Disabled until the water recedes. Then I will assess the whole series to see if it should be changed.
Unable to locate this one and needs to be checked. We did see all the dnf's before us however we thought we would give it a go anyway as we were in the area.
Attempted during a raid on Brisbane with The Rats, Big Matt and Shell and Steeba.
After a reasonable search we came up empty handed on this one.

We had a real good look for this one, we visited the previous logs and tried to use the waypoints others had shared but didn't come up with the cache.
Thanks anyway Crew 153.
Thanks anyway Crew 153.
Thanks to previous cachers for the note on the co-ords being a touch off. We found the cache almost immediately once we read that bit. Took a bit longer to find the geobabies hat, which had been knocked off while Alkzura was wandering through the trees with him on his back and we were off to the geomobile and the next cache. TFCT
In the vicinity of this cache doing another when we noticed this one appear on the list.
It was a short stroll to this cache for NyletaM, geobaby and myself.
After a bit of searching, and a check of the logs to find updated coordinates, the cache was located.

TFTC and the series so far.

This one had us looking around for a while. Our GZ was about 8 metres out. However reading previous logs gave us an alternate set of co-ordinates which helped. Mosquito alert! I was eaten alive while searching, TFTC
Wow what a beautiful spot. The birds were chirping as I signed the log. Thanks for bringing me here [^].
Found: Coordinates were off for us. The Oregon recorded S27 32.558 E152 59.225
I can see why there was a DNF at night. Ihad forgotten the great simplicity of a 153 hide. I looked here, I looked there, a took in a huge pine thorn looking in another spot, ouch , and the blood as well. Eventually i though about previous Crew 152 hides and it all returned - yes there was the cache only 2 m from my GZ and exactly as Max would have placed it[^]
Now for the other news - it is not just the spiders in here -almost had an incident with my fav creature - a snake.
Thanks for the cache - I could have done without the other additional rise in my heartbeat as the geocyceling was enough.

First time Mr F. has seen a bush turkey, one came wondering up to the road as we got out of the car, It did not take much notice of us, but seemed more interested in the car. we soon had the cache in hand luckily no spiders around that we saw. TFTC
Could not find it. Have gone twice at night. Just wondered if it is still there.
Be careful there are literally 100's of Huntsman spiders here.
If you have a good headlight you can see hundreds of spider's eyes glowing and staring at you.
Try it and remember to wear long pants preferably tucked into socks if you are venturing here at night.

Thought we would stop and pick up this one on our way through the Oxley series. Log is a bit damp, but otherwise OK. TFTC
It was very overcast and a bit rainy which I think makes for good caching weather, not too many muggles around. The recent rains haven't worried this area too much. Everywhere looks in order. Cache found and all ok. TFTH.
Found at 15:10h. Lots of work has been done here and the area is lookling good, except for the nasty little polluted creek in the gully.
Lotos and lots of mozzies.

This is another OCCA work site. The local community bushcare group have also accomplished minor miracles in the rehabilitation of this site. Please tread lightly.
I replaced the cache container and contents today.
Looking at all the cleanup of branches and logs there is no way that the landcare group didn't find the cache. There is no log from them in the book but the cache was partly hidden although I'm sure that it is not in the original hiding spot. That is now a heap of branches and logs.

Just logging that the cache needs maintenance.

Out and about with Mrs HappyHarries today to nab a few caches while the geokids were at school.
Found the cache without too much trouble but unfortunately the cache was saturated (completely full of water due to a cracked lid) and in need of repair. We dried things as best we could (with little time we had).
Thanks for the hunt Crew153
Cheers

Mrs k-six and myself headed out today in a westerly direction hoping to clean up a few caches. After trying out our balance we soon had this cache in hand.Unfortunatley the lid has a crack in it and it was full of water. We cleaned it out the best we could TFTC.
Having decided to clean up a few outstanding caches with Ledgins, this was our first in the area.TN left red fluffy toy.TFTC Silky Seekers/
Entered into the book of LEDGIN'S. Out & about with Silky Seekers. Grabbed this one while starting the Oxley series.TNLN. Thanks Crew 153.
Nobody in the park today but there was a wayward shopping trolley. Took Jeep TB, LN. TFTC.
Steve and Mrs Steve had differing opinions on how to get to GZ, so they went their separate ways. Mrs Steve won and signed the log while Steve sulked under a nearby (other side of creek) tree.
The cache was dry and in good condition. We made no swaps, but dropped off the jeep TB. Thanks for the cache!

