So pleased to have another older cache wearing a smile. This was found in an unusual way but found it was. Thanks for adopting this cache and keeping it live.
Had two of the grandies with us today so heading towards the beach and caching our way there. Both kids use the Garmins but we haven't yet taught them to not just put them down. This time it paid off as the cache was found under where the GPS got put down. Thanks for keeping this cache going.
This log is for WombatPoss as they aren't yet premium members.Poss put her Garmin down and when Rob picked it up, he saw the cache. Thanks for putting this cache here.
Over in Melbourne from the other side of the bay for a few days caching we concentrated on multis, labcaches and solved puzzles. The winter sun is still shining making for ideal conditions to enjoy the various locations we visited today. At the given coords we found the necessary info after looking in a few other places first. Took a photo to be able to read and transcribe the numbers needed to get to GZ. Once there the cache was in hand quickly, signed and returned without any disturbances from muggles. Thanks Earthbound Chief for the multi placement and maintaining this oldie.
A quick maintenance run today to check all was well with the waypoints of this cache. All good.
I needed to find a multi cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [RoamingHowie's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=24963346-56c5-4daf-8308-a01f60f5a5ba&wid=6a725450-9b6f-4892-abca-126a7026759c&ds=2) [WCW - 95% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z59M)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z59M) and so after work I had a look around at some of my unfound multi caches and decided to make this one the target for the day. So after work I hopped in the geomobile and made my way to the posted coordinates.Once I arrived near the posted coordinates I found the little car park that the cache page had spoken about and luckily there was a spot available for me to park the geomobile. However, that is where my luck ran out. I must have had a severe case of cache blindness today, as I ended up checking several beacons and could not locate anything. Eventually I had to send for a PAF to the [CO](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=d6c46c61-a269-4be2-a233-b17f2feca922&wid=ea9dfdfb-8830-4873-9150-7159ab599e3b&ds=2) who was kind enough to give me a few hints, however, still no luck. Even when I was able to narrow down my search area I still could not find anything. I had to reach out for another PAF who was able to help me a bit more and then I was off to GZ.I was originally planning to walk to GZ, but due to the time it took me at the posted coordinate it was starting to get dark and I thought I would run out of the last remaining bit of light, if I ended up walking it. So I hopped back in the geomobile and drove over to GZ. I was able to find spot that wasn't too close, but close enough before I headed the rest of the way on foot.Once I arrived at GZ it was then a short search before the cache was found and the logbook signed. *Whew!* I am glad it was much easier to find the cache then find the required information at the posted coordinatesA big thanks goes to Rigger64 for originally hiding this cache and to [Earthbound Chief](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=d6c46c61-a269-4be2-a233-b17f2feca922&wid=ea9dfdfb-8830-4873-9150-7159ab599e3b&ds=2) for maintaining it now for me to find today. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The cache container at GZ was in great shape and the logbook was pristine, clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
TFTC! 4 February 2024 5:28:10pm 7235 thanks to Earthbound Chief for the cache! Very hot today so we didnt walk! Made a quick find at both wp2. Will have to enjoy the walk another day.
On a previous visit to this area I found the coords to get to next stage but it was at the end of a long day and I knew I would be back. So having left home very early for an event in Brighton I made a diversion to be pleasantly surprised with a quick find. Yes, a lot of muggle action this morning!Tftc to all who created and are currently maintaining - Rigger64 for creating and Annoying Tarbit and Earthbound Chief for maintaining. A lovely spot. Regardskbucky
This multi should have been simple, but I turned it into an orchestration. Firstly, I could not find what I needed at WP1. A quick message to the CO sorted that out, but my poor eyes caused me to misread something and I headed off to what ended up being someone's back yard. Bah. Another message was sent to the CO, who pointed out my error. It was getting late, so I had to abandon the search, but I was determined to return quickly. Today was the day, and I was very pleased to sign the log for this comedy of errors.
First waypoint and cache container have both been replaced. Sadly the sign from waypoint 2 has been removed (stolen?) so that waypoint & it’s maths has been dropped from the original cache instructions. The cache is back in play at least.
Seems someone has taken all physical waypoints of this one, might need a slight rejig
Work arranged itself rather nicely this week giving me a period of six days off. I spent a bit of time working out which direction i wanted to head for caching fun and decided to have another go at Melbourne and the surrounding suburbs. I then took quite a while coming up with a list of caches to target, there are just so many possibilities! I packed, had accommodation sorted, and even had a muggle caching buddy lined up to do the driving. Perfect! Too perfect... . Plans changed at the last minute and i came down to the city solo and without the accommodation option. I wasnt sure if i would keep the rest of the plan or head for the hills instead.
Well i ended one day and im still here this morning, i have decided to persist with the plan for the time being. Time will tell if it stays that way.
Wp1 is missing and unfortunately im not as clever as the last finder. I was unable to find wp2.

