### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there fozzee63,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Cache found but maintenance required. Message sent to CO. Container lid smashed and contents saturated making the log impossible to sign, so photo sent to CO as proof of find. Thank you for the cache still
On our way back to Echuca. Stopped and found this one but couldn’t log it as it’s all broken. Maintenance required
#12934 - 10:23:00 AM; Day 3 of the Wang Mega tour with Sol de lune. We didn't quite get to Echuca last night, but we did enjoy comfortable accommodation and a great meal at the Falcon Hotel on the highway right next door to the Downunder Dunny. After collecting that cache, we set off for Echuca and a spot of caching in and around the town, avenging a couple of GCA DNFs from our previous visit. Time to hit the highway again as we headed west for our next overnight destination, Mildura. Collected more caches along the way including this one. No problems getting our names into the log, before continuing on our mission. TFTC fozzee63
After a couple of great days in and around Wang at the Mega, followed by a drive to Echuca, LuckyL10n and I were now on the road from Echuca to Mildura. The plan today was to stop for a few selected caches...those that looked good, those with a few favourtie points..as well all the regular and large caches we could find.
Left Echuca around 9.30am, arriving in Mildura around 6.00pm. All caches we attempted were found, apart from the one that was completely burnt out, so all up a good road trip. Now home
and it's time to log.
Thanks to all owners the along the way, and apologies for the generic log.

LittleBoss2 and I had just enjoyed a couple of wet days around Cohuna, and were keen to continue our caching run on the way home today. This was one of many caches we completed that made a 90 Min trip into a 5hr trip. But that's caching for you. Our sincere thanks to all the CO's for the laughs while looking we enjoyed today.
This container was completely broken and will need replacing

On our way home from a couple of days geocaching around Cohuna. Thanks for placing the geocache
Cache container is broken open & everything inside is mush after the rain. I couldn’t sign log, so am sending a photo to CO
Found on our way to Sealake checking out the silo art trail
Container has no lid. Contents all wet. We put a piece of wood on top to protect it a bit

Found this one, but it needs maintenance, there is no lid and everything was scattered everywhere
Hole?! The whole lid is practically gone so it was full to the brim with water! Replaced the container upside down so at least it has protection from the rain
I found this today while heading for Mildura. Weather is hot and I am tired, so this is a good little break from driving. Tftc.
Went for a drive to Gunbower today and this is a cache I found on the way. a quick find away from the busy highway. TFTC,
Found with Loci612 and Zqx on the way home from the mega in Victoria. Thanks for the cache and the adventure. Signed the cache either DSD or Darksidedan depending on the size of the cache.
**This Cache:**
A quick stop here for a park and grab, just to stretch the legs once again. The cache has a hole in it and needs attention. Thanks for placing
**Today:**
Day 4 of the St. Arnaud mega with DSD and ZQX!
It was time to head all the way home today, via a completely different route, in parts of Australia that none of us have ever visited before! All in the name of grabbing some counties! We went through Northern Victoria up to Echuca, and then over the NSW border to Moama, through Deniliquin, Finley, Jerilderie, Narranderra and finally Coolamon and Wagga Wagga before heading home to Canberra! A very productive day collecting counties, with a few high D/T caches mixed in, and even a bonus virtual!
It was a long day with many km's and about 15 hours total on the road, it was good to get home and crash for the night!
Thanks to all the CO's for making it possible

Found with DarkSideDan (the path tag man) and Loci612.
Twelve or so kites (of the ornithological kind) were handing around nearby. I sure hope they don't like the taste of geocachers!
This road trip is a fun adventure. TFTC!

We are on our way home from the Wangaratta Jazz and Blues Festival, travelling via the Silo Art Tour in the North-West. Flies were appalling -- guess who forgot the Aeroguard! Left a geonickel. SL, TFTC!

#14685. Day 1 of a short break for Robmc and me so we are spending a few nights at Lake Boga Caravan Park. Most of the day was spent travelling and collecting 13 caches along the way.
Rob had already done this one years ago but we stopped so I could try to find it. Container in good condition and my name added to the log. Now time to get all the prickly bits out of the two geodogs and continue on our way.
Thanks fozzee63

School holidays yet again and we thought we'd stay the night in Echuca. It took us about 6 hours to get there from Maryborough and about 13 to get home.
A fun trip with only minimal rain, a handful of DNF's, some previous DNF's that are now smilies and 7 cache types found over the 2 days.

