I didn't expect this cache to turn into a bot of a nemesis. Several moons back i went to the published coords and did some research. Then kept wandering, discovering this neat place of rest with a view. Then a few weeks bacl I decided to check out the area that is gz. Of course it started raining enroute, which quickly turned torrential. Not letting mere water deter me, I scrambled all over gz until it got too much so I scurried back downhill for the relative shelter of a cute man made cave to outwait it. Well that wasn't happening, so when it became light enough to not care too much, scrambled back up to gz for another extensive search. This all occurred thrice.Eventually called it to go meet up with a local cacher for a brew.Back today with an hour or two to kill so beelined straight here and again scoured and scowled every which where. Now I'm convinced my numbers are wrong and I've been looking somewhere the "easily found" cache is not. Sigh.

Not the quickest multi ever but enjoyable. At stage 2, I enjoyed watching some of the local tennis players. I play tennis myself but I spotted a few people who are far superior than I. MAde the hike up and spotted the cache quickly! Thanks for the multi!

We had visited WP1 about a year ago and finally organised to visit GZ today. A very nice and scenic walk to GZ. Found the nicely camoed container tucked into a protected spot. Very good. TFTC The Hancock Clan

We have arrived in Sydney on a mission to find caches in LGA's we don't have.

We have been expertly advised and guided by wazza9 in completing this task. Today we ticked off 5 and enjoyed the sights along the way. A great themed multi and history of the people involved and adding to our favourites. At GZ we enjoyed finding the cache after an uphill walk and adding to our favourites.

Many thanks to all CO's for placing caches and helping us achieve our goals.

#3712 Fourth of six finds on a beautiful autumn day in the Eastern Suburbs. Got quite a surprise when I arrived at the given coordinates as I had no idea this famous Australian was buried in this unique cemetery. After collecting the required information and making the substitution I headed off to area that contained GZ. Another wonderful surprise as I never expected to find such natural beauty in an urban environment so close to Sydney. As I closed in on GZ I had to decide which path to take. Murphy’s Law crept in and had to retrack but eventually found the prize. TFTC

Found It!
I wasn't expecting to find that grave at WP1. Collected the numbers then drove a bit closer before walking up the hill to the cache. Nice place and a quick find once I got to GZ!

11037 Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with Nana Nell and Wazza9 at 1225 on our urban caching drive to pick up some of the GC caches and some LGA's. A FP from us. By the time we had reached gz it was raining cats and dogs. Very slippery on the tracks. In good condition SL Tnx The Hancock Clan

A look at our cache notes tells us we collected the required information in April 2020 and calculated the correct coordinates. Over a year later and back in COVID lockdown in Sydney again, Mrs Gaztek took here permissible exercise in the area of GZ. I’ve been in this place before but not where GZ is. Gorgeous! And the Council Rejuvenation Stations are something else!

Once at GZ, I found something you don’t see too often which made me think the cache had been muggled. But no, it’s part of the hide. Clever! All safe and dry!

A found a sneaky little leech on my shoelace as I got to the street so be sure to check. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek

About a week before getting the actual cache, we visited the graveyard to receive the coordinates for here. We didn’t expect to be reading about an important member to Australia’s history! Before grabbing this cache, we read some previous logs. A good idea, as we then knew to bring gloves! We were lucky not to come in contact with any eight legged bugs, but there were quite a few things nesting on the lid of the container! TFTC

Out at the cemetery earlier today, it took a little while to find the right graves.
Then walked the 4km + to the cache, finding other caches along the way.
Happened to be close to GZ yesterday, on one of the other paths. Nice area.
At GZ, the inner container is still perfectly well. A live spider is using the outer container as a dry spot as well.

I pulled of to the side of the road, finding a shady place to park my bike. The cemetery was up hill and a short stone wall blocked my entry directly to the posted coordinates.

