###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
I am going to Disable it, and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either
- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated when action will be taken
If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then regrettably the cache will be archived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

T-Tech and I are down from Brisbane for a meandering holiday around Tasmania. We flew to Melbourne where we picked up the campervan and spent a day caching there, then took Spirit of Tasmania I to Devonport. Tick that one off the bucket list!
Today we are travelling from Longley to Bruny Island. This was our last search before reaching our campground. We took in the info and admired the view then set about looking for the cache. 15 minutes later we were still empty-handed There appears to be an indent that looked about the right size at the base of a tree just the other side of the fence, but it was empty.

Found after a short search and realised the log book was quite wet. Did what I could to dry it out but it is not a warm day today. May need some maintenance next time CO is in the area. My first Bruny cache yay...
Amazing place and view. Thanks for leading us here. Cool camouflaged container. TFTC
The rest of the day after the successful Forty-spotted Pardalote hunt was spent travelling around parts of Bruny Island. After a coffee at Adventure Bay and a walk at Quiet Corner (with breeding Hooded Plovers as a bonus) we then headed for the ferry. A quick stop here and the cache found.
A favourite point as this is mis my southernmost cache - heading to Hobart tomorrow and north the next day so this is likely it. Log is soggy but fine to be signed

Found by geokid 1 during our 2020 Lap of Oz. TFTC in this lovely spot. Unfortunately the log was saturated and needs replacing
Beautiful spot. Found the cache in between muggle visits. Cache is need of some maintenance. Quite damp inside. Couldn’t sign so took a photo instead.
After the event on the other side of the island we made our way over to find this cache, we searched high and low and expanded our search but still no luck, we returned to GZ and managed to come up with the goods it was just buried quite deep.
With the new year at hand JL Rockstar and myself decided to head down south from Launceston to Bruny Island to attend two event: A CITO and a normal event that followed.
Along the way there and back we stopped on the odd occasion to pick up some caches.
All in all a great day out to start the year and a total of 22 caches were found.
Thanks for the cache.

Staying near Cloudy Bay, and took a trip over the back of Mt Mangana to get to Adventure Bay.
Checked out Pennicott's establishment, had coffee and attempted to go to a GZ on the Fluted Cape circuit, but map and what was actually on the ground did not compute. So bagged this one (View Over The Bay) on the way to Dennes Point. In good condition and secure. TFTC scotty&lochie.

TaurusSix and I got this on our way back to the accommodation via a detour across from Lunawanna.
Tftc. My first Tassies cache on the lovely Bruny Is. Not my first trip to Tassie though, having first arrived on these shores in 1973. Great day today. Log is still quite damp.
Tftc out and about on Bruny with the grandkids they are addicted to caching as much as we are found this one sent maintenance request as logs books are wet
A great park and find on our way up to Fluted Cape! Thank you! The cache was a bit waterlogged though.
Another nice spot. I think we were a bit too ambitious with our attempt to cache the whole island today. Making our way back to the ferry and will be back next week!!
Quick grab on the way out to the ferry after doing the Fluted Cape walk. Great view and great area. Thanks for the csche.

Found the Cache.
Full details of our visit down under on our return.
.
I found the cache, another day, another cache or two or more, and more to my total.
.
I am currently concentrating on six types on caches, Church Micros, Village Signs, SideTracked, Village Halls, War Memorials and A Fine Pair. Sadly, there are only SideTracked caches ‘Down Under’, but I did pick up one in Sydney.
.
Mrs Dolphin and I went to visit our daughter who is spending twelve months in Tasmania. After spending four days in Hobart we then did a Whistle Stop tour of a few towns and cities in South East Australia.
.
First the records: -
• First cache in the Southern Hemisphere.
• First Cache in Australia.
• First Caches in Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales.
• My highest cache ever found, highest three in fact (by far).
• Most southernly cache found
• Most Easterly ever found.
• My Oldest cache found to date.
. I did try and made it my practise to get a cache in every place we stopped. I think I picked up at least one cache at every new place we stopped even if the stop was just for ‘Tea and Cake’. Most of the caching and reporting was done on my phone. I do not like doing the finer points of caching that way and now believe I am fully ‘up to date’. Out of the forty-six caches I found ‘Down Under’ seventeen were Earthcaches. I believe I have emailed everybody the required information, but I understand that one was ‘lost’ (probably my fat fingers). If anybody contacts me, I will try to resend the information and photos I took at the caches.
.
It has taken me well over a week to complete this ‘full’ log of my caches ‘down under’. It is only now I think that I am fully over the ‘Jet Lag’. After being at work all day when I have gone home and had my tea all I have wanted to do is sleep. That is what I have been doing, going to bed without typing this log up.
.
A big thank you to the cache owners for the caches and points to everyone for the caches I found. Some of locations of these caches I do not think we would have gone to had it not been for the Caching.
.
I am also trying to get my Cache Centroid back to nearer my home location. It was only a couple mile from home, until I cached in the USA a few years back. This moved the centroid away by over thirty miles. So these caches should and will move my Centroid back towards my home location. I had thought that these caches from ‘Down Under’ would not help, but they have moved my Centroid back nearer home my four miles. It is now only thirteen miles from home.
.
Thanks for the Cache. I Took Nothing and I Left Nothing only my thanks again.
.
Sorry for the cut and paste, but I have only just got round to finishing off this log and things are beginning to merge into one.
.
I am dipping my Patch (for the mileage) in and out of the cache.

