Alice trip 2017. Day 17. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I drove the last dash into Darwin. We went out to Litchfield briefly, but still we suffered from the conditions and were happy to upgrade from swags to cabins for four days !

Still seems to be missing.

Found with mudbuzzie. This geo has suffered some serious damage. The pvc pipe is broken and the contents were in a pile of mulch. Still managed to sign the log book as we travel with our power tank pens. We have placed them together somewhere safe to the side and will send pics to the owner. Unfortunately there was no sign of the tb TFTC

Geo down! Geo down! Will send message where we placed the remains. The whole geo needs replacing. We are not equipped for the task at this time.

Easy find thank you

Just starting to rain after lunch nearby. A quick search and cache discovered. A good sized cache so I dropped off a trackable I found in Victoria. Log signed and all back safe again.

Found as we made a quick stop before visiting the butterfly house nearby. A great memorial stone. Those damn ants got me again as I searched for the cache. Still I was well rewarded with a find and a TB but not one that was listed in there. TFTC

We visited Darwin on this year's Anniversary trip, as well Mark got to visit with his kids.
We took off on our Anniversary Day to show Mark's new found rellies about this silly game we play
It's a bit of a blur now, but we did have a good time and finding a few geocaches after a bit of a hiatus is always a bonus. Thanks for the detour on this day.

Interesting messages from the past. However fire ants were protecting the cache and, after a few bites, a method of retrieval was devised to access the log at 15:45. TFTC

A quick easy find while staying at the butterfly farm during a family trip to The Top End. Loving this place!
Couldn't stay long as I had to go see a man about the wallaby, and when I did, I got a bunch of angry ants crawling up my things and legs! Don't try that folks!

Yuck, yuck and Yuck... NOT a favourite for me... I HATE ants and here they were bigger than anything I have seen and with green BUMS. YUCK!

Rant over... the cache was interesting, and the location itself was OK, except for those pesky 6 legged things.

This was another find in Northern Territory while crossing Northern Territory and Western Australia from Darwin to Perth on Gibb River Road through the Kimberlys. During this 8500km journey we've met many nice and friendly people [^], visited countless marvelous places, saw lots of interesting local wildlife (and plants), took some 2500 pictures home and logged some 300 Caches .

Cacheator Mom brought here some ants back with her .

Today was our day to visit Litchfield National Park. We enjoyed the park, and the day. We swam in a couple of the swimming holes and saw wallabies on our way out of the park.

There were no TBs present.

On our way from Perth to Darwin we saw many great things and places - many of them thanks to geocaching! We thank the owners for sharing their favorite spots with us by hiding their caches!

This was a quick find with Katzenfreund8 on our way to Litchtfield Nationalpark. Tftc!

Had a quick look but too impatient with the green ants!

#1099 - 16:30; After a day of meetings in Batchelor, it was out of the business attire and on to some caching in the local area and on the road back to the accommodation in Darwin. Seems WWII is still a big thing in these parts, so this cache fit the theme! Made my way to GZ with a work colleague, who provided encouragement and assistance, where the cache was soon in hand and log duly signed. Pity the trackables which are supposed to be here haven't been logged out yet. Soon perhaps? TFTC gibbo003

Rather easy find, nice size cache

Our first cache in Australia, found in this weird city of Batchelor.
There is nothing to do here excepting eating burgers and chips, drinking beer, and geocaching.

In: 1 GC.

Hot day but plenty of shade around

Quick log after a nice day in litchfield nationalpark. Travelbug in.

I wasn't actually sure what I was looking for with this one as it came up on the GPS as a weypoint so I had no clues about it..... So I was nicely surprised to find such a good sized cache safely tucked away. TFTC

We went for a drive through Litchfield National Park, and did some caches while we were there.
As we were running short of time, we left 4 behind, but I'm sure we'll be back another time to get them.
With a bit of scratching around, we eventually came up with the cache.
A nice surprise, a good size regular cache.
