Looks like some pasture spayer got over enthused. All but two of about 60 punga are dead, and the cache is missing.
As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Area has been sprayed, rummaged around dead gorse and punga. With a few walkers and a restless 10 year old I couldn't stay around longer than 15min. Next trip maybe.
Searched high and low with no luck to the exact description. We did find behind a clump of pungas, lots of flakes of a green acrylic paint... possibly fallen off of a painted container that is no longer there? Mystery. Hope someone has more luck than us!
Bei unserm Neuseeland Urlaub auch hier vorbei gekommen... Gesucht und gefunden! Tolle Gegend hier...!!!
Danke fürs verstecken und herführen!

For some reason we decided to look for this one on the way back from Rapahoe to Cobden on our day out doing Pt Elizabeth track. Damn it. So sidetracked huffing and puffing going uphill that we missed it by about 90mtrs lol. Only 2 of us we keen enough to go back down to claim it just to walk back up the hill lol. But claim it we did. Nice easy find for the added exercise. tftc
A quick find on the way north from Greymouth this morning. I had gone for a walk the previous evening and cleaned up all the caches on the Point Elizabeth Walkway north of Cobden so this was the last one needed to complete the track until some nice person goes and places some more... Signed log, TFTC
Found during our roadtrip with Dopeyr during his trip from England. Zekeasaurus isn't one for walking so I get some weight training carrying him on my shoulders to caches like these. Lovely walk in the rain. A bit of time discovering the right place but a fairly simple find in the end. TFTC.
Nous avons marché tout au long de la Point Elizabeth Track. Vraiment beau parcours parfois dans la Rain Forest, et parfois sur le bord de l'océan. Le soleil était au rendez-vous. Et avec des caches en plus. Quoi demander de plus ?

Decided to run the track and back before work. Got to the end, turned around and then found this cache. Thanks for making a morning run a bit more fun.
Luckily the showers stopped long enough for us to walk to this cache. First time along this track and was disgusted to see so much evidence of dogs and bikes along here despite walking past 2 signs clearly stating they are not allowed. Cache was soon found once at GZ then a walk back to the car dodging multiple piles of dog sh*t! A great walking track spoiled by a few as is so often the case. We will be back though to walk the whole thing and pick up the other caches along the way. TFTC.
Another find for Holymu and me on a caching day taking us West as far as we could get. With threatening skies and surf up it was a typical 'coast day'. The walk to GZ was pleasant and is going to be walked end to end. Track damage by mountain bikes and copious amounts of dog sh*t put a damper on the experience though. The signs do state no access to both. TFTC
Pleasant walk on a fine morning, after having stayed the night at the campground. TFTC
Just about walked past, turned GPS on there i was 70m from it. Nearly got sprung by a runner while looking, didn`t even see me. Cheers for a good cache on a great walkway.
As we were about to give it up, we found it. TFTC winfriend from norway with a bunch of locals.

Managed to dodge most of the showers getting to and from this cache today. All good and no problems with the find. TFTC, Biggles.
Saved this for the return trip. GPS was very variable but the hide-out was very logical. Fantastic view on a glorious day. Good to find one of the three on this walk in good condition and in place.
Thanks for taking us to this nice walk.

6098 Went on the Rapahoe Run and saw more great views of the beach.... lots of pungas, and lots of WIND. TFTC
What a glorious day to do this cache. Did the walk then went for a walk in the lagoon part. Dropped off a geocoin but also picked up another one.
Came here after staying at the Rapahoe camp. Great view of the beach and the incoming rain. TFTC
Lovely views here and the local dairy provided great fish & chips to complete the stop. Left GC. TFTC
Shall definitely be keen to return and complete this walk. Gorgeous day today, but lacking the time!
Took a bit of searching, trying to hard as usual! Need to do this walk again, haven't for years. Nice views which Mandz took snaps of. TFTC
(407) Nice little walk to the cache site, Mrs Brogan walked the beach looking for Greenstone.. Great spot.. TFTC, SL
Found with JemNZ. Nice day. Great view. Will go back and do the walk sometime. TNLN. TFTC.
Wasn't planning on doing this one but when I pulled into the carpark and saw it was less than 400m I thought why not go see the view. So pleased I did as I found a cache and loved the views. Thanks for bringing me here.
Found with gracie7. Decided to start geocaching so I am logging all old finds. TFTC
Found once I already poked myself in the eye by a punga [B)] Took the 2 TBs to go in my new caches shortly, TFTC
Found this while jogging over the track. Used to run this track heaps a number of years ago. TFTC
5/12 today. Left our peice of paper behind, but found after a couple of mins looking. All in good cond. #105
We saw at least two runners on our way in (in the rain) in fact one of them past us in both directions. Nice easy find. Love this piece of coast. TFTC.
Is everyone training for the Coast to coast around here? Looked like it with the runners in the torrential downpour. Only they and MAD geocachers were about... TFTC.
Walked to this one from the Greymouth end of the trackso was very pleased to find it. Then walked all the way back. About a 3 hour round trip including a bite to eat and cache finds so I would recommend it if you want some exercise. TFTC
Absolutely pouring down in the middle of the night. What is it with caching that drains all the sensible behaviour out - whatever, glad to be part of it! Thanks.
Easy find for us but too late in the day to do the next one on the track but it'll keep till next trip. Left a wee green car.

Just the length of walk that suited us today. A stretch of the legs in a nice area as we drove up the Coast. And GPS took us straight to the cache. TNLN TFTC
Another cache we used to demonstrate caching to a new friend...

Found this with Madleech, fantastic view. A mate of mine ran this track most days when he lived in Greymouth.