I didn't know if I'd be able to work this out easily or if I'd have a hard time at it. The instructions seemed just vague enough as to make me think about it. Turns out I was on my game today and figured it out without any trouble, then rode out to the final.

I was pleased to see where this cache took me, as the park at the final location has become one of my favorite hidden gems around Sydney.

I walked up a trail that I hadn't been on before. The stone steps covered in dry leaves and twigs, the pathways crowding in by overgrowth, seemed lost and forgotten. The trails zigged and zagged their way up, and I wasn't sure if I was heading to the cache or a dead end just out of reach. I got to a point that I decided that I was close enough and started bushwhacking straight up. I climbed through the jungle expecting to see venomous snakes and giant spiders.

Finally I came to ground zero. "You could hide an ammo can here and no one would ever find it", I thought, as I began to search around for the container. It didn't take long to spot it, but then my heart sank when I saw the logbook laying out on the ground and the condition of the can itself. "How could an ammo can end up in this kind of condition out here?" Then I saw what was going on.

However, the cache had been muggled and the contents were scattered about. I picked up the logbook and went to open the container, when one of the giant spiders that I had feared, was trapped inside and started running back and forth inside the container, banging into the sides with enough force to knock it out of my hands! I reeled back and pulled my heart out of my throat. Then after I composed myself, I chased the spider away and cautiously gathered up the contents of the container to put back where they belonged.

Thanks for the find.

A nice weekend away with fitzy_1965 where we glamped (motel) rather than camped!

Day two saw us caching around Watson Bay area and then off home again just as the rain arrived.

Another fascinating multi which was wonderful to do. Mind you though, after a long day of caching, getting to GZ was a chore!

19,341. Found with minniek during a meander around the South Head region.

Day 2 of our kid-free weekend caching in Sydney. We had decided to visit this area for the Virtual, the views, the trigs, and because I have some relatives 'residing' in the area. Next find of the day, and more interesting history of the area. This truly is an amazing cemetery to wander around. I have been here several times before as my paternal Great-Grand Parents are buried here. Many fascinating people are buried here including a Victoria Cross recipient (and Governor of NSW), an Archbishop of Sydney, the subject of this multi, and many many more. Once the required info was gathered it was off to GZ where, after a nice walk in the the container was quickly found by minniek. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and then headed off to the next one.

Thanks The Hancock Clan !! This is one of those caches that I wish I could give more than 1 Favourite Point !

Wazza9 decided it was time to discover this multi, arranged with Odlids to come for an outing, then we asked Tronador what she was up to, she agreed. 1950 Riley primed up for a drive, picked up our ladies off we went. Arrived at 1st waypoint, got all the information, checked out some of the old graves, very interesting walk around. Decided to have lunch at the nearby bakery, before off to GZ. Arrived at GZ, walked until we found what we were looking for, nice camo, Odlids made the quick find, signed and replaced, then enjoyed a walk through the area. Thanks to The Hancock Clan a very fitting cache for your 1st in Australia.

TFTC,
This has been on my must do list for years. Another Hancock Can cache found.
Now that was a big surprise. The cache is about more firsts than I thought about. A big thanks for bringing us here.
Nana nel, odlids and myself did a caching trip in the Riley last weekend that took us to the Illawarra escarpment for lunch and all agreed to do it again. And so a plan was made to pick odlids up at 10 AM and cross the city in style, first class 1950's naturally.
We were involved in a facebook conversation with tronador and found out that Parkrun had been given up for a rest and so a fourth member was added to our adventure.
Our first point of call was the starting point and after gathering the information required we calculated where this offset multi would take us decided to have lunch at the nearby bakery. Off to GR and we worked our way through a maze to end up at GZ as it started to rain.
Signed the replacement log in it's new inner container and checked out the condition of the aged ammo box.
Visited trackables and added a favourite for the learning experience.