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga at 11:57am. Surprised that this cache hadn't been washed away. It was completely exposed so hidden again now. The cache is dry even after the rain. TFTC
Construction Muggles onsite today but were on their way out. We wanderred through the park and exited out the other side on the path so we could make the find under the cover of tress and shrubs. No trouble with the find. Took Groundspeak Geocoin.
Cheers

Bit of mucking around and nearly gave up because of all the work being done around the place. But persevered and was rewarded.

It was great to be back riding along the mighty Oxley looking for caches today [^]
The heavy machinery near GZ didn't look to promising as I approached, but the GPS finally got it's bearings and pointed somewhere else
Lovely spot and so peaceful once morning tea break for the BCC workers arrived. I grabbed the cache and returned to the geocycle to fill in the log book and drop in some geocoins
As I did a parade of skool chids from the local education facility paraded past. After trying to elicit a friendly hello from them and suffering their scowls of disapproval at me being there I replaced the cache
Then I just had to so a bit of CITO on my way back out.
Yep! Just four skool chids had left a trail of aluminium cola cans, chip packets and plastic bottles totalling 11 bits of rubbish on their way along the previously spotless trail
Talk about shitting in your own nest !!
Well the area is a beaut again. The scrub turkeys were as promised plentiful, both the feathered and uniformed varieties
TFTC, I left the Groundspeak Lackey Geocoin (I felt their pain) and Nephila geocoin (there were a lot of spiders)

It's just over two years since I rode through this area on the start of the great "Oxley" odyssey. Nice to re-visit and find the additional stop. Easy find despite the tree cover and cobwebs. TN/LN/SL and tried in vain to retrace my steps. Result = more cobwebs [:(!].
Found at 10.09am. Council workers were about this morning spraying weeds so I walked around to the other side until the coast was clear. Found the cache easily. Took nothing and left Green Jeep Travel Bug. TFTC
Found at 1210. I used to ride through this park several times a week, on the way to a friend's house. It has sure changed (for the better) recently.
TNLN Thanks Crew for another good one
Spotted a Scrub Turkey wandering along the footpath when I got back to the car. Seems to be a fair-sized population in this area!

Lovely park, full of kids having a ball today. Luckily they were just out of view so was able to do the bizzo without detection. TFTH
The council workers machine had broken down when we arrived and they were all standing around scratching their heads wondering what to do about it.
We ambled past and took the path into the bush and came at the cache from behind so as not to be seen. An easy find. Cheers, HawMorFords.

Council workers were mulching trees in the park this morning so we returned just before dark to try again. This time, eagle eyed Geo-kid spotted it and had it in hand before the rest of us could get near it. Thanks for the cache and we look forward to continuing the Oxley Series.

Accompanied with Alchemy2. Lovely park... We enjoyed walk along to the cache. SL. Thanks Crew153 for organising the cache and hunt.
Argh - I just wrote this log and was singing the joys of modern technology allowing you to log caches while still out on the hunt, and then my signal goes and drops out and I lost the log. Bugger! Found this with totalube today, lovely little park. Practiced some CITO on the way in too, local teenagers? I can't believe we are the second to find - what happened to the mad FTF dash? TFTC, we are hoping to get a couple more of the Oxley series today too.
Found with posthaste and geoson, who enjoyed the walk and played with all the swaps, but took none (surprisingly)

After a day out yesterday, I promised myself I wouldn't go caching today, then this one popped up just near home!
I remember walking through the bush here a number of times on the way home from school - my mate lived across the street. Of recent times I have thought of putting a cache in here, but that's now not going to happen. Thanks for the memories, Crew 153, and thanks for the FTF.
Took Police van, left a Kangaroo.
