did not relise it was out of action i researched abit and came to a possible final location and with the help of a clue from a fellow cacher i soon had the cache in the hand thanks for the cool muliti!
Helping a fellow cacher with this one and notice TB was still here after a couple of months so took it to move on.
Arrived at WP 3 to find complete lack of shady trees (but plenty of stumps) and concrete cricket pitch is in piles where it's landed after being ripped up. Looks like the place has had a going over in last couple of days. We hunted high and low but gave up when people arrived with trailers to collect the wood! Might be worth a check. Enjoyed the WPs we DID manage!
Couldnt find waypoint 2 but managed to find the third with the aid of the clue then final was a breeze

Mad a dash for the WP's in between showers today
WP2 fell off when I bumped it, luckily had the right tools with me to re-fix it, no chance of it falling off now.

Spurred on by the cache owners reassurance that this was up and running we thought we would give this a go, but like those who have gone before, we also failed to find WP3, and like the last 2 logs we too ended up at the lower bridge back in Cambridge. Perhaps when the owner replaced the co-ords at WP2 he has inadvertently transposed some numbers? Given that there are suggestions of incorrect hints and other transposition errors perhaps the cache needs to be audited by the owner from top to bottom so others don't waste any time and kilometres on it.
I went out with thequiltys and found the waypoint at the school, but the co-ordinates are wrong, we think. The second coordinates take us to the low level bridge in Cambridge itself, where there are no buildings, no field let alone a cricket club house. This will need fixing...
Second set of coordinates look to be a little off, sending us back into Cambridge rather than staying in the Kaipaki area.
Note: second clue needs updating.

On a trip to visit other cache we went past point number 2 and notice work had progressed a lot since our last visit but still not complete.
I can confirm that the 2nd waypoint is unavailable due to work in progess at this site. Will notify when up again
found the first WP super easily and proceeded to the 2nd where i found a couple of contractor digging a new carpark i think. asked them if there used to be a sign as mentioned in the clue and they said that it has been removed while they work and will be put back later. ill keep an eye on this one and head out there in a month to see if i can complete this cache.
Unable to find waypoint 2 dispite much searching around the hint place. Noted lots of trees cut down, fences and signs also down (looks like a revamp?). Can somebody please check this waypoint?
A thoroughly enjoyable multi taking us on a journey through rural Waikato of old. The waypoints were nicely done - well-hidden but findable (Wp2 took a bit longer!). Thanks for the tour and history lesson.

Decided it was time to return to this great wee multi, but went a zigzag way.....
While at WP2, discovered the book I was using for my notes, had the final WP recorded.... so we skipped WP3 and went straight to the final.
Left UFD TB, saw the geopin, but did not realise it was trackable.... so regret, did not retrieve it.
Thanks Boges, for the history lesson.

The Phantom In and Out Undetected Again!
Out with the CC's today for my VERY FIRST FIND. Nice multi with good clues. WP2 took a bit to find but with a second look everything became clear. On to the final, soon had cache in hand. YAY.

Awesome cache, we really enjoyed finding all the waypoints. First find for our youngest. Took a dinosaur toy, left some are bugs some are knot TB>
Well, got us going this one, failed to find one of the co-ords, but using our powers of observation and some local advice were able to by pass it and found the cache in the end. TFTC.
Good luck helped us here, our co-ords for the final cache appeared a bit off but a good hunt around and yipee we found it. TFTC
Had to take a couple of days to complete as there was kids playing at one of the waypoints. Nice visits to some interesting buildings. Easy waypoint finds. TFTC
Had completed half this cache a couple of weeks ago, so it was just a matter of finding the last set of coords to complete it. A little bit of nostaligia here for us as my Dad used to play cricket here many moons ago. I also remember the days when our family was heavily involved with a community just like this one. Great day for a drive in the countryside.

A fun and informative multi that we have been meaning to do for a while. Thanks Boges for the history lesson and the chance to check out some back roads around this area.
TNLN Talked to the cows and then headed for home!

Enjoyed this one, a nice country cache drive. Interesting places and nice final. Thanks for the cache.
75% complete today..... but declined the final due to grounds maintenance.... would just raise too many eyebrows.
Besides spray was being applied, so it was no place to let jnr geocooley loose, who just happened to be caching with us today.
Thanks for the tour.

Quiet Labour day as we enjoyed a nice drive around Pukerimu learning some history of our area. Thanks.
Enjoyed the trip around the area and the lovely old buildings. Luckily no one around final cache site today. Extremely high winds happening just now. TFTC
Gosh there are some beautiful old buildings hidden away out here! WP2 had me looking for quite a while (lucky it's school holidays), but found exactly where the clue said it would be (doh!). No problems with the others. Thanks Boges for an interesting ramble in the countryside with a bit of history to boot.

What a cool cache, this one took us much longer than anticipated. We spent more time at school than all the other WP’s put together, it seems we still didn’t learn anything. Headmaster Zorgon was disappointed with our performance, as our urban caching style hasn’t adapted well to some good old fashion provincial hides. Many thanks Boges for the tricky hide, at least for us at WP2.

An interesting snapshot tour of a typical rural NZ community. Could be anywhere in the country.
Many thanks

#143. We found ourselves a bit confused by the cache description, but the waypoints were easily found.
The cache lists two travel items, but neither were in the cache.
- Chiefs inflatable
- poker chip
+ glow in the dark frog
+ 2 AA batteries

First to log but not FTF.
Had done a double shift (Pm-night) yesterday and last night. Had seen this pop up and debated whether to attempt this straight from work or have a wee sleep. Decided to have a nap first as all the locals would be working-checked this am before I left and no logs so I though a good chance.....
After a very pleasant tour of the local area I find I was beaten to the FTF by about 3 hrs. Should have gone straight from work.
At one of the Intermediary I was asked what I was doing- I explained but she replied that she already new!@!!!
Nice easy find

The Freezer Mice strike again!!!
Were actually the 4th lot to visit this cache today... believe we saw LostPukeko leave in a little silver peugeot hatchback a couple of seconds before we got there.
Thanks for the Kaipaki Tour Boges, liked the WP hides (was a little bit of deja vu)!!!
Nil in or Out.
Regards TFM.

Pleasing to score another FTF as well as discover some local history.
Was wrapt to put the first footprints in the dew at WP1, then found a bit of a muggle issue further down the road, although I was there before the worst of it no doubt.
Took FTF travel bug which Im sure will be amusing to Boges-forgot about that issue!

Great little tour of our local stamping ground this afternoon. Did not realise that these buildings had crept up the road.
Unfortunately didn't see the frozen rodents chasing us - would have stopped to talk if I had known.
Note to self - drive the peugeot on all future caching trips!