Joined nana Nel and wazza9 in the Riley for an outing to do this geocache, a slight detour to pick up tronador. A few other firsts for us on the way.....ANZAC bridge crossing, and the Cross City Tunnel! Thanks to all for this opportunity, great company, a fascinating cache, and a lovely area to explore. Stopped by this morning to clean this one up and to replace the container and contents. We will keep the the original logbook at home as it was too big for the new cache. Left the rusty ammo box there as added camo, and to show the effects of eleven years of weathering!

Thank you, The Hancock Clan for this neat cache!! I solved the co ordinates a while back but, as I was on foot, the final was a bit far for that short leave pass.

So today I set out for a place I hadn't been before.. Got totally lost, which is not unusual for me in such areas, but in the end I found the cache (and one either side of it, I've been wanting to hunt for a while).

I emptied out about two inches of water. I rather like the rusted authenticity of the container.

Favourite point.

Having gained the answers and then the final co-ords, I headed off in search of the final cache.
Parked the car nearby and then it was a pleasant walk towards the cache. After a brief search I soon spotted hiding there. The container was already well rusted and after signing the log and getting ready to return it, the bottom fell out of it. I returned it upside-down, but the next finder needs to lift it with care. Could do with a replacement container.
A first for sure. TFTC Big Grin

I really should have used the geochecker before I left the gravestone. I suspect that I was only out by a small distance, but I was standing in a car park, which clearly is not where I was supposed to be. Alas, I will have to come back another time. It was good to visit WP1 at any rate!

Cheers

My plans to grab The HC latest (last?) cache were canned when my rowing buddy pulled up sick. So I decided to head off in a different direction and finally go in search for their first, since I actually solved it a couple of months back, but haven't been able to get to GZ.

On a cold late winter arvo, I parked and headed on a nice bush walk, before ascending to get closer to GZ. Then at only a few metres away, I spied it not quite hidden but not quite out in the open, with it's dark colour giving it enough cover from muggles. What surprised me more was the massive rust hole on one side, but fortunately all was dry inside. Hasn't anyone else before me noticed that? no mention in any previous logs! I contacted the CO to inform them, and they will check on it soon. I also hid it a little more out of sight, but still close enough to the coords.

An enjoyable multi, providing an interesting little history lesson at the coastal cemetery and a lovely park to go for a wander around at GZ. Worthy of a FP from Brew. TFTC

Random plan was made with caching buddy to find my last few geocaches in Sydney (for a long time). What better to end it with caches in the Eastern Suburbs!
I've had gz coords to this cache for 2 years now, as I used to work opposite from the cemetery of Our First Prime Minister ! Today, I finally got to redeem a smiley at this cache. A huge ammo can (quite rusted though)! Yay!
The weather was wet but the walk was easy after we slid down the hill ! Enjoyed the walk before we headed out to pick up CO of Lost Treasures of Bondi !

This was our first visit to this cemetery and the person in focus was a surprise. With the info quickly gathered and GZ plotted, we headed off on this hot autumn morning. Got a nice park in the shade and grabbed a traditional on our way. I had been to this area previously so had some idea where we needed to go. There certainly has been a bit of work done here since my last visit. We got quite warm following the paths up and up and happy to find my favourite container type in a logical spot. SL and left TB

I went to WP1 some months ago.
The person there was one of my favourite people to set for a research task, a very interesting fellow. The students always agreed and said he was much better than the person they'd picked to research.

So I cruched the numbers and of course the resulting co-ordinates meant nothing and I couldn't see anything familiar on the map so I just drove off following the arrow on the hand held GPS, continually wondering where I was I going, what suburb was I in?

Once it got down to 500m I saw something that gave a clue as to where I was being taken. I reached a spot where the road was closed so I abandoned the geomobile and headed off on foot. Not long after I could see where I was heading and soon found an entry point to the path. I followed the path ..... then the track was closed due to a sort of landslip above the path which had happened in a recent storm (yep it was months ago). I contemplated going around anyway but there were workers giving me the evil eye so I decided I was not going to make the find that day.

