Found @1748 #1969
On another epic cache run today with caching buddy ahomburg. We had run this route before which is Yarra Glen then west towards South Morang and everywhere else in between. A good numbers today with 30 found in total and a few DNFs. An awesome day with a cool start and the forecast rain didn't eventuate so it was a rather nice and sunny at times.[^]
The final cache found today and a nice classic find too. Amazing quality sport grounds in the general area. At this time there was no a muggle to be seen anyway so this made the approach and find alot easier. TFTC homerjay73. Found quite a few of yours today. Thanks for bringing me here.

Caching with the kids over the school holidays was fun, but it's really nice to get out on my own while they're at school.
Last time I cached near here, it was midday on a Saturday, and I'm not quite that much of a masochist. Today, it was easy to avoid being seen by the ladies playing tennis over yonder.

Circled cache continuously creating our own crop circle (or bush circle as the case maybe). We made our discovery and were able to assist Erskine from his falls. TB will find a new home.

Find # 1730
I headed out this afternoon and decided to drive towards the greensborough as I had not really cached in this area and wanted to explore the area. It was a reasonable afternoon for a winters day and the sun even popped its head out every now and then, I really could not ask for much more.
The sun was now beginning to go down. I arrived in this very busy sports precinct and parked where I found space and walked towards GZ. Upon arriving, there was only one place it could be and there it was. I loved the container.
Thanks to homerjay73 for the cache. Took nothing, left travel bug.

A quick find this afternoon. Not a muggle in sight.

Found this one today with Irontoad. We were a bit worried that the muggles playing team sports would inhibit our cache find but this was not the case. So after walking round in circles to get to GZ the cache was easily found. Took some food out of this cache and left nothing but signed log.
Thanks for the cache homerjay73

I havent been to this place for many years. Its been developed a lot since then. Found the cache without any difficulties
I drove all the way around the new car park and found myself about 50 meters from GZ. I quick walk in and the GPS overshot. I turned back around and found the cache in the first place I looked. TFTC
Out and about on my own today whislt on my non working day. Clearing out some of the caches in the north. Great day for the race, nice easy park nearby and with a short walk and a quick find. Suprised that it has lasted this long.
Thanks for the cache.

Got this one off the list of things to do today. There's some nice new hokey fields down here that I hadn't realised had been built. A few muggles out there kicking round a soccer ball but apart from that it was all quiet. Though I did get startled by a rabbit and a huntsman. TFTC!
Quick find once we managed to cross the busy road between our car and the cache.

A very obvious position of the cache meant a fast find by GeoBel. Nice big cache, left a rubber lizard. TFTC.
Nipped out from work at lunchtime. Nice easy find after I stopped walking around in circles.
Found this one quite quickly - yay it was our first hunt too, our boys enjoyed the experience
Found this out with the kids one day. Sad to see so much rubbish dumped so near by, and I found it amazing that there was so many personal details left from the persons who dumped it, phone numbers, kids names, addresses.
anyway. Good hiding spot.

Great easy find nice spot. Our 1st Geocache for 2012! Happy New Year everyone!
This was one of the caches targetted by our group (Ian and Penny, Phetlern and oursleves) during a very entertaining day of caching. With thanks to homerjay73 for placing the cache.
9th find of the day, and 3095th total find at 2:06:00 PM.
Found on a caching foray into an area that none of us have been to before.
A nice quick find.

Out caching with teams Ian & Penny and Liz & Bruce. We suspect that recent parking developments near this cache have made the access to this cache a lot easier - in fact nearly a drive-by! This community certainly has some excellent sporting facilities.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt homerjay73.

Found this one on a caching run out to Woodlands Power trail to join C@H and KellyHaunts for lunch and moral support on their smashing endeavour.. Thanks homerjay73 for the hide, I parked closeby, and luckily was just out of view when squatting down as there were some muggle workers closeby re-building a fence. Thanks for the cache..
This was our first find out of QLD. We are here for a week for Janines' brothers' wedding … but thats not until Saturday, so for now, bring on the caches
No one around today made for an easy hunt, and the treasure was found quickly. It was almost like a FTF with all the new gear . Thanks homerjay73

A very quick find for Suscoe this morning just after 9:00 am.
Like the previous finder the log is soaked.
We popped another piece of paper in with our signing on it.
Needs some urgent TLC.

#628 Found in this great sporting complex park. Contents were very wet - log too wet to write on. Thanks homerjay73 for the hunt.
Found this one just on dark with hockey players all around. Log book very wet, plastic bag needs changing (ours were too big for this one)
TNLNSLTFTC MMMBLAH HAA!!!
TNLNSLTFTC MMMBLAH HAA!!!
It must have been more than 15 years since I have been down to the hockey courts and my has it changed. I drive past this several times a day and still thought the roads were unpaved.
A quick easy find before work, no Muggles around on a Sunday morning it seems. TNLNSL.

Ended up parking at the top and walking to GZ, not realising that there is parking right near it. Thought that I would have a quick look at the hint, only to find that it well you exactly where it was (which was a pity). Cache a lot smaller than I expected, TNLN. It is a very sporting area with so many sports accounted for in such a small area. Had to laugh at the signs about parking at your own risk when sports are being played due to balls potentially going everywhere. TFTC.
No muggles about this evening for our 30th find. Nice easy one, TFTC.
22/09/2011 - Log originally logged with team Swampgum. Duplicated due to team split.

Nice hide. There was a few muggles at hockey practise but could not see us as we went further into the bush. TFTC TNLN
Nice easy find. It's a lovely area, but a shame about the filthy humans who have been dumping rubbish in this pocket of bushland. Nonetheless; Happy Australia Day - TFTC!
A nice quick one, which is a change for me! Took nothing, left Czech coin. Tftc.
Great hide, an echidna was burrowing at the base of the stump so it was tricky to get to.

Good spot, there was a nice surprise at the base with an echidna borrowing!! Beautiful spot
We had the camper in tow and couldnt quite park as close to GZ as we hoped as they were resealing, so we parked right next to the cricket match that was on and Mrs H watched whilst GeoBub was snoozing & Big Ez & GeoKd went for the hunt.
A nice facility here with plenty to do. Thanks for showing us the area.
TNLN SL. Cheers.

Another one of those spots I drive past at least once a week and never think too much about exploring. I'm glad I did - I knew the sports stuff was there (hence my complete lack of interest haha) but had no idea of the wild little area of bushland.
The chocolate lilies are everywhere at the moment being gorgeous. Also spotted some dear little spiders of unknown variety, and more than a few skinks.
I spent a good 20 minutes hunting in completely the wrong area having misread the GPS (derp) but once I was in the right spot it was a decently quick find.
On the way out I got to chat to a very friendly border collie and his owner and also caught a bit of the local cricket match.
Very pleasant hunting today, thanks for putting a cache here. TNLN Signed "log" (could use replacement notebook)

A few muggles playing tennis about, but no hockey player so the cache was easily found. TFTH...SL...Took TB
04/10/2010 03:00 Found: #57 We stopped nearby and my 2 sons and I went bush. As we approached GZ and me still trying to get a good sat lock, Eagle Eye Geoson was tossing me the log book! I hadn't even pointed out the likely areas to look. Log book full, squeezed my details on the back. TNLN SL
Been playing hockey here for years and had no clue just how close a Geocache was.