This proved to be an interesting cache to search for! At the posted coordinates we were unsuccessful in finding a container. Based on the coordinates the likely spot was empty. So we made a took a short walk and made some assumptions about what we were looking for but without luck. After consulting a map we headed for another spot and this time found something that matched the description. With coordinates for GZ we parked nearby and soon had the log to sign. Thanks to Earthbound Chief for the cache. But the first waypoint needs to be checked.
Whilst on an impromptu caching expedition with LetThemEatCache, I noticed this multi that was in a direction we were interested in heading.
We stopped at WP1 and I made some ill-informed comment along the lines of "wait here, this won't take long" before jumping out of the car and heading straight over to the obvious structure.
Huh... nothing in there... that's strange.
The other two ended up assisting and we scoured the surrounding area fairly intensively before conceding defeat.
That was until I realised I had the coordinates for the final!
When did I get those???
And why didn't I find the cache when I did???
Well, it worked for both teams today and we departed for gz.
A short wander in and, sure enough, LTEC has the hide in her hands without any delay whatsoever!
Our names entered the logbook and I left utterly confused as to when it was that I last tried this multi!
WP1 may be in need of a CO check - if it was in that obvious spot, it isn't there currently.
Thanks to Rigger64 for placing this cache and all its subsequent owners for keeping it maintained!

Is it wrong that we found "The End" before any of the others in this series?
We were with another cacher (Hey, Brain!) who fortunately had completed the first stages and had the coords for GZ, as nothing was found at WP1 to help get us any further.
Once at GZ, the cache was found in a likely but secluded spot. And so was a bike. Well, bits of a bike anyway. Thanks EBC for maintaining this cache.
Signed LTEC. Cache on!

TFTC - just found before the rain came in. The final cache was out in the open and not sealed. Log book a bit wet. Re-hid cache near location but unsure of intended place.
Final cache was out in the open and log book is wet. Muggle attack. Have rehidden but not sure of intended location.

Today the weather was quite windy and with rain showers the muggles were not present. Found WP1 without hassle and punched in the new coords for WP2. Parked closely and got this info for GZ. Off to GZ and then spotted the cache very exposed. It is a wonder it was still intact. Anyhow the log signed and now back safe and not visible.
Thanks Annoying Tarbit for the cache and maintaining of it.

Out on a sunny day, I liked this adventure. Was a great day caching with oshfam. Thank you for the cache.
I was out with Jetsons23 my caching buddy again today. We had completed this multi last year but unfortunately the final was missing.
Today we made our way back here and found the cache nicely tucked away from muggle eyes. We made sure to rehide as found. The cache and log was in good condition.
We were lucky to have good weather today. On the way back to the car I found some pretty yellow flowers growing at the edge of someone’s driveway.
Thank you for the cache here Annoying Tarbit

Cache was indeed missing so I have replaced it. Description adjusted to suit.
Tripple checked co- ords with fellow cacher OSHFAM, 3 of us looked for an hour, no luck.
After the recent DNF I fear this one may be missing. Taking it offline until I can get there to check it out.
It was our first time out since easing of lockdown Covid-19 restrictions. I had SowaMLE and my friend Jetsons23 with me whom I recently convinced to get into caching.
We had no problems at WP1 and found WP2 with ease too. Obtained the information to calculate GZ. At GZ we just couldn’t find the cache even 3 of us and after 1 hour of searching.
A quick PAF to the CO who confirmed we had the right co ords. Perhaps my painful migraine was clouding my vision today. Couldn’t believe we didn’t find such a good sized cache. I hope it was just our searching that let us down and that the cache has not been muggled. We’ll be back.
Thanks anyway Annoying Tarbit

Nice sunny day after the recent cold snowy weather, perfect for caching. Don't understand why more cachers don't do multi s
A perfect day to be out weather wise, and the geoparents went solo on this cache. We believe we’ve now done the whole series...maybe.
We found the first wp with ease, in fact parking was the most difficult task we undertook. Nice!
Reading previous logs, GZ was in great condition today, no problem accessing the sturdy container. We did have a laugh at the size compared to the contents though.
Thank you Annoying Tarbit for this placement.

