After the Straylia Day event, our group of "Magnificent Seven Mark II" went venturing for some caches.
What we did find was a cache with Brendale4 on the logbook - your cache, Bedmaker.
So we signed it and put it back.
Log signed and cache replaced at 2:01 PM on January 26, 2019. TFTC.

On completion of the 'Straya Day' Event a plan was hatched together with RoddyC, hatzofff, Imbunda, E_Smiley, Monchichi1, patrol14 and myself to collect several caches in the local area. Log book signed and now onto the next one in the series.

There's quite a funny story about this cache. It involves some rather confused cachers, two caches - a multi and a traditional, quite a puzzle, a rather cheeky CO who has now been found out , and some serious laughs.
Receiving a PAF from the other cachers involved for the multi, I gave them the help I felt they needed, but they were quite perplexed and perhaps a little disbelieving of what I had told them. "Are you sure you are talking about the same cache?" "Yes it's definitely that one, I remember it well."
Hmmm. So they went rather puzzled and made a find, kind of. But they didn't find my name and they did find theirs. But I knew I had done said cache. And now I was well and truly as confused as they were.
Needing answers to this odd puzzle we had found ourselves in, I told them I'd meet them at GZ in 10 mins.
And soon we were wandering over to make a rather hilarious discovery between us. In a strange twist to the puzzle, we were both totally right but had found our connection and solved the confusion.
Thanks for the cache bedmakerTG, an unexpected claim on this one for me that's for sure.

I found this cache accidentally while searching for a nearby Multi. Didn't find the cache for the multi though! Thanks for this one, Bedmaker.
After a big day of housework and achieving my mission of finding one cache, I decided for a crack at another. I had dinner planned at a restaurant called Thai Me Down but was confident I could squeeze in “just one more”.
No one was in the industrial area and I had the place to myself. Time to get down and dirty, and then even dirtier. The problem was my search was coming up clean like a big fat zero.
I was out of time so made a PAJ (Phone A Jedi) to 4ando and it was a classic case where he only said one word and I was staring at the cache while we were still talking. Sometimes your perception just needs a good kick in the date to realign itself.
Log signed, phlog taken, and at a traffic light at North Lakes Mr 4ando pulls up beside me in his car which was a miracle. As we shouted through some wound down windows, I forgot to say thank you and realised I would have to shout him a beer next weekend at his house from his fridge. tftc

I last looked for this cache back in May 2010 and it has been on my nemesis list ever since. I have watched the other logs come in where they have had an "easy find".
Today, I was in the area and decided to face this cache again.
I read back through the latest logs and started a search. I was not sure which level I should have been on but I persevered on the one level and after a while I looked at the right angle and spotted the cache.
TFTC bedmakerTG Glad to get this off the DNF list. That is some fantastic artwork graffiti on the wall nearby

From the clue, we think that we found the remains with the actual cache missing. Needs to be checked out.
Another Brendale series ticked off our list. This one had us here a while. I stayed up and continued searching while geo-hubby jumped over fence and scuttled down the rock wall (all of which is, we are sure is exactly what you shouldn't do) but hey we aren't letting a fence get in the way of making another grab.
He's looking under, I'm looking over and all of a sudden just at the right angle is that a bit of plastic, tin, duct tape or anything unusual??? Yes it is, happy days. Nice hide.
Signed log while geo-hubby made his way back upwards but it was ok cause this guy had his back...

This was our second attempt at this one. Last time we spent ages looking and again this time. We were almost at the point of giving up when I just happened to look at the correct angle - and there was the sneaky bugger! TNLNSL TFTC
Very tricky, luckily we had a couple of eyes to look with different angles. TFTC!
This was our 2nd find out of 10 different types of caches for the day This was a lucky coincidence that it was in an area not far our other finds. TFTC
Got ya!
Looking for a couple of different angles spotted this one. First cache for spring.

