A nice quick find here of an archived cache in good condition. Shame it's archived but I really love finding these caches that "aren't on the map anymore"
Today's caching run to the wheatbelt had been a week or so in the making, with the plan to finally knock over the last of the caches south of great eastern highway with a 5am start and a huge days driving planned. Plans were set, rations sorted, and at 5pm on Friday the phone dings! 10 new wheatbelt science trail caches published all south of great eastern highway in the wheatbelt.
Plans were changed and arrangements made. To ensure we got them all we met up with mrs OOH YEH to grab a couple of the closer ones near Northam as they were at risk of having people chasing them, so FTFs were made late into Friday night.
Saturday was a slightly later start, with a 6am meet at Cockburn gateways to then continue where we left off. We headed down brookton highway and grabbed three archived caches that have been taunting us for far too long. We made it to brookton and headed out to grab the caches around yenyening lakes which we were FTF for so felt reasonably safe that we wouldn't have any competition.
We then made our way down to pingelly and made a quick find there of a novel cache! And continued down towards the dryandra area and grabbed all three FTFs out there before heading towards the "real wheatbelt"!
Continuing along the highways we stopped in Narrogin for fuel and food and continued along to collect the two WST lake multi caches which were most enjoyable.
We meandered around some of the lost remote
Towns were seen before ending up in Kulin to grab the cache at the waterslide there which is quite impressive up close before heading for a big detour to find Kalgarin nature reserve which we drove straight past on our last visit to the wheatbelt due to time constraints to be back in Perth! Easy find this time although an 80km detour!!
We finally were on the home stretch back to Perth with one last FTF stop in Corrigin to complete the 10/10 Wheatbelt FTFs!
Another stop in at Kweda School site multi to end the days proceedings and we were struggling big time to make any sense of the numbers on show. Eventually after walking the bush aimlessly we resorted to bush skills and general nous and found the cache not all that far from where we were looking. We still can't make any sense of the multi here but happy ton have the smiley.
Can't wait to be back out this way again soon to finally knock over the caches in Narembeen which have been on the to do list for some time. Thanks to the local COs for a great day out.

Happy to say it is still in place

I have been quite actively seeking out archived caches lately as it is quite a thrill to find caches that are off the radar! This was one that was handy to the area I was in and I thought I would have a wee look to see if I could find it. Yep, still there and able to be signed. WOOHOO! .

The plan was to hit Mt. Dale for a picnic lunch & of course we had to find a few caches along the way... We have driven by this area a few times before but made the effort to stop today This lonely cache was found after a brief search of the area...

On a mission to dispose of a death adder today, I decided to grab a few Wandoo caches and some others as well. This one wasn't on the radar because I hadn't checked for archived caches - however, I noticed it on my GPSr after I pulled up near the entrance. Walked up to the top of he rock first, then made my down to GZ. Took a few minutes to find the cache, but find it I did.
SL. TNLN Thanks for the hide Mischief's Crew ... I went and hid one of my own not far from here after signing the log so that cachers who don't monitor archived caches will have a reason to venture up onto the rock.

Tried looking for Death Adder Creek before coming here. This is a nice rock to explore in the spring. Just started to rain as we got back to the car. Love this spot.
Traveled the Brookton Highway, to make a start on the Wandoo Series.
Picked this one up as part of our travels.
We really enjoyed this area, with the bonus of the scent from the wildflowers making it magical.
We consider this to be a 'must do' cache and a favourite point from us.
Many thanks for showing this to us, Mischief's Crew.

Great cache. On a caching holiday with J+J.au from N.S.W. I'm now back home and catching up on my logs. Enjoying the variety of caches and locations shown to us here. Found this one as part of our cache hunt. . SL..TFTC
This is an amazingly beautiful spot, all the wild flowers and the rock formation. Fav point from us. TFTC
TNLN great find lovely walk had a great day out grabbing a few caches with the Lester Lot and Nieshnelle.
Found with lalest while out trying to find as many of the wandoo series caches as possible. Most of these were rather easy which was good when trying to find so many in one session and had a great time in doing so. What a cool spot.
we nearly got the big marble to roll off down the hill but it was a bit slippery from the rain.

Tftc a great spot and nice to have a walk after driving a lot of the day (or caching the day on the wandoo series lol). Left geocoin.
So happy to have found this cache in such a lovely location! Just what what we needed after spending an hour trying to find our first FTF up the road!
Have taken the Porche Panamera as were heading on a road trip this little car just has to join.

