###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address any issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done, and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary, or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this, that is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by ack son of hack and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is there, and in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

I poked around where my GPS took me, but no luck. Last find was 01/Aug/2021. DNF!
What a fabulous piece of history here. It was getting dark so we didn’t have time to explore the cemetery fully, but seeing the look of the oldest headstones as being the same as those from Devonshire St was super. Sadly, the cache container is broken and full of ants and their babies. Time for a refresh here for sure.
Yes, found it
Log is damp. Container needs replacing.
I should carry some supplies with me for these situations.

Today I drove around the area to visit the five towns in the Hawkesbury as part of the AL cache published by phlphotos and the Hawkesbury River Wander by Splitty Miller. Along the way there were plenty of traditional caches, so I selected a few which were not too far from my planned route.

Nice and easy find while we were ducking in and out between storms. The log is pretty wet on this one. Tftc
Stopped in the area so thought we could see if we could grab this before it started to rain. What a cool piece of Australian history in this one graveyard. The cache really does need some attention. A new log and container I was only just able to sign. For the find.
Finally found.
Was about to give up the search when a friend called and I headed back uphill towards my car. Just near the gates I spotted a container and it was the cache 50 mtrs from GZ. Lid is missing but log is dry.
I returned the cache to GZ.
If CO needs I can supply a photo and description of the cache location.
Thanks for the cache.

Ok, thanks I will look at this cache very shortly and see what needs to be done.
Catching up on some logs. Container lid is broken and the log is sodden.
Great little cemetery though. Was here years ago and this has long been on my list.

#8 Cache attempted today along our geo tour. We drove to the dirt road and parked in front of the entrance. We walked down to the cache and paid our respects to the passed. We noticed the Rose family and the many people who were the first settlers. Cache was easily found, a bit rusty. Signed log. TFTC!
I parked at the top to stroll over to GZ,great coords had me right on the hide

Just picked up a couple of caches to keep the tally ticking over. This cache was in the only place it could be, so it was an easy find. Log signed, all done. Thanks for the cache.
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Vineyard for a short three day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Avina Caravan Park, and planning on exploring the areas around Vineyard, McGraths Hill, Mulgrave, Windsor, Wilberforce, and Ebenezer. And being the final weekend of the Cache Carnival (ends Monday) we will be looking to maximise our score on the Friends Leaderboard. Today we were heading up to Ebenezer and then to Australiana Pioneer Village at Wilberforce. This was our 3rd find of the day, and 43rd find of the holiday.
Arrived at the wrong end of the cemetery, so drove around to the entrance gates and parked outside. Headed down to the Rose Family gravestones, and to GZ for a quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found (well covered). Spent a short time reading the inscriptions on the gravestones, before exiting the cemetery and continuing our journey to Ebenezer. TFTC ack son of hack.

Left Port Macquarie heading south to the Mega event At Canberra.
Our 3rd stop on the way staying at the Richmond club.
Last day in town decided that we would tour the more rural areas this afternoon, getting away from the city traffic.
Took away the old container & left a new container & log book. May last for awhile.
Thanks for placing this cache ack son of hack

Found today in the company of thomo31, container damaged, we will try to return and replace it but if someone gets there first a small sistema will do the trick.
Thanks for the cache.

I like caches in cemeteries as they have so much history. To see the graves of the first free settlers in our colony was very interesting.
The cache was an easy find but the container was completely full of water, not unexpected after all the severe storms we've had in the last week.
As others have said the cache lid is broken and once I'd prized it off I emptied the water out and added a small sheet of paper from my caching notebook as a temporary log. Everything was so out of shape that it was impossible to get the lid back on so I placed the container upside down which should stop the water getting in.

I do love wandering around these historic graveyards, looking at the names of families that lived in the area all those years ago. In a way it's also sad to see that many of the graves have fallen into disrepair, probably because there are no further descendants who live nearby who could tend the graves. Just goes to show that in the cosmic scheme of things we are here for just an instant, and don't leave much of a mark over the centuries.
It wasn't difficult to find the cache, and nobody was out and about in the heat of the late afternoon. The problem is that the lid of the container is cracked and thus not waterproof. The contents were soggy and mouldy. I decided to take a photo rather than try peel apart furry pages to try sign my name.
The container and the contents will definitely need some maintenance, sorry to say.