Today I headed over for another attempt. I started at a different entry to the track, just in case. The walk was really good, the path is well maintained and the habitats are interesting.
Once I arrived near GZ, the GPS couldn't make up its mind, N S E or W it wanted to try them all, so I stood for a few moments and looked around and spotted a likely place. On checking a good sized cache was found, log signed and some TBs visited.

TFTC really enjoyed it, I'll be researching more of your multis.

Upon walking to this cache I called myself the multi master. Turned out I was not. It was misspalot who was the master. While I couldn't follow instructions she solved all the clues. Everything added up and at GZ we followed the wet wet paths to the cache. A great little unexpected history lesson here which made this cache super memorable and rewarding. Thanks for the cache!

With raindoctor - the multi master, for this cache, though I would say his performance was underwhelming today :p
Walked across from diamond bay and was mighty surprised by the owner Smile collected the clues and back to geomobile to final coordinates. Raindoctor took a precautionary photo of the map to be on the right track. From this level the walk felt like another world. Thanks for bringing is here.
Ps it is at this point that i realised I've been writing 3/3/17 on the caches, because I didn't adjust my watch. Whoops, hopefully raindoctor didn't take notice of me when I told him the date...

I've had the coordinates for this one for ages and ages. Then I lost them. Then the CO kindly gave them to me again. They then sat saved in my phone for months again. The plan was always to pop over one day after work for the retrieval. In retrospect not such a good idea.

Thankfully I found myself in the area today in attire more suited to the retrieval of this one. Found my way up a maze of paths to finally get within a reasonable distance of GZ. Not surprisingly given the terrain the GPS was all over the place. How to find the cache? To find a Hancock cache, you have to think like a Hancock. Suddenly I found myself wanting a chicken burger.....

Putting such thoughts aside, I searched all of the usual Hancock type hides eventually finding a very bedraggled looking ammo can. Thankfully the insides were pristine though and the duties were completed. Only now I wanted a curry.....

Took a slight diversion from my usual route to work today to pick up a few caches around the Bellevue Hill area. This was the 4th of 4 finds, and 3 DNF's, for the morning.

Back today to see if I could finish this one. Stopped off at the park and headed off down the pathway toward final GZ. Unfortunately the most direct route was closed for maintenance, so I had to take the much longer round about route.

Finally arrived at GZ and quickly spotted the prize, a nice big "classic" type caching container. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Then, noting that I was quickly running out of time to get to work, I opted for a shortcut that had me entering a closed off section of track. Had to duck around a fence barrier at the end but, being a Public Holiday, there weren't any workers around to challenge my "breach of security" and I was soon back at the geomobile and on my way to work.

Thanks Hancock Clan for a fun little multi-cache covering 2 nice locations.

Took a slight diversion from my usual route to work today to pick up a few caches around the Vaucluse area. A total of 4 finds for the morning.

Stopped off at the first waypoint (posted coords) of this one, after visiting Macquarie Lighthouse to obtain the Japan coords for "World Wide Cache - Oceania", and gathered all of the info required for the final GZ location calculation. Determined final GZ location, but it's a little too far off my route today, and I'm also out of time for getting to work today, so will visit when next in the area.

Thanks The Hancock Clan for the cache so far, and hope to finish it soon.

First off please disregard my note below. Despite the temporary closure signs on some of the tracks it is possible to access the cache. I wouldn't have known this without the log of cachem8 and I certainly would not have been able to find the cache without his help while on site. A big thank you to cachem8. It was a well constructed cache for a first one and I hope I can put out as good a cache for my first one. The only complaint I have is that the mossies were nearly as big as the cache. Visited the cemetery to collect the information while geosis was collected from school. Funny... I would have thought someone of such significance would be buried in a grand tomb for all to see. But an interesting piece of history. Walked down to the park later in the day and found the cache and checked on a cache of my own in the park. Cache is rusty but still works fine (although the camo is definitely 'ratty'), so I added some more. A nice and easy short but enjoyable multi - a good first cache. Tftc

Due to a couple of land slips the cliff top walk is closed. Council are currently doing construction work to repair the damage, however, enquires to the foreman indicated that it would be at least six months before the work was completed.

