Nice little find while road tripping with friends, found it but forgot my pen so couldnt sign Can send a photo of the change to CO if needed!TFTC!!
Unfortunately did not find this one.The grey brick has been moved so it may have been muggled.
Couldnt find today, already had wet feet from the morning dew so wimped out from looking in the obvious place.
Made the find and then had to make a quick dash as a large group came in to have a look around the cemetery. Thanks for the find!
Easy find in a quiet and historic place. TFTC. First in NZ. Visiting on board Crown Princess bound for Sydney. From Keller, TX
That was quite interesting. Thankyou from USA, Oregon. I left you one of my signature tags.
Only one day in Paihia, so hunted for this cache as the sun was setting. It was a little difficult to find, but I located it with the help of the hint. Thanks for the information about the mission that was here. Interesting gravestones, too. TFTC (:
TFTC enjoyed poking around this historical place. An old fence is made of many posts, we found
Didnt find it! Very overgrown and hard to explore with little ones. Hopefully its still there.
Together with Schatoh68 I made a wonderful trip, discovering Paihia. Nice place, thank you for this cache, that brought me to such a nice spot of this beautiful bay.
Together with Birba68 we took a little walk at the cimetery and found the Cache.Thank you
Wandered around the graveyard and found its hiding place. TFTC Greetings from South Australia
We enjoyed a bit more history here with some interesting stories on the stones
In town for a little shopping and eating after a few days in the islands. And time to head behind the church and find this. Thanks.
TFTC! We anchored and came to shore for food and this cache. We found it pretty quickly, signed the second log and RAF. This is a busy cache!

Pretty sure this is gone. Found a couple of plastic toys but no container. The lovely lady who lives in the camper next door pointed out where it should be and she agreed it was missing.
Interesting place, thanks for showing. Nobody watched us from the campground nearby. But the long nails from the fence could be a challenge. TFTC forestcats on world cruise 2024
This was slightly spoiled for me, as a lady living in a caravan nearby, pointed it out before I had barely begun to search but she meant well. The log is full, and if somebody could take a sheet of paper with them, that'd be good. I'm visiting NZ while on a world cruise aboard Silver Shadow. We're less than a month in, with about four months to go.Thanks for the cache.
Our trip in the north started and here are a very special place at a special day .you can feel the spirit here. Thanks for bringing here
First find in NZ, easternmost and southernmost find to date so of course it earns a favorite! Enjoyed the aroma of freshly mown grass after 4 sea days on Viking Neptune round the world cruise. TFTC!
The McArgister whnau are in town for a few days and while Mrs & Mum McArgister finished off our fish n chips dinner, Mini & Micro joined me here. We spent a while trying to find the oldest gravestone to wait out a muggle (I think we got to the 1860s) but then got to work and made the find higher up than I was expecting. The log is full but we squeezed out initials on. Thanks for the memorable cache!
On a welcome summer break in Northland, a first time for us. Of course, geocaching is a wonderful way to visit historic sites and places of beauty and interest. Thank you for bringing us here. TFTCFind count: 2559
Some campers were in easy eyesight. But a still nice place to visit and explore a little.
Dear Owner, please excuse the one-size-fits-all log, but we will try to summarize our experiences in a few words, which is almost impossible in this beautiful country. Our route took us from Frankfurt am Main via London and Hong Kong to Auckland, where we spent 3 wonderful weeks on the North Island of New Zealand. After spending the first two days at the other end of the world in Auckland to get used to the 12-hour time difference, we spent the rest of the time criss-crossing the island in our fantastic camper van. The nature and landscape here is simply uniquely beautiful. We drove a good 2500km, saw beautiful, lonely beaches, visited impressive waterfalls, were at the foot of a volcano, visited ancient trees and enjoyed the wonderful views of nature again and again. Of course, we also searched for, found and logged a few geocaches along the way, looked at geolgical features and tried to complete the owner's tasks. For us, it was an all-round perfect vacation that we will remember for a very long time and we will certainly come back here again if we can. Thanks to the owner and best wishes from Germany Fantalismus
Well it's meant to be summer but it's a crappy evening overcast misty and wet. We parked near by and started the walk on the path which was all good until the path finished and we had wet grass to walk across. Well we soon had wet shoes and wet socks. Got to gz only to find people camping on other side of fence. We think we were very lucky here that we put our hands on the cache so quickly while being as discrete as possible. Thank you TheWonderStuff for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 4973
The last of our Christmas Day finds after a leisurely stroll around the headland, rock-pooling as we went. Back to Paihia via the road we called in for this one. Lovely church. Didnt see the stained glass windows. We didnt venture near the building on its special day. TFTC
Found with a little encouragement and help from the lady on the neighbouring property. I note that the log is now full. TFTC
