looked in all corners but no luck. Looks like they installed a new pump in one of the corners recently and might have taken cache away. Needs some attention from CO.
Had a look as we were going by to no avail.

Had a real good look. I think it is not here any more. May be the CO could check on it. TFTH.
Had a good look for this one , but came up empty handed. Had morning tea . This is a lovely village hall.
Thanks Speedmistress and Griz066 for showing us the hall.

9416 kms travelled in 21 days, one awesome eclipse observed near Mt Carbine in Northern Queensland and 712 cache finds, including a small handle of FTF's.
This was a trip I'd been planning for over 12 months with the main reason being to observe the solar eclipse on the morning of the 14th of November. I had decided to drive to Palm Cove and back, where my penthouse accommodation was located, while the rest of the family flew up and back. I love the drive and the unknown adventures that lay ahead; and I even think the last time I did one this big may have been for the previous eclipse in Australia which occurred over SA.
Apart from the great experiences, awesome scenery, and the characters met, the other reason to drive was to also do some serious caching, with the plan to stop at some power trails along the way including the Fruit Run and A.S. series near Stanthorpe on the way up and the Mid North Coast Wander series, just out of Port Macquarie, on the way back.
I had five days to travel each way with ten days in between spent in Palm Cove holidaying with my family. My route up took me from Melbourne to Tocumwal and up to Glenn Innes, through Toowoomba, Rockhampton and the coast road to Cairns while my route back was a bit more erratic. Heading from Cairns to Townsville then via Charters Towers to Rockhampton. From here it was through the amazing mining region to Roma then across to Dalby down through Stanthorpe (again) to Armidale, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga, Tocumwal and then home - phew.
Today I made my way from Roma, through Dalby and Millmerran and onto do some more of the A.S. series out of Stanthorpe that had been added; before crashing in the car in a great little spot I found just off the New England Hwy somewhere south of Tenterfield. A lovely country hall here and cache as well. Thanks for the hide.

Been camping at Cecil Plains and now moving on to places unknown at present, but got this one as we passed on our way to Dalby.

Out and about going west with my sister (doscrapbooking) and my nephew (sweet bacon).
As the morning progresses my furtherest west will be changing as we go.
This one took us a little while to find as we searched all corners.
Thanks for the cache. It is in good condition.

While heading off on our weekend away to Lake Broadwater, this was our first cache for the trip, please note a couple of things have changed - the toilet is no longer in use around the back, and that the building has been extended so the GC is still on a corner but no longer the end corner....

We wandered around the back, took a guess and laid hands on it first time. Reckon these old country halls could tell a tale or two. TFTC
Found with a muggle friend who was inspired to look into using one of these country halls for a function for clients in the rural based business. Uneventful find except we felt a bit uncomfortable with the local busy out in the yard across the road. TFTC.
My first ever night caching expedition yielded this find as my first of two for the night. Night caching is great fun - no muggles! TFTC TNLN.
Struth Ruth we found it hidden safely away and in good condition. No community dancing going onto today so area nice and quite for a relaxed find. TFTC
Took a bit of time especially after half the crew bailed when one spied a red belly black which disappeared into the long grass.
The sun was getting quite low but I was still zipping around this beautiful area grabbing caches. Pulled up and quickly walked around to this one. Peered around and under and soon spotted it. TFTC.
Cache was well guarded by at least 6 frogs !!!!! Nice spot for smoko. Swapped a spin top for a groovy eraser.
Thanks for the cache

Toowoomba 10.11. As I eventually started heading south, this was the first along the way. This is a great looking hall out in the middle of nowhere. No problems with the cache and thanks for putting it well out of the way. Thanks.

Mobile phone wouldn't work here so I didn't have access to the clue. Felt very uncomfortable poking around, especially when there were people at both houses. Not sure when I'll get out this way again, but I'm sure I'd find it if armed with the clue.
3258.
This cache took me a lot longer than it should have done. I really managed to over complicate this one.
Thanks Speedmistress for the cache,.

failed to find, despite a lot of searching with Mini GC. Hadn't read the clue!
Will have another go when we're back from England next year.

The camo on this one is excellent, glad there was nothing going on here as we would have had to leave it if there was TNLN TFTC
Quick find in almost darkness while treking back around Dalby way by The Downey Clan.

Found it No. 1147 ... watch out for a black snake he was protecting the cache ... TN and left Chinese Coins
Found at 1730hrs after a pleasant drive in the countryside. Driving straight across the intersection passed a nearby Police Officer was interesting, probably wondering why everyone stops.
Plenty of long grass and didn't see the snake that the finder after me mentioned. Ooops.
Thanks Speedmistress.

STRUTH! Oh - hang on - It's actually St Ruth From a distance, it looks a little misleading...[:o)]
Mrs Steve and the GeoKid found this one while Steve plotted the next move on our great western caching adventure.
No swaps - Thanks for the cache.

Quick find. I was a bit worried about the tall grass and the potential for snakes... all went fine. TFTC
Happy New Year second find for the day of the Geodaughters driving lesson to Dalby and return. 17 caches found all up and 280 Km travelled. Love the location as it reminds me of great parties at similar halls when growing up. TFTC
Another quick one. Some of the best farmland to be found anywhere around here and it's in great condition. Must have been some overnight rain.

Number 25 on the great western raid with "Bedmaker". Found without arousing any suspicions from the locals. Felt kinda exposed heading in to this one. Anyhow, we found the cache, TN/LN/SL.
A little harder than we thought it was going to be, wandering satellites kept placing us at the wrong building. Read the clue but still looked in the wrong place initially.

Found at 1500 today. Had to drive past and do my next cache and came back after 20 minutes whilst two heavy transport drivers had lunch on the front steps. Nice quick find thanks to the clue. Took key ring left mini sharpie pen. TFTC.