Viewing the problem from multiple angles soon revealed the caches location. Nice spot TFTC
Out with NurseyJulie, picking up a few caches. We made our way to the bridge and began our search. We searched for quite a while before Nursey Julie spotted the cache from a different angle. She guided me to where it was and I was able to reach around and grab it. We added our names to the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot before heading back to the car. TFTC
It was pretty hot up here on the bridge. Tried to make sense of the clue. I had done some climbing and searching underneath. SelvaGirls checking up top and on the otherside. Back and forth we were on both sides and then at a different angle and level, I saw the container. SG reached around and had it in her hand. TFTC bedmakerTG
We had no luck with this one despite looking for it for ages and ages. We are fairly certain that we interpreted the hint correctly and even though we used our trusty mirror we failed to locate anything.
Thought I would go with my muggle who only has a ten minute attention span. Sadly too many muggles about.
Trying out a new GPSand decided to give this cache a go while getting work done on the ute. Coords were bang on, but it really took a while to find the sneaky little sod. After reading previous logs I decided to look at GZ from a different angle and came up with the goods!
A good spot. Had to do a bit of back and forth for my iphone to get its bearings but logged it with geokid and we were on our way. Thanks very much.
Konie picked up geo-hubby for a few hours of caching, so geo-wife decided to go to the movies.
Headed out towards Petrie, and picked up some caches in the area.
Cache was found after a short search, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, bedmaker, for us and others to find.

Tried to find this on a hot day. It was so hard! We looked everywhere do this and couldn't find it.
After a long look around I gave up and stated to walk away, taking one last look I glanced back and saw it right where I'd been looking tftc
Caching in an unfamiliar part of Brisbane and we were pleased to make this find. Thanks to bedmaker.
Today we explored Lawnton and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. Looked at google to find the trek in, this made it easy to find the cache.

Continuing to round up a few smilies while we have the chance to enjoy the northside.
We are new to the area so hopefully we can pick up a few quick finds without getting lost too often. LOL ...
Well, we had a bit of fun here. climbing fences & rock walls. Looking here & there. Going back & looking there again. Then it was a reread of the available information, a slight rethink of our approach & a fresh start.
This time around, after waiting for a couple of muggle strollers to depart, it was a quick find! No spoilers! LOL ...
Log signed & all replaced as found.

We were killing time in the area waiting for Geodaughter to finish at a lasertag party and thought we'd fill in a few holes freddo had left on the map during his after work excursions Embarrassingly we had a bit of a hunt for the cache (maybe the heat was getting to us) before we finally found the hide. Found quickly with the un camouflaged section of the cache shining brightly from the reflected sun. TFTC
Took some work but eventually found it on my first attempt. Muggle free zone. Well hidden / camo'ed.

A recent spate of DNFs has had me disliking this type of location, until I later found out 3 had been missing and not checked.....makes me feel better and want to tackle another one. This one was a quick find really, found a vantage point and with one sweep of the torch saw a flash of eclipse green....woohoo! TFTC
Spending the day caching with Brother Colin again and we both have a mini milestone to gather.
After a failure at #3 and a find at #2, we headed around to this one. BC had a few chuckles while I searched, as my GPS had me on one side, and I found the cache on the other However, that's all there was. No lid, no logbook, nothing! The magnets inside were still good, so we took the container back to BC's car and made up a replacement from his stash. He even had the right coloured camo All back in place and ready to go. TFTC, bedmaker.

I did not understand the clue, but a relentless search eventually revealed the cache. Thanks
Though the GPS was playing silly buggers with me until I jumped a rather high fence and looked back. Saw the little devil from here!! Easy retrieve for Kerry from Team LJCC and cache returned! TFTC

Out on a sunny Friday morning for caching and lunch at Dayboro with muggle K, a friend who lives near here. Actually, we used to be back fence neighbours till I sold up and defected to the brighter southside of town. A few years later and I still phone K and start with "It's me over the back!"
On the way home after dropping K off and I couldn't resist popping in here for another wee look...
I looked from lots of angles and did get the clue, but couldn't see the cache. Seemed like I would have to throw my tired body into the fray and feel for it. Gotcha! Not that hard really, once I started poking my fingers into spidery places and groping about
Happy to have a smiley here

2 Years, 7 Months, And 17 days later, this DNF was turned into a found cache! Returned to this GZ after remebering hearing about how to find this cache sometime two or so years ago, and surely enough, the cache was soon located, and after a bit of effort, retrieved. The cache and contents were in good condition. Found with Faust1806 + Mum.