Luckily for me the right information was at WP1 and I was off to WP2, enjoying my walk along here. I panicked when there weren't any distance signs at WP2, but then I spotted them there all along, just a lot smaller than I was expecting.
It's always great to find an ammo can, and I'm pleased there wasn't any evidence of the area being used as a toilet.
Thanks Annoying Tarbit!

There was some rogue information at WP1 so well done to all those who completed it recently considering that confusion, All fixed up now and good to go.
I was a little bit jinxed with this cache today. Firstly, the closest railway crossing was stuck on, with cars leaving the area left right and centre. I decided to follow suit and used the next one up, which luckily was functioning correctly. I quickly found the waypoint for the next stage. However I must have entered it incorrectly as it took me to somebodies front yard. I didn’t enter, but I was pretty sure there wasn’t going to be a sign there. So I went for a bit of a walk and found a suitable sign 130m away. I was hopeful that it was the correct sign, and glad that GZ was so close, because if I was wrong, it wouldn’t matter. I was correct, and made a find of a great sized cache! Thank you so much for this multi placement Annoying Tarbit
Always on the lookout for multis and regular caches.
This one ticked both boxes.
I must admit I drove to the next waypoint.
Waited out a group of muggles from the BBWC
(Bayside Bush Walking Club)
at GZ.
All quiet after they walked off.
Thanks for the cache Annoying Tarbit.

This cache was a nice and quick one and I enjoyed it, which is great because it was late after work and I needed to work on my streak..... I had no real issues with wp1 at all and it was rather smooth sailing. Wp2 was a complete different matter. The info given to me points me 100m in the wrong direction, so after a bit of aimless wandering I eventually thought about it and arrived at the correct location. Afrer that I gather the information I needed from wp2 and moved to the final. Here is where I experienced my second issue. It seems as if some homeless person has been using gz as a bathroom as there were several waste matter logs all around gz. Other than that had a fun little drive around TFTC and the little difficulties
I head out today to meet up with LEAFOTWIND and find a few caches in the Seaford area before the rain sets in.
This one seemed easy from the start then at the second way-point we think huh? so we went for a walk and after a little looking found what we needed at about 100m from the wp2 location . nice big hide and an old one too TFTC

Another multi that I had attempted many moons ago but couldn't take further as the container at WP1 had gone missing. Our luck was in today because the container was there. The only problem was that the coordinates it sent us too were about 100m away to the east. The saving grace was that we sure were close to the final when we calculated the coords from the information recorded.Nice, sizeable hide with the original log book still in place.
I'd headed to Melbourne on the 5th May for a weekend stay to see Priscilla: Queen of the Desert
Instead there was a mammoth change in my plans when the Corolla suddenly needed new brakes [xx(] which led to needing new tyres [^] which led to needing a new wheel bearing [xx(]
So a weekend turned into almost 3 full weeks and my HUGE thanks to the very patient and tolerant kmace who not only provided accommodation for myself but also for Rex [:X][:X]
Having your home invaded by a rabid geocacher who gets irritated when they have no car to go and find caches because it is in the workshop [xx(] and a pup who shreds his toys all over the house is not an easy ask for a day or two: let alone 20 odd days! [:X]
Rex also loved the beaches and the seagulls so there were many walks on the beach, some in pouring rain and gusting winds but that's what being a dog owner is about [^]
During this time some fantastic caches were found and some adventures occurred [^]
My thanks to all of the COs for the fun and the finds [^]
Day 11 and today was a day that I had the car to travel, so there was 8 geocache attempts for a total of 7 finds and 1 DNF.
Considering the DNF was a Sparra0907 cache and I've cached in Swan Hill before, I didn't feel too bad about it!
Another one of the up the creek series that Rex and I enjoyed
Did our maths, found the cache and have a smiley memory now
Although it sure isn't the end of the series for us, we have a few left to find still

