Logs
Will be doing a run of my caches in the Dalby area this coming weekend and will check on this one.
Our third attempt. Will make sure that we read the previous logs before heading out in future.
Checked on this one as a friend couldn't find it while I have in the past. It is definitely missing. You can see the mark where it has been if you know where to look and what the container was.
Not very often I have to try a find by myself but Mr Beetle wasn't real confident about where we parked the van so he stayed in there in case he had to move. Took me a while but finally spotted this well camouflaged hide. Signed somewhere in a gap but probably not in order. Thanks.
# 6097 Found on the way east on our 2013 winter escape trip to Qld.
We are in Dalby for a short stopover to check it out.
No muggles around here today and a nice quick find.
Another very nice hide that is deceiving. good work.
TN LN SL. Thanks for the cache Speedmistress,
Roostaman.

Lol... You made us smile... Standing around in the middle of the night with torches going.. And there it is... Well done
The field next to the highway was ready for pickin' by the look of all the white fluffy bits adorning the shrubberies
And a bit of crop dusting has occurred during the year, by the look of the windsock at GZ
A quick poke around revealed no obvious caches !
After a minute of so of standing and staring, I got a profile view of the cache
Very funny !! [^]

Having got the Friday off work, we chose to make a four-day weekend out of ANZAC Day and head West. With the plan to catch up on a couple Caches in the Bunya Mountians, we chose the Jondaryan Woolshed to camp at and circle out from there. Trouble was, there were too many around here to be focussed.
From our camp, we headed into Dalby for a day of driving around and geocaching.
That is pure gold! Smarty pants!

Many thanks from Peter for this cache on the 13. Australia Trip (2012/2013).

Could not find this one. Probably spent a good 5 minutes looking about with geopartner but could not find this one. We are planning a full day out and about in Dalby so will try it again at a later stage.
1115hrs. Stopped here for some morning tea. Just as well we had it with us. Good hide and helping our holiday count. TFTCSL
Out for a long drive today, 400+km and 24 caches later, round trip.
This was my last stop today. This one was staring me in the face before I saw it.
Thanks for the cache.

oooppppsss forgot to log this one. Nice area though and it is strange that this comes to a point like it does....
The local radio stations in small towns give you so much news about whats happening the area. Good to recognise it. You must have an interesting sence of humour Speedmistress.

Well the area received quite a bit of rain yesterday going by the amount of water lying around and how soft the soil is underfoot. Read the note and was prepared to walk if the road verges were too dicey. Thankfully we arrived late in the day and the verges are grassy so all was good. Had a moment when we thought we would be unable to sign the log as the lid was incredibly tight. One last go and got it! Probably shouldn't admit this but it wasn't until a couple of stops later that the meaning of the clue dawned on me .
Lol oops walked past this one a couple of times before noticing it!
Also by fluke just before i had read the cache discription out the geodriver had changed to ABC!

Found it eventually. Micro is understating it!!! Did not sign the log, can't write that small!
Another great hide. Placed just right.
Thanks Speedmistress for making our stay
in Dalby a bit more exciting by placing all
these caches.

Found with Krossbo. I laughed when I found the location of this cache. Clever [^] TFTC!!
On my way around the town having fun with my geodad some thing to do for the day nice little town TTCT
Found this one without too much trouble. The container size pushes the limits of the definition "micro". I'd add the suffix "scopic" to that definition! Also, speedmistress, you need a new log ... book? sheet? strip? the existing one is full. Thanks for the cache - another great speedmistress hide!
I thought I had seen 4QS somehwere before, and it turned out that it is listed on my air navigation charts. Due to the way radiowaves work, we have an instrument called an Automatic Direction Finder, which is capable of detecting this station and will tell us in which direction the tower is. Pretty cool stuff, but onto the cache. Although the logbook is 100% full (I could not sign the sheet), I loved the hide. Very well disguised, but co-ords spot on. I took the time to check out the tower and I see there is a ladder all the way to the top of it. That would give an awesome view I'm sure. TFTC.
A nice and easy find on our way back from a quick trip to the Northern Territory.
Thanks for the cache ...[^]...

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Haha I enjoyed this little hide. I do enjoy seeing infrastructure like this. The hint amused me no end. I found it after a small hunt. The cache is in good condition. TFTC Speedmistress
This was our first cache ever. We looked high and low and then after a little while one of the larrikin's found it right in front of our faces.
Very clever container. TFTC.

