Suspect this one has been muggled. Had a good GPS fix and had a good look around. If this is a 1 star cache then it is definitely gone.

Early start today as we were aiming for 24 finds. This one was first on the list but unfortunately we could find no trace of a cache. Just as we were leaving the Rev. arrived and blocked the drive way as we think he suspected we were up to no good asked if he could help and we said we were just looking around. Don't think we dare go back for this one .
Visited the church on celebration day of Pentecost - so the place was crawling with muggles... So didn't really have the opportunity to search for the cache. However we did get a guided tour of the old church, and a coffee and home made scone in the hall... and seemed to have agreed to visit next Sunday morning for their 10am service!
We'll have to sneak back some time to actually look for the cache!!

XC and TK out and about. Stopped here for a quick pickup but had to talk to minister for a while to feign interest in the building as a cover for being there... He is a nice guy and didn't seem to mind the interruption to his ministrations..! so to speak.
TK unearthed as I was keeping lookout only to see minister looking through window at our activities.. He still didn't seem to mind.
Signed log and replaced when he was not in sight.
Not my favourite places to hunt for caches... but part of the adventure.

1st find of the day on way to near by event cache, no muggles about at 9:15am. - TFTC badge, + kids earing and ring set. TFTC
Second Trip in as I came across the Preist last time.
Spoke for a while. A new Church is going to be built right behind the old one and restoration is hopefully going to happen. On the church. Other rooms may get demolished. But it's a way off anyway.
Quick find when no muggles around.

The Rev. was just coming out of the driveway as I was getting out of the car... no he didn't mind me wandering around to 'take a few photos' .

Stopped by about 9:00 am. Church was open in preparation for the Sunday service but no sign of anyone at GZ so made a quick retrieve and replace. Looks like this cute "country" church will soon be in the middle of surburbia.
Many thanks

11:52 Nice church and quick find while my caching colleagues sat in the car (less than a metre away). Thanks for cache.

How could I resist a Pink Floyd cache - grabbed it quickly on my way to the airport. Cheers Gav [2584]
Last for the day 7:10pm
Been on the to do list for a while now, not easy to drag Kathy to Church... even if it's only for Geocaching [:p]
Kathy spotted it and signaled it was my job to fetch it
Nice quiet little spot, odd building mix of old and new. Nice BIG cache, the kind we like to see makes a great little travel bug swap stop.

Found it in the rain (does it ever stop raining here?). Was on my way to see a friend who works close by and made the stop.
Quant little church, looks like its in the middle of progress.
TNLN, Cheers.

Quick find, when we thought there was no one around.
But we were muggled by the parish priest who was on his way out.
Explanations ensued, and he was a bit nonplussed that there was someting hidden on church property that he didn't know about. However he was also not too concerned, just thought it would be nice to have been told.
It might be worthwhile making contact with him, Mr Street [email protected] and filling him in.
I have a phone no, but won't post it, if anyone wants it send me an email.

Our plans to do this one first in the day were changed when we realised it was the one time of the week that you can guarantee it will be busy! Rounded the day off with this one as our last for the day. TFTC
Out with PickleNZ & Roxbury, I planned the route for the day and intended to do this cache as #1, but the others reminded me it was Sunday and sure enough we had to leave till last of the day. In: Battleship TB TFTCSL
Last for the day while out with Roxbury & TealNZ. Was going to be our first, but had to wait for the service this morning to finish, so left for the end.

Thought we would be able to step up to another caching challenge from Auckland’s caching guru. Nice hide, found the cache and it was quite comfortably numb in its tomb. We too can remember when this was the only building for miles.
Liberated the St Patrick’s Geocoin
Left everything in peace

Came back today, to have another go; in the afternoon to avoid the congregation. It worked a treat.
BTW, someone logged after KiwiLeon in the logbook, before I got there, but hasn't logged it on the website yet?