Today was day 1 of a 2 day road trip with Team Clarmensma (GemmaSistema & becca85 and our 4 geokids - neisha07, AdamSistema, boo09 & LukeSistema). The Sistema crew left Ballarat picking up the 3 girls in Maryborough and we cached our way via Jarklin, Pyramid Hill, Leitchville, Gunbower, Torrumbarry and Moama before finally arriving and staying the night in Echuca. We had plenty of finds, a few DNFs and heaps of laughter and fun as we cached along back roads, through tiny towns, around amazing lagoons and across rivers with stunning scenery wherever we went. Thanks so much for putting this cache out for us to find and enjoy. We really appreciate it.

I'm not logging a DNF because I didn't really look, but one thing seemed obvious when looking at the vegetation, this is NOT a one star difficulty. I liked the old definition of one star difficulty, which went something like this, "In full view or obvious." Nope, when looking at all the vegetation at GZ (photograph taken), it wasn't in full view or obvious. I didn't have the time to spend, so moved on.
Found by Josh after a lengthy search by Craig, Michelle and Marli while Nat and Josh stayed in the car. Nice hide. TFTC.
tried to find it, but after a while we weren't really keen anymore to search through the massive bush area surrounded by flies and thistels.
but nice area for a sunset if you're running out of time to go to mt hope.

Stopped and grabbed this one on a trip to Echuca. All in good shape. Shared Geocaching with some friends who will be hooked. TFTC
Suscoe had a big day out to the north west of Echuca today.
Clear skies, beaut weather, a warm sun and caching, what could be better!!!
We enjoyed wandering the roads and little towns as we went.
Thanks to fozzee63 for this hide.
The cattle yards are no more, just a pile of timber and iron.

Wow an old one that was a bonus. Grabbing the odd cache on the way home from Swan Hill to Alexandra this one came up and as it was sunset it was a good sign we should stop. It wasn't till I got out of the car that I saw the GC code and got excited. I like finding caches from back when I was caching before my slump.
How many months to the Alexandra Mega[?]
No idea, so I figured that i had better attend the event in Swan Hill to find out
Really though Cybergran V would have thottled me [xx(] if I hadn't have brought her up for this event so I had no choice but to attend
A pretty quiet weekend numbers wise however one that was filled with the usual laughter, craziness and fellowship of a caching event
I was extremely glad to be caching in numbers this weekend though [^], having spent many hours looking for caches in this area before!
Sadly, too often I heard the lament that 'this isn't fun! ' as a result of coords being off, no hint and the dreaded 'micro in the bush' style hides and the worst part is that instead of geocachers looking forward to coming back to Swan Hill, many will now avoid it
Not the best geocaching reputation for a town to have, especially considering the amount of money and traffic that a good geocache hide can bring to towns like this.
4 DNFs was much better than I had expected although that was only due to the numbers of geocachers present and the numerous PAF calls shared by many many teams [^]
37 finds for 2 days was pretty cool considering!
Loved the history lesson here and while other people may not understand the reason for the hide, I found it very interesting! [^]
As I stretched out for the cache retrieval a noise in the shrubbery about 30cm to my left had me thankful that it's too cold and wet for snakes It was a rabbit bolting hell for leather for the rubbish pile and safety

A quick find in a day of caching between Echuca and Swan Hill. Almost a driveby which is just what you want on a travel day. The flies are certainly friendly and several tried to board the vehicle as we were leaving but we managed to get rid of them, sticky! TFTC
Day 5 of our Road Trip.
Fifth of eight for today.

#1685 Only about an hour too early to witness the trained sunset, however we still had a few km's to travel to get home today. Whilst Mrs BGF made the find, Mr BGF maneuvered the geojeep and geocamper to point in the right direction to continue our journey homeward, he was happy about that as there was lots of long grass to gz Tftc fozzee63. For the record Mrs BGF returned unharmed.
Didn't need the GPS to find GZ here!
At 11.25am we had to decide whether to wait and watch the sunset or cache. Caching won! Thanks, an easy smiley.

I wish I had have had another container to replace this one. I had a small ziplock bag for the log but the larger one I had with me was not large enough to put this crumbling cache in. Sorry my visit was not much help fozzee63. Maybe the next cacher could put it all in another container as a temporary protection for the crumbling cache and its contents.
No snakes, no rain, and no cattle ramp.
You couldn't see where the snakes had been - if any.
You could see where the rain had been because the lid of the cache is cracked and disintegrating and there was water inside the box. I replaced the bag that held the log book (which was surprisingly dry) but everything else in the cache was sodden. The entire container needs to be replaced as it has become brittle. I put it back upside down to protect it.
You couldn't see the cattle ramp either because it has been removed, but you can still see the remains of it in the paddock opposite the cache.

With recent "modifications" to the area, I think the first half of the clue may be as obsolete as some of the rustic charm that would have encouraged the CO to bring us here.
No clue needed though as the coordinates were spot on.
Sorry I didnt have the bits today to repair the damaged cache, but at least the log is dry.