Yay ... seeing 2 previous DNF's on this one and finding myself on 11 finds for the day and 249 finds I thought if I can jag this one it's worthy of a milestone (250).
Didn't get too excited upon reaching gz and 'counted' out the hint. No luck. So with pretty good accuracy on moby I searched. After about 10 mins with not kne muggle BINGO ... woo hoo.
Backtracking I think the hint should be LX...lol.

Tried to make sense of the clue and took note of the Terrain rating.

such a pity things were just going my way here today, looked at the hint and really could not connect it with anything, I am sure that there is something that it matches to I am just not sure what that is going to be.
The only way you could see this one is if you were looking for it! Very well hidden although if it was not for the terrain rating then I would've gone to have a look below.
Came yesterday for a little while, but no luck, however this time we found it fairly easily. Clue helped, however, we found it before even "using" the clue TFTC bedmaker.
Searched & searched yesterday with no luck. Even tried looking from all possible vantage points. Went home and did more research (looked more closely at the logs & clue/hint). Roughly determined where it could be and went back today for another attempt. LOL this time we managed to spot it from a particular vantage point before trying the clue/hint . Found with Matt_Eth . Out and about with geoson on an early morning caching run.
We had been out here before to try and find this one, but it was a little after dark and geoson was positive there was someone living down there so we lost our nerve and left the scene.
Back in the light of day though, things were different. We made our way to the gz, and after a quick re-read of the last few logs I remembered what we were looking for.
I made my way to a particular spot and soon had the cache in my sights. After guiding geoson to the right place, he soon had it in hand. Log signed, cache was safely returned. All well within.
Thanks for the cache bedmaker.

Found this while out and about with a non caching relative. Back and forth a few times across the bridge with no luck. Stop and read my way through the logs and then tried to follow in their footsteps. Eventually spotted the cleverly placed hide and then went over to grab it. Thanks for a entertaining little search. TFTC
The hint in the logs are quite useful! We found it very quickly! Might need some maintenance as the case is getting really rusty.
No. 110!!
Geodaughter 1 and I found this one on our way home from her ballet/acrobatics lesson. My GPSr (aka Android smartphone) died this morning and so I was relying on my memory of the description, hint and a few certain points in the logs. Because of this, I was not entirely hopeful of a find, but thought I'd try my luck anyway.
Being a Saturday, the local businesses were closed and we were able to drive all the way to the start of the path. G1 and I walked straight to the bridge and had a quick look around. Remembering people's comments about looking from another angle, we then went to a particular vantage point that became very obvious once at the GZ and sure enough, as soon as we stood in that spot, the cache became visible. G1 and I then headed over to retrieve it, signed the logbook (and G1's hand) and replaced it.
I can't believe how easily we found this one, especially since I didn't have a GPSr on me!

Parked as close as I could to this one and legged it across the wet ground towards the bridge. Hmm, a lot of places here so my instinct was it was below my feet. I hopped a fence and standing on the edge, read through the cache page and decided I was wrong (would you believe that?). I started looking in depth at the bridge from the deck and had no such luck. Hmm, tried a few different angles but decided to look at from a completely different angle. I shan't write much more for fear of giving it away but from where I stood I spotted the beast some metres away. I trotted over and soon had the cache in hand. Little bit of a tricky devil this one. Logbook was all dry and well. Replaced as found, nice one TFTC Bedmaker
I liked this one. Slowed down, read the logs, took time. Found easily once I stood back at different angles. Good cache. Tftc.
Aware of what the offices on the other side must think about people poking around the bridge. Applied clue to bars, planks, but felt too conspicuous. The graffiti and bongs along the walk to gz seem to indicate that this place can get quite feral; maybe not a place to night cache!
This one took a second visit and a different approach soon spotted the cache and had the logbook signed in no time. TNLNSL TFTC.