Doing the wandoo series today darted in for this one while in the area really enjoyed the view TFTC!
Was in the area and thought we could duck in and grab this one. Enjoyed the scene from this one. TFTC SL and left Path Tag.
Don't know about OCHD, but we have OCFD (obsessive compulsive finding disorder). Was pouring down with rain while we were here today, but it was fun. Definitely proves we are crazy... Took nothing, left a travelbug. Will return another day to explore some more. TFTC
[:(!] Did a morning caching run with Akshay.in to get a bit more of the Wandoo Series done, we also fitted this cache in along the way, parked the car close as possible to GZ and we walked in from there to cache, within a couple of minutes we had the little blighter in hand. TNLNSL TFTC/TFTH
We found the access to the carpark barricaded by a large tree, so left the geovehicle alongside the road and enjoyed the walk across the rock to GZ. A spectacular location for a cache. Thanks for providing us with a great excuse to investigate this area. TFTC Mischief's Crew Well worth a favourite from us!
A gr8 find! Dont know if it was a Wandoo series or not, but a WONDERFUL place to hide! TFTC
On a nice sunny day I took the opportunity to do more of the Wandoo Series and finish off AlliedOz’s section which I started on the release day. I’m now about halfway having completed Keego and Chil’s section earlier in the month. A variety of caches and hides made for great caching.
I pick up some other caches along the way. Nice walk through the bush the huge ball shaped rocks are amazing. Took the Duck Geocoin.
Thanks Mischief's Crew.

We were out with iluvtrekking to make an assault on the Wandoo power trail series and of course we couldn't resist being side-tracked to tackle a cache with such a tempting moniker - obsessed, not us!
Beautiful area to place a cache and the rock formations so intriguing. With overnight rainfall evident it was slippery making our way to gz, but were rewarded with a smiley and a fabulous view of the surrounds. So glad we were tempted.

richlink & iluvtrekking - making an assault on the fabulous Wandoo Series are too obsessive compulsive to drive by this cache without stopping. The wet rocks looked spectacular glistening in the week early morning sun, well worth the diversion, thank you.
Heading down south for the Mother's Day weekend, we took advantage of the perfect treasure hunting weather to stop and stretch our legs, as well as those of the geokid and the geodogs, along the way. This was our first hunt, and first find of the day. We missed the carpark, but after a short wander through the bush, we came across the rocks. The geodogs must be part geogoat, because they absolutely loved running up and down them! We spied the missed carpark from the top.

While out on a trip to Beverley we decided to Scout this one out. We we arrived at the parking area we saw a stretch limo parked close by. Chil then spotted a bridal party getting their photos taken ontop of the rock, hmmmmm hope they are not near GZ. After a quick walk and a little climb we had the GZ within our sights and no Bridal party. Chil spotted this one 1st. A very nice spot for a cache, the way we came was easy in the dry but I would be treacherous when wet. SL TFTC TNLN thanks for bringing us here Mischief's Crew
found it on our 2nd try we were interupted by some mugles on our first visit.

After a lightening visit to this part of WA to attend the 100th year celebrations of my little primary school out in the wheatbelt, I took the time out to grab a few caches that were nearby as I headed back to Perth and a flight home to Adelaide.
I have passed by this rock a thousand times in my life but have never stopped until now. A short walk from the highway, across the small creek, up the rock and ta-dah – a cache [^]. Nice one. Thanks for giving me a reason to stop and finally see this area. No swaps. Cheers .

THIS WAS A FUNNY TRIP. WE WERE COMING FROM A CACHE OFF DALE RD. AS WE USED THE GPS FOR GUIDENCE WE ENDED UP DEEP IN THE BUSH ON A TRACK THAT WAS RATHER BUMPY. GOT TO A POINT AND REALIZED THAT WE NEEDED TO WALK THE REST, BUT ALAS NO TRAILS TO WALK ON. SO WE DROVE OUT TO THE MAIN GRAVEL TRACK AND ONTO BROOKTON HWY. REALIZED THAT IT WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROAD, SO WE WOULDNT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET IT FROM THE BUMPY TRACK WE WERE ORIGINALLY ON.
STILL IT WAS FUN AND PART OF THE ADVENTURE :O)
TOOK - COLLECTABLE SPOON, LEFT -THONG KEYRING

Definitely took some hunting around - so many potential hiding places. Great scenery, thanks for the cache!
What a fabulous spot, great rocks and lovely views! Not much more to say than that - it's just great!
Last cache of the day on our 2nd wedding anniversary. Great spot. Grabbed kleiner TB. Think its been sitting in this cache long enough. TFTC.
Very nice area. Was driving on Brookton highway many times and was not aware of this spot. Thank you. TFTC
Awesome location, had been past the area many times with no idea it existed. many thanks for bringing to my attention.

Nice climb and easy find. I should have paid attention to the location of its neighbor as I returned to the car between searches, when it would have been easier to keep going on.
Great place this one the rocks are fantastic found this one had a glass of wine and enjoyed the view took key ring left car air freshner signed log. thanks for this one.
Awesome spot, we found it in between showers and it was tempting to see if I could slide down the wet rockface (maybe a few year ago I might've given it a shot).

