Sorry people, but the stump has collapsed and the cache container is now well and truly gone.
I gave up as the GPS was putting me well amongst the blackberries, which do not like me at all. http://www.geocaching.com/images/icons/icon_smile_sad.gif
DNF, was with adammc and had no luck. GPS said its co-ords were accurate but were leading us to a point well away from the road.... Nice place but can't win them all
Easy find with the help of the hint and some logic. The gPS was way off for some reason.
Saw the gate was unlocked so decided to drive to cache.Bit of a rough track but thats when a 4wd comes in handy.I had everyone walking through the blackberries before I read the hint.Mr LB found it quickly after that.TFTC
Should have read clue first. GPS wouldnt settle and had me wandering through the blackberry bushes unnessarily
Find 12 of 13 on Rabbit Island this afternoon. Time was running short as I headed to the car. I passed this cache and with the tree cover it took a while to zero in it. TFTC
Did a little bit of off road driving to get to this cache, its a narrow drive and dusty...we quickly stopped and leaped out to nab this cache..not too many problems locating it.

Nearly walked right passed this one as GPS was leading us astray. Luckily eagle eyes of one of the juniors spotted it. TFTC.
This was cache number six on our clockwise biking circuit of Rough Island.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Easy find on an afternoon caching with Hazedarus, made even easier because the cache was totally exposed. Covered it after signing log. TFTC.
Why go the easy way if you can do battle with blackberries? Easy find with Holymu. Signed log and added some cover. TFTC
Recommended by fellow geocacher, we are going today to Rough Island. We took our bikes for a ride, together with our doggies Xafier & Xento.
Now it is starting to rain. the drizzle is over.
This cache had us a bit stumped, the hint helped us find it.

Took Bryn's advice and enjoyed a stroll along the track around the waters edge. Tide was out which showed plenty of sand and mud flats. No issues with the cache. TFTC

We did a full round on Rough Island, it's a very nice location for a short 2 hour walk.

Enjoyed the MTB ride down most of the forest tracks on Rough Island. This the last of 7 caches found this afternoon as I explored the island. Thanks for the caches.
Reception not so good, combined with the possibility that the co-ords might be a bit stray, had me looking at a nasty patch of blackberry. Common sense prevailed and the cache was found in a more friendly spot.

Co-ords a bit off, make sure you rely on the cache details. Took the TB, thanks!!
Not many wading birds about today. Just a couple of white faced herons. A nice walk to the ach.

On my trip around the world I first visited the States, travelled from there to Australia and continued my trip in New Zealand.
Terra Fox joined me and we made a four-week-tour in NZ driving from north to the south and back again.
Geocaching can take you to spots you would never visit and so I used my trip to find some caches in every state and country.
Thank you for this cache and greetings from Germany

G.p.s recepton was a little patchy at times but after about 5 minutes of searching found it Thanks.
a great area for an explore. Really enjoyed it thanks for bringing us here. got horse muggled!
It was a fantastic day to take a walk down this track beside the estuary. A nice, easy cache.
good cache, had to wait ages for a gap in the canine and owners traffic for a quick grab.
Got close and then spotted it by random chance. Great little walk around the island.
Found with hubby Stretch0 - said road way has a fairly newish looking gate across both ends and whilst it was only latched not locked decided that we would walk the road (much nicer then blackberry prickles) soon found took nothing left skull and butterfly thanks for the cache
Being in the area we decided to grab this cache 1st attempt we were thwarted by Blackberry bushes, (being in my sturdy footware.......... Jandals). So we re-looked at this area and approached from a different angle with better results.
Catching up with logs for caches I found with Sidewaze before I got my own account. TFTC
Drive today from Motueka to Picton and getting a few caches on the way. Today is sunny and warm which is a great change after the deluge yesterday that kept us housebound. Well this was a nice cache and we had a lovely time on Rabbit Island dodging the mud and potholes. T On the run geo coin and L The Dental Dozen TB.
Another one for the Beanso boys ... Master Beanso(4yrs) had this one in hand while the girls were still checking their make-up !!! TFTC
Easy find after a long journey from Meg's Hide-A-Way and the GPS was leading as down the wrong road and by the time we realised we thought ok we will just take the shortcut...THROUGH THE FOREST! We got about 100m of the way and finally realised that it was ALL BLACKBERRY. Thinking that it coudn't go on forever we continued on, past the possums and very spiky bushes. We finally reached GZ and we figured out that it took about 5 times longer than the normal trip should have been. Thanks for the cache and very adventurous day trip. TNLNSL.
Squeals of delight alereted us to our friends young daughter finding the cache! ssshhh! TFTC

Thanks

Found the brambles first but then a quick look round revealed the spot. More muggles, dogs and off-roaders than I had expected. Left golf ball, TFTC, Biggles
GPS ended up pointing a bit further into the trees than I needed be. After checking the hint I returned to a far more likely and promising location. Cheers Gav [3356]

GPS took us right through a bunch of brambles before we resorted to the clue... And realised we had walked straight past it before Well done, good hide. TFTC
Straightforward find, gps co-ordinates spot on, as always. Left toy car and took monster. Thanks.
Had managed to transpose two numbers of "Man of a thousand voices" and found myself 32m from this cache! Sorted out the problem and grabbed this one too. Thanks.
Made this one a drive by simply because I could. Very pleasant little spot and no-one else about at all.

Enjoyed a rather longer walk than we anticipated as we took the wrong road to start with! However we got there in the end and did enjoy the walk!

GPS spot on so quick find. Drove a bit and walked a bit - passed fishermen who just caught a fish as we returned. Lovely spot with the sun out. TNLN
Wonder if there is a rabbit called Bryn as you seem to have chosen Rabbit Island for your caches. Just visited Meg's cache and she maybe your sister?
Lovely day out for walks today. Retrieved a beautiful Symbology GC and left the Lost My Memory TB. Thanks for this cache and we may find more of your caches on this Island in the future.
