I see lantana growing strong at GZ, not as a simple find as others have stated. CIH after 30mins hard work
I was out today on a caching run around the area visiting Nth Richmond Glossodia,Freemans Reach and up to Kurrajong Heights.
I had an excellent day caching out here finding almost all that I searched for,
Today was extremely warm and dry with a thick smoke haze blanketing throughout however this didnt dampen the day in the slightest,
It was a huge day with many finds so a big thank you to all the COs for placing their enjoyable hides,I do apologies for my generic logs.
Thanks for the cache

#5953 (1 of 5 today)
Haven’t been up this way for a while, so decided to head “Up The (Old) Windsor Road” for some finds today.
Decided to try for two more caches by **ack son of hack** and pick up a few other nearby.
In the end I found both of those caches but came up short on one. Still, got five and was back home well before the rain decided to hit. Good thing too as the last cache was a 2 kilometre round trip - on foot.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Started with this one. Parked short not realising there was a turning circle just past GZ.
Nice easy find - somewhat amazed that it hasn’t been found for seven months.
All good with the cache.
As I can be a little contrary, I took it IN to the National Park to complete signing duties (it’s placed well outside) then back for the replace.
Thanks **acko** and RIP.

Had a quick find today, nice drive and easy parking near the GZ - dropped a trackable here as well TFTC ack son of hack, I really enjoyed it!
LouLou0212 drove me to this cache today. She road raged on the way. It was scary. But we made it here alive. We found the cache and also a note from a muggle. At least they left the cache there. LouLou left a trackable. TFTC ack son of hack
Drove down the dirt road and then parked the car. Then walked the short distance to GZ. Had no problems in finding this cache after a very short search. The log was signed and then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you for the cache.
Thanks for the great hide cache was out in the open on the side of the road so replaced it next to the tree and covered with camo
I finally managed to find my way around to find this grose cache. I was so glad that I could drive right up to it as it was too hot to walk far.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
TFTC! Love this part of the world... Have taken a sabbatical from civilization. Love this tranquility.
A very quick walk to GZ from the car. Found a suspicious looking piece of camp which turned out to be a correct hunch. Cache container found and the contents all in good condition - signed the log and returned container to the place I found it. Covered with some extra camp. TFTC
After a short drive up a dirt track, a short search next to two trees, there it was. TFTC
Visiting relatives up the mountain and grabbing some caches along the way this been one of them. It's very dry here, need some rain. TFTC
after driving down the track arrived at an entrance (gated) to a national park not far from GZ. a short walk and the cache was in hand. tftc

On a somewhat cloudy storm brewing morning, a drive down the lane to a GZ full of the chirp and song of the varied birdlife ... a lovely spot to pause and bathe in the sounds of the carefree (half their luck ). TFTC

Went to Navua Reserve for a paddle in my canoe to try and get Clarke's Island, we aborted that mission once we were on the wrong side of the island so paddled all the back and looked up the next closest cache. That is how we ended up out here and now I've discovered a new place to come to walk my geodogs along a fire trail. SL #1592 on streak day #807 with nephew who signed as messi. TFTC

The final drive down to GZ felt like I was on someones private road. An interesting spot, thanks for bringing me here.
Found a tin bucket with nothing inside and 20 metres away from target, also found at least 5 pegs and party streamers near it, i think someone has chucked it there
Never seem to get to this cache. I noticed this one soon after I started caching towo years ago. Today finally was the day. TFTC.

Well I'm confused with this one. Found a cache at the location but it only had a few entry's in the log from 2008! Checked the FTF and it lined up. But there was a saga with its earlier location and it was moved. I'm wondering if I've found the old cache and rather than being moved it was substituted?? Anyway , found a cache at the co-ords so I'm taking the find!!
Bit of a mystery this one!
Not the current cache apparently but still the original from 08!
But a cache at the co-ords so takin the find!

Went out with Mum at night so that she could continue her streak. I was the only one still awake when we got home.
#949 and Day 50!!!
I was discussing potential caches for tonight with bikerbuddy & dismissed this one because the terrain rating seemed a bit high for a nighttime cache. But since he'd been here before, he said it was doable, so this became my cache of choice for making it to day 50 of my streak, the halfway point.
I probably wouldn't have continued on my way to this one by myself, but with bikerbuddy navigating, it was an easy drive. And once at GZ, I didn't even bother with the GPS as I spotted an extremely likely spot to investigate in the car's headlights. Cache was successfully located .
Thanks .

Another good cache for the kiddies. Will have to come back up to walk the track one day. Picked up GeoCoin. Kids took little book, left strawberry stamp. TFTC.
Such a nice day for a ride set out from North Richmond up to Kurrajong with a stop at a cafe and lunch in Woods Reserve where we visited this cache. TFTC left trackable and took one .
This was a bit of an outlyer for us today, but I've had this cache on my to-do list for a while, and the extra few kms were worth it to get it done. I was surprised that we could drive all the way to GZ, and what was rated as a 3 star terrain turned out to be a walk of a few feet at what I would have pegged at a one and a half terrain. A nice easy find. We left a TB. Thanks
This was one which had been on our radar for a while. Being holidays we finally made it out there. A quick, easy find for bikerbuddy. Thanks
TFTC. Thought it would be a lot harder than this. Oh well, at least we found it.
found while on holidays.went off for day with son and grandson. sl.tftc. swapped trinkets.
Great first cache for me, just down the road from home. took toy soldier left bouncy ball. TFTC
We found it together as a family and took a smiley magnet and left a pink dolls toy TFTC SL

