Searched for a while. GPS said we were standing right on it. Found some great hiding spots but all empty. There were some fallen trees possibly from recent storms, hopefully it's not squashed.
Really cold and windy.
Spent quite some time looking but no luck.
Another day!

Another day!
Searched for 15minutes or more but no Smiley for us today, perhaps the CO should give the cache a check and re-hide it
This one took a bit of unearthing as it has accumulated a reasonable amount of natural camo over time. SL TFTC
Having had a long week at work and few disappointments it was time to get out and do something just for fun. Joined up with a friend and went on a night geocaching run.

Quick find and the last for the day, as we neared the end of our walk along the Heysen Trail.
Great day out.
Thanks for the cache, SA ParrotHead.

D and LaStorm15 found this cache while away camping at Deep Creek conservation park. Drove pass the same walking muggles twice finding this one, I'm sure they thought we were mad

Jumped on the mountain bike in Victor and headed towards the hills behind Victor to pick up caches today. Lovely ride down this deserted road. Beautiful dairy country. Found cache after a quick hunt - signed log
We've visited both ends of the Heysen trail, and various parts in between, but there's a lot that we've never visited. I wonder how many people have walked the entire 1,200 kilometres?
Cache was found in the first place we checked, and all in good order.
Thanks SA_ParrotHead.

Great views and lots of 4 legged muggles. TFTC. Left a little TB a long way from the ocean.
What a lovely little track. We had a wonderful drive on some very pretty and interesting back roads today and found many caches. TFTC.
Dr Owl was worried about taking her owl mobile down this track, don't know why. I've also walked, driven and cycled many parts of the Heysen trail since starting geocaching, always enjoyable. I find the country so variable.
Thanks for the cache Parrots.

Working their way north and vaguely home, Owl and Sushilord gathered smileys on the way. A nice area but Owl missed the trail marker for the TB photo.
After just finishing doing the Heysen Trail walk we grabbed a few caches in the area before heading back to town, this one was a quick and enjoyable find. TFTC
Found cache location, but it was guarded by a large brown snake about 2 metres away. Too close for our comfort so we left it all alone. TFTC.
Finally found it. Once again had to figure out where I would have put it other than rely on gps! Tftf
Great drives and walks through this area, since we have been geocaching we have been taken to some awesome sight and fantastic historic areas. Makes us proud to be part of it.
Thanks for the cache and taking us to another track never travelled before. Signed the log and tucked the cache away as found.
Thanks SA_Parrothead for the cache.

On our way to the Oz Mega and taking the opportunity to grab a few caches along the way. We enjoyed the scenery and variety of caches. Will have to return to do some more around this area. TFTC SA ParrotHead.

Picked up a few and then headed home.

When I got the call that a caching trip to Victor was been planned I quickly booked a seat. So with CP and Mr. M from Aussie M&M we set out in the general direction...southish
Quick diversion on our way back into Victor to get this one. Thanks SA Parrothead for the hide.

It was a magnificent day worthy of a caching trip, but with Mrs M helping a family friend for the day it was up to Mr M to join CPwanderer and brisal5 for a caching trip to Victor Harbor. It was a very enjoyable day in which brisal5 achieved his 3000 milestone.
We diverted off the road for this one. TFTC ParrotHead.

Out on a Sunday drive rounding up some geocaches. Found the cache OK but nearly got carried away by the mossies...or were they blood-sucking parrots? They were big enough! TFTC SA Parrotheads.
Squish squish squish... sooo much water around here at the moment! Pulling up we hoped the cache hadn't floated away... then we hoped it wasn't over *there* behind the massive pond-puddle, but then the GPSr zeroed in on a slightly less squishy point.
The second to last log was from a local land owner who was checking the cache was still intact!

Geocaching with Braveheart17 over the past few months in the Fleurieu area. Only just logging them all now, sorry. Love the hides and the adventures, thanks to all for the hunts. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Found with bogonhazy on a flying trip over from Vic. No time to walk these trails today, hopefully next time. Thanks to SA Parrothead for the cache.
Found with Sully1 on our second day in Victor Harbour in this cache rich state.
This was a terrific trip with great weather and friendly welcoming cachers to meet and greet.
A huge variety of hides had us on our toes, and a huge thanks to all the local cachers who provided the fun for us. Thanks SA parrothead

Bit of a trickier one, but found it after a little persistence and getting low TFTC
A quick grab and then a race back to the car to get out of the rain. Lots of long winter grass and weeds to negotiate here so just as well we had our boots on. TFTC
Day 3 of our leisurely stroll north through South Australia picking up a few caches on the way. We spent the night at Victor Harbour before heading off again today to be in Adelaide tonight to catch up with some of the local teams for dinner. We headed here from Tip Top and really enjoyed the drive here with everything fresh after the rain but we must say that the roads were nothing like the one in the other Halls Creek. The cache itself was a nice easy find in a logical location and our name has now been added to the log.
Thanks very much for the cache.

Taking a road bike down this track when it is wet makes for an interesting ride. Had a nervous time turning around, to go back to the cache. Once a solid place was found to park the cache was quickly in hand.
Thanks for the cache,

13/01/2012 19:38 Out for an arvo driving by Eagle Eye on his 'L' plates we stopped on this dirt track. Michael was quickest here and so the cache was found by Eagle Eye by following the geo trail. His younger brother AAA (Josh) was still to make a find. TFTC SA ParrotHead TNLN SL
Loved this spot. Lots of swallows, galahs, cockatoos and magpies but no parrots. Took awhile to find as gps was sending us all over the place but eventually had it in hand. The cows over the fence took a liking to geo-son maybe because he was speaking their language and followed him up and down the fence line. Very comical to watch.

What a comfy way to do the heysen trail . Was going to say that we didn't see any parrots, just flocks of butterflies, but as we were driving away a group of parrots flew along the road in front of us.
