Agree. Looked for a while but no luck. Wondering how long the poly pipe has been cable tied to the steel pipe, perhaps it has been dislodged by accident?
I have also searched for a long time at low tide.
So I think that the cache is disappeared.

1110hrs. Was a pleasant day on this side of the island and the tracks were in good condition after the fire and were open, not like when we arrived. Enjoyed watching the people fishing and saw a shark nearly caught after a long battle from the jetty only to break off as he was trying to beach it. The pies at the jetty are cheaper than in the village. Could spend more time here but as it was our last day it was time to move on. Had to reach the cache for Griffo. TFTCSL
Found on our last day on Fraser Island. Saw a fisherman attempt to pull in a 5ft shovelnose shark, without luck.
Had to geta fellow cache to reach the cache for me though.
Thanks

Found as a part of Team SaintsMadHouse and now that the kids have grown we each have our own accounts to finddd geocaches with separately wherever we go!the name finally made sense when we found it. This is a lovely spot and a popular one for wedding photos! We did this as a night cache using mobile phone screen as a light source, took a little sticker and very appropriately - we left a squeezy fishing lure (no hook of course) happy caching and fishing!

Here on a visit from Canada. Love this little Island. Took the tag and left some coins and a pin. Also had a great 4X4 ride and saw some amazing things.
Great place.

Found this one with Brownski1 whilst enjoying a day on the island. Cache is in good condition but it no longer has it's magnetic attraction. TFTC.
Was looking for something different, but found the repaired/replaced cache.

What a nice location for this cache. This was my first trip to Fraser Island and it was really great. I've seen a few beaches afterwards, but the most beautiful ones were seen on fraser island. Thanks for leading me here.

I was afraid tide might have been too high... but found without a problem! I did get absolutely SOAKED from rain when heading back to the room though. Left some SWAG for the empty cache.
Last day of my hike at Fraser Island, waiting to catch the barge back to main land. Some of the biggest king tides ever, way to much water to even attempt a find. Will be back in June to snatch this one, Hopefully the tides will not be so huge.
Yes!!! Great place to remember 600th. Found with Aussie Girl Gee while staying at KingFisher Bay Resort. TFTC
Nice easy find, really enjoy Fraser Island. Baby also enjoyed playing in the sand by the cache.
Thanks for the cache

We attempted this cache a couple of times. Now convinced this one has gone MIA we have now placed a cache as close to the coords as we could. Logged with permission from Duck! thank you for the chance to enjoy another of the fantastic spots Fraser has to offer. So hopefully now people will continue to enjoy this great spot with the opportunity to nad a cache.
Accompanied with Coruze and Troobloo, Thanks to Coruze for replacement the container. After twice attemp. Lovely old jetty. SL. Thanks Duck! and Family and Diesel48

Hunted for two hours with friends and no luck. A very damp day. Very few muggles due to time of year and weather. Enjoyed the dip in Lake Makenzie.
A single muggle amongst the beach goers kept a close eye on us from a distance while talking on his phone, but we casually persisted anyway for half an hour. Unable to located despite the hints in the cache description and the cache hint.
Yeah! Studybreak - 6 days of holiday!
Found this cache easily on my last day!
Thanks heaps!

thanks Duck! and Family and Diesel48, for hiding this little one. Quick find while waiting for the ferry to take us back to hervey bay, after an amazing three days on fraser.
#574 - Found while we waited for the ferry to take us away from Fraser Island. It has been a great holiday. 4WDriving is a new experience for us. Great fun TFTC
We are visitors from the Netherlands and are here for a 4 days trip on Fraser Island. It is our second visit and again we are amazed by the beautifulness of this island. Although not everyone of the family is interested in cache hunting, I took my change to find two caches. We found this one on our last day on the island. TFTC
Nice easy one, thankyou. Unfortunately we were not able to sign the log book as we had no pen and were on our way to the barge to go home. What and amazing island ... we will be back )

we drove 10 ... but before that we had to get two RAV4 out of the way. They were bogged while trying to drive inland. Wasn't really working.

Enmjoying our 2 week holiday on the island with friends. Out with pprass today we ventured across the island to visit the resort. I am glad we are on the east side camping and the evening meals were better as well. Nice and relaxing through the day while the hunters were out fishing. Had a great day.Took a trip up on the top to get a great view.Glad I was with some tall people to retrieve number 10. (Still trying to work out the name.)
Thanks for bringing us here

Found at 4.40pm GAFF1 in the comany of xambo4u. We had a reasonable meal at the bistro and then some fun fishing for small fishon the jetty, while the rest of the crew had a sim in the pool. The tracks across from the east coast are very rough in places and we rescued some lovely English girls in a 4wd alng the way. Had a great adventure today.
Thanks all..
Thanks all..
While on holiday in Kingfisher Bay Resort (from Europe),
we searched for this cache and others on the island.
This one was easy: leaving the hotel pool for a short
walk on the beach, examining the jetty and ....
there it is !
While opening the cache we nearly lost the magnet,
falling out of it. So be careful !
Thanks for our first Queenland cache !

Found this one while staying at the resort for the weekend. Fishing was good on the jetty today, caught a few which is unusual for us. Great location and excellent hide. TFTC
Found on way into Kingfisher Bay after four day hike. Threw the packs down, did some monkey business and then we were headed straight to the bar! Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Only just getting around to logging it now! TFTC!
Found this one after a five day hike. Thought we'd pamper ourselves at the resort - very nice by the way!
A great location for the cache, found at high tide which meant less search area! Came back at low tide and was amazed by how far it had gone out! Very large mud flat area!

Cache #258. Found at 23:16. After a daylong trip across Fraser Island (Lake McKenzie, Wanggoolba Creek, Lake Wabby Lookout, The Pinnacles, Maheno Wreck, Wanggoolba Creek and back to Kingfisher Bay Resort) we walked over from the hotel to the beach and found this one after a short search.

I wanted to search for this one ever since I arrived at Fraser Island two days ago. Because I was with a travel group, I could not manage to come down here to search for it. I already gave up on finding this cache, but then there was a short opportunity prior to boarding the ferry back to the mainland (5 minutes of free time), so I hurried down the pier and found the cache after two minutes of searching.
Found at 7:25 am.
Many thanks for the cache!

1063rd find. While attending the 4WD Fraser Island Clean-up Weekend, we couldn't resist looking for some caches too. We had actually visited here while sailing in the Great Sandy Straits the day after this cache was published, but we didn't know it had been placed so we missed out looking for it on our last visit. Thanks for the cache Duck! and Family and Diesel48
After a nice day trip we found this one. Good spot. Not sure how it will go in the big seas.
Cheers

Quick find without the gps, having read the clue and finding ourselves near the jetty a quick scan soon located it.

Sorry The Molinnis Crew, we didn't even realise this one hadn't been found until we cracked open the cache container...
A shared FTF with Eynowd on our honeymoon, what a surprise!
Had a great time using my camera as cover, saw things in a different light. The swallows sure love to play there, don't they?

Joint FTF with Dvixen!
Dvixen and I got married on the October 11th, and we decided to have our honeymoon on Fraser Island. She'd been there before and loved it, so it seemed a perfect spot.
So, after the first day of a three day Cool Dingo tour, we were left on the beach near the jetty to watch the sunset. Dvixen fired up the GPS and realised how close we were, so off hunting we went
After about 10 minutes of hunting, I came up with the find (the hide was very nice). Even better, the log was still unsigned! Getting a FTF on our honeymoon certainly was an unexpected bonus for us both
After rehiding the log, we rejoined our tour mates and enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the beach nearby.