Out for a day of caching in the Vaucluse area, we headed for this multi cache. Had some problems finding a parking spot on this pretty Sunday afternoon, but soon we could head up to the grave of the prominent person. Collected the necessary clues and went back to the car to calculate the coordinates for GZ.
Evince was not nice to us on the phone, so we just assumed that we had done the right things.
Not being of English or English speaking descent we had some issues with vowels versus consonants in this language. This showed when we arrived towards GZ, which appeared to be in a very illogical place.
Having re-thought a bit and re-calculated we got a location which looked a bit more probable.
Once at this location we still were not sure, since the GPSr had some issues under the leafy trees.
We noticed a mattress covering a small cave close by, wonder if it was in use by someone?
After a bit more searching we saw something 'suspicious' and could extract the cache and its contents.
While signing the log we got a visit from a domestic cat being out on an excursion.

In 2 minds whether to just delete the recent "needs maintenance" log but we won't just in case anyone gets confused to what a vowel is!

05-Aug-16
The letter Y is not necessarily a consonant - see [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consonant#Letters)!
In the name of Thomas's wife, it is actually a vowel according to Wikipedia.
Just posting this here as a NM log to let you know about it - it might be helpful to give a hint in the listing that Y is considered as a consonant here.

It must have been late in 2008 that I first visited Waypoint one and was quite shocked that I did not know that this famous person was buried here. I was even more impressed at the time that you guys were on top of Australian history.

As this place is very close to the family home I have been here at least twice more to get the details having lost the original information. Today was the day that I finally visited this place to confirm the numbers and get cracking with info.

They day was starting to get a little damp but I was not deterred as I NEEDED this cache and off I went.
It was a great walk in an area that I have not been to since a young lad when my parents encouraged me to play tennis. I was more of a Rugby, Soccer and League kinda kid so the tennis didn't last long.

I loved the walk to the big cache and even though it there to be seen, it was still difficult to actually be seen to grab. Good Camo.

Thanks Hancock Clan for the history lesson (I was shamed) and glad I am I have finally got this one done. I love your caches.

#2821 (2 of 4 today) (Streak day 295)

Spent the morning doing the SCG & Allianz Stadium tour, then lunch with friends in Randwick.
Afterwards, decided to pick up a few more caches near the coast - T4+ caches excluded!

Found four - one with another cacher - and DNFed 2.
An OK caching day.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Arrived at the published coordinates and found the paths to... Ah. that makes sense!
Gathered the required information and calculated GZ. OK.

Grabbed another cache on the way, and then made my way to GZ of this one.
Passed a familiar area and finally got to a spot where I had only 2 metres.

checked the obvious and spotted nothing. Widened my search slightly, and spotted the somewhat uncovered container.

Took a short distance to complete signing duties and dropped the *Oz Mega 2014 Murray Bridge Geocoin*.
Then rehid a little better.

I have to say I've seen a few caches with similar names, but this is one that has really earned it.
A favourite.

4335. Found with Chalk It Up and Relish64. We all decided that we should have a crack at this one as we have enjoyed previous multi's in cemeteries.
Parking was a bit of an issue with the local sporting facilities rather busy.
We wandered up to the listed coords and had preconceived ideas which didn't help us. Eventually the penny dropped and we were rather surprised to find this here. No troubles gathering the info and we then set off to GZ.
A nice wander in the park, gathering some other traditionals along the way, and then a quick find for this one.
Yep, another neat multi cache in a cemetery and a favourite for sure.

