Aha, it's disabled. That might explain why I couldn't find it today. I wandered about, but couldn't see anything that specifically related to the hint - plenty of stumps, but nothing particularly new. Eventually gave up and moved on to more fruitful hunts elsewhere.
Yes it does look like this area is unfortunately used by the locals as their garden rubbish dump site. Pretty disgusting really - you'd think with their flash houses and flash cars they could afford to hire a trailer and take their crap to the dump like the rest of us.
Mmm, just I was driving home, I remembered to have a diversion to check the cache. Well only armed with the cellphone under dense cover, I do think the others are right. Somebody has plonked a load of branches and garden debris right on to it as far as I can see. Might go back and double verify with the real GPS to see.
May dig and refind / relocate or just move the stuff.
Cheers.

Nice area here. But I think the cache is under a big pile of cut branches and other debris as it's not anywhere else.
Had a chat to local checking his mail so have introduced another to Geocaching. Who knows - there could be another of us starting? Checked a lot of what the clue suggested, but with no luck. There was a pile of nature's debris piled up so maybe the cache was (temporarily) covered, but maybe I was just blind today. Next time...
quick find, was worried for parking but that was at the other end of the street, TFTC
We were pleased to see this cache rehidden after going AWOL, we hate to get a DNF! Finally we can log this as a find Got attacked by a few mossies as we signed the log!

Well I had time to go and look atthis cache after the holidays. I agree, it wasn't where it should be. Having resigned to the fact that it was gone, I started looking for a new place within the GZ. While I was looking for crannies etc, I saw the cache lying on the ground just like a piece of rubbish!! It was all complete!! .
I have relocated it to a new home in the same general area but have updated the coordinates. Hopefully they are OK as I used my phone as that's all I had with me at the time.
Happy caching.. Hint will be different as well.
Cheers.

I have found this cache a while ago and went back to visit it. It isn't there anymore neither is the tree that it was hidden in. Do not go looking for it because it is not there. It's a shame because it was such a good cache and such a good hiding place.
Looked for a while, checked all the likely places given the hint, but couldn't find it. The location is muddy, covered in litter and definitely not the nicest place to visit.
As per our previous log, we think the GZ has been disturbed and the cache gone...? Can it be checked please?
Been here a couple of times this week, fairly sure that we found where it should have been due to googling the hint to find out what the stump type was....no sign of the cache, stump looks like someone has deliberately broken pieces off as there are big chunks all over the floor...
Rubbish everywhere while at GZ and to think we are meant to be clean green!

Did not go straight to it but got there in the end. Shame that it get used as a rubbish dump by the locals even if it is manly green waste.
took a while to find a safe way into the bush as there is no path and alot of left foliage after being dumped, i would recommend long pants and runners as the two kids and I did get bitten. Nice hiding place and some very happy kids when we finished thank you.
Hunted hi and low.....a lot of garden waste has been dumped on site and may have buried the cache.

No worries with this one, luckily I had an inkling to what the hint was refering to, and not many of that species near GZ.

Dropped in on evening walk. Easy find once hint "translated" . Pencil snapped in half but managed to expose a little lead. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Difficult GPS signal under tree cover. Had to use the hint and was a pleasant find. Nice street and good hide. TFTC
Nice cach, easy find. Very built up area but there is a nice access point to GZ out of sight of most the homes. I did not see any trackables in this cache. TFTC.
TFTC - was able to upgrade my botanical knowledge...

A super quick find. When I paused to look at my GPS, it said I had another ten metres to go. Except it was right there beside me. Better lucky than good! Cache was in excellent condition.
Found on BLACK FRIDAY,
Quick find but no geocoin in residence. May pay to mark it as missing.

Out caching with Kiwifeet on a showery winter afternoon. After DNFs on the previous 2 caches we wanted to finish the day with a find. Headed into the bush, and soon spotted a likely hide. Found in the first place we tried. TFTC.

Nice spot but pity about all the garden waste etc, suspect the neighbours are treating it as their personal rubbish dump?

Out latin not being what it should be we checked out a few likely places before the cache was in hand. It was fairly exposed so we covered the cache up better than we found. TFTC
Got It! Our first GC!! Nice evening walk - but really full of mosquitoes! Some "Goodman" stole the pen and left the broken pencil, eh, so will come again and sign in the book. Thanks for nice Cache
Popped into the park on dusk and after wading through the dumped landfill, made a quick find of the well camo'd container. TFTC Shame others don't appreciate these little bush areas as much as some of us do. [B)]
No GC in there I'm afraid.

Out with 4 newbies and a million mozzies. Unfortunately, I could only please the mozzies.
nice little patch, pity people have been using the area as a dumping ground for spoil, lazy sods

Beautiful little gully of bush in suburbia. The storm that felled the tress must have been a good one. Quick and easy find. Thanks.
our #75 Nearly had us stumped! thanks for the history & botany lesson (we should have checked first). Enjoyed it. Pretty sure the trackable is gone. TFTC
It looks like the tree cover is slightly less now, someone wanted to improve their views or something. It made for an interesting hunt until the search was widened then success. TNLN Thanks.
Out with OG Phatazz and Gadget-tron.
Nice little reserve, thanks for bringing us here.

OK now I feel real stupid that Gadget-tron and KiwiLeon managed to find this on the same day I couldn't. Spent a good 30 minutes looking. Will return for sure!
Out with Kiwileon and Gadget-Tron.
The felled trees. Were a shame.
Chin up Dave. Widen up the search a bit and google the clue as the co-ords. bounce around a bit once your in the gully.

Nice cache, took some hunting initially, a tree has fallen down in this area recently although the cache is still accessible. Second cache found today placed by this user, both excellent cache's. TFTC
Nice bit of bush in the middle of the development.
Luckily we came across the cache straight away.

Another quick find on an afternoon of caching on the "other side" of the bridge . Meet a friendly Birman cat that I would love to have taken home. Great camo T4TC.
Lucky to find this in the first object checked. Cooeds very accurate as were mozzies! Left geocoin -Thanks
Found after some close investigation of all the stumps in the vicinty TFTC TNLN
Great location for a cache, I like how you can just instantly step out of suburbia into the bush. T4TC
Was getting dark and getting eaten alive by the mozzies. Will return at a better time and will wear some insect repellent. It'll keep. Cheers
Nice spot, dispite the mozzies. This was our first geo cache , plenty more to come hopefully.

Enjoyed reading the history of the area in the cache write-up. Was walking through the bush reserve trying to be quiet but not easy with all the dry crunchy leaves underfoot. Got challenged by a female neighbour who was wondering what I was up to. Explained geocaching to her and she was clearly relieved as she had been getting quite concerned about the strange people she had observed recently. She was quite interested in the whole concept.
Nice cache - many thanks

A nice after-work cache. Due to the lack of accurate GPS positioning, and my lack of botanical expertise, I had to brute-force this one (i.e. try every single place it could be.
Quick find, my botanical knowledge came in useful again. Access was a little challenging, needed to go right around and approach along the fenceline of the adjacent properties. Logbook is pretty damp, might need a little attention. TNLN - TFTC!
Seemed to have missed logging this a few weeks ago. Had trouble checking the wrong areas until I went out and came in from the better side.

The sats didn't like me today, so this took a while to find. It was actually in the first place I looked, but I missed it on the first pass. Took a while to come back for a second look.

Was on the way to visit friends and called in. Finding a way in and keeping the going out clothes clean was a challenge.
Thanks SWW for the cache. Nice spot but I wondered about the folks BBQing on the deck and the noise of breaking sticks from below.
Cheers TT
