Driving around the bay on a wonderful, sunny, warm and less windy day, seeing cool stuff and grabbing caches with Mrs D and TravelDragon99. Container is broken in many places but the log and bag are still ok. TFTC
Thanks for the find, managed to find this without the use of geocaching app as our geocaching apps weren't working this morning. Thankfully I could remember a little about where to look as we wanted to pick this one up before we left as our accommodation was nearby
Found open, but otherwise in good condition. Heaps of little bits of log. Thanks for the fun cache!
The chain came off my bike just as I wheeled in, so that provided the perfect cover with a few muggles about - although I was well shielded from them anyway.
After waiting for muggles to leave it was soon found. One lid clip broken but lid holds in place under rock. TFTC.
New container needed as all the contents fell out as I was trying to retrieve. Lovely spot here with the Moai. TFTC

Nice view of the bay.
Nice spot to stop and admire the bay. Container damaged but holding up surprisingly well.
Finally came back and snagged it and now having a trail of yellows around Lyall. Tftc
Quick find on way home from work. A mouse that seemed to live by the cache seemed quite interested in what I was doing. Thanks ADV and Felix!

I'm visiting New Zealand for a tour around the country . I have already visited many places on the North Island. Right now I'm staying for a while at Wellington. While enjoying the sightseeing I also visit some caches. This is one of them. Thank you for showing me the place and thank you for the cache . Greetings from Switzerland .
Easy peasy, the youngest on our quest almost turned herself into the cache
It’s a long time I have been around here and this time it was good to stop and enjoy the view and watch the planes come into land. Lots of muggles about enjoying the sun.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Felix!.

Geocaching with a child can be tough. Gotta let them find things in their own time - TFT Benjamin rejoiced finding this one
Found while waiting for our plane home. TFTC

I had a couple of hours waiting for a connecting flight so went for a caching walk. This was the turn around point. I should have gone further as I had plenty of time then the flight was delayed. A quick find. Thanks
Geeves90 didnt know who "the Hoff" was either and no he wasn't there either. it was just the easter island statue, a random guy on a bench and us.
Hayzz asked me if we would see Pamela at this one as we approached, I was very confused.
But can co firm no busty blonde was found in thecache

Out for an arvo of caching with KiwiKatieG. Nice and easy find. Still unsure why people place random things like a teabag in a cache as a bit of swag... it's dumb people. Don't do it. Had to try and work out which log to sign as there are 100's of pieces of paper in the ziplock back. Would be nice if the CO cleared out the cache a bit and did some maintenance so it was neat and tidy. TFTC
She was breezy out here today! Luckily and I are driving rather than walking on this park and grab outing. I enjoyed reading about the Polynesian connection between the people of Rapanui (part of Chile) and Māori at the nearby sculpture. TFTC. KTG

MY FIRST EVER GEOCACHE!!!!!!
Saw a random video pop up in my social media feed recently about geocaching. This seemed like an intriguing activity so I decided to create this account and have a go at it myself. After learning the basics of the game and navigating the website, I decided to select a cache to try and find. This one seemed easy online and wasn't too far from my house.
Drove down here in the evening and ended up parking pretty much directly next to the cache. After a bit of searching and with help from the clue, I soon found the little container hidden away. I took it back to my car to open it up and sign the logbook. The logbook was a little confusing as people seem to have signed many different areas of it. Eventually I found what I believed to be an appropriate spot for my signature, so I signed the logbook and replaced it back in its bag.
All I had to do now was re-hide the container and log my find online. Just before I exited my car to re-hide the geocache, a random vehicle pulled into the park and stopped just a few metres away from where the cache need to go. I decided to remain in my car until this person drove off elsewhere as it probably would have looked kind of odd to them to see someone leaning suspiciously into the bushes at night lol.
They left after about 3 minutes and I was able to quickly return the geocache to its original hiding spot.
I really enjoyed coming out here tonight to find this geocache, it was a lot of fun and I hope to be able to find more of these in the future

We're being blown away, but the cache is all good, (although 2 lid clips have gone!) TFTC