Much further away than I initially expected, but still a fun find. Nice walk to the second spot.

Awesome evening exploring!! Took a while but loved it!!

I'd ridden out to Watson's Bay over the last couple of days so today was a little tired, although I had had the opportunity to visit WP1. Today I gave myself a little break by setting this great location as my caching venue for the evening. Technically, this cache wasn't my 400th, but it seemed the most fitting of the day to become that milestone (really 402nd) Wink.

After finding the first two caches of the evening I climbed up the slope, picking through the network of tracks with a certain amount of luck, and then contoured along for a while. At GZ, my position started jumping all over the place and I seemed to spend quite a while 5 - 10 m away from the hide. Eventually, there it was, aged camouflage and all.

I wanted to leave a TB but earlier in the evening discovered that I'd left my TB bag at home. Shame - all four caches of the day were big enough. Anyway, what a great cache!! Where are you all? Thanks, Hancocks, have an FP.

Yebo Hancock clan

A couple of weeks ago I thought I had gathered all necessary numbers and tried them out yesterday as I planned a vaucluse-day-caching - but the evidence thing told me: wrong! Grumbling to myself I left it and went over for another visit today, coming from diamond bay.... This time I took my time, took the correct numbers and off I went to GZ on foot.... Took a while to get there and what a difference to the coast - just loved it! (Have my august multi-extra-challenge already but couldn't resist to keep on caching on a free sunny day)
Sl and still had the Super great feeling, favorite point Smile

Found this morning with JordsAU and Morry9, whilst out on the calendar gap and DT rating cache hunt that brought us out to Vaucluse. CJ, wasn't around to join us on this one and I know she would've liked to have done this with us. C'est La vie.

We made an attempt on this about two weeks ago, but didn't come up with the correct coords. Today with the numbers all sorted the posse came back to collect this one. The coords were excellent and the trail in is like a rain forest. I was a little paranoid about leeches, with all the recent rain. However, all was good. The cache log are in good nick. We did the signing duties and replaced it exactly as found.

You got love getting out into the bush from the urban surrounds. Thanks The Hancock Clan for another your of your sneaky caches. Interesting to learn about where our first was buried. SL TNLN TFTC

Found with Mystic Seer after several weeks had past since our first visit to WP1. My goodness, there are many famous people 'resting' here and what a beautiful view as well. Arriving at GZ was an adventure, I think I've lost a few pounds today, but it was well worth the visit, a fav point from me and TFTC

With Snickersallan. Worked this one out a few weeks back and decided to finish today. I love walking through these old graveyards. So much forgotten history. Off to find the cache some km away. Cunning hide. A fave point awarded. SL TNLN TFTH TFTC

What a great multi! I initially started this cache in early April, quite surprised to discover the resting place of such a prominent and important yet rather under-celebrated Australian. We're perhaps not as good at giving our historic figures the respect they deserve as Americans and Europeans. I worked through the questions and calculated the final coordinates (which geochecker agreed with) but missed the little note in the description that listed the distance between the listed coords and GZ! As I was on foot that day, I saved the coords and resolved to find it soon.

Fast-forward about a month, and I finally found some time to head out to GZ to make the find. I was quite familiar with the area as I'd already been there twice before finding several other caches hidden nearby. I'd probably almost walked past the cache at least once before, despite this at 40m out I again found myself on the wrong path and facing the prospect of a bush-bash. Not dressed for it, I switched from Google Maps to OpenStreetMaps for navigation, which for once contained better information, thus I was able to back-track a little and find the correct path to GZ and locate the cache (together with the give-away camo) quite quickly.