Puzzle solved. Nice creek with ducks surrounding. Found it. Thanks Annoying Tarbit for the multi-cache.
Seeing this one was back again having previously started on it some time ago we were keen to finish it off. No problem with the remainder of the way points and good to see a big ammo can. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
Sorry for the delay. WP1 replaced, WP2 details changed, GZ checked - All stages back in place and good to go.
The host structure at WP1 was removed along with the required information. I have a new plan to put into place here and expect this cache to be back on line by 30th November 2017. Thanks for your patience.
Information missing at WP1. Taking off line until I get a chance to fix it up.
Have enjoyed the "Up the Creek" series and this was the last of the still active ones to collect.
Nice easy multi-cache to find but didn't enjoy the rubbish at the GZ location. Looks like someone could be living near here.
I did enjoyed reading all the old logs and what people used to write 'in the old days', instead of just name and date.
Thanks for the cache Rigger64 & Annoying Tarbit

found it. Nice day for a walk so we did the return trip. Never been here before so thanks for placing a nice multi here.Tftc
After yesterdays 37 degree caching trip I decided to wait until the afternoon after the cool change had come through before I headed out for a couple of hours today.
It was a much more pleasant 25 degrees so I decided to do a few multis and ended up finding 5 and DNFing 1 of them.
I worked out GZ nice and easily and at GZ I stuffed around in the bushes for about 5 minutes and then returned to where I initially looked and there it was staring me in the face! How did I miss that hte first time.
Thanks Annoying Tarbit for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Getting into a bad habit of forgetting to log some caches I've found. I wanted to do multi's to continue with my slight fascination/obsession with them, even though I haven't done a great deal of them. Or it could be the satisfaction of finding these containers. WP1 found in no time, saw the structure in front of me and thought, surely it has to be there. Onto WP2 and because I had seen the hints already, I figured I would try and go straight to the cache instead of taking a seat. Picked up a trail and spotted a big one! I used this size for my 1st cache and they are not easy to hide! Signed the log and covered back up as best I could. A great multi.
Thanks Rigger64 and Annoying Tarbit for this one.

Checking the map between work and home I spotted this little sucker that I had never attempted. I'll be honest here and admit that I cut a few corners too. Made a few guesstimates and I had a GZ to check out. Instead of hurtling past on the Nepean Highway I took a small diversion this morning to take a look. The ground underfoot was a little damp from the overnight rain but I proceeded in my work shoes. Headed to a likely spot and bingo the good sized cache was spotted. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Rigger64.

I started this cache on my way to work on Tuesday. On my bicycle ride to work I turned into Armstrongs Road from the Beach Road. I stopped in the vicinity of the place to get the clue for the next waypoint, then saw I didn't need to do so. The container was very exposed. I grab the details and rode off to work. The next day on my ride to work I stopped at WP2 and grabbed the details I needed to work out GZ. Today, I drove to work. I went out at lunch time to get another cache for the day but didn't find it. So I decided to come back to this multi to find the container. Didn't realise the cache was so close to WP2. I stood in the area thinking about the snakes that could be here. I stamped the ground, threw things into the area I wanted to go and made my way through. Scary stuff! But determination got me through and I found the cache. Oh What a feeling!! TFTC
No-one in the log for 6 months!? Geez. Pleased to have finally laid hands on one of these big beefy containers that feature so prominently in geo-mythology. Nice one, thanks!
WP1 was a quick retrival and it was off to WP2. A bit f counting and a likely set of co-ords was in hand. After a bit of a hunt around in the wrong area I re-visited my calculated co-ords and shortly thereafter I found the cache. Great cache container, love these! Signed the log and replaced, thanks Rigger64!

