thanks guys - I think [?]
well some 5 months after collecting all the pieces, and a drive past without an attempt, today we finally did it ...
mmm ... fun [?] was actually a bit harder than I thought, or maybe I am just getting too old for extreme caching.
OK - its not that bad - but having a pair of good knees would probably have helped.
took a little while in some places to find a means of getting up and over some small clambers, not being that limber anymore provided a few challenges.
I must admit that I was most impressed with my partner's determination, not one for heights at the best / any time, she powered past me in a couple of spots showing me the way up [:o)]
Found cache no worries - actually stumbled on it whilst sitting down to take a break. Took in the vista, took a couple of photos, signed log and swapped out the bugs, whilst taking the FTF. Also left a carabiner - damn, could have done with a rope to get up here too
Much to my relief, the decent was much easier and was managed without either of us taking a spill in the scree.
Thanks guys ... well I'll be polite and thank you in the public logs, might post something different in the caches other pages.
cheers
its been nearly a year since the cache was placed - well it finally has at least one 'find' now.

all that remains is the final stage ... and a bit mnore deciphering of the clue
... now when am I going to get a chance to knock this one off.
not for awhile yet I am afraid.

a few more waypoints and all the clues gathered ...
two attempts at wp5, with no worries at the final waypoint.
but now stuck trying to make some sense of all the clues [?]
damn hint don't help too much either
... so the journey still continues

... a couple more waypoints found (thanks daBuzzard) and the associated clues gathered, till some groundsmen thwarted my pursuits ...

With a quiet weekend in town ... thought I would have another crack at this one.
Went past first waypoint yesterday - full of muggles - so went back in later on in the evening and grabbed the clue and waypoints for the next stage.
Today attempted to get a few more waypoints out of the way, but only managed to grab another one , with our searching efforts at WP3 giving nothing up [?]
Didn't turn the whole place over, but had a scratch around a few possible positions.
Remember a log on another local cache mentioning something about a clue for this one in the container ... so ventured back there to see if we could pick up the trail from there ... but alas - there was no clue in the container anymore
will just have to keep trying ...

... with all my commitments out of the way, thought it was about time to do some caching
.was going to make a start on this one (planning to head west later in the day), but after turning up Sunday mid morning I quickly shelved any ideas I had. The place was crawling with kids and their families, so I opted to not even start.
Will have to sneak down at a time more condusive for scratching around without drawing attention to myself.

I rode past Wolfgang Peak on my round trip, and noticed the trig point on top. Thought it would be a good place for a cache.
Not sure if a climb to the summit is needed to complete this cache, but if it is, then a photo of the trig point will get you a find on Waymarking.com.
Cheers
