Thought I might check out all these archived caches. Will drop notes on each one and update if cache is there or notHad a good poke around in all the usual spots but didnt even find any remnants of it so its gone, gone, gone!
Blacklisted and locked 2012-13. As was his relation TreMichLan. This cache is never going to be maintained by the owner, and as its in such poor condition.
Manaia was blacklisted and locked 2012-13. As was his relation TreMichLan. This cache is never going to be maintained by the owner, and as its in such poor condition it should be archived, so someone else can replace it with a maintained permanent cache.
Unfortunately the container and contents are so deteriorated that I could not sign the log but it was still fun to find it. Thanks for setting the cache.
Spent last night in New Plymouth after running a work golf tournament here yesterday. Decided to take a leisurely route home and grab a few caches on the way.
First time caching up this way. What a beautiful spot and just me and a couple of fishermen enjoying it this morning. Cache was a quick find. Dropped a trackable. TFTC

Last time my daughter and I searched and searched and we could not find it! Today with a fresh set of eyes, practically walked straight to cache and grabbed it. Glad to get this one done!! TFTC.
Here on vacation with SwagHo from Canada, sight seeing, geocaching and visiting beautiful New Zealand.TFTC.

Very wet cache but we dried it out. Good thing it has plasticized paper. Nice view and big tree. Here with HennyGeo on holidays from Vancouver Island, BC, Canada in scenic New Zealand TFTC
Had a good look around with my daughter. But unfortunately no luck today. Maybe next time.
Took me far too long as I didn't interpret clue correctly. Nice spot for a coffee break on our way back to tauranga. Thanks for the cache
Nice quick find and sign ...placed a new water proof log as the cache is in a sad state of repair req's urgent maintenance tftc
Finally found this one. Unfortunately way to wet to sign (so photo of cache attached), couldn't even get the log out of the bag. Will need maintenance.
Found on our April Holidays Road Trip. Day one, Wellington to Onaero. Day two Onaero to Kawhia via coast road, sort of.
Log a bit damp but CO has not visited since 2012 and is currently locked, it may be worth someone replacing the log to keep this cache going.

Banian and I found this cache on our autumn northern roadtrip- where we did a circuit of the north island from Wellington right up to Raglan, then across to Napier through Taupo, before heading home, finding masses of caches and discovering a plethora of unique and interesting locations.
First find of the day- just down the road from our accommodation up the hill. Quick find, fantastic views, TFTC

Easy find . Log book etc a bit wet. May need some attention. Beautiful spot
Our 200th find!!!! A cool milestone reached in an unbelievable spot. It is gorgeous.
A lovely beach and warm water kept us distracted for a good hour before we got to the task of finding the cache. Some 'taking of photos' helped our disguise from nearby muggles. Driven past here hundreds of times always needing to just 'get there to either Hamilton or New Plymouth. Never taking time to stop but super happy that we stopped today. Thanks for setting this cache here. A favourite for us due to awesome location.

#10481. Although we had to get to Auckland today, we still had time for some short side trips. Good to stretch the legs at this interesting wee beach. TFTC.
One of 28 caches found en route from New Plymouth to Auckland. Many thanks to all the COs for their cache placements which made for an enjoyable, though long day.
An interesting wee detour down to the beach. Looks like erosion is a problem here. Didn't take long to find the cache once we looked in the right place. Log book damp but signable. TFTC.

We had big plans for today. We went up to Waitomo. This one was the first cache for today on our way. A short walk to the beach and because of the good clue it was a quick find. After this we enjoyed the beautiful view and went on up the coast.
TFTC!

Thanks for bringing us down to this lovely beach - great where geocaching takes us! Nice spot for a hide, TFTC
Nice spot! Quick find with tandthetroupes! Cache is quite damp, but still writable! Thanks for the spot!
A lovely day for a walk on the beach, quick stroll and suspected that things might have been covered up by a nearby development, but after checking the clue its Mission accomplished, this one is a wrap.TFTC! Blenheim Bear. Cache was a bit wet but log well wrapped and still dry enough to sign.