Container lid is cracked; container is no longer waterproof. The contents are soggy and mouldy.
Another day OCW marj01. After a very early start from the eastern subs we arrived at Ebenezer at first light to commence the day. During the course of the day we visited 69 trads, 4 multis, 2 puzzle and 2 letterbox caches. With only a handfull of dnfs it was a successfull day, with the majority of the caches being found in a reasonably short time. Thanks to all the COs for hiding and maintaining their caches and providing us with a fun day. Cheers oldmorty.

I'm back working in North Richmond and thought I'd do a loop around Wilberforce and Glossodia to grab some caches that I'd been looking at. Well, throughout the course of the morning I'd decided to back track back to the Putty Rd from Glossodia and widen the loop out to East Kurrajong, Kurmond and Back to to North Richmond.
As I found the entrance to the cemetery another car also pulled up, hmm a fellow cacher or not? So I wait to see, no, we was just tidying a grave and was off again.
It feels a bit weird traipsing around inside a cemetery. Anyhow, I was here now and a cache had to be found.
At first I wasn't sure what I should be looking for, what with vases, loose rocks etc. There are some very old graves here, but then logic kicked in and I knew that the hide wouldn't be on any grave sites. Then I spotted something a little out of the ordinary, aha, there you are. The log was signed and the cache was replaced as found.

2 DNFs for today
3 of 16 finds today.
Cache/Log: Cache container looks a little worse for wear but is still watertight, log is in good condition and dry.

7/6/17. 1:02 PM. Cache #5087.
5th of 8 finds (& 4 DNFs) today - Freemans Reach, Wilberforce, Ebenezer.
Miserable wet day but I wanted a bunch, so brought the wet weather gear. Also hoping the cold & flu tablets keep my lurgie at bay while I'm out & about.
The rain had stopped, but I'd just got my first DNF of the day at "Wood 11th - Ironbark", so was hoping for a smiley here. Trudged up the soggy hill to get in thru the gates at the top, then a visit to the Roses at GZ. Quick find once I was here, phew! Off to "Wood 1st - Woodlands Park" next. TFTC.

Tftc . Picked a good time to do this cache, as there were no visitors at the time.
Easy find, however the cache and log were saturated. We dried out the cache container as best as we could, and added a replacement log inside a new baggie. Placed the old wet log in a seperate baggie so the other content stay dry. TFTC

Went for a longer drive today to check out an area full of new puzzle caches. Decided to grab a few more on the way home.
Took a little while to find the cache amongst the roses and was eventually greeted by a soggy log. Felt tip pen did its trick, but a replacement log book and zip lock bag would be very welcome for future cachers.

Time for a nice drive around the area doing some caches. Thanks for bringing me here.
Parked the car across the road and entered the cemetery with the usual respectful approach. Followed the GPSr to a corner where we started the search for the cache. It did not take very long to identify a location which eventually turned out to be the hide.
Last time i came here there was activity in the area so thought i would try again today. No-one around so parked down the bottom before i realised the gate was up the top. I needed to do some walking today so headed up. A quick find. Signed log and replaced. TFTC
Today's in such beautiful weather I took a tour from Wilberforce to Ebenezer and took the ferry across the Hawkesbury back to Tizzana Road. I was able to look at old buildings along the tracks, taking a nice busch walk to enjoy the beautiful view of the river.
This tour was very nice and I have enjoyed myself very much
Thank you

Out and about with Happy Uke today. We only managed one yesterday so we were looking to bag a few today.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Finalf29 and I had only managed to grab one cache yesterday (international geocaching day), due to family commitments...so we were determined to find a few on the way home today. We got five before tiredness took over and we just wanted to get home.
This was our fourth for the day. Had to drive around and around until we found an open gate. What an old cemetery. I probably have ancestors in here...though didn't have a too good a look around. Found the cache (now dry) and a little bit of history. Thanks