After performing signing duties, and reviewing a few previous log entries, I replaced cached and covered with camo as best I could, and headed on my way. TFTC The Hancock Clan, another favourite cache for me! Smile

Wow, what an adventure. First, solving the multi at WP1 was very interesting. I didn't know such an esteemed person was laid to rest there. We collected the info a couple of weeks ago and today had an opportunity to attempt the find. We parked on somewhere other than what was suggested which put us on the wrong side but we were pleased as we got to enjoy more of the walk. Once we closed in on GZ, the GPS was really bouncing around and had us going up, down and side to side. Eventually we stumbled on an area that looked perfect for a cache and as we walked up we saw some sneaky camo. On closer inspection we uncovered the ammo box and opened to find a number of interesting items. We took an interesting decorative piece and left a few little goodies for kids. We thought the difficulty and the terrain were a little more difficult than what it is rated as. Thoroughly enjoyed both legs of this multi. TFTC Hancock Clan. Favourite from us.

On our last visit to this area we found our numbers and this time went to GZ, which is in a superb location. We spent some time there and were tempted to try morning tea at the cafe. Near GZ we followed the cachers trail up the more difficult approach but returned the more sensible way, after finding the nicely hidden container. Thanks for an interesting WP1 and great multi, we really enjoyed this one.

This has been kind of a slog--since I currently don't own a car, it involved one caching trip to Watson's Bay with a long walk, then another to this park a few days later to what I thought were the correct coordinates.

Well, apparently there's a little difference of opinion about vowels and consonants, so I was off, and my mistake led me to terrain that just seemed too difficult for the task at hand. Stupidly I didn't see the coordinate checker, so I went home and e-mailed the CO for verification, finding out what my error was. As an American, I often suspect that the English rules I learned don't always match up with Aussie (or, probably, UK) education, so I've decided that it's not right or wrong, just different...

Anyway, back to GZ today, even though it was pretty rainy and slick. The find was actually rather easy now, especially since I'd tried out several of these trails on my first attempt and more or less knew where I was going. Really enjoyed learning the Australian history, too. TFTC!

I am fan of cemetery caches. This one was fascinating. The person in question is also well known in my neck of the woods. He/she at sometime lived here and there are numerous plaques erected in various places commemorating the fact. It's nice to find the final resting place.

I then drove to the final location. I have been here before in search of another geocache. On that occasion I came across a two meter long green (harmless) snake on the trail. It slithered away and across a nearby children's playground!.

I had a bit of trouble finding the right level. When the GPSr said 45 m to go I decided to straight line it up the hill. Of course, once I got up the hill I found the easy access in. The GPSr was jumping around but I found the hide and the very large ammo can! You gotta love 'em.

Thanks The Hancock Clan. The cache is in good shape. Found at 4:40 pm.

Great multi, you do wonder where where they would lay him.
Worked out the consonants to the full name and had me in a school. Quickly re- read description and had a better GZ. Drove the short distance and a nice walk down to have CIH quickly. Fav point awarded, TFTC

Got all the information we needed this afternoon but will save GZ for another day. What a nice surprise to find out who we were visiting. Nice to see that the resting place appears well cared for. Will be back. Cheers... Gaztek

I found the cache yesterday in another suburb. Today, I was driving past the WP1 graveyard between finding "The Final Cut" and "Diamond Bay" when I spotted a kestrel perched on Jeebers. Just wanted to share some photos...

9/08/13. 2:02 PM. Cache #817. Current streak: 334 days. 2nd of 3 caches in a lunchtime cache session in a park fairly far away from WP1 (hence leaving the final for another day). I won't spoil which park it's in (others have already done that), but if you look at which caches I found before and after this I'm sure you'll work it out. Easy to get to (bit of a sweaty walk up the hill via a few hairpin turns), and easy to find; love finding the big ones. Moved further west to the next one. Thanks Hancocks! }:)

4/08/13. 3:51 PM. After finding a pair of caches at Watsons Bay, I headed down to this multi. The GPSr took me to the right headstone and then I was surprised to see whose it was; the cache name now taking on a new meaning. I calculated the location of gz but decided I did not have enough time to head over to that new location today as I had afternoon drinks to head off to. Another day...
