Logs
With a lot of searching we scrambled and found it. Log book needs replacing.
Great hiding place. I'm a frequent user of the river trail and wouldn't have expected to find this here. However I made the mistake of approaching from the river trail and not the road. Btw log is wet and container is cracked.
Thanks for the cache! Log is pretty wet so would be helpful if it was replaced with waterproof paper in future, I used a pen that bled sorry
Out for an afternoon's caching to start ticking off some missing 360 degree from home caches. And it's a 'No' from me!
Much easier access from the road then the river trail. Container was water logged and the paper almost destroyed but managed to sign it.
Just passing the area and stopped by to have some food at the few benches we spotted on our travels. Nice spot. Approaching from the top of the hill, it wasn't too treacherous at all. I spent a lot more time haphazardly navigating the bank, which wasn't necessary. Rehid better. Ng mihi, TFTC
Looked all around the stump and other trees couldn't find. Found the "s" stone that was mentioned but no container
Was on a pretty steep slope so had to be careful not to slide down. There weren't any obvious hint items nearby to hide it by so put it back where it was with a bit better cover TFTC
Had to be careful around the steep slope, found the cache quickly as it was exposed and not really in a spot that lined up with the hint. Replaced close by but with a bit of cover. TFTC
I had to walk quite a way to 'just pass by' today, but it was a beautiful sunny day to enjoy a stroll. A bit of a scramble to GZ, but an easy find once there.I left an alphabet stone - the letter S.Thanks for putting this here
Was sitting in the open not near GZ or the hint item. Have replaced where it should be. TFTC
A nice little spot here, didn’t take long to find here. Shame about the rain today. Tftc
After having to hunt for somewhere to park that wasn’t on yellow lines I had to do a bit of navigating to find the beginning of the path i could see below me but couldn’t get to from current location. Once i got near the GZ i realised id have to climb a steep hill in semi darkness. I was disappointed to shrug my shoulders and walk away. I will return when my leg heals enough to master steep hills. Beautiful views of the river along the walkway though. Thanks for the cache.
Another that took some looking. I focussed on the hint item up the bank and had no luck. Came back to the path for an overview, and there it was, not too far up the hill. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland to visit family. Today we cruised around the Hamilton area for a bit. The thunder rattled occaissionally and the rain teemed down at one stage.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

Didnt sign as was a bit damp. Was going to leave something but terrain is a bit difficult so will put it somewhere more safe tyftc.
Well, there's always got to be 1 cache to kick off my caching day, and I'm pleased to say this one had a nice mix of everything (Somewhat tricky terrain, good natural camo and pretty views). Enjoyed a nice stroll down the walkway before arriving in the rough area of GZ, and stopped to have a quick look at the hint. My eyes lit up at two large specimens matching the hint, so off I went, trudging up the steep bank which was actually pretty slippery, being all damp from the recent rain there's been!
Had a good poke around but luck didn't seem to be on my side. Decided to check the coords and sure enough, there was another large specimen matching the hint, and after making the short stroll across the bank, I quickly spotted the cache nicely tucked under some natural camo. It was really cool to see the original logbook with names dating all the way back to 2008... You've done well with maintaining this one over all these years TWIGSTER! Signed myself in before replacing as found and continuing along the river walkway. TFTC TWIGSTER!
Had the choice of staying with my cousins's for the day on the farm, or going into the tron for a day's worth of caching. Whilst zooming around on the motorbike, quad bike and tractor would've been pretty fun, nothing beats caching in a brand new area, so the latter option it was Started in Fairfield and mostly followed the river all the way down to the Hamilton Gardens, all done on foot. All in all, a very successful day of caching with a total of 35 finds made, including 21 Ad Lab WP's, 13 trads and 1 mystery. A massive thank you to all CO's who provided me with some great hides!

We were exploring the area today and finding a few caches along the Waikato river.
Initially we intended to look for this cache first but we arrived very early in the day and the whole area was very damp so we decided to give it a try on our way back.
A few hours later things had dried out a bit but the thought of getting to GZ was still a bit daunting. Not sure a 1.5 terrain rating is quite right, not today anyway as the ground was very slippery.
Mr Coblet very carefully approached GZ, thankful that there were handy trees to hold on to and was pleased to make a quick find once the hint item was reached.
The cache is nice and dry and in good condition.
Thankfully no muggles passed by while the log was being signed although a dog in a nearby house was being quite vocal.
The return to the footpath was achieved very slowly but without incident, ending with a sigh of relief.
Thanks Twigster for the cache and the unexpected challenge.

Bit of a slippery climb after the recent rain. Sent eldest two up and they couldn't find it so I went up and fount it straight away.
Down from Whangarei for a couple of days to visit a sick relative in Waikato Hospital, so just had to fit in a few caches as time allowed.
Whilst the other members of our party did their shopping thing at Chartwell, I concentrated on a few caches in the vicinity. Didn't get the level quite right at first. Once that was sorted, cache was soon located, log signed and replaced as found. TFTC

Lucky its nice and dry today, scrambled up to make a quick find in the obvious place, TFTC
On a ladies weekend to Hamilton with Supernanny, Jag50 and Nette1234. Mrs Jag scrambled up while I held our take out coffees. Found in the first place she looked.
Bit of a scramble up to this one but found the cache in the obvious spot. Tricky slide down the slippery muddy slope to finish our take out coffees
Such a great cache!
I went for a little Sunday stroll to find this, I had to take off my jandles to scramble down to the spot which was so much fun!
It was awesome to flick through the log book which goes back years. It’s getting a wee bit full so had to write on a random page.

Easy find on our evening walk. The container has a crack in the bottom, dry inside though! TFTC
Fairly quick find while just passing today....on my caching mini break in the Tron...
Only just managed the scramble without sliding down.!

I pass by here almost every day on my way home from work. I've always wondered about the access, and the "slight bank" to negotiate. Ended up parking close to the bus stop, walking along Rive Road to the walkway and then down. Once I got close to GZ, decided that the bank was indeed quite steep! Avoided a land mine (aka huge dog sh!t) one the way up the bank by mere centimetres. Located cache easily. Nice spot to view the river. SL. TNLN. TFTC. Managed to negotiate the route down the bank again although it was quite muddy underfoot.
Had to pick up a cache today as I’m going to slowly aim for the 366 days challenge and today was a blank. Have had this one on my radar for a while so it was great to pick it up. TFTC
A Saturday to spare so the call was made to gather those free for a small raid on the Waikato. McJandals and TNXPro were able to join me and meander through the country side collecting this cache on our travels.
This cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers twigster, TFTC

On a roadie (from Tauranga) with Philip Perry and TNXPRO. I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers
Quick find, but I suggest ovner to maintenance work... Logbook looks so crappie and full.

Good cache. I went from the top of the bank down. Might be easier climbing from the bottom?
It was a bit of a mission to get to with my 3 children (3, 7 & 9) but they loved the adventure of it. Thanks for a fun geocache!!
Our first find after moving to Hamilton 2 days ago. Making a little walk over the bridge and around the Woodstock school. Thanks for hiding, easy to find in my hiking boots.
Easy to locate but really hard to get to with sandals on. Incredibly slippy climb.

It is our last day in Hamilton. I wanted to make a last bike ride alongside the river. I found allready a few caches near the river, but there are more. This morning I searched for five and found four caches. This one was a bit difficult to reach from the path down below, but I managed to write my name in it.
Thanks for placing this cache!
