Caching day with Team Benders Duo targeting the caches in South-East Toowoomba.
We found the answers to locate GZ for the final (double checked them to make sure), but despite an extensive search, neither the cache, the log nor the circular offcut was in sight. The recent burn-off made the ground search rather easy this morning, thankfully, but I would suggest that the cache and everything associated with it has now gone "with a bushman"!

Out with RoddyC to find some caches in the area.
Despite getting some great coordinates the cache eluded us today.
Thanks for the hunt

No ammo box anymore so I signed my name and left it under the circular offcut that now sits at GZ. Thanks for the hunt. Hopefully you can maintain this cache soon.
Visit Toowoomba for shopping, via stop Muilt.. Good spot for answers on sign, then calculation final coords, short walk to good coords as no cache, but burns trees everywhere... Please checking possible ...
A huge fire has swept through GZ and not sure if this cache has survived. Will check on it when the area is accessible again.
mum and I didn't really agree with the co ordinates that we got. but we headed in the right direction [?] arrived at a likely GZ and yes there was the cache. ammo can great. It had a few swaps but we didn't bring anything so no swaps were made. Cache is in wonderful condition.
TFTMC another souvenir for me.

We needed a multi so I parked up here and we went in to make the find. After a small amount of confusion and a slight discussion we settled on the coordinates and headed off. Love an ammo can always and it had 2 TB's we weren't expecting all good. left a tb here too.
TFTC everything is good in the box, we replaced as found .

Ah, my problem was Clue F. It is not the answer to E plus the number one. But thank you for my first ammo box find!
cache find # 1316. Good Friday, and we are out and about in Toowoomba doing some caching.
We worked out the clues, and put those into the GPs, and soon we had ourselves at GZ.
Not long after we had the cache in hand.
TFTC TFTH.

Once we adjusted the datum on the GPS so it wasn't showing us a location in jondaryn, we found a spot along the track to match to coordinates, but unfortunately after checking all around we still came up empty handed will have to try another day!
Found the sign, did the sums and was led straight to the coordinates. A short search later and the box was in hand. TFTC!
Helps to use the correct sign. Was easy going thereafter even though our GPS took a while to settle.
Nice bit of bushland.
Thanks Nortney
Nice bit of bushland.
Thanks Nortney
Lovely piece of bushland in the city. After finding the cache we were a bit taken aback by the size of 2 children riding their bikes past us with apparently no adult supervision. We got to the entrance in time to see the parents pushing a stroller - (a very sporty energetic mum who was off and running) Dad waiting for the 2 bike riding kids to join him and the Staffie dog eager to catch up to Sporty Mum.
Thanks for taking us to this park.
Thanks for taking us to this park.
Made a quick stop at the posted co-ordinates with Mrs Lat&Long before strolling along to GZ. Always nice to find a big cache at the end of a hunt. TN/LN/SL and admired our surroundings. Would like to have walked a bit further, but didn't have a lot of spare time before we had to be somewhere else. TFTC [^].
Mucked up on one coord the first attempt but made more sense of it after reworking it. Found the cache 7m off - you should really update your coords. The clue helped, of course. Nice sized container for a change, much appreciated. Enjoyed the multi and dropped a TB that has finally got up the courage to leave us. Have fun Little Boy Blue. TFTC
#32 Yay!
We really liked this one. The puzzle was fun and the co-ords were spot on. Took us longer than it should have because previous comments said the co-ords were out. Although area is used by local kids for a little BMX riding, they were extremely polite to us and said they would get off the track while we walked through - so we did the lap around and when we got back to the start they had gone!! yippee! Headed to gz and started our search! This was our first ammo can - loved it!! Took little doll, car and stickers - left lego, party popper and signed log. TFTC - definite kids favourite with all the treasures!!

Tagging track able to new location. Muggles nearby and may tamper. Very excited to get first trackable
# 6116 Found on our 2013 winter escape trip to Qld.
We are in Toowoomba for a few days to have a good look around.
No muggles around here today and found after widening the search about 7m from my GZ.
Another day of the 31 day challenge completed as well.
TN LN SL. Thanks for the cache Nortney,
Roostaman.

We had a couple of options at the GZ WP1 and it looked as though we choose right, well almost, we got one number slightly out but that didn't deter us because we found the Cache in the the spot where we would have hidden it. It is always good to find an ammo can too. We left the Peanuts the elephant and the cashcard TBs to continue their travels. Cheers Nortney.
Visiting from Newcastle NSW, staying in Toowoomba for a couple of nights, TFTC Nortney!!
Must have done our sums wrong a little. Although we did manage a find about 10 meters away.

Found with stairman1 and geodog. We were at the end of our caching day. This was a nice easy multi which was fine by us. We calculated the final co-ordinates and headed there. The co-ordinates were slightly out but we located the container. Signed our names then headed out. Thanks Nortney
Out and about in Toowoomba again, on another mad Friday with teamdfl
Arrived at the start to a couple of choices, but seems we picked the right one. Details noted and numbers crunched, and GZ was plotted. A short walk, then we had several options to go with. One seemed the most logical, but we couldn't spot anything there. We then checked out all the others with no result, so returned to our first pick for a discussion and number check. Definitely here, then. Okay, one more search before we go back to the start again... ohh, that looks a little odd, ah, got it [^] Always nice to see an ammo can in the suburbs, too. TFTC, Nortney.

