Logs
Cache container missing, but log exists. Did not have anything with me to replace. Will need attention
TFTC. Found the log and signed, but no container. Replaced where I think it is meant to live
I am back at Sanctuary Cove for another week. Conference starts Monday and I get to play a little today while I acclimate myself to being 10,000 miles and 14 time zones from home (PA in the USA). I knew that the caches were at a bit of a distance from my hotel, so I rented a bike and went for a ride. This was the fourth of 5 that I visited today.... This one gets a favorite point simply because it made me laugh. Love the hint. Greetings from Pennsylvania and thanks for the fun!
Checked on this one, wasn't replaced at the intended spot, so corrected that, also new logbook in place.
Found this cache on the ground out in the open, The log was to wet to record our visit. Enjoyed the walk and the views of the water. tftc
This was our second cache for the day and fortunately the rain held off for this one. This was an area we had not visited before and loved the walk around this path. We soon arrived at GZ and it did not take long to make a find. Added our name to the log and headed back to the car with the hope of no more rain. TFTC
After my frustrations at the last cache, I thought hopefully this one will be easier ! Walking along the boardwalk, I spied a likely GZ zone and quickly had the cache in hand. Let's get this signed and go I thought... checked pocket one... then pocket two... ohhh damn !!!! I've lost my pen ! Always being someone who feels they must sign the log, I figured it had probably fallen out at the last cache... some 300m back.... and sure enough there it was ! Back to GZ again I soon had it signed and on my way. TFTC !!! It was a great spot and a lovely walk... twice.
Attended D&Mocha's event today and this was nearby. Followed the trail but first some mozzie repellent. So before they devoured my face I looked at the hint. Which one? To the water or the other way?
Gotcha!
Gotcha!
And so, at the end of this sentence I will have typed already, a longer log than the last ten combined - not that thirty-two words is a magnificent feat worth writing home about! Now excuse me as I carry on with my (non)Olympic effort of writing a detailed log about my adventure. Pigwig, the last logs here do naught but to earn you and your inbox my sympathies, especially on a geocache that has had a geocaching profile nearly as long as I have.
It was getting a little late when I attempted this one. A few hours on the Gold Coast sniffing out conference venues and now I had time to kill after knock-off. I foolishly followed my GPSr to Kingfisher Boulevard, which ended in a gated community. It was as I was parked there I looked at previous logs for any help.. yeah, short answer: 'No'.
The next logical place was sought and after a U-turn, parked in Salt Water Park. Oh, right. Face, meet hand! A number of dog walking muggles were about and I suspect this is the only dog park with a lake included for poochie swims provided. Nice. And, might I add, I never knew you had a dog Ms. Wig! A pet swine would make sense, but a hound somewhat surprises me.
So I toddled along the path. I skipped rocks under the bridge and tried to take photos of several different types of birds I spotted, a highlight of which was a noisy and curious Butcher Bird. Then I managed to follow the GPSr to the wrong side of the creek before noticing the boardwalk. Indeed I only spotted it because a muggle wandered along it while I was in the trees.
Right, with the final, correct approach sorted, I made my way right up to GZ. Not a dozen metres away like the other side provided. A blinding option graced my eyes and I soon had the geocache in hand. I really liked the unique little access tool provided here.
My name was entered onto the logbook (which is a bit tatty, but lives on), before being all replaced as found. Thankfully no mosquitoes to report! By the time I got back to the car, it was very nearly dark, but I reckon we've got time for one more before my meeting tonight. Thanks for this geocache, Pigwig2

MrsG's first access idea was thwarted by gates....it sure gave a different impression on the iPhone maps. So we parked in Saltwater Park and wandered along the path that we didn't know existed. Arriving near GZ we spotted a likely general location. Nice of nature to provide an access. TFTC Pigwig2.
Thank goodness that was a quick find! Any longer and l would need a blood transfusion thanks to the swarms of mozzies. BRING THE AEROGUARD!!!! Log is pretty soaked through so pic added for a log. TFTC. Cool hide and relevant hint.
We found it!
We were in a rush, We parked at the car park and ran to the GZ, Do we take the board walk or bush bash!?!
We chose one and hoped for the best, once near GZ we chased the GPS around until we worked that we should start looking for it! We made a quick find and just managed to get out the log (would recommend a new log or bring a tool to get the log out).
Thanks for the cache!

caching with malrob66. Quick find. Log dry but a bit tattered in places. TFTC.

Last person only wrote the date I checked app and wrote their name In next to date with a ? after it dates were only one day off and was after salandanth.

We wandered down to this one from the car parking spot and as we approached the general area we spotted a likely candidate. As we zeroed in the clue became apparent and Sal did the retrieval. Thanks for placing the 684th cache that we have found so far Pigwig2008!
After work today a storm was rolling in so started driving away from the storm in the hope of getting to a cache and back to the car before getting wet.
So I headed out to this one. By the time I parked the car I no longer needed the wipers but I did have about a 300m walk.
A quick walk later and I am at GZ and the phone is pointing this way and take.
A minute of so later I spotted a likely spot and soon had the cache in hand.
Back to car I headed and that is when it started to rain.
I was not totally soaked by the time I got in the car but ...
Thanks for cache.

