The revamp of the bridge is now well under way and unfortunately they have now totally decimated WP's 2, 3 and worst off all - GZ itself!
Will have to wait until the 'refurbishments' are complete before looking at giving this one an overhaul

WPs 1&2 fell pretty easily and the hints and co-ords were pretty spot on. Thinking we knew what we'd be looking for but we dnf wp3. Considered left, right and down (which has recently been a construction area) to no avail. Reading older clues tonight we see our experience is not unique. We'll watch and maybe be back.
Waited a long time to complete this one. Nice and quiet early on a Sunday morn. Real imaginative camo for final, I wonder how many muggles have looked at it and walked on? TFTC
Had to laugh at your log Cosclan - I too often use my GPS as a phone and wander around talking into it when I'm trying not to look obvious!
We had great fun doing this multi.
Very busy Sunday afternoon so had to use some tried and true muggle proof methods ie
Tying shoelaces of shoes that had no laces and my favorite, talking to in a foreign language to an invisible person on the other end of my gps lol
Nice camo at the end too

Came with the kids mid-afternoon, and used them as my cover - standing with the older one to look down on the river watching a guy row past, and stopping to re-tuck the blanket round the younger one in his stroller. Should have been enough to make me not look too obvious! However, the trouble with going at kids' pace was that by the time we got to GZ, it was 4pm and traffic definitely building up. Stopped the stroller at the exact spot I reckoned GZ to be and had a fairly good idea where to find the cache but didn't think I could retrieve it without drawing unwanted attention, so decided to leave it for now and come back another day. As I walked away pondering, I realised that I had almost certainly been looking directly at the cache - if so then the camo is great! Loved WP2 too - nicely done : )
As someone once said... I'll Be Back
As someone once said... I'll Be Back
We enjoyed this urban multi - especially liked the novelty of wp2 and the final. Not too much traffic around this early on a sunday.
A great cache to celebrate our 200th multi .
Thanks for the fun.

I really enjoyed this multi - I'm so glad I took the effort & didn't just stick to traditionals! Loved WP2, WP3 caused some confusion but the clue helped in the end & GZ was very nicely done & quite unexpected. I was wondering what the GT was referring too, but now that I can see the photo on the cache page I have a better idea! You'd have to be crazy... definitely not an activity that I'd partake in!! TFTC - left a pathtag.
Have been wanting to do this one for ages, finally got a round tuit! Much quicker and easier than expected.
Yes, GZ is still definitely there....Paua noticed it and stood looking at it while Punga did a couple of waypoints! What a laugh, to have him return to the exact spot and retrieve the cache from under her nose. Nice idea. Did a quick GT from GZ (yeah right!) then off to find some dinner. TFTC.

Bugger. I presume you looked today (on the 28th)? Sorry WW, but the final is still there. I popped down this afternoon for a maintenance check and took the logbook away for an hour to dry out in the sun. I thought surely no one will drop by right then...sorry, bad timing I'm afraid!
Cache is still there, only logbook is now dry and in a new bag.

found on our 2nd attempt, Armed with a new GPS each WP was easy, the final is quite a unique camo. Thanks
Hi Mr Guanogerbil
I have finally found the time to do this with my daughter, unfortunately the GZ is missing.
Sorry to bring you the bad news.

Very nice effort to put this one together. Thought WP2 was very crafty. Took me quite a while to spot final - where could a cache be around there!! SL TFTC
We had an enjoyable evening doing this geocache. We got a bit side tracked exploring the new walkway on the eastern side of the river....... but finally made our way to GZ. I really liked the originality of the cache container - definately not what we were expecting. TFTC
Well that was fun, didn't have to travel as far as I thought, but very informative.
Have seen the GZ before!!, but not looking you are not seeing.
I now have some good hints for a cache.
Russell.
Will get my daughter Emelia to do this one soon.

Note to self, 1st attempt utter utter failure.
Come back tomorrow, and try again, thinking differently.

First Geocache we did with friends about 6 months ago so had to come back and log it ourselves now that we have our own GPS
#77 Really well done, found it to be very original and had heaps of fun finding all the waypoints. I initially ignored the final cache as I didn't believe that was it. Amazingly well done. Dropped TB off. TFTC
Checked on all points this morning - all are still in place. Noticed the logbook is getting a little damp so will get this replaced shortly.
YAY! Completed this one today after doing the wherigo. Turns out we were looking for the right thing at WP3 in the slightly wrong place! Getting frustrated today with doublechecking where we'd looked and then had that "what about there" moment and voila! Final found easily - loved it! A very enjoyable cache, thanks!
Have been looking forward to this one and we certainly enjoyed the half we did! Found WPs 1 and 2 no probs, had a pretty good idea what we would likely be looking for for WP3 but nothing. I note it hasn't been found since November - is this still here? I'll put on the watchlist as we're looking forward to completing!!
Have had this in the car for ages. Had time at the end of today to do the mission(rush hour unfortunately so lots of waiting around so same vehicles didnt see the happenings. Rowing practice on the river to watch anyway!. Very clever multi. Looked at the final and discounted intially as couldnt budge.
Freed on second attempt after reconfirming the location. Thanks.
Freed on second attempt after reconfirming the location. Thanks.
nice easy muilt to work out-wp3 had us looking for a while but was there after a good feel lol-the end gz was good -had to shove muzy mans hand in there[me to young to lose mind ]-not used to carrying umbrellas on cache hunting trips and those cars don't slow down for two te-aroha boys playing on the bridge
On the hunt with Jumboz, Crusty Tron day, had great plans for bush bash-in 2 day as we both crossed over with days off but decided to keep dry and chase our brollies inside out instead! 3rd stage had us nearly out of the game as there was a random magnet close to correct 3rd way point lurking handy, lucky Jumboz kept on hunting!, GZ designed 4 Ladies hands!, skinned my knuckles gud trying to retrieve, well done TFTC Cheers Muzy Man!
This cache proved surprisingly easy to complete, especially now we have a mapping GPS and no longer need to key in WP co-ordinates.
+ a marble, - nothing
+ a marble, - nothing
TFTC! Very clever camo, and well placed hides. This was our first ever attempt at a multi, and I think I'd probably rate it as one of my favs so far. Took "Key to Rotoroa" travel bug...and will move it on as soon as we have retrieved the necessary find
WP1 no problem.WP2 very clever.WP3 nice. Final,priceless.
What can we say,we take our hat off to you for this one.
What a fun multi, kids enjoyed sooo much,on top of their best cache list.Loved the walk for the first time, and enjoyed the muggle dodging and the history lesson. Awesome.TFTC

