Oh, that explains why we did not find it. Oh, well enjoyed the back street tour around town anyway.
JABs.
JABs.
The muggles have apparently been hard at work on this one and the geocache site is no longer available. So, the consequence is that it has to be archived. Pity, it has been in place for so long. It seems one bad egg can spoil it for everyone else. Thank you to everyone who has visited this cache over the years. I will have to work on getting a few more up and going in Dalby. Cheers to you all, Speedmistress
We looked in all the likely places without luck, including finding one of the caps on the ground.
No luck today
Had the whole family out looking for it but I’m guessing someone has taken it
Checked all the spots I thought it might be in
Maybe I wasn’t looking hard enough

An epic roadtrip was planned from Brisbane North to Brisbane South to Toowoomba to Dalby to Crows Nest to Nanango, and home again. This one fit within our giant circumnavigation of the earth (well that's what it felt like!) and I was delighted that my 12 year old decided to join me, as did Captain Terror. Of course, what happens on tour stays on tour, but I thoroughly enjoyed the day - the laughs, the company and the caches.
I have a special interest in old caches - this one included! And so do my travelling companions, so we jointly decided to stop off for this one. A quick find here

I’ve loved bottle trees since childhood and here you brought me to a whole street of them. Thank you. Visiting Dalby overnight on my way to the Roma Easter Festival. Decided to take a morning run-walk to find some smileys. TFTC
I found your cache with my Dad, Oddiewan and most of the time, Semik. I am way behind on logging so learned how to use templates so I can catch up. Sorry this is not a detailed log, but I will do better with my logging now that I have the ability to log caches on a mobile phone. Thanks for the cache Speedmistress
Caching with my main squeeze, Oddiewan , BitternA4, and our new little geopup. A really neat spot caching has brought us to. Loved the little book library across the street. We stopped in to grab some lunch on our way home from gem/coal fields up north. Nice and easy parking for our car and caravan while took an easy stroll. Cache in good condition despite log being a little bit tattered from getting caught in the threads.
Thanks for the fun, Speedmistress

Grabbed on a work trip after a long day in a workshop. I was tired and in a rush to get back and showered before dinner. Thankfully this one proved a quick find.
All good with this one. I took a few attempts before I found the right one. TFTC!

Taking an easy caching today as we are back home tomorrow, and will only have 2 more days of caching for a while.

Day 1 of of a Queensland road trip with EatSleepCacheRepeat and JACS Team - Brisbane to Roma. We spent the day slowly driving (is there any other way for geocachers?) to Roma and picking up the odd geocache here and there. No real targets beyond a couple of older caches.
This was found after a short search. TFTC!

Cleaning up the town with this cache, over shot the mark with our initial looking, but we made the find shortly after.
On day 1 of my road trip, I arrived in Dalby to find some caches.
This one was a super quick find, very clever!
Log signed, cache replaced as found.
Thanks Speedmistress for the cache.

Today was the third day of my little journey to an around outback Queensland. While I’m not in a hurry, I do have a list of caches that I do want to collect along the way and probably some extras as I see fit. It won’t be hard to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day challenges for the next few days, I am also hoping to pick up a few new challenges along the way and some target caches too.
After my great night stay at Lake Broadwater I was off to see where I could get to today, no set plans or place, just head west. There were a few set target caches on my list and then there were the ones I just passed by. So I got to Tambo for a nice stay in a caravan park.
In Dalby now to grab a few here, all good with this cache and with it found and log signed I returned it as found; thanks for placing it here, a clever hide.

Quick park and grab (clever). Log will need replacing after next couple of finders - sorry have just used our last lot on others this trip.

Out in Dalby for work today. Had a spare moment and decided to try this cache. Easy find, tftc lovely old church!
Exploring in and around Toowoomba for a bit, and today we decided a trip out to Dalby was on the cards. After wandering down the main street we wondered what more was on offer in town so let the geocache guidebook take us to a couple of interesting places about town. Thanks for the hide here redsok
Was easy to find ... Was bit weird "borrowing" church property but was my first micro...0mg so cute
Heading West to escape some of the COVID craziness going on in Brisbane at the moment. An early start was made to fit in a long day of driving to Emerald via Roma, with plenty of caching along the way.
You'd think the place would be muggle free at this time of day, but alas we had to outwait a gaggle of drunk teens before making the grab.
---
Found at 03:52, thanks for bringing us here **Speedmistress**. This log is trackable, mention where you saw it.

After the road from hell (Monto to Dalby) it was time for lunch so we stopped at the picnic area near here. After lunch we had a stroll to stretch our legs and the cache was a quick find. TFTC
We are on an eight day trip to Hervey Bay. We saw the most amazing wild creatures close up at Hervey Bay. Whales are ugly but still so wonderful. We also saw some beautiful countryside, although everywhere is in dire need of rain. Thanks for your cache which helped us take a break from driving and have fun at the same time.
We had time for a little caching as we travelled from Bathurst to Hervey Bay and back to see the whales. We thoroughly enjoyed both and are grateful for the caches which helped make the trip more enjoyable.
Arrived Toowoomba late yesterday afternoon and leaving this morning on what seems to be a lovely sunny ️ day tho that wind is chilly and unfortunately for us we are heading to chillier areas on our way home to SW of WA
Why do I listen to Mr dimor, he said the wrong one but got it at second guess

A nice quick find. TFTC. I’m heading hone to Newcastle NSW after having a fantastic holiday in Queensland. Just a tad concerned about the sticky tape. Hope it doesn’t allow the log to fall out
Our first cache on our road trip to Mt Isa.
The church was doing a working bee so I introduced 2 men to the world of geocaching. They are now going to take a special look for people acting suspicious around the fence. One was going to glue all these caps on. So he’s not going to do this one.

Tenkae's outback adventure - quick park and grab after a coffee stop. Container lid is missing. TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 1455. After spending ages at Cactoblastis Cactorum and getting confused, we have now cheered up. A lovely old building. Our thanks to Speedmistress.
Yeah found it, cops had someone pulled over up the street. They kept watching us haha
