Home to the largest snake I have ever encountered in the wild. That's enough for me to learn better than poke around here.

On 2011/2011 date attempted this one but didn't find it. Well, this should be a tricky one. Not in the obvious spot, and not in not-so-obvious, what else could I miss... Will check out the next time.

Spotted a big kangaroo right at the GZ and a muggle trying to make him go away.

Looked in several appropriate places to no avail! could this be checked to see if I am just going blind? Great spot though - thanks for taking me there - hopefully will return soon to find your cache

Found my first seven caches today, but not this one. I found plenty possible hides --a clue would have been helpful. Maybe another day.

Found it just before it got dark.

A nice walk, and a quick find once we figured out where to look. Cache does need maintenance - no longer watertight. TFTC.

#634 Yes, a nice walk by the creek on a lovely day like today. The only other people in sight were a couple right at GZ, wouldn't you know it! Thought they'd settled in for quite a while but perhaps our continued presence spoilt their amorous intentions as after a while they moved on and we were able to search in peace. Took coin. Lid won't close but contents pretty good. Thanks again pocketrocket&friends.

Found at 12:25pm after a few minutes of searching. nice spot that is a bit unexpected as you approach. Some cache maintenance is required before it is just a soggy mess.

Mint tin will not close and log book bag is ripped. Needs TLC soon or will be very wet and messy.

If we paid attention to our GPS with this one we would have been walking in the creek and not by it. GeoDad made the discovery after a few minutes of searching the most likely areas. TFTC!

Like some one else here said, it's on the other side of the path from what my GPS said. Once I broadened my horizons it was a quick find. That soldier is really doing a good job guarding the log! TFTC

29/03/2011 19:54 Found: #349 Finally convinced the geo-wife to come for a cache collection this evening. All was well except that its quite some distance from home and thus dark when we arrived. As I had scoped out GZ the prior evening I knew it would be a very easy pickup. I also knew that there was no long grass and a concrete path. Sadly that didn't help convince her and she stayed in the car worried about snakes and mozzies. Snakes were always possible but unlikely in the short grass. The mozzies were a real enough issue except that we had the Aeroguard with us. Anyway, A quick walk through the park, straight to GZ, cache in hand, signed log and back to the car, total time maybe ... 5 minutes? We had a Maccas sundae on the way home. Just managed to squish the soldier back in. TFTC TNLN SL

found this very easily i think it had slipped from its hiding place and was returned to nestle in its rightful place

Quick find. Had an unlogged DNF for it. So had read the clue and knew which side to be on. Think I had checked the spot before but was an easy find this time.

The second cache tucked under my belt while out caching with Sam Carter this evening.

Initially took the wrong way around the path to the cache location, so had a slightly longer 'walk by the creek', and both GPS devices indicated a position east of where it was actually found, but got there in the end!

There was a sense of "typical" associated with the fact that TaylorBrats and I picked the wrong side to start on when we left the little bridge, but this was okay as we were able to enjoy a nice stroll around the wetlands. We knew the approximate location of GZ 10 minutes before we arrived there, but then found that the fine details were a little out (we made GZ a little to the NNW of where our GPSrs were pointing, although, to be fair, it was within the margin of error). Having signed the log we then completed our circuit, having enjoyed the exercise. Thanks, pocketrocket&friends.

Found it on the other side of the path from where the gps was pointing us. It was still within what we consider to be the limits of gps accuracy though.

Was not able to fnd this one after an extensive search. A nice landscaping job at the GZ site.Will probably try again when in the area.

16th of 18 for our run of "night caching" with my good caching mate Marty (Quasar3671). Took a while to locate this one, but Marty had it in hand inside of 10mins. TFTC. Nice park.

16th of 18 during a Northern suburb night cache run with my mate Marshy (Blacklegend17). GPS was swinging a bit but eventually found the sneaky hide. TFTC.

Found and returned just before a bloke with very loud mp3 player came into view....that must hurt the hearing, surely? Nice spot to sit, so I did for a few minutes. Thanks.

11.15 Out and about with 80 degrees this morning. It is very cold and windy and if wasn't for the warm company we would not be here. This is our first time in this area and we like it. Another houseing estate to behold. Just can't get used to those houses without eves. Nice easy find for Mr 80degrees who went straight to it

Found today in the company of Reesylou.
We virtually walked up to GZ, looked in the first likely place, and spotted it clearly.
After signing log, we replaced and used some natural cover to help with the hide.
My thanks to PR&F for the cache, and the interesting spot it's in.