Can't believe it took 5 visits to finish this one! Found WP1&2 easily. What a great idea for WP2. Then could not find WP3. Asked a friend for a hint and ended up with a complete red herring. Two visits and still could not locate it. Decided to start again from the other end and it was an easy find. Muggles prevented a find of the final until today. The camo on the final is superb. Thank you very much for what is really a very good multicache.
Did the w/p's yesterday but had to come back early this morning with my special tool plus there were less muggles about. Cool camo.

Wow, what a cool cache and an awesome final hide. Did the wp's late afternoon in the evening traffic rush, took a while (all these muggles in cars standing still wondering why you are standing there.
Came back after diner (in the dark) Looked around at GZ and then spotted the cache (really great!!)
A must do if you come to Hamilton.
Thanks for a great cache.

I really liked this cache, well set and a great final. Well done. TNLN TFTC
Had fun with this one. Stage1 had me wandering for a while, 2nd two were easier finds but then the final was tough. I passed the spot several times and considering it for only a split second but talked myself out of it some odd reason.
Got it in the end.
Fantastic cache, really enjoyed it. Many thanks.

Final was a toughie. The second w/p I had seen and looked at on another separate trip but still did not see it for what it was.

We had lots of fun finding this.
WP1 we found a little tricky as we came by bike and started on the river side. Other waypoints found quickly after that.
Was nice to learn more about this bridge.

Finally had the opportunity today to stroll this monster. A lot of problems at WP1, due mainly to the Butterfly stepping on one end of a stick and the other multi pronged end flicking up and damaging her knee! The meant the hide she was heading towards got put on the back burner, and it was some time before she returned to check it out again. Bingo.
WP2 & 3 quickly spotted - loved WP2.
Then onto the final. No projection required, psychrn!
Final caused me to stop and observe for some time. The Nut had already discounted one item, but I asked him to check - hee hee, his hands were too big! Cache then quickly in hand - hope this hide is not used for it's main purpose often. Some good well aged camo used.
Well done. Thanks for all the fun today, in a muggle filled spot.

Finally, 2 months ago couldn't find wp 1 in the dark so started in the daylight today and went back for the Oh-So-Clever final at 11.15pm. Definately in top 10.TFTC .
Really enjoyed this cache. Very clever hiding spots. All the clues make perfect sense...after you have found them! lol

Our cache of the day. Enjoyed visiting the humpback monster, but it didn’t want to give up its prize too quickly. Eventually found it after a second look, having discarded it initially. COOL URBAN CAMO – A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED CACHE. Many thanks for the challenge, we Liked![^]

I looked there on the way past it too.........
Well constructed multicache Mr Gerbil!!
Find number 159, our 15th of 31 for the caching marathon day. Did not get home till 1 in the morning......
Took the micro coin, left you not a bean, sorry.

Very nice stroll out today.
I donned a High Viz Jacket to make me less obvious.
Think it worked.
Had to ring owner for help with final however-Coloroado doesnt seem to be able to project waypoint in metres. !!
Very cleaver hide indeed.

Started this one early yesterday morning, but even by the time 7:00 am came around the amount of traffic was unbelievable.
Went back this morning and sucess!

Our morning for monsters having just had a close encounter with a Taniwha. TFTC
Krypton2 and I ducked over here at lunchtime to work through this nicely crafted multi. Had a little trouble retrieving WP1 but apart from that all went well.
Did a double take at the final. Surely not - but it was! Most impressive.
By the way, I am keen to offer my services as cameraman should anyone want to attempt the GT from GZ

By the cache log we followed in the footsteps of krypton2 & zorgon. Found this in the middle of the day using stealth between traffic. lostpukeko #5 found the final - cool camo - very imaginative.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Teamed up with the Mighty Zorgon for a lunch time walk.
GuanoGerbil you have put a lot of thought into this cache.

Had a few problems with the first waypoint after some of the neighbors got 'the hump'. Nessie is now back in action after a slight adjustment.
Yahoo found it. Walked to the bridge and wondered where from here. Went up the street to the 1st waypoint and was met by the landowner who directed me to the 1st waypoint. After a brief talk he told me who the previous hunter was and there goes my FTF.
Loved the following waypoints and clues and the final is supreme.
Nil in or out.
It was great to meet the cache owner finally and yes even on flat ground you are a fast walker

Wow what a cool cache. We enjoy the caches with a history lesson, and especially enjoyed this one as it is close to home. The final location (the cache) is very well thought out and took us a while to find. Thanks for a great cache.

Sorry guys, I'm going to have to pull the plug on this one temporarily. Had OK'd the first waypoint location with the person concerned, but when reality arrived they changed their mind! Sorry Twigster and Boges for any problems involved. I'll have this cache up and running again with a different start shortly.
Dropping off our very first TB (our should I say Travel Slug) to begin his first big adventure beyond the back garden.