There is a first time for everything and this is the first time that I have found a stinky log. It has been damp and now smells like something I can't quite place.
Found it, must admit, it was my first time finding one & I took my niece, she loved looking for it with me. It took us 2 times but it was so much TFTC
Took me two attempts for this one. First time mozzies were eating me alive and I left after 5 minutes. After reading the hint again and with less mozzies it was a quick find on the second attempt - great hiding spot for a cache! TFTC
Out this morning and a pigwig cache comes up. Of course there is some mud and a creek, BUT this time a nice dry entry and a nice quick find. There is a no dog sign on the boardwalk now but I made a quick dash in and out with Mika on her lead. Thanks Pigwig2.
Staying down the coast after a day at Wet n Wild. We thought we would tackle some caches in the area.
Parked at the Carpark and walked under the bridge. At first we were on the wrong side of the creek but ran around to the other side.
PS. Looking back I think I may have dated this the 4/1/13- still stuck in 2013!! Oops

On day 3 on my Queensland caching trip it was fun doing 63 caches for the day. Some easy and some tricky hides, but a lot of fun was had in the 19 deg. weather. Lot's of walking and a bit of bike riding got the blood pumping. Thanks to all the CO's for their efforts.
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Out and about around the Gold Coast. Once we found the way into this one, a nice walk and a good spot for a cache. TFTC.
Caching with Gunnie69 today on the Bullion Coast
After a false in to this cache we arrived at GZ..
Gunnie made a quick extraction but log is very wet....
TNLNSL
Thanks Pigwig2

GC'ing with Kaisho53, we initially took an early exit off the path and realised we were never getting to GZ that way. A quick correction and that was fixed... [^] Once there, I figured I knew where the container was and tried to gesture Kaisho53 into making the retrieval... Hmm, I don't think that worked so I made a move and quickly had the cache in hand...
On extraction of the log, I was pleased to have my scribble on anything pen with me as the cache has sucked up some moisture and the log is wet. I managed to etch our names but only just... As I was in Junior Gunnies car this morning, I was not armed with any spares and didn't have a note book on me either. So, sorry Pee Dubya, I had to leave the cache as is...
Thanks for showing us the location.
Cheers Pigwig2.

I was heading to the 7 Float Your Boat caches this morning and just had to stop in for this one on the way. It's surprising how many people are out at this time of the morning. A cool little hide just meters from the path. Signed log and just got back onto path when someone else came round the corner. That was close. TFTC Pigwig2.
Visiting from Newcastle, staying with my brother in Nerang, nice hide, TFTC Pigwig2!!
Happy New Year.
A short board walk bought us to GZ, had to get a bit of a leg up to retrieve the cache
Thanks Pigwig2

we found this one, but it was laying on the ground, so we put it back where it should be
was just about to search for this one when I saw it lying on the floor. I placed it where i thought it should be
Started the day by floating my boat This was along the way to my next mission, so I stopped for a hunt. Nice and quiet, so an easy job today
After heading down to Sanctuary Cove for work I thought I'd try a bit of Caching on the way home. Got to GZ and looked around then spotted the Cache out in the open. I signed the log and placed it in a nice safe hiding spot. TFTC.
First time this far north from Surfers, beautiful area here, nice park and very nice houses. Found cache with dry feet! TFTC Pigwig2.
Out with newly converted Geocacher Daughter (Coffs Harbour based) up for a visit so we have combined a bit of Shopping with Geocaching.
Geo Daughter had done the shopping part so we had headed off together to do some more.
Jenisis had really tested us with 2 of theirs and I saw that this one was a Pgiwig and could test us even further but it was a good opportunity to train Newby Geocaching Daughter the tricks of the trade (or Game).
The mozzies were giving us a tickle along to find this one so luckily I came upon it quickly.
Nice Hide Pigwig TFTC SL

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 9:43am. It was a short walk from where we parked to GZ. The mowers were out today but not in this area. The cache was found quite quickly. TFTC
Last one for the day as it got to hot - headed to the beach for a feed and swim

My GPS had me examining a GZ well away from where I found the cache. After I widened my search I found it 12m away on the ground. I am not sure if I replaced it where it is supposed to be but it should be findable as it looked like a more likely spot to me than the one my GPS suggested.
Found as a part of Team SaintsMadHouse and now that the kids have grown we each have our own accounts to finddd geocaches with separately wherever we go!An easy find by Geoson as we were heading home from a weekend at the Gold Coast. The only Step Up we did was to leave. although the kid did get a nasty scratch from a piece of barbed wire. I tried to take the wire away but it was submerged and in pretty tight. Future cachers watch where you step. I did cover the wire with a few large logs. If anyone is heading out this way with some tin snips or similar, please consider grabbing it. Its just 2 steps to the right of the cache is the path is behind you. Cheers

I'd previously found this one a long time ago when I'd come geocaching on my own under a different name. Came to do it today with Geohubby under our name and found it has been relocated. Last time it took me a long time to find in it's difficult hide. Today it was a bit quicker. Another difference: Last time I had to very nervously walk through grass nearly knee high. No grass here now, just pine needles. I felt much safer. Thanks for another great cache Pigwig2 along a nice broad boardwalk from a nice park. TNLNSL.
Nice area and cache soon located after a short walk. Pleased to find a Pathtag. SL TFTC
Plenty of dogs around today enjoying the area. I like the dog park set up! Pagan picked the right path in and the cache was quickly in hand. Nice spot. Thanks Pigwig2
I had barely arrived at GZ when Loki from Lokipagan had this one in her hot little hand. The sun was really starting to beam down on us - thankfully keeping a lot of muggles at bay. The cache was in good condition. TFTC Pigwig2
I was staying for a few nights at Hope Island Resort which lead me to this nearby cache. Loads of mozzies and dogs having fun. I went higher than necessary which made it an easy find. Dropped my pathtag.

Quick find today and cache was in good condition. Had a little trouble getting back onto the path!