I had a decent look around and saw a very likely hiding spot, but I didn't manage to find the container. If someone else has more success I'll come back for another crack at some stage.

Found on an epic (for me) days caching with bogonghazy. This was the 25th for the day, but only my 19th as I had done 6 previously.

Had been here before and not found it after a long search. Read the logs and discovered others had found it in a slightly different place to where their (and my) GPS had indicated. Arrived today and it was in the open (and where I figured it would be by the logs).

Put it back and mostly covered it so it wouldn't be muggled, but a close look would still find it.

After stopping to visit a cousin in the estate and get an update the the blues were losing , she'd had trouble finding this one. So off peachyburtson & I head after a cuppa and did for a few mins in the wrong rocks thanks to her GPS. Mine had it spot on! 3 of 6 for the evening!

Yes unreal to think this was just bush area some years ago...heaps of new houses but the cache still ok...a very nice area..

With two previous DNF's I didn't have high hopes for this one.
But at GZ the cache was in the first place I looked.
It's amazing how sometimes the planets align and everthing seems to go right.
Had anice walk by the creek although it was a tad wet.

Spent about half hour hunting for this one, found lots of likely spots, but no luck. Maybe muggled?

We had a good look around the rocks for fifteen minutes without success. I hope it hasn't been muggled as there were a group of boys nearby. We shall come back another time and have a better look as the path was well used by frequent cyclists and walkers.

A quick find assisted by the young daughter. We then lounged on the nearby seating while observing some of the local bidlife. Otherwise the place was empty.

Again, after living so close to this cache for over 18 months, I finally made the effort to sign the log.

Please be careful in re-hiding the cache as it was clearly visable when approaching GZ.

i walked to GZ with my gps looked around at co-ords and couldent find it so i got AGranna out of the car (the one with the eyes for this sort of thing) and she told me to look a spot, and what do you know? she did it again

A nice simple cache that I ended up on the wrong side of the creek for. Doh!
Maybe I should have watched the direction as well as the distance.
Not to worry, a quick double back and across the creek I went to a location where I found the cachein just a few minutes.
Took nothing, left nothing.

An easy walk through parkland in a new estate. Exactly as the description promised. I finally found the cache about 10m from where the GPS put it. I had to hang onto the cache and my GPS due to the strong winds. I put my GPS down to log the cache and only just caught it before it fell.

On such a great day we were surprised to see no muggles at all any where. This meant an easy search and quick find for us. Judging by the structure opposite they must be expecting a lot of water to be here one day.

Find # 2767 and 6th of the day at 10:40 am. Accompanied by Iain from the Swaggies on a day out caching in a area we both havnt been to for some time. We had no maps of this area so we did quite a bit of driving around, easy find, TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Pocket Rocket & Friends....

A pleasant driveby today to get this cache. The non painted container was fairly obvious to find and the cold weather had kept the muggles at bay. Thanks again to pocketrocket&friends.

Found with Team Gramon, GeoJnr and GeoTilly on our first caching day out for quite a whilst. We took advantage of an empty driveway in front of a vacant block to park the GeoMazda and walked the short distance to GZ. Mon had the cache in hand whilst I was looking in a few more devious spots on the opposite side. Another nice waterway area in this estate. The power lines have quite an audible buzz about them, kind of makes your head hurt. Not sure if that is a good thing or not. Maybe will will know more in a few years if the next generation of kids have a certain glow about them! A nice spot and quick and easy cache. TFTC pocketrocket&friends. Cheers.

I never trust the GPS to give me less than a 5-10 metre radius anyway, so my search found this one pretty quickly with no muggle interference.

A micro, so signed log.

As previous logs state, I think the coords are on the opposite side here. Once moved to that side, found cache exposed. SL & put back in, hopefully where it will stick.

Seventeenth of twenty five cache finds for the day, the cache was found at 12:50 in the company of Alansee. Like others I also found my self at the wrong side of the path, I was with a previous finder who put me out of my misery. Perhaps the owner needs to recheck the coordinates on this one.

Searched at the posted co-ords for 5 Mins using 2 GPS as a guide. After reading back through a few logs and swapping sides of the path the cache was found in seconds