Muddy, as with other local caches, must bring gumboots next time, many thanks anyway to the local cachers.
Toowoomba 10.10. Last for the day. I had to wait for several gaps in the travelers before grabbing this one. I was a bit surprised that this worked, but it is great. Thanks.

Today is our last stop on our holiday adventure. We are homeward bound in the morning.Had a couple of hours this arvo to nab a few local caches TFTC.
Found at 1430Hrs. Fairly quick find - for a nano. Pleased that I didn't drop it in the long grass or I might still be trying to find and replace it properly.
Thanks Speedmistress.
Thanks Speedmistress.
Arrived at GZ, and while the geowife took a few pictures of the seemingly endless sorghum fields I set about to finding the cache. Tested a few other fixtures at GZ suspecting it was hidden in the same method as another couple of local caches, and whilst doing so spotted something "not quite right" a few metres away. TFTC. TNLNSL.
Saw the cache easily enough at first, just didn't recognise it for what it was. Very clever. tftc.
Found at 4.30pm GAFF3. A very effective hide as we were rushing to get to our nights camping spot and thought we could bowl this one over quickly, but little di we know that it was a tricky one!
Thanks Speedmistress. - we laughed after wards!

It's been a long long time since I called in here - the place was fully staffed then. Probably staffed by spiders and lizards now though.
Finding this took a bit of head scratching, but Mrs George eventually pointed me in the right direction.
I wonder if it would be possible to make a smaller cache? It's probably a nano cache, or is it a pico-cache?
Thanks anyway!

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 9:35am on a day trip to the north of Dalby caching. We could see this one from a few metres out. Great cache too. TFTC
Wow this one was an adventure. Parking in the drive in darkness and walking up to GZ, (after ascertaining that I didn't want to leave the car so close to the road or risk driving further into the black soil) amidst dozens if not millions of field mice hopping around the grasses. Got me thinking of snakes. Now logic told me that snakes wouldn't be slinking around at night, they'd be conserving energy, but what with all the mice, and the dark and the rememberance that Death Adders are diurnal, the old heart was racing by the time I got to GZ. Took a little while to settle down and find this clever little nano. In the end I had to resort to the clue, and signed by the light of my GPS before strolling back to the car awaiting in the darkness thinking more cheery thoughts than on the way in.
TFTC Speedmistress, You sure make coming to Dalby more fun. I wish I had a bit more time to hunt further afield.

This cache is once again operational. Sorry for any inconvenience - Ah well a reason to come back to Dalby.

Out of commission for a couple of days to do some maintenance. Cheers Speedmistress
Found it No. 1137 ... the cache was screwed on tooooo tight unable to open to sign log ... TNLN
Coordinates seemed fine to us. Had a great chuckle when we found it. Very clever hide!
No swaps - thanks for the cache.

Last find of the day on our way into Dalby. Our first nano sized cache... Awesome.
Quick find as the container was not in the location it was supposed to be. No GPS interference from the tower, coordinates were ok. TFTC
Happy New Year eleventh find for the day of the Geodaughters driving lesson to Dalby and return. 17 caches found all up and 280 Km travelled. Holy cow how small can a log get. You have excelled speedmistress. Needed Geo daughter to fill in the log.
Unbeknown to me I was given a clue to this one last night, quick find and on my way neet hide. TFTC
12 of 12 on our Dalby dally Friday afternoon Geohunt.
To paraphrase “Don’t tell Mom the baby sitter is deadâ€
DALBY IS DONE MAN!
GeoMummy had this one before she had stopped laughing at Lat & Long Junkie’s misfortune from the previous logs.
Hardest part of the whole cache was getting the log book back in the hide.

Found with geo-uncle Lat&Long Junkie on our Great Western Raid weekend. Easy find for me but took L&LJ a little longer. I love these challenges. TFTC
Number 13 on the great western raid with "Bedmaker". Ahh, some more "LEDGIN'S" sneakiness. I hate these containers [:(!]. This cache isn't even hidden, but could I see it. Nooooooo. "Bedmaker" stood around laughing while I stared and stared at it for some time before SEEING it [B)]. Did I mention I hate these containers [:(!]? TN/LN/SL. TFTC.
Found at 0730 today. FTF. Nice quick find. Took longer to get the log back inside the container. TFTC.