Out with IolantheK for a freaky Friday. Pulled up at WP1 and started to look. Hmmm, there is a few options here. We got lucky and chose the right one. GZ calculated and off we went. GZ on my GPS was at the edge of the path, so we referred to the hint. Wow! That is one big tree over there. Hunted around several possibilities, but nothing. IolantheK decided to look at something that I said was wrong, because it did not match the hint. There's a cache!! Not sure I would have looked there, but it is the type of place you would expect to find a cache ;-D
Fun little puzzle to work out gz. Gps located me on a definite location that matches hint. Spent half an hour bushwhacking this site with no find. Moved to another possible site 10 metres from co-ords that looks like high traffic for cache hunters but still no catche, i hope someone finds this one. Headed home now to get sorted for work. Wanted to find 3 catches this morning but lost all my time here
In Toowoomba for the weekend visiting the Grandparents for an early Christmas celebration.
Geoson and I headed out for some last minute find before heading home. We soon found GZ and easily deciphered the co-ordinates. Found GZ for the cache and soon had the cache opened and completed the log. Great spot for a cache. TFTC - all in good nick.

It took a few minutes for me to work out how to calculate GZ for this cache.
The olde brain was a bit slow in the midday sun
Once I got going again I could enjoy the walk along the shaded path.
At GZ I followed various geotrails to various places, but could not locate a cache
So I wandered back to the geomobile to retrieve my secret weapon !!
A poking stick with a big magnet on the end
Let's see that ammo box stay hidden now !!!
Somehow it did !! [:o]
Local kids have been digging around at GZ in the last week constructing a BMX jump.
Dunno if they might have found the cache ?

Todaynis a miserable over cast day but as we are nwearing our visit to Toowoomba we had to complete this cache. After getting to GZ it took us a short time to find this one , log & then get out of the rain.

After a little thinking, we worked out the coordinates and headed for the cache. We hunted around trying to avoid the spiders and the mosquitoes and soon discovered the cache. Glad to see that there were some quality swaps in this cache after visiting some in Toowoomba recently with some very dodgy swaps in them. Thanks for the fun!
We had a bit of trouble finding it at first because we had trouble figuring out the code. After we figured it out we found with some help from eskies 5. Took a Care bare Teddy and left a all blacks pin TFTC.
Out caching with geofriends.....won't mention any names ......who have spent a considerable amount of time on the hunt for this one. Nice easy find once you solve the puzzle correctly . Our first multicache. TFTC.
Took the hardest way possible to the cache, which also happened to be via quite a lot of spiderwebs . It was a very overgrown area compared to my last visit, but at least it means the muggles aren't frequenting the area! Found ok, and then found a little extra when I got back to the car - a small tick hitched a ride on me! TFTC, Nortney. =^.^=
Mrs George and George have found lots of new places on our visit to Toowoomba. This was a nice peaceful one, apart from the mosquitoes. TN L weary bear travel bug. TFTC

Was an interesting find greeted by a spider who had set up home on the cache. Found with BirdCat and after a few minutes of scratching around the more obvious areas we came up with the goods. I've lived in toowoomba for about 15 years and never been to this park so TFTC ^^
Out caching with Triciac2 and Grabey744 They have both done this one...and coughed when I walked past it by quite a way.
Thanks for good easy cache. Left TB

There were a few young muggles kicking a football in the start area so I stood back and quietly worked out the answers and then plugged in the coordinates.
A pleasant walk to find the cache and I watched to make sure they didn't follow me..
There were still kicking the ball when I exited. A great bit of bushland. TFTC.

Arrived at this one today with gaz'n'kab and Fangsoki. Soon did the maths and powered off to the cache. I had walked past it when gaz spotted the beast. TFTC, a nice little park.

My first multi cache in Toowoomba. Took TB and left sketeboard. Took a little working out but soon had the co-ods and we were off down the track. Took a little to find the cache as co-ods a out but determination helped find the cache. TFTC.
#62 ~ Nice little walk to the cache. Found this with Krossbo & ScantMonster. This was ScantMonster's very first cache!!! [^]. Congratulations!!! Unfortunately TB "Sunset Flip Flops Geocoin" was not in the cache.

In Toowoomba for uni so went caching with my parents. A bit of fun hunting for this one, though I did meet a nice cat across the road from the start.
Once we worked out which sign we were looking at (use additional waypoint, nothing at posted coords!) we quickly worked out GZ and found the cache nice and dry. Left TB> Thanks Nortney
This was probably a personal favourite for the day. After a discussion with Lokipagan, we sorted out what was going on. After doing a 3 person ascertation of co-ords, we were on our way. We started the hunt at GZ and I found the goods in excellent condtion. (I do love an ammo box). The forest was certainly beautiful today - even if it was teeming wtih rain. TFTC Nortney
I've lived in Toowoomba for most of my life up until 7 years ago, and I never knew about this place, I just drove by it on the way to Uni! Excellent hide, walked by GZ twice before finding the cache!
Nice easy find at the end of a long day of work, went out with the geowife, found lots more than we expected as close by hidden in the undergrowth we found a mother wild duck sitting on her eggs about 10 eggs in all, quickly retreated leaving the mother to her job in peace, then we came across a hare hopping along the track and finally a rabbit, what an afternoon.

Nice little walk in the bush. No spiders in sight today. Didn't see the GC in the cache. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.
The spider webs around this cache were just to much for me to go on down the path to the cache, if not for my partner who was man enough to bring me the log book to sign I would have just packed it up and gone on.
Signed the log from 50 meters away, I saw the cache as my partner had held it in the air for me to see at gz
