayr.

The green warriors must have had a very busy day as they paid no heed to us at all, but on the flip side you have to get lucky sometimes. SL TNLN TFTC
Together with VP244 we found this cache on our way to Cairns. The “little†green warriors made a bit difficult to grab the cache, but Peter was very brave and got it.

Many of ants keep a jealous watch over this cache. Because of that it was not so easy to find it. But together with struppi&strolch we climbed a little bit and found it.

1025hrs. A bit of a search and looking at the green ants and we found the cache. Must have been our lucky day as we didn't get bitten. TFTCSL
Found at 1.10pm GAFF3. What a fantastic story - to think that now one knows what really happened, although the foundry seems to have felt guilty!
There were hundreds of those green ants and putting our hand in there was a test of faith - and a bit of pain.
Thanks for the experience Scorpion&Butterfly.

well after not being able to find the cache down the road due to driver reviver muggle activity i was happy to be able to find this one.
BUT why oh why did it have to be in the middle of a green ants pathway???????
it was a little high up for a short arse like me to reach without disturbing the ants
OUCH!
but ants stop no dedicated cacher.

Quick stop in on a caching weekend, a nice bit on military history that many would miss on the highway
Mrs Red Devil would have nothing to do with this one once she saw the Green Army on the move..After prancing around a bit, not wishing to stand in the one spot too long, a relativly easy find was made.

This is one of those enjoyable little opportunistic caches that you get along a journey that you use to break up the trip. The old steam tractor across the road was very cool! TFTC
A Grim day for the Greynomads - 4 DNF's today. After a thorough search of the trees and getting bitten by the green blighters, we came up with nothing. Never mind, a trip to the Public Toilets on the main road made up for all the pain. Everyone needs to try the Loo, it is quite an experience. The pub roof also has an interesting customer that just dropped in for a coldie. Will try again another day.
Found this one nice and easily. We always like to see monuments so that was a bonus. Thanks for organising this cache. TNLN SL.
First one on our way to Mackay. Nice shady location to stop and have a snack. TNLN. TFTF.
Didn't take too long to find. What a nice little patch of green on the way to Townsville. Not many folk around either, which helped.

My son, "digger" was racing motorbikes nearby today so we stopped in to have a look for this one and digger had it in hand before I got the GPSr up and running.Plenty of history here, will have to stop and have a better look around another time.No swaps today, thanks for the nice easy cache.
Wandered around a little but eventually put a hand on the sneaky devil.

After climbing all over the tree closest to the given coordinates (and almost haven given up) we found that all that climbing in the upper branches wasn't necessary at all.
It was fun either way though!

Stopped off while travelling from Airlie Beach to Townsville for work. A quick and easy find, which was just as well as I was not looking forward to a long battle with the green ants. No GPS for this find, as the description made it quite easy. TNLNSL, TFTC.
missed it on the way north ...
had to stop on the return journey
took a bit longer than anticipated, but manged to get my hands on it eventually

Quick grab on the way through. There are a lot of little green soldiers here. Glad I had covered shoes. TFTC.
We were surprised at how busy this little corner could be, or was it because we were trying not to be noticed. We found the Green ants a bit fiesty. Nice easy find but hard to reach.

Heading north to the Atherton Tablelands with Geo-gran-kids- Scanas2- from Hong Kong. This was the fifth find for the day of 25 for the trip. I learnt very quickly not to get between the cache and the Geo Grand daughter (9yo). However Geo Grandson (11yo) was climbing the tree and almost totalled the cache with out seeing it.

Nice easy find. Unfortunately no pen/pencil in cache so had to go back to the car for writing materials.
Very easy find as the cache was visable from the car. Took the geo coin will relocate at the Sunshine Coast. Very excited with my first coin Thanks
Accompanied my sister Bossy Boots to find this cache. As it was right out in the open and could be seen from the car we have tried to hide it about a foot above where it had been hidden and have camouflaged with sticks. The Council had been tidying up the area and had cut some bits etc. Think they must have found the cache and just put it back where it had been but in the open. I will go back later in the week and do a more permanent fix.
Thanx HDSpringer, appreciate you doing this for us. Please keep me posted as it will be a little while until we are able to get down that way again because of work and the Geo-Brats. Once again, cheers!

Out and about for a bike ride and touch of caching. Found this one with ease. It was a beautiful day for caching. Managed to fit a Geo-coin into this cache. TFTC.
Found with bubblensqueak whilst out for the arvo on the Hog. Great cache but even more amazing is the toilet accross the road, sounds odd I know but check it out & you will see what I mean (that's the public toilet accross highway not the one in the preservation society). TNLN,TFTC.
Found at 1635hrs with wife and kids on way to Mackay for a wedding. Nice stop for a break. Has anyone tried the public toilets across the road. Quite fancy for such a little town.
We avoided the green warriors and read about the real ones, nice little town and a good tevern for lunch.

Another good DIDO in a nice little park. The last time Bumblebee stopped in either of the Brandon parks for any length of time was when she was five and her preschool was having its x-mas breakup in the playground that was on the other side of the highway. The cache wasn't hidden very well and was retrieve quickly. Signed the log and returned the cache to GZ. This time we made sure that the container wasn't easily visible.

*FTF* My 100th cache and a ftf as well. Thanks Scropion and Butterfly. I was going to Bowen today to get my tonne but now have managed to do it at home. TNLN. TFTC. This makes a great trio of caches for travellers through the area.
Hmm A couple of possiblities. Mr Burdair tried one and then had a quick look in the other whilst burdair junior looked in the other spot. After checking back with the GPS Mrs burdair decided to recheck where burdair junior had had a mans look and sure enough what was there for all to see. TNLNSL Thanks for the cache our 5th for the day and thanks for a fun geocaching afternoon.