Great spot, enjoyed our short walk around Onaero coast and the reserve. Thank you
An unexpectedly gentle afternoon sent me out caching. This beach has suffered some heavy seas since I was last here but the cache was still safe if a little damp. TFTC
Gorgeous spot for a cache. Log book is quite wet, I emptied out the water in container and replacee the plasyic bag.
On a six day sortie though the lower North Island with the primary reason being to pick up the CANZ caches we need to complete the North Island half of the challenge.
On our way home caching on the way. Short detour to get this one. Someone was fishing just around the point and a muggle was mowing his lawns otherwise we had the place to ourselves. Bet there are big waves in here when the westerly blows. Mr S finally made the find after quite a bit of hunting around the hint object. It was well hidden., but there was no TB in the cache.
Thanks Manaia. Another smilie on the road home.

Love this beach.... Got married just up the road and had our photos taken here TFTC
Lovely spot. I had my wedding photos taken here years ago, so a nice memory to return to. A gloriously sunny day - only a few muggles with dogs or swimming.
on our long holiday to taranaki and back to gisborne, a loop track. Gem has dreamt of this place before.... how awesome.

This was a spare of the moment stop on the way to New Plymouth from Hamilton. I'm glad we popped in to grab this cache as we would have otherwise missed this great little beach. It was hot sunny day and there were only a handful of people around. The beech around the corner only had one person on it! The cache was a little larger than I was expecting and we swapped some swag. I covered the cache better than I found it. Thanks for placing it.
Lovely day for a geocach at Onaero beach were the sea was like a lake, great spot for a bit of geocach!
Day #1 of a 3 day road trip to the Taranaki.
A bit of searching and the cache was eventually uncovered!
Thanks!

Great find! Nice and hidden. My partners grand parents live here so when we discovered that there was one here we were so surprised and happy!
Day 3 of the KiwiFruitsNZ/Vamber road trip saw us head back to Auckland, picking up some more lonely caches and some D/T combinations to help us with our GIO License requirements.
A quick find as the rain and wind started to settle in.

The last day of our trip down to Taranaki with KiwifruitsNZ, saw us heading on our way back home to Auckland, picking up some solved puzzles and lonely caches on the way to meet the requirements for the GIO Licence series.
Not really appropriate weather for caching today, but the perserverance pushed through. A relatively straightforward find at GZ. Thanks for the cache!

I grew up at this beach and have seen this tree many a times. I cant believe that all these years there has been buried treasure. Most exciting cache I have found.
travelling back towards the Taranaki Land Wars Multi, after DNF at the Mimi Multi; this cache took a while to find and certainly wasn't where i expected it, either! . TFTC.
Fifth find of the day on my round Taranaki roadtrip. Lovely spot. No internet or GPS here, but fortunately I'd written down the details. Not quite where I thought it'd be but an easy find no less. Not a lot in here so added a bottle opener & "doll". TFTC.
A beautiful summers day on this visit, with a visit to Onaeros 'Secret Garden'. tftc
Found it quickly but a resident has observed several times people going to this corner for a while and returning .... and today he wanted to know the reason why...he didn't see the precise hiding place but we had to explain that it's for a game. We think he's content with the answer now and will not be a danger for the cache. TFTC!
What a beautiful spot! Son spotted cache by needed me to retrieve it. Finally made it to 800 caches after several DNFs this morning.
Could see all the way to Kairiori (by Raglan) in the Waikato today. Kids very impressed.

I would not call this a beach, more a rocky costal place. Fast found due to a very precise hint (instruction to find). TFTC
I searched and searched and thought that it had been muggled. But then what's that I spied out of the corner of my eye. It's the cache!!!
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Took a wee bit to find this. Looked in a few places but no luck. Tried a bit further afield and quickly laid hold of it. Another wonderful setting. Thanks for the cache.
First one found all by ourselves with NO help whatsoever from other Geoers!