We decide recently it was about time that we did some caching on Bruny Island. As ‘bear’ had a RDO and the weather forecast was so good, today was the day. This cache was quickly found by the bear and after signing the log we spent some time enjoying the great views from here and taking some photos. Thanks for choosing the perfect spot for placing a cache at.
Today my friend, Runsis, & I ventured over to Bruny Island for a few hours doing a bit of sightseeing & caching...

Relatively quick find while waiting for boat trip. Tftc. Beautiful part of the world though a little hazy today. Greetings from Adelaide SA. We are touring Tas while celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary.
Took a while to find for some reason but got there in the end. Thankfully the smoke wasn't too bad here so we got to see the good view. Both travel bugs are missing and it seems that the owners aren't responding to requests to mark them missing. The CO of this cache also has the option to mark the travel bugs missing. TFTC

What a difference a day makes, the third DNF's we had yesterday were actually easy to find today. Easy find today we went directly to the first spot we looked and there is was.

Great view here of the bay. We stopped and realized there was a cache here. Double bonus!!
Hello from Canada, eh?! We are from Nanaimo, located on the east coast of Vancouver Island, on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada’s most western province.
We are spending a month visiting your beautiful country, with stops in Hobart, Bicheno (to see the Tassie devils and penguins), Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, Cairns, Port Douglas, Daintree Rain Forest, Great Barrier Reef, Brisbane (with a George Ezra concert), Byron Bay, and finally Sydney with a play (Blanc de Blanc) at the Opera House!
Today was a tour of Bruny Island, where we sampled muffins, oysters, wine, beer, honey, fudge, had a fabulous lunch at a winery and finally a whiskey tasting! Oh and those fabulous Bruny Island cherries! YUM!!
Thank you so much, scotty&lochie, for adding some geo fun to our trip! We nabbed Canada’s 1st geocache in Nova Scotia last August and we plan to nab Australia’s 1st cache in Sydney before we leave.
Dropped TB and grabbed one to take back to Canada.

Found it! Coordinates are off by a few meters but it’s there. Left a tb in the cache. Tftc
This little bay area had a rusty red/orange colour in it today. Unsure what it was at it appeared to be a sludge of sorts. It covered a vast area in swirls and patterns. I have looked back at previous photos in this log and it does not appear there. The cache was a quick find thanks to the clue.
Found by Lozza!!! Hehehe. We left a pen in it coz don’t you hate it when you rock up to a geo catch and you don’t have a pen. TFTC!!!
Tassie Trip Day 79 - Well today we went for a little riden on the big yellow boat and what a ride it was before we went we decided to get nearby cache and after the ride another cache was collected by the walker.
This was a great place to admire the view and collect a cache at the same time although the coordinates were off a little the hint did help in determining the best places to look.
Thanks scotty&lochie for showing us this place to stop and cache.

Find #4747
Visiting with the family from Melbourne and we had brought the car over on the Spirit and did a week of touring around Tassie. After heading from the island over to the (Bruny) island yesterday I headed out early morning to grab a few caches. We were visiting with a social cricket team and we had a game planned against the Bruny Island Penguins nearby. I had a the luck to read a few previous logs here so had a good idea of what to look for and where and as a result I was able to make the find pretty quickly here. First find of three for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Cheesy pigs.

Too many muggles and a waiting family made this a DNF.

Exploring more and more of Tasmania and finding some really interesting caches and locations. Thanks for hiding this here. ??
This one was a quick find after treating ourselves to and ice cream just down the road.
Myself and Goose had talked about a Bruny Island trip for a bit now and with the publication of some new caches the other day the trip was brought forward in our caching schedule.
So today I was our of the house before 6am and ready to pick the goose up at 6.15, with a good drive down to the ferry we just made it on to the 7am sailing, being the last car on.
After a full day making our way round the island, getting some nice finds and a few DNF's well not DNF's we gave up on a few before we event got to GZ, we managed to get a space on the 5.30 ferry back and were home before 7 for once
Thanks to all the CO for the caches.

As we staying in Hobart for a few days, our first destination today was the lovely Bruny Island. We stopped this one on the return from the lighthouse, ans as soon as we proceeded down the trail, the cache was spotted sitting out in the open. Fortunately everything looked intact and in good condition, so we signed the log and replaced it in the logical hiding spot.
