Out and about with Barnzy12, catching up on logging from the last 2 weeks. Either as i didn't have reception on phone to load up a cache or didn't have an archived saved list. TFTH TFTC
Had some spare time today so decided to tackle some archived caches and came up trumps on a fair few of them.
Was a fair drive into this one and a good find here after consulting the hint. About no chance this will ever get muggled

The plan was to hit Mt. Dale for a picnic lunch & of course we had to find a few caches along the way... Prior homework had shown that this cache should be still in place, so it was put on the list This cache was another quick find after a couple of circles of the area...

Well after finding Roo Poo Rock we headed to the Mount Dale cache and heading back the way we came we saw a sign facing us that said we needed permission to enter the area!! I did not see anything like that coming from the other way!
Anyway deciding that now we knew, we couldn't return that way. So we ended up coming past this cache. Thanks for another fantastic ammo can to find. These are great and they last so well. This one is in very good condition.
Well done Mischief's crew

Great spot here. Saw this one pop up on the GPSr as I was driving down from Mt Dale, so stoped off to make the grab. So glad these old caches are still here - this one is n excellent condition.

We were out this way following some back roads to Mt Dale and came across this one so decided to pull over. This paperbark tree is a lot bigger than many of the others I have seen. It was a quick find and always nice to find an ammo box.

Second cache found on Easter Sunday with Captain Mudflinger in a lovely spot off the road amongst some huge old trees. Great spot to hide it!! Took lizard left R2D2.
Found today whilst out on a 4wd trip with friends. Took a while to locate GZ but made sense when we did.

Took a little bit of hunting before we put our hands on it, but got it eventually

Nice drive up to Mt Dale today.
Clever hiding spot. The hollow was actually full of water, but the container and contents were fine.

We decided to make our own long weekend this weekend after working the last weekend. We were headinng to camp at Yornanning Dam for the weekend with friends. Then maybe down to Wagin for the Woolarama.
So up this morning 38degrees again so we packed up camp fairly early as our long weekend had come to an end.
This was on the todo list for our trip up/down but we were running out of time again. Hmmm do we have time sure why not? We had to be back by 3.30pm for a Chiropractors appointment! Quick dash in/out today.
Tomtom navigated to the cache no problems at all. Easily done in the Geocruiser although might not be as easy in the winter. Cache is all good.

we found on a day of geocaching with my spouse. its a good thing I did'nt trust my car GPS cause it wanted me to take the long way around but when I saw the dirt road I thought maybe it will work and I was right. It saved me 20 kms of detour.
I'm glad I did it was a great spot , felt like a haunted forest.Took the inscence and left an olympic pin. TFTC.

Out for a drive on the back roads on this Tuesday public holiday. I had been trying to get satellites on my GPS since halfway down Ashendon Rd from Mundaring Weir, and they just locked on 700m before this cache, so we stopped straight away to find it. Well, the GPS was doing a bit of a dance and I must have looked quite funny walking back and forth, but I eventually found the cache.
Lovely spot, and I needed to stretch my legs so it was a perfect time for a break. Thanks for the cache Mischief's Crew!

Out with my Brother in Law today, we are doing small parts of the Bib Track most weekends, getting ready to do a much bigger segment later in the year. Today, a short stint from Mt Dale car park to the Mt Dale hut and back, the diff this time was that he had his full backpack on.
Anyway, this was the 1st of 3 in the area, enjoyed the location, a fine stand of paperbarks. Cache was in water, but contents were fine.
A good selection of swaps, but we took nothing and left nothing.
Many thanks for a chance to stop here.

Followed the arrow along the dirt trails till we got to near gz. Lots of people along the way collecting firewood. Thanks Mischief's Crew & 3BlindEyes
I have noticed this 'grove' several times in my trips along this road, but not taken the time to stop and investigate it. The trees are just beautiful . An interesting hiding spot too! Made swaps, but don't remember what. Thank's again to Mischief's Crew for the cache.
A very peacefull grove along the way. L: Commander Plastico TB, T: Czech Republic GC. TFTH.
Very nice grove. Rectandular areas cut into the bark of the paperbarks -- people who have used the bark for traditional (or "traditional") bark paintings. Bark paintings were very fashionable -- 30 years ago.
Whoo our first first to find.....
Great little area we visit often.
Dad's day treat..
T:FF card and timer.
L:TB and 50 pence

Went out with Mischief's Crew today for some cache hiding. Jude spotted a nice tree which turned out to be a really nice grove, so we walked around for a while searching for a good location, and Gavin soon found a great spot to hide an ammo can.