Wish this one had been able to stay in its original location, as I was keen to wander and see if I could spot the Hare we had seen on the road here... TNLN, but TFTC, never would have guessed there would be anything at the end of such a deserted drive as this!
Another stinker of a day, found the cache, stepped on the ants and stirred them up...aaaaaarrrgghhhh, let Littlebub do the main duties!! Took silver bowling grandma spoon, left TB. Thanks Acko!!
Thanks for the cache. Beatiful spot. Found with 2 geo kids. 2nd for the day. Left a dollar took soldier. Shame geocaching can't be used in national park.
Sign log. What a wonderful drive to a spot overlooking very well keep grounds. Tks acko. GazMag
Entry roads a little confusing turn onto Woods Reserve Rd and then stay right past 2 driveways.
Removed a couple of silver spoons and smiggle rubber and replaced with bracelet, fluffy dog head and wrist band.

We were just doing a cache or two in the area on our way home and were not too sure where this one was, in fact we thought we might have been on for a bit of a walk along the NP boundry. Since we had no maps with us today we just plugged the numbers into the GPS and it navigated us right up to GZ. Didn't even need to get the hand held one out.

Nice area, this would a great place to live. Took travel bug, left Alex the macca's talking toy.
Yes, that was us! Earlier, we saw a white 4x4 go down what we thought was a driveway across from the cache. When a "white 4x4" came down the road at a fast clip, we thought we'd best get out of there quickly, in case we inadvertently compromised the cache. We tried to act nonchalant - just a couple out for a drive, that's all... We're really sorry we didn't stop for a chat. Hopefully we'll have another opportunity though!

Not knowing what to expect, we made our way down ever narrowing roads until our GPSr signaled we had arrived at GZ. TNLNSL We were surprised to see the "Swamphen" (? First thought they were scrawny chook images!) warning signs on the road, but understood when we watched two of the birds in the pasture near the cache - they put on quite a show jumping up to catch insects! Thank you for the intro to this hidden entrance into the Blue Mountains National Park (it would have been interesting to see the original spot you picked), and for the nice cache Acko!

I think I nearly caught me a "Pip and Robbie" today. As I made the last turn into the road I saw a small silver car at the end (right at GZ) I wait for a minute or so and they moved and drove towards me before moving aside and letting me pass. As I did I glanced down and saw the odd GPS inside the car. My Caching radar immediately went "bing" and I wasn't surprised to see and entry in the log dated today. If it was you guys I'm sorry I wasn't a couple of minutes earlier so we could have met. While I was doing the business a woman on a horse can by, nothing unusual there, but the horse was blindfolded. She asked me to speak as she approached so I wouldn’t spook it. Pretty cool how the horse still managed to walk over the railing at the park entrance, with just a small clunk.

There seems to be a bunch of innuendo about cache placement in areas managed by the NPWS. The NPWS banned caching in areas they managed over five years ago and the reviewers choose to ignore this. Apparently there was an incident involving a cacher at the cache GC8C7A and the NPWS become involved from here on the story becomes muddy on who contacted Groundspeak but someone did and hence the situation we are now in. It would be really great if someone could publish the facts about this incident rather than keeping the facts to themselves.
Yes I reported this cache to the reviewer when it was placed in the wrong location and will continue to do so. If we do the right thing by the NPWS we may be able to cache once again in areas they manage.

EEEEWWWW well we finally came back here again for the 3rd time and are happily logging a find on this one.
Yes we did log a find once before but like swampy we removed it , think my head was running on auto pilot the last time.
Thanks for the cache acko and yes we did see the coin but left it there as we have had it before. Took the Sheep TB and a toy car Left a tb and AAA batteries.

Finished spitting your dummy Acko? you weren't the only one upset with the reviewers enforced change of policy, but you can thank fellow geocachers for it. Some of who contacted groundspeak directly to tell them of the NSW National Parks Geocaching policy which has been in place for a few years now but never enforced until recently.
Right onto the logging of this cache, an easy find.
Now for those who watch such things, yes this is my second log against this cache, but I deleted my first in total when it was pointed out to me that I really shouldn't log it under the original circumstances, and after thinking about I agreed.
I dropped in a TB and a geocoin, the coin I picked up at Tower126 but forgot to log out, so the next person to this cache can Discover it please.

OK I hve moved it after a whinge. I did not realize under the new rules that we will not be allowed to place a simple, harmless cache in a NSW Nat Park (as apposed to for EG SA Nat Parks). OK i realise the LAW IS always soooo correct that a cache ,less than 1 mtr, from free territory is ---Illegal-- and we have Sherrif Geocachers to watch us,
aww i give up

This cache tells a lot about the previous finders and the whole problem with caching in NSW. This cache is in a NATIONAL PARK and not one mention off this in any logs just a few vague hints. It also really interesting to note some of the finders are associated with the NSW caching mob, well you are certainly leading by example.
How could no one not notice the NPWS gate you had to cross, the large sign with the words Blue Mountains National Park, followed by the normal warning signs?
The cache could have just as easily been placed outside the NP.