Tonight I had a very specific mission. I had lined up three unloved caches that, if all went to plan, would get me over the line for the Spread the Love challenge. After some close calls, I managed to find all three of the caches. Its quite surprising that these are actually unloved, but there we go. The drive was relatively simple, and it made me wonder why I don't visit these parts more often. This was the first of the three finds for tonight.
This one was nice and simple, showing off quite a nice area. In past I've had haunted memories of Kannanook Creek, but slowly I am overcoming these fears of mozzies .
To be honest, I was extremely surprised that this one hadn't been muggled. The cache had been left completely in view from the path, albeit covered up from the non-path side!
The ammo can was extremely stiff, which one would expect from an unloved cache.
Thanks to Rigger64 for the cache, not long to go until I've completed the challenge now....

Found this one today. I can confirm that all the waypoints are present and in order. I was hoping to get some unloved days on this one but am not sure that I will get them as there is a log in the logbook from Feb 2014 but the online log is in December 2014. WP1 took a bit of hunting as soon as I arrived at an empty carpark another muggle car arrived almost at the same time. So I was trying to avoid the muggles and looked somewhere but didn't see it so expanded my search a bit and came back to the original spot I was looking and looked from a different angle and there it was. WP2 and GZ were really easy and quick finds for both of them. I have enjoyed the journey along the creek so this one gets a favourite point from me. Signed log today but didn't swap anything.
Thanks for the cache Rigger64.
Thanks for the cache Rigger64.
Will be Checking on this one in the next couple of days & possibly fixing it @ the same time when i check on it.
Needs maintenance. Hasent been found since bridge roadworks and winder if has been mugged??
Has not been found since roadworks on bridge has replaced most infrastructure. We could not locate. Maybe muggled by workers??
After gathering all of the clues and doing the math, the cache was easily located on this quiet sunny day. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kems
Nice multi.
Sad to see the end of this series. (Although we've still got number4 to conquer).
Thanks Rigger64.

What a great find. WP1 was very easy, but as I am new it took me a while figuring out how to punch in manual GPS coordinates into my phone. Got there in the end! TFTC . Took geocoin & TB. Added TB, signed log and returned cache and camo'd.

Find #444
The container at Wp1 was in an obvious place. Cachers sure make good use of these pieces of infrastructure.
I was then off to Wp2 where parking co-ords were provided also. I appreciate that. A quick calculation produced the co-ords for GZ, the location of which took me by surprise. A quick find ensued as the container was somewhat visible from about 3 metres away. I fixed that by adding more camo before I left. SL TFTC Left 3 trackables.

Found on an impromptu caching day with BorisB&Natasha. Love finding big containers! and nice end to a series. Took TB. Thanks Rigger64 for the cache and for bringing me here.
Although Pea bear & I still have a few in the series to complete we couldn't resist doing this one while in the area. With the calculations done we were off to GZ. Cache was easily spotted as it had lost a lot of its covering but after signing the log we made sure it wasn't as exposed. Thanks Rigger64 for this cache & hope to finish off the series very soon.
A little cold and wet tonight but it keeps the muggles and mozzies away. The cache was snug and safe although there were a couple of discarded dog-poo bags to avoid in the long wet grass on the way to gz.

Another Monday night comes around and I have just arrived back from a great non-caching weekend near Benalla. Blacklegend is on his way down from Tocumwal and is ready to roll on a great route planned for The Demolition Crew. As Quasar3671 is moving north to Brisbane later tonight, the crew only have a few hours together for what was to be a great night's run down to Mornington.
With Quasar3671 having to leave at about 8 pm, the third spot for the night appeared out of the blue in the form of RebelActs who was looking to do some night caching on his own before he called me and asked to join in. Absolutely I say, and he is soon on the way to Seaford to catch us there. The run started in central Melbourne with the members of TDC who hadn't collected Magnum Opus signing the log (All the members of TDC have now complete the Danozz puzzle series!).
This cache was one of the caches I signed tonight. I had worked out the finals for this one some time ago, but it was only tonight I had the chance to look. It was found quickly and signed. Thanks.

WP1 was a quick find in a familiar hiding place, GZ a bit far for a walk (lazy bones!) so I drove up and parked nearby. Walking back I found a muggle on the chair so I walked past then sneaked back to make the find. Left Trackabulldog TB TFTC (I more for me to get for the series I think)
Another neat little hide, no muggles about today so it was found pretty quickly.
Many thanks for the hide................TNLNSL.