Drove past the rocks on my way to an orienteering event this weekend and thought that would be a cool cache location. On the way back I checked to see if there were any caches close to the road and this one poppedup. Parked the car and wandered out onto the rocks. Got to 50 metres away from the GZ when the awful iPhone GPS suddenly decided I was 100 km away!! Never mind - I had a good idea of where to look. Nice little hide. TNLN SL TFTH
What a cool area! Another one of those beauty spots we would have driven past were it not for caching.
GPSr was playing up a bit but we decided up was best and it would soon sort itself out. Luckily it did while we enjoyed the view and made a quick find.

Nice stop on the way out of Perth to the East. Have been here before a few years ago. TNLN, Thanks
My first visit to this area. It's a pity they have shut down the picnic area now, but there were heaps of black cockatoos around, enjoying a water hole. Found the cache without trouble, then went to join my friends for some rock climbing. Thanks for the cache!
What a splendid outcrop of rocks here. Great spot to sit and contemplate and admire the views. Nice easy find again. Left The Agent TB to spy out the area. Thanks for another hunt Mishchief's Crew.
Second geocach for the day, and plenty of muggles on the boulders in their cars, but they didn't see us.

This was the second cache in the area we did while out here. The rock looks like it would be a nice place to sit and ponder the world is it wasnt for the worry of your car being parked out one the nearby highway just far enough so you wouldnt know if someone was checking it out. They should reopen some of these picnic areas so was can enjoy them fully.
Today was a wonderful winter day no rain and cool for walking.
We took the Candle charm kit and added the Tape dispenser in a zip lock bag.
coordinates were spot on.

i had a gratr time with the tics and roos the cache is all fine took nothing TFHT:)
Robots 1 and 3 had a great 'rocking' time finding this one on our Good Friday caching expedition. Took nothing, left a few items, and signed log. Thanks Mischief's Crew for bringing us to this great location!
I agree - you do . An quick find after parking just off the highway on a track that CALM have closed access. The walk in was through some really interesting bush, and then up the basre (and steep) rock face. A quick find while enjoying the spot. T: book, L: 3 or 4 small items. Thanks to Mischief's Crew for another cache.
Thanks Mischief's Crew for bringing me out to this area, it was rather surreal with the rocky outcrops.
A small breeze made for a pleasant walk over the rocks, bit alas it was not strong enough to deter the flys on this day, and man there was some flys!
Including some really big suckers, when they landed on you it was like a small bird bumped into you.
The GPS was a little off and was telling me "Right Here" while i was standing on solid rock bed, so i zeroed in on the Xanthorrhoea australis near by as I know how you love them, but to my surprise it was not there, but only about a foot away from it
Took: I break for Geocachers badge for my backpack
Left: A handful of snakes, so please dont freak out when you open the cache!

Another nice easy one and great breeze up on the rock. This is an amazing geological feature. Took hot wheels car and left gross guinness records book.
Found after a stroll around the area. The creek is still flowing but I guess for not much longer as the warmer weather arrives.
Found on way home from Abyssinia Rock. This place is amazing - and I left the camera in the car!!! Will have to return to capture the incredible boulders. Retrieved Urch's Maneki Neko Cat GC and left a Casino chip. Thanks for showing us this awesome area, which we must have driven by hundreds of times! TFTHSL
I hope this works this time. Billy the Geomutt and I visited today, our first cache in about 16 months. Yesterday was a failure as I had the GPS set up incorrectly but today I got the hang of it. Many thanks for the cache.
Took puppy stickers, left pencil leads and something else - cant remember what!

Second go at logging this! Had it all typed up last night but when I tried to "Submit" our internet provider had an outage and we lost it all!! Grrr.
We found the cache without any hassles - great spot - good views. Only drama was that we got soaked in a downpour!!
Also found a GC (Nefertiti Trakabulldog Geocoin) that is supposedly still in the UK and by my recollection we were only the second log entry so I'm not sure who or how it got there!! Maybe someone can shed some light for us!
Thanks for the cache, Mischief's Crew.

Drove out this afternoon on the off chance that it was still unfound and although there had been another cacher in the area today the logbook was still blank. I used to stop here all the time and climb the rock but rarely drive out this way now.
Claimed FTF and signed log. Then off I went to the other nearby cache.

Went out with Mischief's Crew today for some cache hiding. I showed them the granite outcrop where the archived cache "Life is a Rock!" used to be. They really liked the area, and so did I as I hadn't been here before either. We walked around for a while searching for a good location, and Jude and Gavin soon found a good spot to hide another cache.
